If you search the part number and include India it will give you a site in India that you can order from. Here is a link to your manual page 26 for the battery part number.

PPTP Problems with RV320

I just bought a new RV320 to replace my older RV082 in my local office network. I was able to get the RV320 set up and running, but had a problem with the PPTP settings. On the RV082 I have three gateway-to-gateway VPNs set up and when a user logs in using a PPTP VPN they are able to access resources on any of the gateway-togateway VPNs. I set up the RV320 the same way and had all of the gateway-to-gateway tunnels up and running and verified from my internal network that I can reach the servers on each tunnel. I set up a PPTP user and verified that I can reach the network from a remote computer, but when I try to reach a resource on one of the gateway-to-gateway tunnels it crashes the RV320 and I have to reconnect all of my gateway-to-gateway VPNs. I ensured that all of the pass throughs are enabled and haven't found any other settings that seem out of place. Can anyone think of anything else that I may need to set up to get this to work?
I know a lot of people wouldn't use the PPTP with the other options available, but this is the best option to connect my Surface RT tablet to the network while I'm on the road since a client isn't availble for it.

just found your post and it sounds similar to an issue I am experiencing with a client.
Two sites, RV320 with latest firmware in the main office and a satellite office with a Netgear unit. Both connected via a gateway to gateway IPSec vpn. The link is very stable. The satellite office initiates the connection. The main office RV320 also has a number of users setup for PPTP remote access to company resources such as rdp/rdc.
Our issue is when I vpn in with pptp to the main office, the RV320, the moment I try to access the satellite office subnet it triggers the IPSec gateway to gateway vpn to crash. I then have to remote into the satellite office and manual restart the link.... then all is fine again. Now, if I am physically at the main office, and ping or access the satellite office subnet, all is fine.
My thought has been that either I do not have the gateway to gateway vpn setup properly or there is some access rule I am missing. I need to do some more research and experiment with the connection. It very well could be my setup as this was the first time I have setup IPSec... Just as a note, the RV320 itself never crashes ... it just shows the IPSec vpn is down ... I need to isolate the issue to either the Netgear or Cisco side...
I will follow this thread and see if you find out anything.

BPEL in 10g/11g environments

I've developed a BPEL flow using TP3&4. I'm not interested in taking this and back-porting this to Oracle 10g. I want to do this because I want to try to deploy this to a stable application server and because the 11g application server isn't availble.
Has anyone done this? What was involved?

My issue is simply that I need to be able to deploy my BPEL project to a stand-alone server. I developed this using TP4 and there are people in our organization that want to start trying this out. To facilitate this, I need to have this running for extended periods (not just in my development environment).
If I can't make this work with the technology preview, the I will have to take what I've done and try to get something close working in the 10g environment. That was the focus of this question: What's involved in back-porting my 11g BPEL project to 10g?

X-FI Xtrememusic not default midi device (vis

I need to set X-FI as the default midi device but i cannot find anything on my computer to set the midi device at all. I have windows vista and had to download the drivers for it. I am guessing this is the problem. If anyone knows where i can go on my computer or how to change the default midi device to X-FI please let me know because going to control panel Sound that option isn't availble. Thanks much. -

If you installed the beta drivers, you will not be able to change midi options. You may have to wait for the non-beta drivers to be released.

Droid Charge 3g 4g connection switching issues

Hi,
SHORT VERSION: coud not connect to 3g and only could connect to 4g if I rebooted the phone. The trouble ticket escalated to the Verizion network team and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Also, have sporadic loud screech noises when I make/recieve calls.
LONG EXPLANATION:
I was having serious issues with my Charge starting on Saturday (12Nov11) through Sunday (13Nov11). On Saturday I noticed that the Charge seemed like it wasn't getting any data reception. I live in East Lansing and drove to Kalamazoo and was able to use 4g in Kzoo. When I went into an apartment it the 4g dropped and the phone didn't revert back to 3g. I thought it was weird and guessed that the building was the culprit. On the drive home I could not get 3g or 4g.
On Sunday (13Nov11) I took my phone into the local Verizon Wireless store. The associate there couldn't help me and thought there may have been a network issue. He said that he was having issues with his 4g as well. I asked him why my phone couldn't connect to 3g, but he didn't know the answer. I remember earlier when Verizon had a 4g issue, it was on a Sunday, and I couldn't connect to 3g either. My wife has an iPhone 4 and she could get 3g both on Saturday and Sunday. I went into my apartment, where I knew i could get 3g, and couldn't get 3g. I walked outside to an area, where I knew I could get 4g, and couldn't get 4g.
So I called Verizon support, and the rep had me try changing the network setting to CDMA and then to LTE automatic, which didn't work. He had me take out my phone battery (I was in a Meijer parking lot where I knew I could get a 4g signal) and was able to connect to 4g. I asked him why I CDMA wasn't working for me and gave me this long answer about how it takes longer for the phone to connect to cdma. After the call had ended I went back to my apartment and my data services stopped. I didn't get 3g in the apartment and when I walked outside to get 4g I could not.
I called Verizon support back telling them my phone was having issues switching from 3g to 4g. A different technician had me confirm that the phone couldn't connect to 3g and only could connect to 4g if I turned the phone off and turned it back on again. He had me reset my phone back to factory settings, which did not help. He then said he would open a ticket with the Verizon Network team, which could take them up to 72 hours. He talked about network provisioning as a suspect.
On Sunday (13Nov11) night my phone started switching from 3g/4g and 4g/3g so I thought the network team was solving the issue. On Wednesday (16Nov11) the network team left me a voicemail saying that my issue was due to being in a poor 4g service area. They said that i could call back at 800 9xx 0204 option 3. The xx are there because, conveniently, the phone cut out for those numbers. I listened to the message 5 times trying to hear those dang numbers.
Anyway even though my problem went away I don't feel anything was resolved. I would like to call the network team to see if they did anything to my phone's network provisioning, whatever that means. If not I think it is my phone and want to get it fixed so it doesn't happen again.
Anyone else have a horror story like this?

