Weblogic Access Logs not getting generated / updated only for Admin server

Hi All,
I have a query ,
We recently noticed that the weblogic access logs for our admin server are not getting generated.
However we checked that the access logs are getting generated for the managed servers that we have.
There is not much difference between the logging settings between the admin and the managed servers.
We thought that there might be some problem with the buffering and that the data might not be written to the files immediately.
So after researching we found the parameter "-Dweblogic.logging.bufferSizeKB=0" and added that to the java options however it did not make any difference.
Also we tried modifying the config script as ,

However no luck .....
We are using weblogic 9.2 MP3 and think there might be some bug with this version , however its hard to believe that the logs are generated and updated for managed servers and not for the admin servers.
The only thing we notice in the access logs of the admin server is 404 errors.
Any suggestions ?

I didn't find that buffer-size-kb capability in the docs in 9.2. I recommend checking with support.

    We have weblogic 10.3.5 as application server and deployed DAM(Digital Assets Management ) application on it. Also we have deployed 2-3 more application which is sharing connection properties file (dfc and log4j) outside from application war in shared location.
    Now, we have configured the log path but logs are not get generated where as it comes in out log of weblogic.
    Is there any configuration changes which can create the log files as mentioned in our log4j.properties?? Seeking help urgently.

    How are you writing to the log file in your application?
    When, for example, use System.out.println the entry will show up in the .out file.
    You need to get the right loghandler to write the logging you configure.

  • Wlproxy.log not getting generated

    I am trying to proxy the weblogic requests through IIS 7.5, it is working. but wlproxy logs are not getting generated. Please fnd below my iisproxy.init file contents.
    Could any one tell me if I am missing any thing.
    Steps followed.
    1. created website in IIS
    2. added isapi filter by giving the iisforward.dll path, name given is wlforward
    3. added handler mappings by giving *.wlforward as the path and giving iisproxy.dll path
    4. added the file iisproxy.ini file

    It is working. It is something to do with admin rights on that file clreation. I got full admin access. now it works.

  • How to get Cumulative Update packages for SQL Server Compact v3.5 SP2 for use on a Windows Mobile device

    There are links on the pages for various Cummulative Updates for SQL Compact v3.5 SP2 which look to relate to the desktop version, but are these also available for Windows Mobile devices?  If so, what is the process to get hold of them?
    We are seeing intermittent problems with corrupted databases on devices which are using SQL Compact v3.5 SP2 and have seen that some of the Cumulative Updates do relate to corruption and would like to see if these can help to solve the issue.

    Just select the KB article, at the top of each there is a link to request a hotfix, you will then get a email with a download link. The 8088 and 8109 hotfixes also apply to Windows Mobile.

  • Application logs are not getting generated in OIM 9.1.0.2

    Hi guys,
    We have created schedulers in OIM using OIM api to create,modify and delete the users.All our schedulers working fine.and we are able to do all the opeartions quite some time back.But we are facing an issue where the logs not getting generated when we run the schedulers.But while creating/modifying/deleting users from OIM webconsole we are gettinng the logs.Any help would be appreciated.

  • TDS reversal entry is not getting generated at time of F-54

    Dear All,
    I have made down payment request  through F-47  transaction code  and down  payment made by Transaction code u2013F110 (instead of F-48)   and TDS is deducted at this point. There after I made invoice through MIRO / F-43 in which TDS is again deducted for whole invoice amount. I have cleared down payment through T.code F-54. But at this time TDS reversal entry is not getting generated and only customer account is credited and debited.
    So in short TDS is getting deducted at time down payment and at time of Invoice for their respective full value.
    Note: For TDS type on payment I have selected u201CCentral Invoice PROPu201D and we are not using business place and section code. Please help me.
    Appreciate all expertsu2019 help ASAP.

    If ur not using business place how can u get remitance chalana thats why first u can configure the business plance. I think ur already posted some entries its correct? In this case u will run this t.code business place update the previous entries i.e.,  J1INPP  this is very useful to u

  • Planned order not getting generated for FG

    Dear Experts,
    Planned orders not getting generated for the Finished Goods - X which is having MRP Type M0 - MPS fixing type strategy group 20 which is copied fron another FG - Y , its a new product and production plan has been updated through MC88 - Rough cut planning but the planned orders are not getting generated.
    And for the material valid production version exists with selection method 3 and individullcollective as 1.
    Please let me know what might be the possibalities and what all the key fields i need to check.

