WebDynpro Theme - in SP 14

Dear all!
We had an upgrade to SP 14, and our customized stylesheet theme for the WD Application is not active/used by the server.
The Stylesheet is packed in the WebDynpro project under src/mimes/Applications/OurApplication/OurTheme
In the Visual Administrator, in the Configuration Adapter, we successfully used the following properties in our "Property Sheet Default":
- sap.UseWebDynproStyleSheet: true
- sap.Theme.default:
/webdynpro/resources/local/ProjectName/Applications/com.xyz.ApplicationName/OurTheme
After upgrading to SP 14 this configuration does not work any longer...
The Server doesn't use the StyleSheet as default.
Any ideas?

The buttons are missing the text, it should be standard for RB_CLASSIC and enhanced for RB_SPLIT.

How can I upgrade a webdynpro theme from 6.40 to 7.0?

Hi All,
we have got a WebDynpro theme created for our company which currently runs on Web AS 6.40 SP 17. We have another WebAS Java 7.0 SP 9 installation. If I use the theme running on 6.40 on the 7.0 it does not work properly with for e.g. the WebDynpro content administrator. I have tried to import the theme in eclipse theme editor for nw2004s sp9 but the import fails with the error message - portal Data missing.
Does anyone what I have to do to get that theme running on WebAS 7 SP9?

Webdynpro Theme

I have an webdynpro Application which is using Custom webdynpro Theme.
My Application is running on SP15 2004s.
I have 2 Issues.
My Text on Links is being displayed with more font size than the normal text.
I have consistent font size as 0.7 em
2nd thing
I want to change the iCons of TreeByNesting in a Table. Expand,Collapse etc..
I have changed this icons for normal Tree View. They are not being reflected over there.

Hi
Check whether you have some space after the folder name that you have specified in WAS location.
I see one point, after your XYZ folder name, kindly place a '/'(back slash) so that the theme is picked from / inside the custom folder.
Otherwise, I donot see any issues for the theme to work !.

Trouble with Appplication after modifying WebDynpro Theme

Hi all,
since I modified a WebDynpro theme the behaviour of several UI Elements changed dramatically.
The dropdown listbox is unclickable.
The little calendar pop up of an input field being bound to the type date doesn't appear anymore.
Basically every interactive Element refuses to be interactive
I'm using a Viewset with T-Layout. The left column only contains links to views being displayed in the right column of the viewset.
This afternoon even the links do not work anymore.
I'm developing on SP12, Themeeditor and themes are as well based on SP12.
Can anybody support me?

It looks like that the generation of the individual folders within the main folder(containing all the elements required for the theme)is missing or not generated properly. When you develop a theme, make sure its compatible ("with all browsers")and have the 'generate all'.
Since you said, that you are using sp12 for development and are using the sp12 theme editor, it should work properly.
Yes, we had issues with regard to combo control and date element with our previous SPs.
I did a cross check on my side, where I had sp12 for development and used sp11 theme editor and looks good.
Hence do re-generate your folders and try it out.

Webdynpro themes

Hi,
i developed a theme for the SAP WEB AS 6.40 with the NW04Stack16 theme editor in the developer studio 2.0.16 and the appropriate themes (service pack 16). Now i have to migrate the standalone webdynpro application to the new SAP WEB AS 7.00 using the developer studio 7.0.08.
I tried to use the theme i generated for the 6.40, but it causes different errors in the application.
I think i need the theme editor plugin for the new developer studio 7.0.08 and the appropriate themes. Does anybody know, where i can find them ? Or is there any other possibility to make the old theme work on the new server ?

Webdynpro theme is not same as Portal Theme

Hi,
I am usig Enterprise Portal 7.0 SP12.I am facing a problem with themes.I have set the portal theme as Sap Chrome and i could find that change in Theme is not affecting the Webdynpro view .I could fing that the property sap.useWebDynproStyleSheet Visual Admin services->ConfigurationAdapter->webdynpro->sap.com>tcwddispwda~propertysheetdefault is false .I even tried changing property sap.theme.default but i could find that my webdynpro view comes as plain instaed of displaying in any particular theme set there.Kindly help me to solve the issue.

