WebEx Recording - Convert to mp4 grayed out

I administer a CWMS system, version 2.5.1.29.B-AE
I'm using the WebEx Network Recording Player download provided by our host, Version 29.9.0.10085
I use Windows 7, not Mac.
I can convert to WMV and see the option for SWF, but MP4 is grayed out. Screenshot attached.

You aren't doing anything wrong. MP4 conversion is not supported with CWMS NBR recordings. There is an enhancement request submitted for this feature: CSCuj07694 Ability to convert recordings in downloadable MP4 file format. Feel free to share this with your Cisco Account Team so they can push this with Product Management and possibly include it in a new release of the product.

Convert to dng grayed out

after upgrading to ACR 9.0 on Mac with Yosemite Convert to DNG is grayed out. Any ideas?

No error message, simply that the option to convert to DNG in Photodownloader is greyed out.
It has nothing to do with the camera make as this happens whether there is a memory card attached or not but I'm shooting a Nikon D810 and have not been having this issue until Adobe upgraded their Camera Raw this week.
I have verified that all my Adobe products are up to date.
I do not have Adobe Downloader installed as a standalone product and never have. I've been using PS/Bridge since CS3.

Cannot convert to ACC grayed out will not work!!

Im about to rewind to itunes 7 because I cannot convertor crteate an ACC file. I've changed the encoder to ACC, I've selected the file and when I go to advanced the convert to ACC is grayed out. Current file is MPEG any ideas on why it's not popping up so that I can do it?? Read all the other posts did everything everyone else says they did but Convert to ACC still remains grayed out. Until I updated to this latest version I had no problems what gives??? Any ideas out there?

Convert ID3 Tags Grayed Out

Seems to be confined to CDs that I import using Gracenote and convert to Apple Lossless. Very frustrating as other software I use needs ID3 tags and this porcess just does not seem to preserve tham properly. I think "Convert ID3 tags" would fix this but it does not seem to be an option.
Can any other software do this conversion?

Yes, you can right-click on a file or files in your iTunes library or playlist or press Apple+i, and then go to the Info tab to edit the metadata.

ExportPDF Convert button grayed out

Two days ago my company paid for a subscription to ExportPDF. But when I open a document in Acrobat 11.0.06 and sign in, the Convert To: option button and the Convert button are grayed out. Nothing works, no error messages, no indication of any problem. The product indicates that we paid for 12 months of unlimited conversions of PDF to Word, Excel, and maybe RTF, but so far this has been a waste. Three different useless chat sessions finally brought me here. Does anyone know anything useful to try?

I have also tried to use ExportPDF from the web tool, same result.
Here is what happens.
I open any PDF I'd like to convert. In the Tools panel on the right, I toggle open ExportPDF. At this point, the Convert To: and Convert buttons are available. If I click either one, I get the notice that this requires a Paid Account and to Sign Up Now. Since I have already paid, I close that and go to the little blue Sign In link at the upper right corner.
A Sign In box pops up asking for my password as my Adobe ID email address is now prepopulated. I enter my password and get logged in as indicated by the username at the upper right.
BUT the Convert To: and Convert buttons in the ExportPDF panel are still grayed out and now there is the light blue box that indicates this requires a Paid Account and I need to Sign Up Now. So you see this is an endless loop to nowhere. (Same thing happens on the web, constantly prompted to pay, even though I already have.)
My guess is that the system has failed to register that I am a paid user. Can you unstick this and make it work correctly?
It's now been about a week since we paid, the option does not work, and I believe this is something simple. I need to be able to use this as Adobe advertises or request a refund.

Record chat option grayed out

Im running iChat 4 (601) and the record chat option is grayed out in the video drop down menu.
I saw some one else had this problem but theirs was solved when they did the QT update.
I did the update... Still no change
anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
In order to initiate a recording, your chat partner must also be running Leopard's iChat 4. Could this be the problem?
To record otherwise, you will need a 3rd-party tool such as Conference Recorder.

Recording Level grays out when I plug in my mic

Today I bought a Sennheiser e838 microphone with XLR cable and a MXL Mic Mate (to adapt it to USB) so I could record my voice. I plugged it in and it was working just fine and I recorded my song.
When I changed to a different session, the Recording Levels meter grayed out. When I unplugged the mic I was able to get it to come back on. I went back to the original session and plugged the mic back in and the Recording Levels meter grayed back out again. I unplugged the mic from the hub (the kind that has a power cord that plugs into the wall) and plugged it directly into the back of my computer but the recording meter was still grayed out.
I upgraded to GarageBand '11 to see if that would help, but the problem is the same. Does anyone have an idea why this happened and how I can fix it? I just paid about $200 for a mic and cable and everything and I hate for it to be worthless, but as soon as I plug it into Garageband, that Recording Levels meter is gone.

I too have the same problem. The audio drop out of sync in about 5 sec in not uncommon for the audio to be 30+ sec behind video. Apple needs to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a joke, my iphone is all messed up after the last update as well. at one time not to long ago apple products and software were top rated, not so much any more, more and more problems are showing up and apple is unwilling or unalbe to fix the many issues. Apple needs to fix the audio sync problem, it not the computer hardware or other software it ITUNES!!!!, there is no workaround other then hitting pause and hitting pause and hitting pause to temp fix the problem.

How to convert illustrator file containing a photograph to grayscale when the "convert to grayscale" option is grayed out?

It's been several years since I've done any design work at all. I recently got a job as a designer, and on my first day I had to create an ad in illustrator 5.5 (required to be in illustrator) for print in a black and white publication. There was even an ad template to use. I placed the photo and tried to use the "convert to grayscale" option but everything under the edit colors menu was grayed out. I know it's because of the photo. In the end I changed the photo to grayscale in photoshop and replaced the image, but I know there is another way around this. Can someone please help me figure out how to fix this issue?

If the placed image is linked, Edit Colors will not allow conversion to grayscale; however, an embedded image will work just fine. The flyout menu in the Links Panel allows you to embed the image.

Recording options grayed out

Hi,
I have just installed Captivate 3. When attempting to record
in manual, Demonstation Mode is selected by default and I am unable
to select any of the other modes. They are all grayed out. Did I
set something wrong in the preferences? What could be causing this?

Hi asafltops and welcome to our community
If you are recording in Manual mode, you cannot choose a type
of recording. This is because you told Captivate you want to
control when screen captures occur. To enable the options, cancel
the recording dialog so you are at the Captivate Start Page. Then
click Edit > Preferences... > Recording node > Settings
node. Change the drop-down from "Manual Recording" to "Auto
Recording" and click OK.
Now when you attempt to record, the options should be
available to choose.

Importing home recorded DVD footage not working. File names are grayed out.

I converted a VHS tape to a DVD with a machine my cousin owns. It all plays fine in DVD Player but I can't import the files into iMovie 09. All the filenames are grayed out in the import dialogue box.
How can I make it work?

I have a "VIDEO_RM" folder with (.BUP, .IFO, .VOB, BUP, .IFO, VOB,files)
Also hav"VIDEO_TS" folder with the same types of files.... none of the files are importable into iMovie 09 and none of them seem to work inside quicktime. But they do play in my VLC player.
