how can transfer bitmap images through SAP RFC call to webdynpro?
do the images tranfer work like ordinary data transfer.
images are stored in R/3.

Hi,
Actually I do not want to store the images in Java webdynpro application,but would like to display the images through webdynpro.Images are stored in SAP System.
I would like to call these images in to java webdynpro by a RFC call to SAP System.I am not an expert in RFC.SO would like to know whether it is possible to transfer images throuh RFC like a normal data transfer and how.

Webdynpro - selectable images

I watched and read about images that were selectable. Only it was done in Adobe Flex Islands. I'm currently on Netweaver 7.0 - no enhancement packs. So I can't use Adobe Flex.
Is there a way using just Webdynrpo to create this? I'd like to have many different images that you can scroll. Then when the image is clicked - something happens.

If you use the link to action UI element you can also supply an image and event on the click of the image (you don't need to supply text) - this might be helpful if you had other information in the table that you didn't want to trigger the event (if you were just using the lead selection event). I often use this to replace a "button" in my applications where the standard WD button design is not what the application requires.

Setting Image field in adobe form

Hello Gurus,
I have a question setting the image field dynamically.
I have created a following context structure for
DataSource(ValueNode Cardinality (1..1))->imagenode(Valuenode Cardinalty(0..n))->image(Value attribute))
I have binded the Datasource node to the Datasource of the interactive form.
I have dynmaically created the imagenode and set the value for the image.
for(int i=1;i<5;i++)
         image= wdContext.createIImagenodeElement();
                          if(i==1)
                         image.setImage("http://Image1.png");
          if(i==2)
          image.setImage("http://Image2.png");
          if(i==3)
          image.setImage("http://Image3.png");
          if(i==4)
          image.setImage("http://Image4.png");
          wdContext.nodeImagenode().addElement(image);
Now I want to set this node to the image field in adobe.
In URL of the image field I have enterted $record.imagenode[*].image and its not working where as the same thing works for text field.
Please let me know if any one has any idea on this.

Copy the images to src -> mimes - > Components of your development component / project.
To the value node set the url like the following way ...

Can a iview monitor the loading of another iview?

Hello,
We created some IAC iviews and these IAC sometimes takes upto 1 minute to load completely. While doing so, there is no indication that the page is loading. In workplace, there was a image(similar to the webdynpro loading image) but this is not available in the portal. We poked around and concluded that the image was being loaded and unloaded by the base frame. How can we accomplish something similar in the portal? Specifically, can we use EPCF for it? Biz has ruled out modifying IAC pages to fire EPCF events. Can a iview monitor the loading of another iview?

To make app maintenance easier, I'd prefer to define the logic in one button and have the second button
simply do whatever the first button is defined to do -- as if it was the one that was clicked. Generally a button either submits the page with a request (i.e. 'CREATE') or executes some Javascript. You can make multiple buttons on your page that when clicked issue the same submission request. In that case, the Processing designed to run on that request will run regardless of which is clicked. Likewise more than one button could execute the same Javascript function.
For example, I have several apps that my userbase makes use of, and some people make use of several. To make it clear which they are logging into, the login screen of each has a graphic that indicates the app name (the same as defined in the application's logo). That graphic is actually in the screen as a graphic button and when clicked will submit as 'LOGIN', so it matters not whether someone clicks on the image or the Login button, the login logic will execute.

Reinstallation of SAP NetWeaver ABAP

My first installation failed. So I cleaned my PC from
saü and sapdb manually since the uninstallation.exe
is missing. Then I cleaned the registry manually.
Now I tried installation again, but at 17% I get an Error:

Also please check your C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetcservices -file that there aren't any entries like NSP are left.

Image not showing in Abobe integrated with Java WebDynPro

Hi All,
Image is not showing in Abobe integrated with Java WebDynPro.
I did the following:
Added the image field in adobe form. in URL value set the value of context node binding. Binding set to none and size set to Use Original Size.
Then in script editor i wrote
this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
at innitialize , javascript and client.
I can see the image from the same url context value if image field is created directly in WebDynPro View.
Can anyone suggest what is missing?

Try changing your line of code for this one
this.value.image.href = xfa.record.Images.URL;
Check that the url passed by scripting is correct with a messageBox for example.
You can also try assigning a hardcoded url at scripting level to check if its works.

use this code to create resource and you need to set this value to the context created to display the image suppose in the image UI and set the source property with this attribute:-
IWDResource res=WDResourceFactory.createCachedResource(b,"MyImage",WDWebResourceType.JPG_IMAGE);
IPrivateAppView.IVn_ImageTabElement imageEle=wdContext.createVn_ImageTabElement();
imageEle .setVa_Name(res.toString());

In your view layout you take table UI element and then you bind it with some context nodes.
The attributes of your nodes comes as a field.
Now in these fields you can set various properties and image is one of them.
Go to ->
1. View Layout -> Right Click on ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER -> INSERT ELEMENT -> TABLE
2. Right click on table -> Create Binding.
Here you have to bind it with the appropriate context node.
You will get two properties here
a- Standard Cell Editor :- ( make it image )
b- Standard properties :- ( If required set image properties ).
3. If you want put image from out side then import it as a mime object and set the source of your table field ( used as a image )

Hi Shankar,
according to the sap documentation (inserting a graphic), I could imagine the following problems
1.) image file type is not supported (-> "see the online help in Adobe LiveCycle Designer under Defining Object Properties ® Image Fields ® About Image Fields" )
when you use "Graphic Reference"
2.) url could not be accessed.(-> "This means that you may have to configure appropriate access rights for Adobe Document Services (ADS)" ).
Maybe this will help you finding the problem.

My requirement is to display the company logo on that HTML file. Where to place that image file and how to call that image file in my HTML.

The UI element Image enables you to integrate graphics into the Web application in a format that is processed by the Web Server u2013 for example, GIF, JPG, and PNG format. Height and width of the graphic can be specified using the properties height and width. The graphic is displayed without borders.
saveur image as mime
with Mime Objects u cn upload doc , jpeg, or giff files from our local system into the webdypnpro system .
Right click on ur component->mime object->import
In the transaction sicf/bc/webdynpro , u cn check your component name there you can view the mime objects created by you .

are those icons wou want to display then. he following code will be useful.
data : lo_IMG type ref to CL_WD_IMAGE.
LO_IMG = cl_wd_IMAGE=>new_IMAGE( id = img_id SOURCE = 'ICON_BW_APD_TARGET' tooltip = sts_tltp ).
lo_cont->add_child( the_child = lo_img ).
here lo_cont is the container where you want to add the image dynamically and source is the attribiute through which you can change the ICON image. this thing you can getit from data base table and change accordingly.

and i used ls_z_if_test_cv-im_photo ( type is Xstring) to receive export data
