    Hi,
    Try to increase chunk size once and check you have issue still persist or not.
    set JAVA_PROPERTIES=%JAVA_PROPERTIES% -Dweblogic.Chunksize=8192 -Dweblogic.utils.io.chunkpoolsize=8192

  • WebLogic 10.3 Workshop - Downloading tutorial examples give errors

    Hi,
    I'm trying to go through the Workshop tutorials. The tutorials that are using examples to be downloaded from Oracle site giving me errors. For example, here are the steps:
    - Tutorial: Struts
    - From the AppXplorer view, click New Example Web Project. Expand Struts and choose Workshop Struts Tour. Click Next. - so far so good
    - In the New Web Project dialog, click Finish. - once I click finish I get the following error dialog:
    Failed to download the example project from Oracle site.
    sun.security.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed:
    sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
    PKIX path building failed:
    sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
    unable to find valid certification path to requested target.
    I'm guessing it has something to do with setting up Java Security Manager inside (or outside) Eclipse. I'll appreciate any help.
    Thanks,
    Yuval

    Any reason why you are using Workshop 10.3 instead of Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse 11g? It likely supports the features you want and is the strategic Eclipse tool. The latest release just came out last week, see:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/enterprise-pack-for-eclipse/index.html
    Some features are only in Workshop 10.3, but that usually only affects a subset of BEA customers that used features deprecated once the Oracle acquisition became complete.

  • Download excel file in Weblogic 6.1

              Hi,
              Hope this is an easy question and I can get the answer quick.
              In WLS5.1, we set the weblogic.httpd.mimetype.application/msexcel for file extensions
              .xls and .csv so that user will be able to download the file from their browser.
              When we migrate to WLS6.1, I added the following configuration to web.xml:
              <mime-mapping>
              <extension>xls,csv</extension>
              <mime-type>application/msexcel</mime-type>
              </mime-mapping>
              However, whenever the user requests a download and a .csv file is dynamically
              generated, they will never been given the download window any more. Instead, the
              .csv is opened inside the browser.
              Our code to point to the file is:
              response.sendRedirect("***.csv")
              Could anybody tell me what's wrong? The same code worked perfectly in WLS5.1.
              Thanks,

    Are you sure that is the only difference, and not (perhaps) a difference on
              the client? If so, you need to compare the URL and response headers because
              the answer will be in one of those (and it sounds like the URL will be the
              same, so it must be a different header!).

  • Where is the download for Oracle Weblogic Portal and current documentation?

    The web page for Oracle Weblogic Portal has a download link, but nothing happens when I click it:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic-portal/downloads/index.html
    I've downloaded the documentation
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic-portal/documentation/index.html
    which is supposed to be for version 10.3, but the dates on the documents are all from 2008. I don't see anything indicating support for JSR 286 in those documents.
    Are there more up-to-date documents for the latest version of Oracle WL Portal?
    Thanks.
    Dean

    Hi Dean
    Looks like that site is down. On Firefox, I checked in Error Console window and it shows some java script error like acceptAgreement is not found etc. This link did worked earlier. I hope they fix it asap. Same problem with IE browser also (java script error).
    Coming to documentation, based on your link, I hope you are using 10.3.2 docs. I clicked on View Library and then select Portlet Development -> Java Portlets link and got this link: This link does cover JSR 286 stuff. For more indepth JSR 286, you can google and get more details.

  • Where to download Weblogic for linux 64

    Hi,
    Can you please provide me with the link to download Weblogic for linux 64.
    Regards

    Hi ebitar,
    afaik, there is no version of WebLogic 10.3 that is just for 64-bit Linux. You would need to install a 64-bit JVM and then download the generic weblogic installer from http://download.oracle.com/otn/bea/weblogic/server103/server103_generic.jar (I.e. the link located under the HP column of the download page).
    Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

  • Memory leak in weblogic 6.0 sp2 oracle 8.1.7 thin driver

    Hi,
         I have a simple client that opens a database connection, selects from
    a table containing five rows of data (with four columns in each row)
    and then closes all connections. On running this in a loop, I get the
    following error after some time:
    <Nov 28, 2001 5:57:40 PM GMT+06:00> <Error> <Adapter>
    <OutOfMemoryError in
    Adapter
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

    <Nov 28, 2001 5:57:40 PM GMT+06:00> <Error> <Kernel> <ExecuteRequest
    failed
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
    I am running with a heap size of 64 Mb. The java command that runs
    the client is:
    java -ms64m -mx64m -cp .:/opt/bea/wlserver6.0/lib/weblogic.jar
    -Djava.naming.f
    actory.initial=weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
    -Djava.naming.provider.url=
    t3://garlic:7001 -verbose:gc Test
    The following is the client code that opens the db connection and does
    the select:
    import java.util.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    import javax.naming.*;
    import javax.sql.*;
    public class Test {
    private static final String strQuery = "SELECT * from tblPromotion";

    Repost in JDBC section ... very serious issue but it may be due to Oracle or
    to WL ... does it happen if you test inside WL itself?
    How many iterations does it take to blow? How long? Does changing to a
    different driver (maybe Cloudscape) have the same result?

