Webex event center+encuestas o votacion

Note You can configure the FRS logs to record detailed debugging entries. For more information about how to configure FRS logging, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
221111 Description of FRS entries in the registry
To perform a nonauthoritative restore, stop the FRS service, configure the
BurFlags
registry key, and then restart the FRS service. To do so:
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type cmd and then press ENTER.
In the Command box, type net stop ntfrs.
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type regedit and then press ENTER.
Locate the following subkey in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtFrs\Parameters\Backup/Restore\Process at Startup
In the right pane, double-click BurFlags.
In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, type D2 and then click
OK.
Quit Registry Editor, and then switch to the Command box.
In the Command box, type net start ntfrs.
Quit the Command box.
When the FRS service restarts, the following actions occur:
The value for BurFlags registry key returns to 0.
Files in the reinitialized FRS folders are moved to a <var>Pre-existing</var> folder.
An event 13565 is logged to signal that a nonauthoritative restore is started.
The FRS database is rebuilt.
The member performs an initial join of the replica set from an upstream partner or from the computer that is specified in the Replica Set Parent registry key if a parent has been specified for SYSVOL replica sets.
The reinitialized computer runs a full replication of the affected replica sets when the relevant replication schedule begins.
When the process is complete, an event 13516 is logged to signal that FRS is operational. If the event is not logged, there is a problem with the FRS configuration.

  • Webex Meeting Center and Jabber for Ipad support in Webex Telepresence

Hello, I have a two questions which are unclear based on my browsing of posts in this thread.
    1) Are traditional Webex Meeting Center meetings able to be joined to a Webex Telepresence session?  Ie. I have two callway/webex telepresence nodes (SX20 and a C40) can they have a webex meeting center participant brought in?
    2) Is Jabber for Ipad supported using the Webex Telepresence service?  Using the example endpoints above I have a SX20 and C40 and they want to add a Webex for Ipad endpoint in.
    Thanks.

You cannot have Telepresence endpoints using Callway service(WebEx TP service) join a webex session directly. You can do this however using WebEx enabled Telepresence which is meant for on-premise users to work with WebEx
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/tms/config_guide/webex_enabled_telepresence/cts_webex_config.html
In the call way (aka WebEx tp service), the work around is you have to use an endpoint that has multi site capabilities to make one video call and see video from other end points and then make an audio call to the WebEx service and bridge them together. Now users can audio and video and presentation remains on WebEx but it's not like the true webex enabled telepresence which today call way doesnt support
See attached PDF last page. Also you may need a PSTN subscription to make that call happen

  • WebEx Support Center Remote Access - Ordering Guide

    Hello,
is there an Ordering guide with product numbers for WebEx Support Center Remote Access ?
I`ve didnt find something like this...
    Richard

Hello and thank you for the response. I have set port forwarding in my Linksys router to 1024 per my first chat session with Linksys support. As far as the Hughes.net satellite router, to the best of my knowledge there are no changeable user settings. Hughes.net customer support was useless in helping in this matter not to mention, I could not understand the support rep (no offense intended towards anyone).
I have had three Linksys support chat sessions and the last one (two nights ago) was a disaster as the support rep had me change my Linksys router IP address as well as some other settings which caused my network to go down. Granted I am by no means a computer guru and perhaps I set something up wrong but the 6 hours I p****d away resetting my network was very frustrating.
My last chat session almost seemed like the support rep was just taking shots in the dark to resolve my remote viewing issue. Don’t get me wrong, I am sure the support rep was doing they’re best, I am just aggravated that my system was used as a test bench rather than this issue having been researched and resolved by a Linksys engineer in house.
I would like to get in touch with a Linksys engineer who has the knowledge and experience to get my cam up and running but don’t know where to get contact info.
I have heard nothing but great reviews about this camera and this is why I can not understand why this has become such a complex issue to be able to view mine via the internet.
I am still hoping that someone can come up with a magic “pill” on this site to get me up and running.

