WebEx session records issue

Hi Guys,
I have a problem is that when we attempt to record a webex session to be saved on WebEx server (in the cloud), using local MeetingPlace server and Webex Node, the video recording works but no audio is recorded. If we attempt to use Webex MeetingPlace numbers we record Audio and Video successfully.
Looks like we have problems with our MeetingPlace server or Webex Node.
If you need further clarification please let me know.

Not sure if I understand your issue. If you use the record on computer option it will not record audio as this uses your PC mike but it should record audio when using Record on Server option.

i am using lsmw to import gl master records. all my steps are correct but on the last step when i have to run batch input session the message below appears:
lsmw.conv is not a session record (type 0)
i have used the method both ticking and un-ticking file without session records but still doesn't work.
can anyone advise as to what the issue could be?

Hi
Have you checked box "Field names at start of file" in the Specify file step of the LSMW. This needs to be checked if your input file has column headings as first row. Otherwise, this should be unchecked.

Cannot dial in to webex session

Hello,
I do not have 'Phone' tab in my WebEx Connect, so I cannot dial in to WebEx sessions which imples no audio during them. I've even tried different versions of WebEx Connect - always the same issue. What is stranger, all my collegues from work do have Phone tab. What is wrong, I cannot find any solution in the Internet?

The problem is that you are not connected to the corporate network where the CUCM is located. If you are remote, you will need to VPN into your corp network, then launch Connect. It will then register with CUCM as a softphone (if the admin has it setup for you). Hopefully in the coming months, Connect aka Jabber will have the ssl vpn client built into it and will automatically do this for you.

Control record issue !

I am handling UK Payroll and got an issues related to payroll run and control record,
Issue 1: The payroll driver (RPCALCG0) has skipped around 1500 Employees against payroll run for particular period
Issue 2: How control record allowed user to Exit control record for period in which EE's skipped in payroll
Please provide your valuable suggesting in regard to resolve the above two issues,

Say you want to run payroll for FEB..
But payroll control record may not be in FEB... It may be in March..
Issue 2: How control record allowed user to Exit control record for period in which EE's skipped in payroll
Payroll control record may have been deleted on the month of Jan..& been set in Release mode in March month directly...
So feb month gets skipped & Exit mode in Feb is skipped too...
For detailed info.. Go to PA03 enter payroll ares & click display option..
Under Go To tab.. look for Control Record Log..

Session Stickiness Issue

I am facing session stickiness issue where we have four webserver instances and six weblogic instances.
If you see in the failure logs the JVM ID generated by the cookie is 1872775671 but the plugin is routing the request to 923706867.Please find below

the CSS does not have the possibility to dynamically learn cookie.
So, you have to setup manually the value sent by each server.
According to your setup, the jsessionid would have a fix value after the first 33 bytes and the value will be 2 bytes long.
Is that correct ?
If yes, try to increase the string range.
Finally, it might be easier to use arrowpoint cookies.

Iu2019m considering working in GuiSession.Record mode (in SAPGui API) all the time for all SAP client applications, as part of a solution aimed to detect UI changes.
I wanted to know if working in GuiSession.Record carries significant performance implications? Other drawback? Is there any reason why working in record mode would not be advisable?

After a bit of search, I found it.
I tried Method #1, it wasn't working with a corrupt cache at all for me.
I had to do Method #2, manual mode, I entered the registry key manually.
Let me fix it myself
If you cannot access the Offline
Files tab, use this method to re-initialize the Offline Files (CSC) cache on the system by modifying the registry. Use this
method also to re-initialize the offline files database/client-side cache on multiple systems. Add the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\NetCache
Key Name: FormatDatabase
Key Type: DWORD
Key Value: 1
Note The actual value of the registry key is ignored. This registry change requires a restart. When the computer is
restarting, the shell will re-initialize the CSC cache, and then delete the registry key if the registry entry exists.
Warning All cache files are deleted and unsynchronized data is lost.

Soundbooth CS4 MacBook Line In Recording Issue

I have looked through all the forums and not found a working solution to my problem.
After recent complete re-install of both OS X and my entire Adobe Suite, I am no longer able to record in SouthBooth using the Line In option.
It ALWAYS continues to record the built in microphone.
I have gone into the OS X Preferences and set Line In as Input Device and it detects and responds just fine.
In SoundBooth I open the Preferences and select the Line In option as well and designate it in the recording pop up window too. But still, it records the built in microphone.
It didn't do this before. Everything used to work properly. So I am curious if something went foul when installing SoundBooth and if I should re-install it? Or is there a known update / patch that addresses recording issues?
I'm running OS X 10.6.8 and SoundBooth CS4 2.0.1

Session creation issues with DS3.2

We are using BODS 3.2 for development. We are aware that a newer version of DS has been released quite a long time ago but due to some reasons we are still using DS 3.2.
We are facing some session creation issues. We are using Teradata and Oracle as source and extracting\updating data using some SQLs in script tasks. SQLs are targeting huge amount of data. We executed a job and checked on the servers, sessions were created on the databases. Job kept on executing for long time and was not getting completed, there was no error also. After waiting so long, I checked on Database server and found that session was lost for these SQLs on Database servers. We are able to create a successful connection using Data Stores.
Please suggest something, Why the sessions are not getting lost on the database servers?.

