Hi,
This was one of the good session...
Especially the features such as;
-- TCP/IP connection control with JMS adapters
-- Empty file Handling
-- Set the various Attributes for Mail attachments via dynamic configuration (intially only subject line was possible)
-- Message Prioritization
-- single IDOC Ack for IDOC Packaging
-- IDOC packaging
-- and many more........................
Even the future indicatioon of IDOC J2EE based adapter will provide new direction to the existion IDOC related scenarios..
One thing that was changed in IDOC packaging is to control it via Sender Communication channel...intially we were doing it either via ECC system or with t-code "idxpw"
Its almost in same way...but from J2EE based adapter perceptive IDOC packaging will be available with Java stack...and will no need to depend only ABAp stack for this feature.
Thanks
Swarup

    Hi Denis,
Thank you for taking your time to answer my concerns. However, I have tried running modifyOrRemoveProducts.sh from the install location but I did not get modify option to choose like you get in Windows. It just lists the installed products and add-ons and allows me to choose any one of those, if I select any of the BI Platform Server base components it directly takes me to the un-installation step. I ran the script just to show whats happening at my server for you to show.
Based on the product I select and once I click on continue then it will execute the following setupexe command which ultimately take me to the un-install step.
I am not sure which crucial step I am missing here?
    Thanks in advance,

  • SAP Knowledge Acceleration

    Hi experts,
I downloaded from SAP partners website some files SAP Knowledge Acceleration.
When i open them, sometimes the file asks me the following:
Click Next to continue with the course, or select an activity from the list.
When i click on an activity, i got the following error message:
The bookpage file could not be found!
Does someone faced it before? How can I solve it?
    Thanks.

If you have a configurable product in R/3 system and you want to download the configuration in CRM you have to create a KB and its Runtime version. You can download the KB to CRM via MW with the help of the adaptor object SCE. Configration will come to CRM and stores it in IPC so you need to have up and runnign IPC in order to see the configuration of a product in CRM.
Knowledgebase - Related R/3 transactions are CU31/CU34 etc...
    How to create a KB:
Use transaction CU31 to create the knowledge base.
    - Select a name for the knowledge base object, for example the
    material number, and choose ENTER.
    - Select a description and set the status to 'Release'.
    - Select 'Profile' to go to the knowledge base profile.
    - Select a name and a description again.
    - Save the knowledge base.
    - Use transaction CU34 to create the runtime version.
    - Enter the knowledge base and assign a version number, for example 1.
    - Fill the 'Status', 'Plant' and 'BOM application' fields.
    - Then choose 'Generate & save'.
    - Use transaction CU36 to export the knowledge base.
    - Fill the 'Knowledge base object' and 'Runtime version' fields with
the data to be exported. Then choose ENTER.
    - On the next screen, choose 'Download'
    - Choose ENTER to confirm any dialog boxes that may appear.

    Hi,
Good question. No, we will not move the content of the OTN forum to the Support Community Forum is the short answer.
Just to be clear, the OTN forum for WCI will remain in place and is not being replaced by the Support Community Forum. The Support Community Forum is a supplemental forum which you are welcome to use as you desire.
The main difference between the two forums is that the Support Community Forum is discretely monitored by the Technical Support team for WCI. We are the owners and the monitors of the Support Community Forum and we have set up monitoring tasks to ensure that posted questions are acknowledged and responded to by support as soon as possible. Conversely, while we occasionally participate in discussions on the OTN forum, that participation is much more informal.

  • Is there any way to get mouse scrollwheel acceleration? Very handy...