  • Registering with the WebEx Data Center and the Cisco WebEx Node Management System

    Dear guys, ...
    Please help,
i want to implement to webex node ASR1000, i have read in "Configuring the Cisco Webex Node for ASR 100.pdf", there is prerequisites to implement it, that is "Registering with the WebEx Data Center and the Cisco WebEx Node Management System"
Can someone tell how to "Registering with the WebEx Data Center and the Cisco WebEx Node Management System"
Are there any step by step documentation to "Registering with the WebEx Data Center and the Cisco WebEx Node Management System"?
    Thank you
    BR

You should have received a PAK Key with your order.  Go to Cisco licensing and enter the PAK Key as this will start the process.  Once the PAK Key is validated a screen will be displayed to enter your request for ASR 100 integration.  It normally takes a few days to a couple of weeks to get the information back from WebEx needed to configure your ASR.
If you did not get a PAK Key contact your WebEx rep to get the process started to integrate your ASR to your WebEx site.
    Hope this helps
    John

  • CISCO WEBEX SUPPORT CENTER

I would like to know the costs of Cisco WebEx Support Center and the minimum of licenses available. We are a Cisco Partner and one of our end customers asked us this information. I also need to know what channels are available to purchase these licenses.
    Thank you!

    Hi,
You might want to contact your sales point of contact in Cisco to get this information.

  • Passing parameter to third party survey via Webex Event Destination URL

I am looking into using the end of event destination URL to route an Event attendee to a third party survey tool.  Is it possible to pass WebEx environment variables (attendee email, event name, event start date, etc.) via URL parameters, so I don't need to ask the user the name and event attended in the survey?
    Thanks, David!

    Hi David,
I assume this is for WebEx SaaS (Cloud based) solution. Unfortunately, this community is for Cisco WebEx Meetings Server (on-prem solution) and is not observed by WebEx SaaS experts. You might be better of by calling into WebEx Support - 1.866.229.3239, provide them with your WebEx Site name and see if they can answer your question.

  • Webex Events: How to catch up for missed one ???

    Hello,
I have subscribed for SDN's "SAP NetWeaver Know How Network Call Notification". As per that I am getting emails for all the scheduled "EVENTS". I was not able to attend the event "HA Setups for NW04 - changes with SPS15/16" , becasue of a some urgent meeting with client. Now when I am trying to access it through WebEX, I am not able to get either the material (Presentation) nor I am able to view that "EVENT".
Does any one has idea, how we can catch up with such missed EVENTS in "WebEx".
    Regards
    Sunil

Follow these instructions to uninstall MacKeeper. They have been tested with the most recent version of MacKeeper (v 2.8). Earlier versions than the one released in 2012 require more extensive work to uninstall all its components.
The effects of having actually used MacKeeper to do anything are a completely different matter. The fastest way to take an exquisitely designed and painstakingly engineered Mac and make it run like a steaming pile of dung is to install and use such ill-conceived "cleaning" or "security" products. This is just one example of a broad category of time- and money-wasters capable of causing damage that can only be rectified by reinstalling OS X, restoring from a backup, or completely erasing your system and rebuilding it from the ground up. Never install such junk on a Mac.
If you used MacKeeper to encrypt any files or folders, use MacKeeper to un-encrypt them first.
Quit the MacKeeper app if it is running.
Open your Applications folder: Using the Finder's Go menu, select Applications.
Drag the MacKeeper icon from your Applications folder (not the Dock) to the Trash.
You will be asked to authenticate (twice):
You do not need to provide a reason for uninstalling it:
Just click the Uninstall MacKeeper button. You will be asked to authenticate again.
After it uninstalls you may empty the Trash and restart your Mac. All that will remain is an inert log file that does nothing but occupy space on your hard disk.

I know I'm not the only one with this problem, but I'm not often able to follow the advice given to others -- it's too technical for me and uses abbreviations I'm not familiar with.  I would so appreciate any suggestions anyone might have -- expressed so people with not much expertise can follow them.  Here's the report on my machine.  Thanks!!

