Webdynpro Exchange Calender Integration

<b>Hello All!</b>
I am about to create a Webdynpro application which needs to access our Exchange Server.
The Application is a "booking" application where you can book different locations and items,
It theen needs to look though the calenders of our resources (we have created our different resources in Microsoft Exchange Server as <i>"Resources"</i>), and then tell if the resource is reserved or not.
Has anyone in here tried something like this?
And is there and API which can be downloaded to gain this access.

You have to setup your SSO such as User Mapping in your Personalization -> Profiles at Portal.

Hi,
you don't need MobileMe or anything fancy. I personally sync my Outlook calendar and my Outlook address book with three computers (two at the office and one at home)and besides I run Office 2003 on one, Office 2007 on the other and Office 2010 on the third, so it can't get more complicated than that, but it works 100%.
First sync Outlook with iTunes on one computer, having done that when you try to sync it to another machine, iTunes will recognize that it is synced with another computer and ask you if you want to merge the data, say yes, That's all there is to it.
It does not work for music as you rightly say but as far as Calendars and Contacts are concerned it's flawless and transparent.

How To Setup A Local Exchange Server Integrated With Office365 For A Single Mailbox

Hello,
We recently migrated to Office365 but had an issue since we need more than 16 simultaneous connections to a single mailbox. Because of this, we need to deploy a local Exchange Server that will be used to host a single mailbox that requires up to 500 simultaneous
connections for a Contact Center application. I'm looking for information on how to setup the local Exchange Server to basically create a local instance of a mailbox hosted on Office 365. So we can have our application open the numerous simultaneous connections
to our local server which will then connection to Office 365 to send/receive email through the mailbox hosted on Office365.
Please let me know if you have any information or resources you can direct me toward.

ICal denys all of exchange calender events. How do I prevent declining??

Every time I open ical and it syncs with my exchange server from work it declines every appointment I receive. When I first installed it declined every appointment from my hire date!! I like ical but will have to remove my exchange calender if a fix is not there. Help!!

Could it be the parentheses themselves? My Macbook came loaded with Yosemite so I'm not sure if my calendar is the same as yours, but that was the first thing that occurred to me. Perhaps the system is reading the time differently because its enclosed in parentheses.
My problem is a bit different, but also involves times. When I add a new event to the calendar, it puts in a time whether I want one or not. I can't find anywhere to change that option, but then this is my first Mac so I'm pretty clueless in general. Hopefully we can both find something that helps. In my case, classes would probably be the best plan.

IPhone and Exchange Calender issues persist with 2.1 update

Hi,
iPhone users cannot use the Exchange calender in my organization on their iPhones because of the following and Windows Mobile users do not have the same issue using the same settings. Exchange mail and contact work fine.
1. iPhone does not sync up existing calender events when Exchange account is added
2. Every event needs to be sent as an invitation to the Exchange account used on the iPhone. I did this after the 2.1 update and after a few minutes all the events that did show up from invitation suddenly disappear!
3. The iPhone cannot invite people to meetings. And if an event is created (for your own viewing) on the iPhone, if you edit the event it will not update on the Exchange side
4. After applying the 2.1 update I no longer receive invitation notices on the iPhone. The event just shows up in my calender but again, they disappear after a few minutes. The only events that stick are the ones I create on the iPhone and changes to that event to not reflect server side.
Has anyone come across this issue an if so are there any solutions? Thanks.

I actually discovered that the fix for the iPhone calendar not syncing correctly was either a recent MS update (We are using Exchange 2003) and or adjustment to Sites and Services in AD. So my fix above was not the fix after all. Some iPhone users during the last two weeks all of a sudden noticed their calendars were syncing and events were filled in.
From our Windows IT Admin when I asked them what they did:
“We ran Microsoft updates weekend before last, and we adjusted the Sites and Services part of AD so that our Domain Controllers are associated with their correct location (this change rendered RPC over HTTPS inoperable (it worked about 50% of the time prior to this change, based on which DC you authenticated against)).”

N66-1 Exchange calender?