What I want to get is a similar effect to this windows autohotkey script:
    ; Accelerated Scrolling  By BoffinbraiN
    ; V1.3
    ; By BoffinbraiN
; For full details, and to get updates and support, visit the forum thread at:
    Details:
    What is accelerated scrolling?
Normally, when scrolling using the mouse wheel, the number of lines scrolled per notch or 'tick' of the wheel is constant. With accelerated scrolling, the faster you turn the wheel, the more lines you will scroll per tick. Therefore, if you turn the wheel slowly over 5 ticks, you may scroll 30 lines (default 6 lines per tick on Windows), but flicking the wheel very fast over the same five ticks may scroll 50 or 100 lines, depending on your speed.
    How does it work?
Normally, one tick of the scroll wheel sends a single key signal to the application. This script works by sending extra key signals when you scroll quickly.
    Why should I try it?
I think most people would benefit from using accelerated scrolling. On a daily basis, I see friends and colleagues attempting to scroll a large web page or a long list using the mouse wheel, and they flick the wheel very quickly, many, many times. Not only is that frustratingly slow, but it may contribute to Repetitive Stain Injury if done often enough.
Accelerated scrolling is very intuitive because it's obvious that slow scrolling means the user is reading line-by-line, while fast scrolling means the user is trying to traverse a long distance.
It's clearly not available on most desktop control panels. Maybe it can be done in X config files?
    Thanks!

I am bothering with this for quite some time. I have a cheap Logitech mouse and in firefox i can adjust setting but not globally. In KDE system settings there is this option but it doesn't work due to some bug.
I would also suggest you the same as did tell you thisoldman but i had some issues with imwheel - probably because of my limited knowledge or something. In imwheel i could configure it to scroll, let's say, 6 lines but then i had problem with scrolling unfocused windows. It just didn't worked anymore if i ran imwheel. The second pain in the ass was annoyance in libreoffice where wehen i would scroll the text the blinking cursor would also move with the scrolling and all the highlighted text would "dehighlight".
So, if you are not bothered with this then just use imwheel.

  • How do I disable hardware acceleration? (This option from preferences menu not works on Linux)

I want to disable hardware accelaration because it freezes my pc at startup.
I am convinced that HA causes this problem.
My OS is Crunchbang (http://crunchbang.org/about/) .
My pc is a pentium 4, nvidia 5200 gpu, nouveau drivers.
I ask for help at MozillaZIne Forum (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2767265) and at Crunchbang forum.
I disable HA in firefox (preferences and about:config) without result.
In FireFox General Options "Use hardware accelaration when available" is disabled.
In about: config gfx.content.azure.enabled is false and gfx.direct2d.disabled (user set) is true.
    Also xorg.conf doesn't help me.
In xorg.conf (configuration file of Nouveau GPU driver) hardware accelaration is disabled.
The only solution is to disable nouveau hardware accelaration editing the boot menu (kernel boot parameter : nouveau.noaccel=1) and firefox works.
But HA is necessary for other applications like OpenOffice.
If HA is disabled menus, buttons and other UI components do not show properly

    Hello,
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
    * [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
    * [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
    Thank you.

  • Premiere CC 2014: Message on loading project from older version: This project was last used with Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration (CUDA)...

After installing Adobe CC 2014 I have each time a message when loading an old Adobe pro project. Message:This project was last used with Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration (CUDA), which is either not available or not certified on this system. Mercury Playback software will be used. I have very recent HP Zbook 15 with a NVIDIA Quadro K2100M. At webinar today it was explained how to solve this, but sound was not understandable at my machine at that moment. Help? What need I to do.

Problem is solved since yesterday via Adobe helpdesk. It appeared that the newest driver for the NVIDIA were note present. So after downloading the new drivers it work. But I think Adobe should mention those issues when they launch new versions of Adobe CC like in June.

