WebI Report using YTD expression causes MDDataSetBW.GetCellData error

Hello everyone
We are using BusinessObjects XI 3.1 FP 1.8 on OS AIX 5.3 and we are obtaining information from SAP BI 7.0 Patch Level 19. We are using the Integration Kit for SAP Solutions.
We are developing a report in which we are trying to create a Year to Date cumulative ratio in a universe connected to a BI multiprovider, we are using the next expression:
<EXPRESSION>SUM(YTD(@Select(RatiosNúmero de Equipos Instalados)))</EXPRESSION>
When we check the integrity and grammar in the universe is OK.
But if we export the universe and try to use the variable in the WebIntelligence report, we got the next error:
u201CAn error in the database was produced. The database error text is: Error of MDDataSetBW.GetCellData. (WIS 10901)u201D

Hi,
I meant that you should post in the forum the calculation contained in the formula that you cannot see in your universe.
But let's start from the begining since you are new to SAP: Did you generated the universe yourself? If the formula was added in the query after the universe was created then you must refresh your universe (In the Universe designer please select the option "Refresh structure" under the "view" menu) in order to get the newly created formula (I assume we are takling about a calculate figure here) in your universe also.

Rolling month for webi report using Univ based on BEX Query

Dear Experts,
I'm new to OLAP universes.
We have a requirements of having last 12 months rolling for given measure(Key figure) in webi report using Univ based on Bex Query.
We require a calmonth (time dimension) object (restricted for last 12 months) where user can drag and drop on column section of cross-tab table. User should drag more than one Key figure ( for ex. sales rev and & qty sold) for each month
Could you please provide me the solution to do this?

BEx query has not been created yet. we need to create accordingly and require your help in creating the same.
Regarding reporting requirements, User wants to have adhoc reporting with rolling months ( 12 months or 6 months) functionality. Users want to link any KF to this rolling months dimension.
If we can't have this, what is the alternative that we can propose to user.

Create a Webi report using QAAWS as a data source

Hi Experts,
I am on BO 4.1 SP 3, and using the Webi Rich Client to create a WEBi report using a QAAWS url as a data soruce.
This is the first time I am trying this, so any tips/helpful links are welcome.

We can create webi report with QAAWS.When creating the report on webservices /Personal data providers we'll not get prompt/query filters option .
Are you trying to change source ? Instead create new source and get data.

MDDataSetBW.GetCellData Error

Hello Experts,
I have Universe on Bex Query and when I try to create webI report, I am just selecting 2 dimensions and 1key figure, it's throwing error MDDataSetBW.GetCellData Error.
We are on Business Objects 3.1 Service Pack1. Please advise what can be wrong.

The error is certainly with the BEx query. Check the key figure & the characteristics in the query.
Execute the Bex query 1st in RSRT & ensure it's running fine. Also chk whether u have used any variable (customer exits, etc...) & chk for their correctness.

BO 4.1 WEBI reports are not refreshing and FWB 00032 error while login

Hello All, First, We are not able to refresh our WEBI reports its hanging in between and throwing errors sometimes. Second, while login its giving below error. Account information not recognized: Invalid confidential channel. (FWB 00032) found relevant note : 1737852, but the pre-requisite is met. Issue is intermittent but its resolved now BO application restart. but we need to find out what could be the reason for this. Anyone has got this kind of situation. Regards Munish

Webi report using openDocument URL,the window does not close..

While viewing a Web intelligence report using openDocument URL, the window does not close after clicking on Document -> Close option, and the report remains open.
And if I close the browser, the session of the user in InfoVierw remains opened

Error When Trying to Schedule Webi report using SAP authentication

Hii,
We are trying to Schedule Webi report in CMC for Group of Users using SAP authentication(SSO) ,While Trying this we are geting error Unable to Connect to SAP BW server Incomplete Logon Data ..(IES 10901) .
Authorization done at BI side and Its working properly.Users are able to login into BI Launchpad and View Report as per authorization
Some Webi reports are created using BICS connection and some are created using Universe Design Tool (.UNV) which are migrated from BO 3.1 to BO 4.0
Server Status:
BO server and Client Tools-:BO 4.0 SP6
BW System-7.01

Display PDF file in the Apex query report using HTML Expression

I have PDFs stored in BLOB columns along with FILE_ID column in the database.
I want to display these to the APEX user on the page at runtime.
I have created a SQL Query report page to display FILE_ID column.
I am using HTML Expression property of the FILE_ID column to pull the image from the table using PROC_DISPLAY_DOCUMENT procedure.
I typed folowing code int the HTML Expression text area of the FILE_ID column of the report page :

WEBI Report Use of Variable in Drill Down

Hi,
i am new to BI Webi report just doing some practice exercise from E fashion Universe. Need your help in creating a WEBI report which should show Sales Revenue broken down to half-year level.
For example:
We have Year, when we drill Year 2004, it should not show Quarter infect i want to see 1st Half Year as Q1;Q2 and 2nd Half year as Q3;Q4 for that year.
For this i have created a Variable "Half Year"
=If([Quarter]InList("Q1";"Q2");"1st Half Year"; "2nd Half Year")
Is there anyway i can use this variable so when i drill Year it should Sales Revenue Broken as Half Year

1) Create Half Year object in Universe.
2) You can create custom Hierarchy in Universe like-
Year
Half Year
Quarter
Then you can drill down to Year>>Half Year>>Quarter

Sort function in web report using servlet

Dear all
Please help me this out. I'm doing an online report using servlet. When the report is displayed as a table on the web, is there a way to have a sort function-when you click on the tabs, it will sort the data accordingly.
If I didn't state my question clearly, please let me know.

You could probably do that using Javascript, but it's beyond my competence to even suggest how. Alternatively you could make the tabs behave as buttons that send a "sort me" request to the server, which would send out new, resorted, HTML.
