WebLogic 10 : Unable to view JMS message

When I navigate to from weblogic admin console to
Services->Messaging->JMS Modules->My queue->Monitoring tab I see count as 1 one High Messages but
When I check the queue and click on Show messages button the resulting messages grid is empty.
Why can't I view the message??

The high messages count shows statistics for what has happened not the current messages in the queue.
When you have a message current count you can probably view it (when you are fast enough).
Note that messages once they are consumed are no longer in the queue.

  • View JMS messages wls 10.3

    Hello
I m trying to view/delete jms messages in a queue in WLS 10.3. As Administrator user I m able to view/delete the messages but when logged as an user of Monitors group I m not even able to view the messages.
Is there any other user group apart from Administrator which can view messages in WLS 10.3. Please help
    Thanks
    Kranthi

    Tom,
You are correct, I m able to view messages as Monitors group ID even from Hermes.
To check from console I had to update the weblogic.management.runtime.JMSDestinationRuntimeMBean security.
Here the steps I got from support to enable operations on JMSDestinationruntime mbean:
    1.     In the left pane, select Security Realm.
    2.     Select “myrealm”.
    3.     In “Configuration” tab, check “Use Authorization Providers to Protect JMX Access”, click save and then activate changes.
    4.     Restart the server.
    5.     In the left pane, select Security Realm.
    6.     Select “myrealm”.
    7.     Go to “Users and Groups”.
    8.     In users, create a new user say “queueuser”, add it to group “Monitors”
    9.     Adding it to group “Monitors”:
    a.     Select “myrealm”.
    b.     Select “Users and Groups”.
    c.     Click on user name, in right pane select “Groups”.
    d.     From Parent Groups, select monitors, click arrow pointing right side.
    10.     Go to “Roles and Policies” - > Realm Policies
    11.     In Policy table, select “JMX Policy Editor”.
    12.     Select “Global Scope”, click next.
    13.     From MBean Types, select “weblogic.management.runtime”
    14.     Select “JMSDestinationRuntimeMBean”, click next.
    15.     In Attributes and Operations, select “Operations: Permission to Invoke”.
    16.     Click on “Create Policy” button and save
    17.     Click on “Add Condition”, Select “Group” in “Predicate List”, click next, type Monitors, say add. Click “Finish”.

    Hi Kathy,
Happy Holidays!  Do you have an iPad with cellular service and a text-messaging plan?
Send messages with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201287
What's the difference between SMS/MMS and iMessage?
SMS/MMS lets you send text messages and photos to other cellular phones or devices. iMessage lets you send text messages and photos to another iOS device over Wi-Fi, without worrying about text-messaging charges (cellular data charges may apply).
What do I need to use SMS/MMS and iMessage?
Here's what you need to use SMS/MMS and iMessage:
SMS/MMS: A text-messaging plan. Contact your carrier for more information.
iMessage: An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later.
How do I know if my message used SMS/MMS or iMessage?
You can tell which type of message you're sending by the color of the Send button and text bubble.
SMS/MMS: Send button and text bubbles are green.
iMessage: Send button and text bubbles are blue.
How can I link my iPhone number with Messages on my iPad, iPod touch, or Messages for Mac?
When you sign in to Messages with your Apple ID on your iPhone, you link your phone number to your Apple ID. If you then sign in to Messages with the same Apple ID on your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, Messages will link that device to your phone number as well.
I hope this information helps ....

  • Unable to view MMS messages

My daughter sent me a text with a picture attatched.  I never had problems receiving mms with my Palm Pre, but the MMS on my Charge says I need to download.  WHen I press it, it says downloading but nothing happens.  Do I need to change something somewhere? I read the manual, watched the videos, and hit a few Droid boards to no avail.  Help!

    Hi Mzlinnie,
Are you still unable to view your MMS message?   Booch provided a great suggestion. Additionally, I would suggest ensuring you have sufficient 4G or 3G signal in effort to download the message. Please advise if you require additional assistance.

  • Unable to view the messages in sxmb_moni - Quality System

    Hi,
We have got a strange problem in the diaplay view for  TCode - sxmb_moni for our Quality system.
We have different scenarios - Idoc to Web Service (synchronous using BPM), Proxy to Web Service both inbound and outbound etc all to the same Webservice.
Whenever a scenario executes in the Development system, we are able to view the WSDL data that is sent to the Web Service along with the response given by the Web Service in all the cases successfull or unsuccessful.
But if the scenario is executed in the Quality system there are a few different cases for the display view in sxmb_moni :
Case 1 ) Incase of IDoc to Webservice "Successfull " (ECC -> PI-> Webservice)Scenario we are able to see only the data that is sent to the Webservice. We are not able to view the WSDL sent to the Webservice and the Response received.
Case 2)  Incase of IDoc to Webservice " Unsuccessfull / Error " (ECC -> PI-> Webservice) Scenario We are able to view all the data that is sent to the Webservice right from the Idoc to BPM, the WSDL, the response received.
Case 3) In case of Proxy scenarios both inbound and outbound "Successfull ", we are neither able to view the data that is sent to the Webservice or the response received from the Web Service.
Case 4 ) In case of Proxy scenarios both inbound and outbound "Unsuccessfull ", we are able to view only the error and not the data that is exchanged between both the systems.
The point to be noted is that in case of Successfull executions the data is well received at the Web Service end.
What could be  possibly missing between the two systems Development and Quality due to which we are not able to view messages in the T-Code SXMB_MONI
Thanks a lot for all the inputs!