I have been having the same issue for the past 2 weeks. When I am at home, my phone searches and searches for 3g because 4g isn't availble in the small town I live in. I have started switching to my wifi when I'm at home to preserve my battery. If I don't switch to wifi, my battery drains fast. When I'm at work, it's 4g but have noticed today that it's not getting the 4g. I am so frustrated with Verizon and my droid right now that I am ready to quit Verizon after being a customer with them the past 9 years. I too got no answers when I called customer support. Was told that they are having issues with 4g and to give it 24-48 hours. Well, it's been 2 weeks Verizon!

Do you mean USB cable to the PC, or just the USB cable in general? Doesn't the Sleek come with a mains adapter? If not, then you could take the risk again of getting the Micro mains adapter.

How do I reformat and start over on an outdated system without buying a new computer?

It would appear that when I deleted the partition I originally had set up for Boot Camp, I did it through Disk Utility instead of Boot Camp. I now have about 65 gb of empty hard drive space that I can't utilize and my start up disk is almost full. I get a message that the disk can't be verified and the option to repair the disk isn't availble (greyed out). The system also wont allow me to resize my start up disk regardless of what I try. When I put my original Snow Leopard cd in in an effort to erase and reformat the system so I can start from scratch, it tells me it cant because it is outdated and the system has been upgraded to a newer operating system. I have everything backed up and would be happy just erasing the entire thing and starting from scratch with my original Snow Leopard OS and build it back up to current. Anyone have any ideas? My Mac Mini still works great and from a hardware standpoint is in excellent condition...

My next suggestion, get yourself an external USB or
Firewire hard drive (Firewire preffered because it is faster)
and clone your Mac installation to it using Carbon Copy Cloner
or SuperDuper (this is a good idea anyway, even without your
issues). Be sure you reformat/partition the external drive to
GUID partition scheme so it will reboot. After this is complete,
boot to it and then reformat and repartion the entire hard drive.
When it is complete, then clone the external drive back to the internal.
The above process should allow you to fix things without the need
to do any reinstalls and as a bonus, you end up with a fully bootable
back up of your system which you can update periodically.
Another option, is to create a USB memory stick based Recovery HD
(http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4848). Then boot to this and use Disk
Utility and reformat/repartition the internal drive and then use this to
reinstall Mavericks. This method does require reinstalling everything
and be sure to backup all your data before.
The reason that you may not be able to fix this currently is
perhaps you are trying to do it from the same disk you are
running from.

2g / 3g / 2g,3g

hi guys and gals
i have a 9380 which had an issue with the ear piece being very soft , this unit got exchanged and i now have a new phone , of the same model
no i have noticed i can not switch the device to only 2g where as on my previous 9380 i could switch between 3g , 2g , 2g/3g.
my battery lasts no longer than 9 hours and its very hot the whole time .
surely this is not right , or is this the new os7 that does not support 2g ?
i have been instructed to take the phone back because it might be a faulty exchange unit ...
can any one shed some light on this ??

With BlackBerry® 7.1 software, this option has been removed. You can no longer switch to 2G only. If a 3G connection isn't availble it will default to the 2G network.