  • Wayland (+Gnome 3.14) mouse speed/acceleration

    Good evening dear archlinux community!
Just recently I updated to gnome 3.14 and started using it with wayland. So far it runs pretty smooth and stable, which is nice, but I got issues with mouse speed and/or acceleration.
I'm using a pretty old Razer Deathadder (the 1800dpi version) and razercfg (more precisely razerd) to set its dpi to 900.
Back in gnome 3.12 it worked just perfect if I set the mouse speed to the middle and disabled acceration. It felt like the "raw input"-like speed from windows.
But now razercfg doesn't seem to work with wayland, which is understandable, but f*cks up my muscle-memory.
(By the way: having razerd enabled while running gnome on wayland makes wayland crash at the moment razerd tries to switch dpi. So the mouse runs at 1800 dpi)
    tl;dr
So my question is: is there any way to force a kind of "raw input" on my mouse speed on gnome+wayland? Like disabling or bypassing the gnome mouse settings or reducing mouse dpi in wayland?
Setting the mouse speed to the lowest doesn't do the trick. It still feels too fast or accelerated.
    Have a nice weekend
    /edit
If it isn't possible I'm open for suggestions for a new mouse. Requisites are: perfect Linux support, manual dpi-switching, good ergonomy for quite large hands, 4+ Buttons, 80€ max. And please no Logitech mice...

Finally, I am running gnome 3.14 with waland on my btrfs-ssd-pimped laptop. Quite cute.
The major issue is the touchpad's speed. It is so nervous. Acceleration is ... massive. Sensitivity of clicks is nearly unusable. It seems as thinking"will click soon" already is a click. I tried to tweak the touchpad settings in gnome-settings, but tumbled into the dialog and accidentally turned the touchpad off.
I found out there is no option for acceleration and sensitivity.
    I read about wayland/gnome-settings-daemon:
Launches mousetweaks and gsd-locate-pointer as required and applies settings to input devices (mouse and touchpad). Under Wayland, the mouse accessibility features and the locate pointer need to be implemented in the compositor, and the settings naturally belong there as well.
And about wayland/libinput touchpad speed settings
The code we currently have in libinput is pretty much 1:1 what's used in the X server. The X server sports a lot more configuration options, but what we have in libinput 0.4.0 is essentially what the default acceleration settings are in X. Armed with the knowledge that any #define is a potential knob for configuration I went to investigate. There are two defines that are labelled as adjustible parameters:
        DEFAULT_THRESHOLD, set to 0.4
        DEFAULT_ACCELERATION, set to 2.0
But what do they mean, exactly? And what exactly does a value of 0.4 represent?
Right now, I guess one needs to change the paramters in the code of libinput.

  • N80 INTERNET EDITION, SMS ACCELERATOR n VPN

Hey can anybody tell me if the SMS Accelerator comes pre-installed on N80 I.E since there is no mention of it on the support/software pages. My N80 I.E's firmware version is 4.0632.0.38 ( latest as per my limited knowledge ). Also on the N80 I.E support pages, it does not mention about VPN Client software as it does on the regular N80 page. Can somebody explain this to me?

Why do they install Gizmo when it is nearly impossible to get the darn thing working!
Fring seems the easiest at the moment though.

  • Please speed up Lightroom using OpenCL/GPU acceleration and/or AVX support!

    Hello,
for those, who don't look at the feature request site:
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/please_speed_up_lightroom_using_open cl_gup_acceleration_and_or_avx_support
    Hello,
I enjoy using LR. But there is still one thing that lacks: Performance, especially in the Develop Module and Zooming...
So please speed up LR using:
    - OpenCL/GPU acceleration. Capture One pro 6 is doing this. If they can do this, Adobe can also!
    - AVX support: Nik Software is using this. Processes got 1,5 to 2,6 times faster than before. So again... if Nik Software is capable of implementing this, Adobe should be able as well!
So, I am no expert, but from what I have read I think it is possible for Adobe.
Would appreciate to hear from other people who have more inside knowledge if this is possible for LR!
    Thanks, Adobe for hearing us.
    Christoph