MacKeeper is not capable of doing anything that can't be accomplished more safely and easily using the Mac's built-in tools.
OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it updated with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":
Never install any product that claims to "speed up", "clean up", "optimize", or "accelerate" your Mac. Without exception, they will do the opposite.
Never install pirated or "cracked" software, software obtained from dubious websites, or other questionable sources. Illegally obtained software is almost certain to contain malware.
Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
Don’t open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
Most of these are scams that direct you to fraudulent sites that attempt to convince you to disclose personal information.
Such "phishing" attempts are the 21st century equivalent of a social exploit that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Don’t fall for it.
Apple will never ask you to reveal personal information in an email. If you receive an unexpected email from Apple saying your account will be closed unless you take immediate action, just ignore it. If your iTunes or App Store account becomes disabled for valid reasons, you will know when you try to buy something or log in to this support site, and are unable to.
Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose. Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.
Don’t install Java unless you are certain that you need it:
Java, a non-Apple product, is a potential vector for malware. If you are required to use Java, be mindful of that possibility.
Disable Java in Safari > Preferences > Security.
Despite its name JavaScript is unrelated to Java. No malware can infect your Mac through JavaScript. It’s OK to leave it enabled.
Block browser popups: Safari menu > Preferences > Security > and check "Block popup windows":
Popup windows are useful and required for some websites, but popups have devolved to become a common means to deliver targeted advertising that you probably do not want.
Popups themselves cannot infect your Mac, but many contain resource-hungry code that will slow down Internet browsing.
If you ever see a popup indicating it detected registry errors, that your Mac is infected with some ick, or that you won some prize, it is 100% fraudulent. Ignore it.
Ignore hyperventilating popular media outlets that thrive by promoting fear and discord with entertainment products arrogantly presented as "news". Learn what real threats actually exist and how to arm yourself against them:
The most serious threat to your data security is phishing. To date, most of these attempts have been pathetic and are easily recognized, but that is likely to change in the future as criminals become more clever.
OS X viruses do not exist, but intentionally malicious or poorly written code, created by either nefarious or inept individuals, is nothing new.
Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.
If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.
Summary: Use common sense and caution when you use your Mac, just like you would in any social context. There is no product, utility, or magic talisman that can protect you from all the evils of mankind.

  • Why is my Macbook Pro running so slowly/Pinwheeling all the time in maverick?

In Firefox, Mail, Pages, everywhere!  My hard drive is about 1/3 full, I'm not running anything except Firefox, mail, pages,  & quicken.  I did a disk repair (there were problems) but now they're fixed and it's not any better.  Ideas please?

Thank yo so much for taking the time to help me.

Off hand looks like you are running too many applications for the amount of RAM installed. To run Mavericks successfully you should have a minimum of 4 GBs. It appears you don't have that much installed, so you need to run fewer applications concurrently.
    Fixing a Mavericks Installation Problem
How to manage a failed OS X Mavericks installation | MacFixIt - CNET Reviews.
    Try these in order:
    1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
        b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
    2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
    4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Google Chrome and Skype Won't Start / Crashing After 10.9.2 Update

I installed 10.9.2 today and am unable to start Google Chrome, Google Chrome Canary, or Skype. All 3 of them seem to be failling on the same piece of code ("FillInSystemVersionInfoFromString"). Has anyone else seen this issue? Could it be related to some other conflicting software? I don't see the issue with any other installed applications, and the same thing happens when I try starting the apps from a brand new user account. I also already tried to re-seat the 4 RAM sticks, no dice.

  • Can a CSeries device join a Webex Training session?

I have an unregistered C40 that I would like to joint into a  "Webex Training" session. When the invite is sent out, it is only in the form of https://etc
The endpoint does have support for  SIP, H.323, http and https,  but the meeting invite only has a URI that is userful in a browser, there is no SIP or H.323 in the meeting address.
Can I dial a sip URl to join the training meeting?
    thanks
    Rob

    Hello Rob -
If they sent you an invite, and it doesn't contain any TelePresence details, such as a SIP URI, then you will not be able to join.  Only WebEx Meeting Center can support TelePresence endpoints dialing in, Training, Event, and Support centers are not supported.
