'webkit2web.exe' stops running.
Hi
I'm using Safari on Win 7. I just updated to the latest version few hours ago. Ever since I did though, every now and then I get the warning that the webkit2web.exe stops working and all the pages refresh and I get signed out of google, youtube, whatever website I'm on. It's happened 3 times now in the past 2 hours. How can I fix it?
I am not a Windows user but I have found several useful links for you here:

When I updated to Photoshop CC from CS6 I started getting the following message when I started PS CC: in a DOS window running cmd.exe it said "eok_lvalue_adust" and a popup message saying "clc.exe has stopped working". I have and AMD ATI HD6770 Graphics card. They have a new driver that is easy to download and install. The link if you have an AMD (ATI Radeon) card is
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64
Be SURE your card is supported and you are downloading the correct 32bit or 64 bit version before installing.
Well it started happening again. Sometimes it does it sometimes it doen't. Most of the time it happens the first time I use CC from a boot. Then it is unpredictable when it might happen again.
Very frustrating! -
How does one get officeclicktorun.exe to stop running?
Since installing Outlook 2013 I noticed that officeclicktorun.exe has been consuming the most CPU of any running app. It takes focus of the machine when I'm in the middle of working on another app which is very annoying.
I understand that it's installed on any machine with an Office 2013 product and automatically set to run. I can't understand why a simply update program would consume so much CPU. Is this a known issue?
I found that there is a scheduled task that was set to run automatically. I turned that off and now the program won't run until I run Outlook. But once I run that, the program takes off and becomes a resource hog.
I went to Office -> Office Account and disabled all updates. The program still runs like crazy. I tried disabling the service but then Outlook won't start. How can I use outlook without an additional app that appears to be a resource
hog?
I got in the habit of using Outlook and then killing that .exe. That doesn't work. The .exe keeps coming back for no known reason. I can disable the service to get it to stop running again but then I have to re-enable the service if I want
to run Outlook again. This is crazy!
I can't believe that a simple method of stopping all automated upgrade activity isn't being provided by Microsoft.Hi,
Officeclicktorun.exe runs as a service named 'Microsoft Office ClickToRun Service' (ClickToRunSvc). It helps manage resource coordination, background streaming, and system integration of Microsoft Office products.
As far as I know, this service is required to run during the use of any Microsoft Office program, so you cannot just stop it permanently.
It shouldn't consume "that" much CPU. Is your Outlook update to date? Try to update it to the latest version and then verify result. Or you might need to
repair your Office 2013 and see if it's due to an improper installation.

Ethan Hua

It's recommended to download and install
Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office

Stop Oracle.exe from running in background?
Hi,
Since I installed Oracle 8i Personal Edition for Win 2000 (SP1), I have seen a great slowdown of my computer. It now takes much longer to start up Windows, longer to open applications and games (UT),.. I check Task Manger and see that Oracle.exe is consuming about 84 MB of my computer memory.
Can someone help me stop Oracle.exe from running like this?
Thanks a lot in advance
Trung.Check Your services and set all related to Oracle to manual startup
If You need Oracle, You will manually start these processes -