    Hello Keith,
    thanks for the info!
It well might be that OpenCL causes some problems. On the other side sometimes I don't know how good a forum is to measure the problems.
Remember when a new LR Release comes out and the forum is flooded mit posts about the problems? If you just read alle the posts in the LR forum you could come to the conclusion that the new LR is completely unuseable. But in reality I never had a problem upgrading to the new LR version...
I understand your point and it might really by to early to implement this technology in LR.
But I still hope for the other direction: AVX .
I just think that we have the hardware possibilities to improve speed and LR should take advantage of this.
    Kind regards,
    Christoph

  • Finaly. How to enable hardware acceleration for X-

After much discussion on this form and with my friends, I've finally cracked hardware acceleration for X-FI on Vista. It works by using Alchemy on a large scale and gives acceleration for everything you listen to. The breakthrough finally came through thanx to help and info I received from alexs3ds on this thread?http://forums.creative.com/creativel...message.id=645?It started as an emulation concept discussion and evolved in to this. It gives all your 3D audio effects and EAX in games without game by game transmutation and I have noticed a large quality and volume enhancement in normal music and film audio because even that is now accelerated. Here's a step by step guide on how to do it.[color="#ff0033">?[color="#3366ff">Download Alchemy and install. Get it here .[color="#3366ff">http://preview.creativelabs.com/alchemy/default.aspx[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Open a?window in explorer and go to [color="#3333ff">Windows\System32.[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Locate the file dsound.dll and right click on it then select properties.[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Click the security tab then click advanced.[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">In the advanced security panel?that opens up, click the owner tab then edit.[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Use this to set your user account name as owner. Use the other users and groups button if you can't see your account name select your user account name using the select users pane and add it. Make sure your user account name is set as owner.[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Next you want to change permissions in the advanced security panel so you would click the permissions tab, click edit, on the panel that pops up click add and add your user account name. On permission entry panel, click full control under the allow line. Then ok everything and close every thing down till your back at the explorer.[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Now rename dsound.dll to something like dsound.dll.bak. ( changing owner and permissions allows you to do this ).[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Open up another explorer window and navigate to the Alchemy directory ie C:\program files\alchemy, highlight the dsound.dll file and the dsound.ini file and copy them.[color="#3366ff">?[color="#3366ff">Paste them into the system32 folder and that's it. Reboot your computer and you are now using hardware accelerated sound. ?[color="#ff0033">IMPORTANT NOTES YOU MUST KNOW[color="#ff0033">?This only supports 6-Bit samples. You can't use 24-Bit audio samples. You can however reverse the process and regain support. The Alchemy drivers can cause a bit of choppy sound now and then if you don't configure them right. See the Alchemy advanced FAQ for info. Plus, remember they are Beta. You can however update your system as and when alchemy updates. It's not known if every game will work with EAX or 3Dsound with this. To my knowledge?all, if not?most do.You can still edit and add game settings to the dsound.ini file. For help and info in getting the best quality out of your X-FI and a list of what XP software you can install off your driver disk that came with your card refer to this thread. http://forums.creative.com/creativel...essage.id=6029?Enjoy. Edit:- IMPORTANT UPDATE?This will only work if your card is set in game mode. It will not work properly in any other mode. See my post further down this thread for more details. Also important is that I have only been able to test this on Vista 32 ultimate. It is untested in any other version of Vista. Perhaps people who have it running on other versions of Vista could post this info and help put together a list. ?

