Weblogic Appc cann't recognize @Stateless annotation

Hi All,
I am Using weblogic 10.0 and I have several EJB (all are EJB 3.0 with annotation). I am able to compile my ejb's using weblic.appc all of the ejb's except two of the ejb's. In these two ejb's appc cann't recognise @Stateless annotation and complain either add @Stateless annotation or use ejb-jar.xml. If I add ejb-jar.xml it works fine. I am using maven 2.0.9 and want to be consistent.
Any Idea why appc compiler can't recognise annotation?

It could be related to the size of the session beans. We've discovered that appc won't build EJB 3.0 session beans when they reach a certain size. To verify, I created a project with a session bean that has one method that just has a huge String. I wired it up to a simple Servlet, which prints the huge string. I can deploy this app (with a patch... keep reading) but can't run appc against it manually.
We originally ran into a similar problem on 10.0 where we couldn't deploy our app when it had session beans with more than ~800 lines. When appc is run on an EJB 3.0 JAR file where the size of the class file is more than 40kb, you get the following exception:
weblogic.ejb.container.compliance.ComplianceException: No EJBs found in the ejb-jar file 'server.jar'. Please ensure the ejb-jar contains EJB declarations via an ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptor or at least one class annotated with the @Stateless, @Stateful or @MessageDriven EJB annotation.
Signature Remedy
Oracle recommends upgrading to Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.
Whenever possible, you should bring your environment(s) to a level where the issue has been addressed.
However, if you feel that is not feasible, please contact Support for patch from CR330339. Patches do exist for the following environments: Oracle WebLogic Server 10.0, 10.0MP1