Error: OUI.exe Stopped Working 11g R2 32-bit Client on Win 7 64-bit
I am receiving an error "oui.exe stopped working" when running setup.exe to install Oracle 11g R2 (win32_11gR2_client.zip for Win 32-bit) client on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. I never even get as far as the Oracle installation dialog box. I am trying to install 11g R2 32-bit because it is my understanding the 64-bit version of Oracle client is not compatible with Toad for Oracle.
I have read numerous posts on the subject and have tried just about everything I can think of to get around the error. When I run the setup.exe -debug I can see that teh files are unzipped and the installer seems to fail when it hit the section where it tries executing java.exe. Once the dialog box appears with the error message, I am not able to get back to the command window to extract the debug results. I can only see it partially in the background behind the dialog box. When I hit cancel to close the error dialog, the debug window also closes, so no way to get the details of the debug results
I am logged into Win 7 as a member of the Adminstrators group and have verified that the Windows User Access Control (UAC) is turned off. I get the erorr message whether I run as Administrator or not. I have unzipped all the files and folders under the \client directory from the zip file to a folder c:\temp\. So the setup.exe and all folders below it are in the c:\temp directory. I did this because one post suggested an issue with long path names or path names with spaces when executing setup.exe.
Seems like it should not be this difficult. I never had issues in the past installing Oracle client on Windows XP Pro. This is my first attempt at installing under Win 7.
Any help or direction would be much appreciated.
Edited by: user10421280 on Nov 21, 2011 1:27 PMorafad and PavanG,
First let me thank you both for your multiple attempts to help me. I finally figured out what was causing the issue with the Oracle Installer, oui.exe not running properly. Last night I was looking around into the Windows Event Viewer and found an Error entry for oui.exe that pointed to a program directory and .dll in the \\program files\appsense\ directory path. It seems that in addition to the McAfee virus scan, host intrusion, unwanted programs, group policy manager, etc., there is another application installed on the machine that governs what programs can and cannot run. I don't know much about it other than when the program was temporarily suspended, the setup.exe and oui.exe install kicked off fine without the "oui.exe stopped working" error message. It proceeded happily to the Oracle Client installation dialog. All along our IT desktop support was trying to help me with the install and they repeatedly disabled the McAfee programs to no avail, but not the other utilities. It was almost like even they were unaware of this other application running in the background since they never suggested disabling it.
Either way, I'm happy to say that I am now able to successfully launch the Oracle Client installer without issue. I've also learned a little about getting the Oracle 11g Instant client to work with Toad while I worked through the issue with the installer. I could almost get by completely with just using the Instant Client if I didn't have to use SQL*Loader (sqlldr.exe) and tnsping.exe. Any suggestions for getting these two functions to work with the Instant Client would be appreciated. I tried copying the binaries and the message files into the appropriate instant client directories, but windows kept complaining about missing .dll's when I tried executing the commands.
If there is no workaround for getting these functions to work with the Instant Client, and I have to do an Oracle Client install, at least now I can. Do you know if I would need to do the full "Administrator" install to get these functions, or can I do just the "Run Time" install to get sqlldr and tnsping?
Thanks again for your help -
XLreporter scheduled tasks stopped running
Hi Experts,
We are experiencing problems on XLreporter scheduled tasks.
They worked properly with sending emails as daily routine. However for some reason they stopped running in windows Task Scheduler. We can still run the jobs thru manually in XLreporter Organizer with correct result and sucessful logs. In the mean time the service of Task Scheduler is ok for other tasks than XLreporter.
What we can see in Event Viewer is the error message with two other information message below for each run:
Error:
The VB Application identified by the event source logged this Application IXExecutor: Thread ID: 5904 ,Logged: An error occured while Initializing Job
Object variable or With block variable not set
Info:
The VB Application identified by the event source logged this Application IXExecutor: Thread ID: 5904 ,Logged: Before deleting mclsIFDSApp
Info:
The VB Application identified by the event source logged this Application IXExecutor: Thread ID: 5904 ,Logged: IXExecutorProxy - ExecuteJob: Before Exit Sub
The SBO version 8.8 PL14 on windows server 2003 R2 SP2 ,SQL Server 2005
Can you please advise? Many thanks Ryan
Edited by: Ryan Fu on Jun 22, 2011 3:55 AMJust found this one too:
Note 855021
If you want scheduled report jobs in XL Reporter to be executed independently of the logon status of the user who defined the job, you must allow Microsoft Excel to be started by the scheduled job.
1. Choose Run from the Windows Start menu and type dcomcnfg.exe. A window called Component Services appears. Choose Component Services->Computers->My Computer->DCOM Config->Microsoft Excel Application from the list.
2. Right-click on Microsoft Excel and choose Properties. Choose the Security tab.
3. Choose Customize under Access Permissions and choose Edit...
4. Choose Add... and choose Users and/or User Groups that require access to Excel. Then choose OK.
5. Repeat the procedure for Customize under Launch Permissions.
6. Choose the Identity tab.
Choose This User.
Choose a user that is a member of the administrator group from the browse button and enter password.
This user will be the one that is given access to Microsoft Excel when executing scheduled jobs. Normally this would be the Administrator user. -
Installing Patch 9.2.0.5: Weird "Stop Running Services" Screen
Hi to all.
I found this issue in several places, including this forum, but I never saw a working proposal for a satisfying solution. Installing Oracle Patch 9.2.0.5 over a 9.2.0.1-Installation on XP Pro, I was confronted with a "Stop Running Services" screen, that listed ALL running Windows Services, even the most basic ones, which are required for a working OS and cannot/should not be stopped. Of course I had stopped the Oracle listener and instance services (including the recovery service, omtsreco.exe).
I found using TASKLIST.EXE or LISTDLLS.EXE, that many Oracle DLLs like ORAPLS9.DLL were used by a command "svchost -k netsvcs". But I could not find out, where and for what reason this command is launched and how I can prevent this launching without hazarding the system. The string "netsvcs" can not be found in the registry, for instance.
At least, somehow I managed to do the job, but I cannot exactly recall all the steps I took! At the "Stop Running Services" screen I chose "Abort current component and continue installation", and after install finished (it said something like "install finished with errors" or that like), I was left with a non-functioning Oracle client. Whopee! It told me "Bad function entry point" when I tried to start SQL*Plus. Desperately, I started the patch installation a second time. THIS time I installed OUI 10.1.0.2 as a first step (which I did NOT during the first round), and then started patch install. Strangely, this time I was presented another flow of dialogs (Sorry, but I missed to make notes about the exact titles and the dialog flow), which took MUCH MUCH longer ("Analyzing Dependencies" for example, took 1.5 hours to complete), and I really do not know, how or whether I was confronted with a "Stop Running Services" issue), but after all I really managed to complete the second try successfully, and the client functions worked again (SQL*Plus reported the correct version, 9.2.0.5).
Before I'm driven through this hell again (I have to patch several workstations running 9.2.0.1), I'd like to know,
- Whether the issue has been solved, that the "Stop Running Services Screen" lists
most basic services like "Event Manager". Could it have been caused by using the
wrong OUI version or under what circumstances will it appear?
- Secondly, what is this mysterious "svchost -k netsvcs" (netsvcs = NETSerViCeS ?)
locking many of the DLL files in the Oracle "BIN" folder. It is definitely NOT
one of the Oracle listener or instance services (all of which start with "Oracle").
How can this service be disabled or be prevented from loading the Oracle DLLs?
Sorry for the long story and partially unclear details, since I do not recall all of the long installation session. Any input is welcome.
WernerOk, "netsvcs" CAN be found in the registry, but I used FINDSTR.EXE to seach a UNICODE .REG file, and of course had no hits. Meanwhile, I learned more about SVCHOST.EXE and it's service groups, one of which is "netsvcs". In HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SvcHost, I found a value and a key named "netsvcs", the value contains this string (abbreviated):
"6to4
AppMgmt
AudioSrv
Browser
CryptSvc
helpsvc
xmlprov
wscsvc
WmdmPmSN".
These are the symbolic names of the services presented to me in the "Stop Running Services" screen! Now it's clear, why this screen appears, since "svchost -k netsvcs" is the process locking the Oracle DLLs.
But the question remains: WHY does "svchost -k netsvcs" need access to Oracle DLLs? Which system or application setting controls whether svchosts tries to load the DLLs?
Still puzzled. Werner. -