    Dear,
    In general MPS is run for High value items ( if you use like Gold , Platimum or A class items. ).
    Always only single level is used for Explosion and planning. then only you can analyse the requirements at each stage before procurement.
    Otherwise if you run MPS to multi level, Bottom most high value will be procured without any notice to authorities. Even you may cancel the process in mid way. At that time what will happen to the procured high value material.
    So for that purpose only single item single level MPS concept is evolved.
    Fo that you run MPS at single level so that only for the first level MPS will be carried out.
    Check and revert back.\

  • Nohup.log files are not getting generated correctly

    hai,
    im a weblogic administrator. Here is my problem in weblogic. My partner has complained that nohup.logs are not getting generated properly. Like for every 5 mins a new nohup .log file is getting generated. But almost 4 to 5 logs are of 0 size and after that the 6 log file is very hug ( around MB). And the status of the managed servers is in FAILED state. When i checked the nohup logs, i can see "E297: Write Error In Swap File" and also the below error. But when i checked the disk space it is only 30 % full. Please suggest me something that can help me in this. Why is this behavior in the nohup.logs? have anyone faced anythign like this? Please help me.
    But after the recycle everything is fine. But i want to know what went wrong and why it got recovered after the recycle.

    according to error message, your partition size have not enough disk space from where you are running nohup command. check with df -kh.

  • Credit note is not getting generate and there is no error log

    Hi,
    Could you please help with the following scenario.
    I have created a credit memo with reference to a billing document. Then  when I try and create a credit note for this credit memo, it does not get generated and the following message apprears 'No billing documents were generated'
    Processing status for this is - 'Not Processed'
    and there are no messages in the error log as well.
    Could you please advise as to what the missing configuration might be? As i can't seem to find what is causing the problem

    Kindly create a Credit Memo Request wrt to Billing Document by maintaining in the Copying Control through VTAF and then create a Credit Memo wrt Credit Memo request through VTFA.
    Then go to VOFA with your Billing Type and maintain Account Determination Procedure.
    it does not get generated and the following message apprears 'No billing documents were generated'
    Do you able to get the Number while saving the Credit Memo or not able to save it .
    Kindly check the configuration of Account ket in VKOA also .

    In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
    java -version
    (don't get creative and type anything else)
    The latest version is 1.6.0_65.

  • Reports not getting generated

    Dear All,
    I know this is a repeat query but im unable to find information from the blogpost http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-41109.
    I have earlier configured the WWI setup in a linux server. Now I am testing it on a windows server. I have made all the configurations in word and for generation server. The issue is, the report is not getting generated in report management screen and is in status Generation possible always.
    When i check the wwi monitor, the doc type SBR is getting released but not getting completed. Please see the screenshot. CGSADM is working fine, RFC is working fine. I tried creating documents in CV01N and they are getting created. The DCOM settings are also good and activated the permissions there too. The DMS settings are set as per the SAP notes. However The job i scheduled is in status Finished for document generation. But when I try to generate the report, the report is created using a variant and the status of the report is in generation possible always. I checked the variant of the report and the validity is in REG_WORLD. I understand that there is some issue in the scheduled job.
    I have scheduled only one job for Document Generation as follows.
    a)Enter the job name - DOC GENERATION and choose a job class - A.
    d) Choose Start condition and in the dialog box, choose After event.
    e) Enter SAP_SYSTEM_START in the event field.
    f) Activate Periodic job - HOURLY
    g) Choose Check and save your entries.
    h) Choose Step and choose ABAP program in the dialog box that appears.
    i) Enter RC1WWIDS as the ABAP program name.
    j) Choose Check and save your entries.
    k) Before you leave the Define Background Job screen, you must save your entries once more.
    Result: The job is started whenever the SAP system is started.
    aFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS, THE RESULT IS THE SAME AND NO CHANGE IN STATUS OF THE REPORT.
    Kindly suggest what step am i missing . I have been through all the blogs in SCN. My old blogs are however missing and hence I am not able to access them.
    I am using SAP GUI 7.30, ECC6 and EHP 5.