Old iphone-Old G5

Hello All,
I have an old iPhone 3GS backed up to this pre-Intel G5. I need access to the SMS text message that are living on here somewhere (hopefully). Everything I see points me towards 3rd party apps that will only function on newer OS. I bought PhoneView and it's excellent for my Mac Book Air and my iPhone 5 but it won't work on this 10.4.11 G5. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

OK. I never said there WAS an "issue" with the iPhone or iTunes and, again, I fully understand that you can restore form the back up. I'm sure there's some file living somewhere on this Mac that can be manipulated in such a way that I can access these texts and export them to a PDF or Word doc. The old phone isn't availble and I need a third party piece of software that can work with an old Mac OS-much like PhoneView works with the newer Mac and iPhone. OR I need some super secret trick that someone really smart knows on how to get at these without anpther piece of software. If you don't know the answer to either of these more complicated requests thank you for your time.

Need to figure out how to get windows on a brand new hard drive

So my hard drive for my Toshiba Satellite L505-s59903 ended up fully crashing past the point of every being used again. So i replaced the hard drive, only problem is i never made back up disks for my os. I was wondering is there a way for me to get ahold of the windows 7 recovory disks for my laptop. Right now since i don't have a os for the laptop i have a version of linux running, but i wanted to get back to windows, any help would be great.
also to add i do have a copy of windows XP, but i didn't want to have to use it if i could get the recovery disks instead.
If OS recovery isn't availble is there a way to make a driver disk so i can install the new version of windows?

If you don't care about having an exact restore w/ the recovery partition, or Office 2007 or other software that it shipped with:
download the Win7 iso w/ Service Pack 1 from Digital River (Google for links)
burn it to disk
then go to the Downloads section for your model & d/l all the Toshiba stuff (except Intel storage driver if you still have a HD that uses 512K sectors.   Not an "advanced format" drive. You need the Intel driver for advanced format. It translates the larger sector size of the drive to smaller ones for the older PCs, or something like that. It slows the system down, too.)
go to Toshiba support, downloads; find L505D-S6947, and get the Windows 7 Upgrade instructions for that model to use as a guide to install theToshiba stuff
install your "generic" Windows 7 on the Toshiba
install your Toshiba model's stuff
use to COA number on sticker on the bottom to activate (If you don't have that, buy recovery disks for $30 shipped will be your solution.   You can run the d/l Windows 7 unactivated for 30 days but it will nag you all the time that it needs to be activated and isn't a genuine Windows. And I think that it also takes some mysterious pauses every now and then, just to irritate those who are using it free.)

You can d/l Office 2010 but I don't think you can get 2007.   If you don't have disks for that, or Quickbooks, and need it, Recovery disks are the cheap answer.
The shipper for the Toshiba recovery disks is pretty fast. I just bought disks for the secondhand L505-ES5034 i3 that I bought with a trashed hard drive and no recovery partition or disks.   I put the Win8 preview on it and then the add-on start button, and I'm liking that pretty much. Excect I can't load any Toshiba software and thus I have no battery life indicator anymore and I have been shut down several times now, haha.

Can I/Can't I Nightmare

I understand there are many posts about infinity availabilty but my case is driving me insane. Basically we ordered fibre from Plusnet (website said it was available), then they never turned up on the day of installtion, after calling, stating that sorry no it isnt. So over to BT...the website gives me conflicting answers, checking my phone number (now with plusnet), says infinity isn't availble. Checking my address using house number and postcode says inifinity is available. The wholesale checker (using my phone number!) says:

Ok, but surely the point of the website is to allow customers not with BT to check whether or not inifinity is available to them, else whats the point? I actually just got off the phone to BT and they, in the first instance said yes i can get it, but then after I asked them to double check (because of the problems i have had with plusnet) they came back and said, oh erm actually no you can't. So if they are saying I can't get inifinity why does a) their website say i can and b) the wholesale site say my cabinet is ok for it as is my phone line. Hope you understand my frustration!

J2EE & JBoss

Hi guys, sorry about the JBoss question, but I cannot find another topic to put this question, so.......
I have studing J2EE using the J2EE tutorial and would like use JBoss to deploy and run my applications....but I am getting some little problems, they are:
1) What the correct strucuture of a J2EE application on JBoss, I am try to use the follow:

2) What means the files:
jboss.xml and jboss-client.xml (What they do?!!?)
3) I try do run my simple applciation and I always get NameNotFoundException, EJB not bound. I think I know ehy this error occurs, I think is because my EJB isn't availble on the JNDI name resource, am I right?!?! If yes, where I put the information to my EJB becomes available into a JNDI resource name.
Sorry to make so much questions!!!! But I really need a kick off to to go ahead alone.

The J2EE Tutorial is written for the J2EE SDK (Sun Java System Application Server, which is the reference implementation of the J2EE platform), so you should use the J2EE SDK with the Tutorial. It's free for development and deployment.
I believe the JBoss Getting Started documentation is based on our Tutorial, so if you want to use JBoss, see their documentation and forums.