Hello Neeta,
In the view "Multiple Property Replacement", you can add the Folder, containing your webDynpro iViews to the list of selected objects. You can do this by clicking right button on the Folder in the tree and selecting add folder to list.
now you can click next. on this view you select just "iView" an click next again.
in this step 3 you select search for objects by poperty-ID. as property ID you will use "LAF_Switch". You can copy and paste this. as value, you will use "true".
next screen (step 4 ) will show you how many objects will be changed.
in step 5 you can select which iVewes really shall be changed, if there are some, that should not be changed. for your first try, you can select only one and see, if this works as you want.

Apply custom themes to WebDynpro application in Portal

Hi,
We have just upgraded the E-Recruitment to EHP4. We have two instances of ECC in which one acts as HR instance and the other one for E-Recruitmet. We have created custom themes for portal and need to apply the same for the WebDynpro ABAP applications for E-REcruitment. I have downloaded the theme and from portal and uploaded the same in MIME folder using SE80 transaction. I have also added the parameter sap-cssurl=/sap/public/themes/<my custom theme folder name>.
Also tried giving the url in application parameter as
SAP-EP-THEMEROOT=http://<hostname>/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal/customer/<custom theme>
Is there any other way to apply themes for WD ABAP applications. I dont want to customize the standard applications and just want to apply the themes.
Any suggession on this is highly appreciated.

Theme editor and especific wd theme problems

Hi, my problem is this.
Hi have one WD application that has have a different theme from the EP.
I downloaded the SP13 Theme editor and then uploaded the new theme to the server wd theme folder.
Using the sap-cssurl parameter when calling the wd applicaction to apply the theme its working with the standars themes (sap_chrome, sap_tradeshow, etc) but when I try to use my custom theme the dropdowncomboboxs are not opening and their values apear separately as a list. Also table footer is displaying without an style at all.
I read the note 779659 and I already tryed to change the default theme property using my custom theme but result is the same.
Can anyone give me some help?

configuration management , infrastructure , application modules , tp~wdpa , search for this
and then in the properties you have provide the Custom theme name you have created .

Theme editor images

Is there any way to change the colors of the pictures of my custom theme?
I'm trying to change the color to red but every program i use doesn't allow me to do that.

I talking about WebDynpro themes, just to reconfirm.
You can import Webdynpro themes from the Reference 1 and implement the same using Reference 2. you will have links to change the images and if not you can update the images in the folder structure under the NWDS workspace.

Using portal theme in web dynpro tables

We are currently running EP6 (NW04). Is there a way to make our java web dynpro table ui elements use the portal theme? All tables appear blue unless they are checked as readonly in which case they are white.
I see there is a TableCellDesign ui element, but that is not available until NW04s and we are not there yet.
Please assist. (and thank you!)

You are right about NW04s portal theme editor and we are able to change colour
the tablecelleditor ui. But as far as i remember i was able to change properties like selected cell colour, non selected cell colour and mulitselected cell colour.
However if you are not able to change it in EP 6.0 (NW04) then use the webdynpro themes. I suppose you will be able to do everything there.

Complex layout and images on webdynpro

Hello:
I've been using webDynpro for some apps, and I couldn't help noticing how "hars" the final GUI is... is there a way that I can import an HTML file and start importing eviews from there?
You know websites usually start in photoshop, I create the layout, images, branding there and then export as -> html and images so I get a really cool layout (designers point of view)
Then I'd go to dreamweaver and insert all php jsp and programmatic stuff... I'd like to import the htmls into webdynpro instead of dreamweaver, is that possible? if not, how can I embed things like flash, javascript, etc?