2. Custom Number of Server Nodes field value was changed to 2 in configtool
3. NW was successfully started and stopped via SAPMMC console
4. Custom Number of Server Nodes field value was changed to N/A (to get the previous config and since the field does not allow empty values.)
5. As the result the issue above occured (starting/restarting did not help)
Thank you
Unfortunatelly default trace is not updated. Start Up procedure stops very quickly (after about 30 seconds)
Jstart.exe stops after 04 sec elapsed time.

there is another error message in dev_w0:

Basically this means that you've forgotten to set the DBMS_TYPE environment variable in the SAPService<SID> environment.
Set it to DBMS_TYPE=ADA and the problem should be gone.

Erase the datalog file when the exe is running for the first time.
Hi Freinds,
I've a req something like this...
Please assist me so that i could hit the right target.
A datalog.txt file would be appended with the data everytime i run the exe.
However if i close (be specific not stop) the entire exe
And run the exe after opening it for the first time, it should ask me wehther to delete or append the existing datalog file.
In short whenever running the exe for the first time it should ask the user whether to delete the existing datalog.txt or append the old one.
THis is my req please help me...
Cheers,
SuneelYou can use an uninitialized shift register, that you wire with a TRUE on the right side. Its output on the left will only be false the first time the VI is run and true for subsequent runs.
Still, an exe should always run. Design it as as a proper state machine with an idle state when you don't what it to perform anything specific.

Good Bye .....systemid 562 (PC with Windows NT)
May I ask why you are posting your question in 'SAP on Unix' forum?
Are you aware of the differences between Unix and Windows?
Besides that, are you sure that your PC with Windows NT has sufficient resources for SAP?
That being said:
dev_disp is showing that disp+work.exe stopped because there were no more work processes.
So your task will be to find out why these died.
Have a look into the trace files dev_w0, dev_w1, and so on.
(And no, please do not post all of them here.)