    Hi,
    I have a simple client that opens a database connection, selects from
    a table containing five rows of data (with four columns in each row)
    and then closes all connections. On running this in a loop, I get the
    following error after some time:
    <Nov 28, 2001 5:57:40 PM GMT+06:00> <Error> <Adapter>
    <OutOfMemoryError in
    Adapter
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
    <<no stack trace available>>
    >
    <Nov 28, 2001 5:57:40 PM GMT+06:00> <Error> <Kernel> <ExecuteRequest
    failed
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
    I am running with a heap size of 64 Mb. The java command that runs
    the client is:
    java -ms64m -mx64m -cp .:/opt/bea/wlserver6.0/lib/weblogic.jar
    -Djava.naming.f
    actory.initial=weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
    -Djava.naming.provider.url=
    t3://garlic:7001 -verbose:gc Test
    The following is the client code that opens the db connection and does
    the select:
    import java.util.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    import javax.naming.*;
    import javax.sql.*;
    public class Test {
    private static final String strQuery = "SELECT * from tblPromotion";
    public static void main(String argv[])
    throws Exception
    String ctxFactory = System.getProperty
    ("java.naming.factory.initial");
    String providerUrl = System.getProperty
    ("java.naming.provider.url");
    Properties jndiEnv = System.getProperties ();
    System.out.println ("ctxFactory : " + ctxFactory);
    System.out.println ("ProviderURL : " + providerUrl);
    Context ctx = new InitialContext (jndiEnv);
    for (int i=0; i <1000000; i++)
    System.out.println("Running query for the "+i+" time");
    Connection con = null;
    Statement stmnt = null;
    ResultSet rs = null;
    try
    DataSource ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup
    (System.getProperty("eaMDataStore", "jdbc/eaMarket"));
    con = ds.getConnection ();
    stmnt = con.createStatement();
    rs = stmnt.executeQuery(strQuery);
    while (rs.next ())
    //System.out.print(".");
    //System.out.println(".");
    ds = null;
    catch (java.sql.SQLException sqle)
    System.out.println("SQL Exception : "+sqle.getMessage());
    finally
    try {
    rs.close ();
    rs = null;
    //System.out.println("closed result set");
    } catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println("Exception closing result set");
    try {
    stmnt.close ();
    stmnt = null;
    //System.out.println("closed statement");
    } catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println("Exception closing result set");
    try {
    con.close();
    con = null;
    //System.out.println("closed connection");
    } catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println("Exception closing connection");
    I am using the Oracle 8.1.7 thin driver. Please let me know if this
    memory leak is a known issue or if its something I am doing.
    thanks,

  • Problems starting WebLogic server in Jdeveloper 11.1.2.1.0

    I'm having an issue converting an application that was developed to run under OAS to use WebLogic Server. I downloaded Jdeveloper 11.1.2.1.0, configured the integrated server and the default domain, and then I try to start the server. The server starts but during the startup process I receive this exception:
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.w3c.dom.Element.getTextContent()Ljava/lang/String;
         at oracle.security.audit.config.XMLContext.getTextContent(XMLContext.java:136)
         at oracle.security.audit.config.Attribute.<init>(Attribute.java:194)
         at oracle.security.audit.config.CommonAttributes.<init>(CommonAttributes.java:63)
         at oracle.security.audit.config.EventDefinitionList.<init>(EventDefinitionList.java:122)
         at oracle.security.audit.config.AuditConfig.readGenericEvents(AuditConfig.java:612)
         at oracle.security.audit.config.AuditConfig.loadEvents(AuditConfig.java:1071)
         at oracle.security.audit.Auditor.<init>(Auditor.java:214)
    This then affects the deployment and execution of the web app. Does anyone have any advice or a cure for this problem? We have the org.w3c.dom.Element class in the xmlparserv2.jar file that we have external to Jdev but all those seem to be earlier than Java 1.5, because they don't have the getTextContent() method.
    Thanks,
    Sharon

    Which operating system you are running on?Windows 7
    Have you tired to move the user directory to a path without spaces?No spaces in any paths that I can see.
    Look for the system11.1.1.xxxx folder and remove or rename it. Jdev created the folder from scratch next time you start.Done that, multiple times (folder is system11.1.2.1.38.60.81). When we first started seeing this error, that was the advice that many people gave in various discussion groups. We were working in an older version of Jdeveloper at that time. So then I downloaded the latest Jdev installation from the Oracle download site, thinking that maybe the older version had an older JDK embedded. I've installed twice now, once with using the embedded Sun JDK of 1.6.0_24 and once using our own separately downloaded version of 1.6.0_24 and I get the error in either case.
    You are correct that it is probably an installation problem, but I have no idea what it could be.