It does work, however I discovered more?important conditions. You MUST have your audio card in game mode BEFORE you do this. The reason is that the alchemy file passes the audio to OpenAL in game mode only. IF YOU TRY TO RUN GAMES IN ANY OTHER MODE YOUR SYSTEM WILL CRASH WITH BSD. IF YOU TRY TO RUN MEDIA PLAYER IT WILL HANG. IF YOU RUN DIRECTX DIAGNOSTIC YOUR SYSTEM WILL CRASH WITH BSD. YOUR?CARD MUST BE IN GAME MODE. IF YOU TRY TO CHANGE TO GAME MODE AFTER THE SWITCH, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO AS THE AUDIO PANEL WON'T LOAD. DO IT BEFORE YOU SWITCH. As for windows replacing files after reboot, that aint happening to me. I've looked everywhere and can't find any sign of?were replacement files would come form either. Not that I'm saying it isn't happening, Vista is supposed to have a security system that stops you from replacing core system files. It just ain't happening in my system. However, I do have various system hacks in place and one of them may be stopping this. Need to look in to this. Fact:- I'm sitting with this in system now ( got no intentions of going back cause the audio's great ). I've tested 0 up-to date games and all give EAX etc. Without transmutation. Audio sounds amazing compared to what it was before and video audio finely plays in sync ( hurray). Maybay I should add a warning to this mod that you must only try it if you know what you are?doing.BTW in case this has anything to do with it, my system is :-
    Asus?am2 with nforce 4, amd am2 x2 dual core cpu, 2 gig dual channel ddr2 800, oem?SB X-FI and Vista 32 ultimate.

  • X-Fi Fatal1ty PCI/-Express - All Hardware Acceleration Crashing, Significant R

    Hello,
I've made a few posts on the forums recently about various topics to help me isolate the issue I am having. At this point, using the latest stable drivers for either a PCI or PCI-E X-Fi Fatalty, any hardware acceleration of sounds is causing my system to bluescreen, freeze or crash the application. Some games give me no option of not using hardware acceleration (ie. Rainbow6 Vegas 2), resorting in my having to change my Sound Acceleration down to Emulation Only. This setting greatly eases off on the sound latency buffers, resulting in sounds that are delayed an entire second. The good news is no crashes and sounds actually sound correct.
A few things to note about my setup,
) I am an extreme computer professional, programmer and developer. My Windows XP SP2 installation is incredibly streamlined; I only have 6 services running and all non-essential drivers removed, resulting in only 69MiB commit charge at startup across processes and ~950 threads. Suffice to say, my system is baby-cheek clean, and I aim to keep it that way.
    2) I have been using this setup for many years now. I have been using NVIDIA video cards for the past 5+ years, currently I have a GTX280, and all of them have behaved perfectly with my streamlined setup. I even unregister every single one of NVIDIA's DLLs and stop all of their services, and the 3D Settings Per Application and Color Control Features still all work. Suffice to say, NVIDIA's drivers, although a trite on the large side, are written well enough to keep drivers away from OS services (as it should be).
    3) My other hardware is not at fault. I have tested the X-Fis against multiple PSUs, different video cards, multiple fresh installations of Windows and more. I don't use utilities to clean my drivers; I do it by hand. I know exactly what's on my system and what I want removed. Though it may be egotistical to state, I'm pretty much knowledgable of every component my system has running.
    4) As a result of this knowledge and my desire to keep my system clean, I ONLY HAVE INSTALLED the drivers necessary for my X-Fis to work. I DID install Creative Audio Console, but the application seems to have too many dependencies on OS Services, since it never runs, either reporting that my audio device cannot be found, or the application simply does nothing and a bogus error is written to the event log. I have enabled DCOM to make sure it wasn't dependent on that, and it still does not work. To summarize, yes, I have tried enabling every service I could find that it might depend on, and none worked. Creative Audio Console is, to me, a piece of ill-written software. In comparison to NVIDIA's excellent control panel which works no matter how much stuff I remove, Creative's Audio Console fails.
I do not have the Creative Audio Licensing Engine, I do not have the Creative Audio Control Panel, I do not have the Creative Labs Audio Engine Service, I do not have CMSS or any other OS-level services that normally get installed. Remember people, drivers are NOT TO BE DEPENDENT on OS services; they are protocols defining to the OS how to communicate with the hardware. Any necessity of additional "service" software is way past the acceptable standards of drivers.
    5) That being said, I had no issues with stability using older drivers on my PCI X-Fi Fatalty cards. These drivers were dated early 2007, and did not install all of the X-Fi Effects, Utility Effects, 20x Effects, etc. drivers. Mind you I preferred these drivers since they were much simpler to track, as they only had a few .sys files.
As it stands, I want to use my PCI-Express X-Fi Fatalty, but I want to use it without all of Creative's bloat. I want streamlined, driver-only installation that does not NEED external applications to reinforce its stability. Creative, IS THAT POSSIBLE? Can someone, by definition of the Windows Driver Management signature system, just use your drivers alone for stable gaming? If not, you're violating standards and should never have received WDM cert. on any drivers. I highly recommend you do NOT spit back, saying that for proper functionality, performance, stability, etc. you must install all of Creative's supplemental software. These requires are in violation of the ethics behind software drivers and receiving Digital Signature Certification from Microsoft on your drivers.