    Please help me to understand your system landscape.
    a.) Did you have had a SAP EHS up and running together with a "linux server" based WWI version
    and
    b.) now you are switching the same SAP system to a "windows server" based version?
    I am not sure about your screenshots. But you seem to have more than one gen server attached to the same system; did you updated as well WWI?
    So no adaption of general SAP set up (like DMS etc.)?
    Therefore any job scheduled (before afterwards) is done using a SAP account having the necessary access rights?
    Can you please check this:
    1.) create several sessions; one with WWi monitor and one with CG02; try to generate a different report for the same spec id (e.g. not MSDSUS in EN, but MSDS/FR) and check progress in WWI monitor as well as CG50
    2.) select in CG50 the report in status "generation possible"; mark it and try to "go" on ; check access rights afterwards (su53)
    I hate this status "generation possible". I believe you need to use "debug replace" to remove that entry; I can not remember any more but that was the only option to get "rid" of this entry
    Please read WWI cookbook, There is a set up possible in such a way that any action on WWI server is "logged"; may be try to analyze the log file to get idea why there is no progress regarding the generation
    PS: the problem you have detected is not related to the "validity area". It is a matter of communication issue between SAP and WWI server and the WWI process can not be finalized.
    But you are not alone with your problem (e.g. check:

    Hi folks,
    The issue is like this :
    We have a weekly workorders upload program from legacy systems to SAP-APO. The legacy planners send a .CSV file containing material-wise workroders. A customised zee program picks these quantities & writes them in Prod.planned keyfigures in SNP planning book. This process is done for the manufacturing locations only.
    Lately workorders for two particular material M1 & M2 had failed to get upload. It gives the error 'NO VALID SOURCE OF SUPPLY COULD BE FOUND' in its Job log. We did some debugging & found that for successful materials the  TRPID is getting generated in the table /SAPAPO/V_TRPROD  whereas this TRPID is missing for M1 & M2. Why this is happening is our main concern. We tried deleting the PPM & creating this again, assuming that the PPMID is the precursor for generating this TRPID, but this yielded no results.

    Yes Anand.
    We deleted the PPM & created it again, which didn't work.
    Later on we deleted the product itself from APO & re-CIFed it from R3 & then re-created the PPM.
    The PPMID which was missing earlier is now getting created! However no luck with the TRPID.
    Why this TRPID is not getting generated in our only concern

    When I execute F9N1, internal FINSTA are not getting generated..
    The application log shows current Accounts  being edited by end of day processing run
    What could be wrong and what can be done? Any idea..
    The next date in F9K3- Current Account is 11.02.2010
    The F9N1 run date is 12.03.2010
    The F9B1 date - Current date is 12.03.2010
                             New posting date - 15.03.2010
    I am in Development server and trying to add a new company code to the IHC set up. Where can I look into? The internal FINSTA are not getting generated..

    Ravi,
    I found the problem.
    Let me explain the whole process for the benefit of other consultants like me.
    Pre-requisites for generating FINSTA IDOC for any account in IHC:
    1. In the account (F9K2 - change account) go to 'Account Statements' TAB and ensure that the 'Next date' is the date on which you are trying to create the bank statement.
    2. In WE20 you should have created a partner profile for the Business Partner (Partner type GP) who is the Account holder.
    3. In this partner profile for the BP there should be a Outbound parameter for FINSTA (without Message code IHC and Message function FI) with basic type FINSTA01. The port used for this Outbound Parameter should be LOCAL.
    4. For the same BP there should be a  Inbound parameter for FINSTA with port and this port should be your client where the subsidiary's company code resides.
    Now when you run F9N1, it will create two FINSTA  IDOC's, one with LOCAL as port and for this the Partner will be your BP who holds the account in the IHC.
    Another FINSTA IDOC will have the House Bank as partner. This IDOC will be succesful only if you have created the account as a House Bank and Account ID in FI12 configuration for the subsidiary company code.

    I'm new to Solution Manager.
    We were getting EWA report regularly till last month in solution manager.
    But for the past one month the reports are not getting generated and I'm getting the following error message.
    Kindly help
    The data for this session is overdue. Data has not yet been transferred from the associated satellite system.
    Go to the Service Data Control Center (transaction SDCCN) in the satellite system and check why the data has not been sent.
    Typical sources of errors are:
    The RFC connection for the SAP Solution Manager system is not working.
    The 'Task Processor' background job, which collects the session data, has been changed.
    Problems arose while data was being collected (see the detail log for the task that collects the session data).
    A periodic 'SDCC Maintenance Package' task has not been scheduled to check whether your SAP Solution Manager system requests session data.

    The maintanance package is getting executed everyday. However, it is throwing some error.
    I have checked the RFC connection and they are working fine.
