WEBDAV Connection and permission to upload to no Mac Webdav server

Our school district recently installed a new web server running WEBDAV ( I am sure it is Windows product). I use golive and dreamweaver (Latest editions) also with finder I cannot upload new files. In finder, I can see the files but I cannot copy files to the server within finder. I can download a file, to my HD, but I do not have permission/priviledges to upload. I can see the directory on the server.
Within golive and dreamweaver the i can connect to the webdav server but cannot upload or download. I cannot even see the contents of the directory.
The district is all windows, I use a Mac and in the minority but I would like to connect to the server to manage my web site.
The district is relutant to assist, but will try stuff I can find.

Added information: the PowerMac's System Pref's > Network does not display a WiFi link. It is connected to the base by ethernet cable and certainly has no problem reaching the internet and mounting the old PowerBook (OS 10.4.11) via WiFi address.
But it still won't mount/share the new PowerBook (OS 10.8.2).
And I still need to make this connection, and find a list of all the required settings & procedures to make it.

HT4628 My ipad and iphone connect and recognize wifi signal, but my mac pro running 10.6.8 does not recognize or list the wiifi signal as option, any ideas?

In Austria, iphone and ipad "see" and connect to wifi signal no problem but mac pro in same room will not even allow me to choose the same wifi signal. It seems almost blocked. Havectried everything it seems by restarting, deleting preferred accoints, etc. software is updated but running osx 10.6.8

Try the basics first:
Change your router channel number. Most times this works & is all you have to do.
Disconnect & reconnect your modem. unplug it for about 10 seconds. Plug it back in. Do the same for Apple’s routers. Wait for everything to reboot.
System Preferences>Network
Click the Assist Me button.
In the next window that pops up, click the Diagnostic button & do the necessary.

E2100L Cisco Connect and Network Magic compatibility issues with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

When you will release the latest version for Wireless router Linksys E2100L?, because I bought a MAC with Lion and I can´t use my Router.

Older versions of Cisco Connect for Mac computers have compatibility issues with the latest release of Mac OS X (10.7 “Lion”). Only Cisco Connect versions 1.4.11222 and newer are compatible with the Lion operating system.

There is no such information about the release of Cisco Connect for E2100L for the Mac OS X (10.7 “Lion”) compatibility, so you need to wait for further release of the firmrware for E2100L.

E71 Exchange Server Connection - No Permission to ...

I purchased an e71-2 last Friday, and I have been unable to connect it to my company's exchange server. Downloaded and installed MFE. Received the proper connection settings from IT. Received the proper access point settings from AT&T. Continually get an error reading:
"Your account does not have permission to sync with current settings. Contact your administrator."
The admin log reads HTTP error code=403 and HTTP Server error 403: Forbidden.
Able to log into the corporate webmail internet portal from my device's browser. Per a recommendation on another post, also tried to connect with https://myserver/Microsoft-Server-Activesync. Entered my username and password and received the following error - "http/1.1 501 Not Implemented" - which I guess is supposed to be a good thing.
We have a number of WinMo phones and Blackberry's that connect and are working fine. All the Exchange server settings for my account seem to be in order too. I used to connect with my blackberry, so I know the account allowed some devices to connect with it.
Any advice or suggestions would be more than welcome. Thanks!

Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync must have Granted access to your IP or all IP addresses (that is what error 403 means = Restricted IP)

Same thing because you are accessing MS Exchange through secure http conection (SSL).
Yout IT admin has to change this settings under IIS/YOURSERVER/WEB SITES/Default Web Site/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync

Well regarding to this everything should work so I suppose that there is a problem with E71 Mail for Exchange settings. You can find manuals for MFE on http://www.businesssoftware.nokia.com/mail_for_exchange_downloads.php

Is there a difference between the Mac Mini Server and installing the Lion Server on an iMac?

So, I was wondering what the difference is between installing the Lion Server on an iMac as opposed to buying the Mac Mini Server because the iMac may be a cheaper solution for me since I intend to purchase a new monitor, keyboard, mouse and accessories if i purchase the Mac Mini Server.

If you intend to leave the server running all the time a Mac mini server would probably make more sense. It isn't necessary to keep a monitor, mouse and keyboard connected to the server as you can use the server management tools, remote desktop and SSH via the terminal window on your iMac to manage the server remotely once it's up and running.