I have set up mail for Exchange on my new N66-1 but the Calender do not sync with my exchange calender automaticly. How do I set this up? I can not find anything under calender settings.
Replaced my buggy Nokia N97 with a HTC Hero.
Besides the camera and the real keyboard the HTC Hero pawned the N97 on every level.

I am still stuck with this problem. This is my bosses phone, and I really need to solve it. Do anyone have any clue as to how to sync the calender with Exchange?

CUPS 8 Calender Integration to Exchange

I am trying to integrate CUPS 8.0.3.10000-4 with outlook calender (Exchange 2007)
I configured a presence gateway for Exchange Server (type outlook) and uploaded the certificate chain. From CUPS point of view everything is "green".
System troubleshooter is also "green" with a few restrictions:
Problems reported with:
     IPPM application username/password                            -> I do not use IPPM
     Verify that MeetingPlace is properly configured               -> not used at the moment
     Verify Third Party Client LDAP Connection Information     -> not sure, but I think we don´t neet it. It was working some times ago. Problem perhaps caused through new certificates for tomcat
In CUPC I can´t see any calender entries stored in outlook.
The log settings for the presence engine has been set to debug level, but nothing to see but
"12:08:30.992 |system.pe.mvc 1112026 WARNING package table entry missing for: calendar.winfo"
Has this to say anything?
This is the only information I can see.
No entry with the FQDN of the Exchange (OWA) server ore something like this

All of the errors showing up is not related to CUPS Exchange Integration.

Summary -
1) Configure an AD account with email to have "View only Administrator" and "Receive-as" permission.
2) Make sure from Exchange Management Shell that the account is setup right (in the above link)
3) Configure CUPS outlook gateway if they are already green - it should be ok except for the followings
     - If the CN of the outlok cert (Self cert) or root CA Cert (in case cert is signed by 3rd party) needs to have CA bit set (Bug: CSCsq64034)
     - SAN (Subject Alternative Name) cert is not supported (bug: CSCti65997)
     - for Account Name on outlook gateway use "domain\userid" format
4) Restart the Presence Engine service and take presence engine log in detailed level using RTMT and look for "system.pe.pa.owa.backend" - it will show at what state it is stuck

I'm facing problem in setting up email integration in SAP CRM.
What I woul like to achieve is that an email sent to the call center should be see the email in this way:
from: customer email
to: [email protected]
The exchange server responsible says that it is not possible to do this but exchange has to change the "to" domain before sending the email and so the call center agent should see in the inbox an email like this:
from: customer email
to: [email protected]
Is it right? Any hint?
Can you help me?

Hello Roberto,
E-Mail rerouting is possible with an Exchange server. We use an adress [email protected] provided from the Exchangeserver. The mail is then forwarded to [email protected] to be retrieved by our CRM System for further processing. Please ask your Exchange admin again. I think he has to get wome more information about configuration possibilities.

And from the error what I can GUESS is that FlashIslandLibrary is not loaded. Can you try developing your flex application n Flex Builder 3.0 and check?

I haven't configured WebDAV nor EWS on my IMP server so far. But I can get the "In a Meeting" status on Jabber Windows whenever I add an appoinment through Ms. Outlook or OWA. When I deleted the event, the presence changed to "Available".

So that you can see meeting presence for non-outlook users.

Need some help, I'm trying to integrate my SAP EP whit the MS Exchange server to view the calendar options but there is not much update help out there, Iu2019m using Connectivity Architecture based on CDO and working whit exchange 2007 and Netweaver 7.0 ehp 1
I get these errors:
When Iu2019m on the collaboration room service at the calendar iview
1. An exception occurred while reading or writing from/to the IIS server
And this one when Iu2019m on the content administration window at collaboration at the calendar review
2. Portal runtime error.
An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.

Please Help me whit this, if u have some update guide to do this integration ill be grateful

MS Exchange 2007 integration with ECC 6.0

Hello Experts,
   We have ECC 6.0 and MS Exchange 2007. We need to integrate ECC 6 and MS Exchange .
   Mails sent from MS Exchange should be received in ECC 6.
   What is the method to do this ?
   Mails sent from MS Exchange to ECC 6.0 should be available in SAPGUI Inbox..
   MS Exchange supports MAPI format and ECC Mail Inbox supports SMTP . So how should it be integrated ?