    Hi Lalit,
In sxmb_ad transaction, go to configuration integration engine (edit) and set Trace Level = 3.
    See that:
The specified item was not found.

  • Unable  to view the message in PA30 maintain text in workflow

    Hi All,
We have developed a workflow which gets triggered when ever a record gets created in PA30 infotype 0267.
At the time of record creation the user can maintain his comments in Goto=> Maintain text.
After the record gets created the workflow gets trigerred,
the record gets locked and a workitem appears in the users
    inbox.
The user doubles clicks on the workitem and a decision screen appears. Using the objects and Attachments the user can vie the record and also the icon  for maintain text.
my problem is that  after the record gets locked I am not able to view the text maintained in the maintain text editor,
whereas after that record gets unlocked  I am able to view the text.
Are there any settings via which we can view the text irrespective whether it is created at the time record is locked or not.
    Thanks and Regards
    Shraddha

    Hi,
By looking at the word 'Maintain text', it looks to me that it doensn't make sense to have this option up when that particluar record is locked. Or there should be an option saying 'Display Text'.
Anyway, what is the purpose of the comments written by the creator of the record? is it only to facilitate the next approver to take his decision or Do you need this comment always attached with record for some proof?
If comment is only to facilitate the next approver to take his decison and not really required to be attached along with record, then may be you can do the following
    1. Once the record gets created, the first workitem send it to creator only. In the description mention to add comment and click to continue to go for approval. So, when work item comes to creator he can add the comment using 'Create' option with workitem and this comment will be there as an attachment through out the workflow. So approver will also be able to see the comment.
    2. If at all it is required to store these comments along with record, once the whole approval process gets over, in the last step write a method to extract the attachments from workflow container and assign aginst the record. We have FM's to extract attachments ( SAP_WAPI_GET_ATTACHMENTS) and also FMs to store against an object (ARCHIV_CREATE_TABLE,ARCHIV_CREATE_FILE).
    Hope this helps you !!

  • Unable to view System Messages

I am having issues with seeing users in application or system messages in release HFM 11.1.1.2 We are all getting a message that we do not have the proper access to perform the task and we are set up as administrators. I have not been able to find anything that I can change security wise.

  • Can't open/view Text messages

I click on a contact to read my new message(s) and my screen turns white and says "loading" and it never actually loads and shows me the new message.  This happened out of nowhere tonight (nothing happened to the phone tonight) and I can still view emails and browse online.  I can also still compose a text message and send it successfully.  I have tried restarting the phone, I have tried shutting it off completely, cleaning it and putting it back together and trying again, but nothing is working.  Please HELP.....this is driving me crazy!
    Thank you in advance!!!

    Hello Jamie1115,
I can certainly understand how important is it to be able to read your text messages! In this day and age texting has grown to outpace phone calls on cellular devices. Have you checked how much available device memory you have on the Incredible 2? If not then I would recommend making more memory available by performing the steps below:
Delete any long threaded messages from the text message inbox.
Clearing data and clearing cache on commonly used apps.
Move pictures and videos to the memory card.
Uninstall any unused apps downloaded from the Market.
Remove any anti-virus apps or task managers.
Delete any widgets that's not being used from the main screens to free up RAM.
Remove any live wallpaper from the background.
Manually stop unnecessary or unused services in settings.
Delete any 3rd party messaging apps from the device.
Once you have done the step above then retry your text to see if you are able to read the message. Also, test to see if you are able to read new text messages, just in case there is an issue with the one message that you received. If you are still unable to view the messages on your incoming text then the next step is a factory reset. I have provided a link below on how to complete a factory reset on the Droid Incredible 2.
    http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=42020
As always, I recommend that you verify that your contacts and calendar entries are backed up on your Gmail account. You also have backup assistant to use for archiving your contacts. Once this reset has been complete then the device would need to be reactivated. This is a fairly simple process as there is a tutorial that walks you through the process. After the device is reactivated and setup, please test all voice and data services then test your incoming text messages. If you continue to have this issue then please reply to this message with your findings so I can further assist.
    Thank you...

  • Blackberry Messenger, unable to view others' replies

I've had my phone working for about a week now. It's a Curve 8320. I've noticed that yesterday and today there is a BB Messenge icon and when I check the messages I can see the first few words of the message but am unable to view the remaining text. Also when I open up BB Messenger, I only see my comments and not those of my contacts. I know I have a message because of the red blinking light but for whatever reason, I'm unable to view their messages. Has anybody else had any similar experiences with their BB Messenger or have any suggestions to get it to work properly.
    I have a 4GB Micro SD card.
    Yvete

I have the same issue with my blackberry messenger - it only started a few weeks ago, but no incoming messages can be read.
I can sit next to my gf and send her messages, but I only see the first 4 characters of my received messages in the initial message list and then can't read messages in BB messenger.
    Any ideas on fixing this?

I haven't looked at the code, but suspect that problem is that simply deploying the class is not sufficient, as the console class loader won't be able to find classes embedded in a deployment. The class likely needs to be in the system classpath.
A work-around might be to code your own browser tool in java or WLST scripting. I think we'll be releasing a white-paper on this type of coding in the within the next few weeks.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately it did not help solve the problem.
I have managed to get a JMS bridge working between 12c and 8.1 by including the 8.1 weblogic.jar on the classpath. This setup was using eis.jms.WLSConnectionFactoryJNDINoTX.
After trying to use the adapter that supports transactions, WLSConnectionFactoryJNDIXA I received the following error:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: can only be called from server
Is this because the Weblogic 12c server now views the 8.1 server as being foreign?