Just for the record:
I had received the error message "An error occurred while uploading one of your files. Please check your network connection and click Retry to resend your file" after all data apparently had been uploaded.
After trying everything recommended on the internet, I finally found the culprit: Glimmerblocker, an ad blocker!
(GlimmerBlocker version 1.4.16, Mac OS X 10.7.2 Lion)
Actually, the credit goes to the very patient German Apple support: they had finally asked me: "what software have you installed lately" ... a big applause to the guys there!

In our case, it was not third party software, but a problem with our router not accepting pings. If you are using a router be sure to set-up Enable WAN Ping Respond, in the advanced settings. I reviewed my wireless router's logs and found that it was blocking ICMP Type 3 packets from Apple's server. As a result, it would give the message, "An error occurred while uploading one of your files. Please check your network connection and click Retry to resend your file." You can find the blocked packets in your log based on the time you clicked the buy button for your iPhoto purchase (in my case about a dozen times). If your packets are blocked, then that is your problem.
I should have suspected it was the connection since the message plainly said, "...check your network connection...". However, I discounted this along with so many others based on the forums, since I could connect to the internet. If there only was a way the message could have gave a little more saying, "Enable your WAN Ping Respond now, or else!"

I want to upload a text file from my windows mobile device( WM 6.1 version) to a server using the gprs connection and the http method. The application runs on IBM weme j9 VM.
Anybody having done anything similar to this,please post a code snippet or provide helpful resources..

I'm getting an error copying some files, I see that it's an issue in CS3

FYI, It's not an issue with DW CS4... it's an issue with IIS6 and WebDav. (remove a filter in IIS6 for the webdav site)

Help - I have tried the restore but it didn't put back my photos it just started to sync the ones that had overwrote my old ones!!!

I took the orginal photos on my iphone over the past couple of years and bit by bit i uploaded them onto my sony lap top in albums... Nothing to do with itunes...
A few months ago as my laptop didn't seem as reliable so i uploaded all the pics onto my ipad from my laptop, it was today where i thought i will upload more from my phone onto the mac then onto my ipad but insted it overwrote all the pics on my ipad.
I had tried to do the back up and it didnt work the photos were lost.
Then my ipad later today was driving me insane and wouldnt delete any of the pics so i just restrored it back to factory settings.
My laptop has had issues so i have in restored all that to.
I will now in the future just upload from my phone straight to my mac and not mess about wanting pics on my ipad.
I appricate your help but i am pretty sure i have lost all of my photos... My kids 1st day at school the lot...

Can anyone help with the Photo Book process? I have tried at least a dozen times and the Photo Book always fails at the very last stage of the process. Boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and order from there.
Also make a PDF file of your book according to this Apple Document, iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it, before you order to check for errors. Keep that file to compare with the printed copy when it arrives.

Where is my WEBDAV content going when I upload it to my Lion Mini Server?

I have a new Mac Mini server and I have Sandvox. New to both, but not new to OS X etc.
I am uploading using WEBDAV to the server from Sandvox - Sandvox tells me it's uploaded sucessfully. You can't upload without first setting up the connection correctly - so I know it's authenticated etc.
I can't view my site from Sandvox or the server because the web server on Lion Server needs you to configure the site - which includes telling the server WHERE the content of the site is. So I can't open the site on the server because I can't configure the server because I don't know where the content is going.
I have searched for files within the site - some are photos, with unique names - yet nothing comes up in my seach.
So in sandvox you can also specify a specific subfolder name for your site - so wherever the main content resides, you get a subfolder for your site - even if I call this something like THIS_IS_A_UNIQUE_FOLDER and then search for the folder - nothing.

In general, you are correct - but also your server does need to be properly configured (and those errors above lead me to think it may not be) to serve the file types that your uploading - but it could be something else entirely. Can you zip up your composition folder, upload it to your Creative Cloud files, set it to share, and then post a link here so I can download it? If you'd rather not share it publicly, can you PM me with a link to your composition files?

Problem with connecting and syncing (quicktime.qts)

I have a problem with connecting and syncing my Iphone to itunes.
iphone alone on PC -> uploading files (fotos) is possible
itunes starts normaly, if iphone is not conected.
if i connect iphone after starting itunes, or if i start itunes after connecting iphone i get an itunes-error with message:

i test different things...
- used another USB-port
- used another PC
- used macbook of my wife instead PC

In this context, that can sometimes indicate trouble with a content file on the phone (or Touch).
Do you have any podcasts stored on the iPhone at the moment? If so, if you delete them from the phone, can you connect to iTunes without the error?