Can someone explain what the new feature "Webform Security" is for?

I notice there is a new field called "Webform Security" which inserts { module_ccsecurity ] into the form code but I have no idea what this is for and there is no reference to this module in the knowledgebase.

Log into your bank, stay logged in and open a new tab. Then visit another site on the internet.
Now lets pretend that on this other site, someone (like the site administrator or a commentor) included a link that pointed to a url such as http://www.YourBank.com/TransferMoney?FromAccount=12345&ToAccount=54321&Amount=1000 and then you clicked the link, the bank would think you were making a legitimate transfer request becuase you were still logged in.
Fair enough, but you probably wouldn't click that link because you're smarter than that. Unfortunately your browser isn't so smart, and it doesn't have to be a link. They could have included an image tag, or css style sheet or javascript file that pointed to that url and your browser would have automatically "clicked" the link on your behalf when it tried to download the resource.
Thats CSRF in a nutshell.
There are ways to mitigate this danger, but its up to site owner (the bank in this example) to make sure this can't happen. As an end user it's mostly out of your hands. This tag appears to be BC's way to mitigate this, and it appears to be similar to other soultions to this problem.
I don't know if it works though, it's not docummented, so your guess is as good as mine. Either way its probably a good idea to include it on your forms.

Problem posting HTML content in WebForms

I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong location; I cannot find a form for Webforms or ASP.NET in the listings. (I also apologize if this is a duplicate question; I had trouble submitting it the first time.)
I'm updating an existing WebForms application for a relative who will undoubtedly find lots of little details for me to fix over the next few weeks. In order to reduce the number of service calls, I'm implementing a "site config" feature that
will enable him to modify some of the site elements himself, such as toggling the display of certain labels or repositioning the hit count. The configuration isn't being stored in a database, but rather in an XML document in the site root. Each
time the form is used to update the XML, a backup is saved, and the site can revert to a previous version if the current config becomes hosed. In short, I'm not particularly concerned about malicious code going into the XML, although I do have some validation
in place to make sure he doesn't screw things up.
I'd like the config to be able to hold some HTML, so that he can apply custom formatting to the elements he configures, and I have of course applied Server.HtmlEncode to those fields. But I can't get the form to post HTML content. The article here
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/a2a4yykt(v=vs.100).aspx) advises me to turn off the request validation using the @ Page attribute ValidateRequest="false." However, this has no effect. Upon form submission, the code behind is
completely ignored, and the exception "A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client" is logged.
Is there a way to override this behavior? I'm using Framework version 4.0 (with Visual Studio 2010).

If I remember correctly, you *should* be able to use whatever value you want for "key" in the RegisterOnSubmitStatement. Have you tried something like this just for a test?

But I *think* you are having a different issue. It *sounds* like to me that maybe your EncodeAll ECMA/JavaScript function may not be getting registered properly or in a timely manner. Have you used IE Developer Tools (F12) to poke around
and view the available ECMA/JavaScript Files and definitions?
There are different ways to register ECMA/JavaScript in *.NET. One primitive way is to simply put something like this in the "head" tag of your MasterPage or ASPX file:

</script>
Others ways are to use the
ScriptManager or
RegisterClientScriptInclude . You can see a few easy examples of how to register ECMA/JavaScript in Mr. Akhtar's post here:

One really *strange* behavior that seems to get a lot of people when registering JavaScript manually via the "script" tag as mentioned above is that you often have to use a *full* </script> end tag for scripts to register properly.
I have *no* idea why some browsers require this, but it is something web developers need to be aware of. For example my
"<script type='text/javascript' src='./myJSFile.js'></script>"
example above should work if you have the right path but strangely
"<script type='text/javascript' src='./myJSFile.js' />" does *not* necessarily work on all browsers even if you do use the correct path to the desired ECMA/JavaScript File.

Hi im trying to view a simple report , this report have some parameters from a MS Access database.I configure everything, The ODBCJDBC bridge, the dns System on Windows, etc... and the problem its like this, I connect the database, but the schema its empty , i cant map, the dinamic parameters of my report, with my access database.I have this errors : at same time 1. Thanks for your feed back. I could see Microsoft.ReportViewer.ProcessingObjectModel.dll to add as reference to my project. Actually I can open generated rdlc in designer, at run time I get error. I could not make out where is the exact mistake out of three
options flashed.

or contain content that is not well-formed or not valid based on Reporting Services schemas
Details: Data at the root level is invalid
My web config has following references

May be I have to change these versions to 9 or 10.
First I will try adding Microsoft.ReportViewer.ProcessingObjectModel.dll .