There must be some common factor why both phones are having the same problem.
With the 10.2.1.537, the only problem I had was a few contacts merged and surnames were repeated.
I haven't noticed any difference with the latest upgrade.
Maybe a security wipe and restore contacts and email then one app at a time.

To move to the quality system.
First Import the lsmw in text file in development system.
To import LSMW Tcode u will find Extra option in menu bar from there choose IMPORT PROJECTS.
save the file in desktop.
Second to move to quality system
go to LSMW tcode in quality system.
use EXPORT Projects from same menu bar EXTRA then follow the procedure.
LSMW cannot be transproted

how can I record session in DB. plz get me an example

I want to keep session records in my DB Table i.e.
when the user is connected and disconnected, time,
date etc. So plz let me know the solution1. get a database in place.
2. create a table to hold the relevant fields.
3. perform an insert in the table each time the user logs in or logs out (how to detect that is not related to JDBC).
How difficult is this?

I am working on a Professional LCSS based application in which I am using all the pods like audio video publishing shared white board ,screen share ,shared notes etc.Now i wanted to add the functionality of on emand audio and video recording and playingback.but i know on demand audio video is not still possible through lccs.then i started using the Archive manager class and facing the same above URI problem and after reading your post i have emailed for register Repositry URL.
1)Now my Question is when Complete functionality of archive manager will be released?
2)can i use it in my application for the complete session recording and is it reliable.
3)Will it be possible in the released version to upload a video file and then playBack.
3) will it be possible to record audio or video separately.

Trying Solutions (But also kenot resolve problems)
1) Increase the session time out
2) Add one class for HttpSessionListener
a) public void sessionCreated(HttpSessionEvent se){}
b) public void sessionDestroyed(HttpSessionEvent se){}
If i not mistaken, the sessionCreated is when first time we go in into the page, then the sessionCreated wont be call unless there was new request or new user... What i trying to say is the sessionCreated is only be call once for one browser.. However, each time when i was doing some transaction or click on any window pop up menu like using javascript : window.showmodaldialog, or alert scriplet, it since got the session will recreated.. But the case is i cant really estimate when the
session will recreated... Each time the session recreated, the attribute and all the value store in that particular will be lost rite?
Further more, i declare one SessionManager.class to store all the session variable include the session id after the user success to login to the screen. Each time when the was transaction in database such as add, update, I will using the vector to store and compare whether the request.getSession().getId is same with the same the sessionid in vector or not... If there was same, then the continue the following task, if there was different between the id in request with the vector, means the session is recretead so i will send redirect to the login page...
For the add and update transaction we will use the alert("Add success"); to inform the user the database have been success added!
But the session lost is after 4 minutes or within 10 minutes very often it happen even the page are activate by the user...
Isnt any one got happen this before? Isnt the alert pop up menu? or isnt the window.showModalDialog cause it?
I didnt use any session.invalidate or any session.remoteatrribute to remove all the session stuff.. How can it will recreated new one?

SXDA split files for RMDATIND - First record in sequential file & not a session record (type 0)

Hi gurus,
I'm trying to perform a mass upload of material master records and for this I've have setup a Data Transfer Project in SXDA with the purpose of splitting an LSMW input file into multiple. The file split task is using Data Load Program:
Object Type: BUS1001006
Obj. description: AD Standard Material
Program type: DINP
Program: RMDATIND
The problem I'm facing is that once the .conv (Converted Data) is split in multiple files these files are being transferred without a session record. This is causing to get the following error when running program: RMDATIND "First record in sequential file & not a session record (type 0)"
So the questions is: How can I specify in SXDA that I want to keep that session record in all my split files?

Webex session Power Point presentations hang

During a monthly meeting a Webex session is initiated from Corporate to remote sites (up to 12). Top Executives provide
status on where we are and where we are going. A Power point presentation is shared during this meeting. Occasionaly a video is also shared.
On at least (3) seperate Webex sessions, it was reported that the Power Point presentation "hung up". Presenter had to back out and restart.
Network capabilities are:
     Laptops are land lined to gig ports
     Laptop Specs:

               Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30GHz
               RAM: 4G

Well, you can't link one iPad to another... what you can do is upload the presentations/slides for prospective customers on those iPads, therefore they will be able to see just what you want them to.