    Infinity7,
I do not want to sound arrogant, but the list of options you provided me with is the stereotypical laundry list of system configuration information for any piece of hardware. I'll address everything though.
) No, I'm not using an NVIDIA chipset. I'm using an ASuS Maximus Extreme, just like you said, which uses the X38 chipset.
    2) I'm using Windows XP 32-bit, SP2. I have 2 GiB of memory and do NOT have PAE enabled.
    2) I don't have onboard sound; our motherboard has a PCI-E sound card which I do not have installed.
    3) I don't have any spyware. I don't browse the web on my system. I know every program running and have no rootkits. Nothing is hiding from me.
    4) I don't use antivirus programs. I've been on the internet for 5+ years now and have never needed an antivirus program, since I know when I have a virus and I remove it manually.
    5) I have the latest version of DirectX, June 2008 Redistritutable. Note that most of the post DX 9.0c revisions are meant for D3D, and have nothing to do with DSound.
    6) I've tried every PCI-E slot I have, including both PCI-E x slots and both PCI-E x6 slots. The card is currently in one of my x6 slots.
    7) Any 998+ system is going to have IRQ sharing. Between ACPI BIOSes (more IRQs), Windows XP and drivers, IRQs are rarely in conflict, aside from occasional USB device IRQ sharing. To answer your question, yes, currently both my video card and sound card are sharing IRQ 6. I have done enough work to isolate that IRQ sharing is NOT the issue, though, especially through my testing of the PCI card and the PCI-E card experiencing the same issue.
    8) The output sampling rate of games is not always configurable, and never makes a difference. The X-Fi always upsamples everything it gets as it is, though I guess there is some validity to the sampling rates that are streamed into the buffers.
Now, to address the rest of your suggestions I say read my post. I specify that changing acceleration to emulation results in perfect stability and sounds that sound correct, however the relaxed latency results in sounds? that are easily delayed by second. This is unacceptable for gaming, obviously.
As for your ordering of driver installation, it really is through lack of knowledge that people state what order drivers must be installed in. Even NVIDIA's drivers probe for any change through the interfaces they use when the system starts, so any chipset drivers that drastically change the devices in Windows will be detected as changed by other drivers. Be that as it may, I didn't even have the X-Fi in my computer when I installed this latest version of Windows. Only after I had installed everything did I begin to install the Creative Drivers (whilst avoiding all bloatware).
Most importantly, note that I determined when the crashing started occuring with my original PCI version of the card. After I installed the drivers that started including the additional .sys files (X-Fi Effects, 20X effects, etc.) the crashing occured. As far as I know I cannot use older drivers with the PCI-E model, so rolling back to those previous drivers is out of the question.
    Lastly, for my system specs,
Motherboard : ASuS Maximus Extreme X38 Chipset, BIOS 0907
CPU : Intel QX9650 (OCed from 3.0GHZ to 3.6GHZ, stable through Orthos testing)
Memory : (2) GiB Corsair Dominator Sticks, 4-4-4-2
Video : eVGA GeForce GTX280 FTW Edition (PCI-Express)
PSU : Thermaltake Toughpower 200W (backed by UPS)
Sound : Creative X-Fi Fatalty PCI / PCI-Express (tried both independently)
