Weblogic error Question.
Hi all.
I have a Weblogic 8.1.5 and iplanet 6.0 configured.
I'm getting errors like below :
com.bea.wlw.runtime.core.dispatcher.HttpServer for servlet *.jws could not be loaded because the requested class was not found in the classpath c:\bea81\user_projects\domains\Ctos\CtosWebApp\WEB-INF\classes;C:\bea81\user_projects\domains\Ctos\.\CtosServer\.wlnotdelete\extract\CtosServer_CtosWebApp_CtosWebApp\jarfiles\WEB-INF\lib\cc_CyberCode_client.jar;C:\bea81\user_projects\domains\Ctos\.\CtosServer\.wlnotdelete\extract\CtosServer_CtosWebApp_CtosWebApp\jarfiles\............
I don't know the reason why.
Please help me in this regard.
regards.
Hi,
I figured out that I was missing some libraries for my application.
Try to find out which libraries are missing and add them.
This should resolve the issue.

Oracle errors in Weblogic Error logs appear in non english
We have a problem with weblogic error logging. Specifically, in a managed server's log file, Oracle errors such as ORA-XXXX show in Greek, not English. We are assuming
that this is because the timezone is Europe/Athens. However, the weblogic application server runs with user.language=en, user.country=US. What's more, there are 4 application servers and 2 of them have this problem. The oracle database is accessed via weblogic datasources.
Oracle database server Setup: Oracle Server 11gR2 running on Oracle Linux 64 bit, timezone set to Europe/Athens
Weblogic Server: Weblogic 10.3.5 running on Oracle Linux 64 bit, timezone set to Europe/Athens
The managed server, according to jrockit, the jvm runs with the following language related system properties:
user.language=en, user.country=US, user.timezone=Europe/Athens
The question is: How do we tell oracle / weblogic to log english text for the ORA errors?
Thanks,
ChrisI digged in the weblogic installation directory and it seems like the domain configuration wizard messed up the jdbc configs for the data sources.
The config xml files for the data sources in the /domain root/config/jdbc directory had oracle driver but the test query was for pointbase. I double checked from the database.xml file in the init-info directory and corrected the entry in the datasource config xmls and voila!.. the errors were gone.
I am not sure if this was the right approach and whether i have solved the issue or simply patched it.. so I am keeping the question open. If any one has any inputs I will be grateful.
If the mods/admins feel that the thread should be marked as solved I will surely do so.
Thanks. -

Hi,
One last question. Can you tell me more about what OS you have theWLServer

In the FAQ I can read:

There is a known issue with the logging of WebLogic Server jCOMerror
messages. COM warnings are incorrectly logged as errors, as in thisexample:
<Error> <COM> <210000> <IOXIDResolveropNum 5 invoked. This method is
not
implemented.>
So: I know, this is only a warning, but where is my object? ;-)
Can s/o tell me?

Hi,
We have installed OEM Grid Control 11.1 on a Linux Suse 10 machine (which will act as a middleware/gateway machine to the database hosted on the remote machine.)
We have completed the Grid installation successfully also we are able to connect the link to OEM.
When we tried to pull a database on host machine we get the following error on the OEM webpage.
It seems some Weblogic error, we have installed weblogic 10.3.3, and when we fire ps -ef |grep weblogic we can see process running.
Now we are not sure where the exact problem is.
Please help, refer the error page.

Is there a way to change the Weblogic error page (404,500,...)?
By default we removed the "pumpkin" page. Many customers are not interested
in having the term WebLogic displayed by default. But, you should still be
able to change this error Page. The way to do this is inside of your Web
application deployment descriptor Web.XML.

I can't remember if it was in WebLogic 4.5 or 5.1, but we used to get a404
weblogic error page with a gold background and a graphic symbol of "w" for
weblogic. Now in WebLogic 6.0 we just get a plain white page with black
text for the 404 error. Is that available at all in WebLogic 6.0? Ifnot,
how can we get it? It seems like in the previous versions of WebLogicthey
allowed you to customize you error pages if you wanted in
weblogic.properties
I can't find any reference to doing that in WL 6.0 through the Console
(never mind that I can't find an actual weblogic.properties or equivalentto
alter manually). So any insight/suggestions on this issue?
Thanks,

JSP Weblogic server question.
Hi,
I'm new with Weblogic, and I have running the server already. I'm able to run servlets
through the browser, however I want to start working with JSP. I created a sample
jsp file and when trying to launch it through the browser I get a 404 message error.
So my question is how can I make weblogic to act as a jsp server as well?
Thank you for any help.
A.R.
Copy your JSP file into the
config/mydomain/applications/
DefaultWebApp directory
In a web browser, request the JSP file using the following URL:
http://localhost:7001/sampleJsp.jsp

Workshop Weblogic config questions
I'm using Oracle Workshop for WebLogic 10.3 and I'm hoping someone can answer some setup/config questions.
When I double click on the server (WebLogic Server v10.3 at localhost) a window opens with various settings that manage how workshop and weblogic work together.
Under "Startup & Deployment" I have the following turned on:
Launch WebLogic server in Eclipse console
Always start WebLogic Server in debug mode
Ignore project compilation errors when publishing (I have this turned on because of errors in a portal project, the errors aren't inmportant, and don't prevent the project form running)
Run stand-alone web module directly from workspace
So, first question, with these settings I was able to quickly switch to debug mode, with out restarting the server, now the server restarts whenever I turn debugging on. What have I done that has stopped this working correctly? How can I get it to start debugging without a full restart?
next question, what happens if I turn on "Start WebLogic Server in Express Mode"? As far as I can tell nothing happens.
Lastly, under "Automatic Publishing" I have it set to "Never publish automatically", if I choose another setting workshop essentially freezes because it's constantly publishing. So whenever I make a change, even in a jsp, I need to remove the project, then re-add it to see my changes in the browser. This is frustrating, not just because it takes 8 or 9 minutes (8 or 9 MINUTES!!!), but because the project doesn't run properly until it is redeployed. You'd think that if it needs to be re-deployed, then none of my changes should matter on the server until it is re-deployed.
So, my question is, Is there any way to get this re-deployment to happen faster?
Thanks for any and all helpWell, in my experience performance is not bad as you experienced. Is it locally connected server or remotely connected server? If it is a remote server, network issue could cause this latency issue.
Is performance better if you run the server without enabling debug mode? If yes, probably you can also review any break points set.
You could also try out the following options
1) Run workshop with -clean option, by opening command prompt and navigating to workshop_home\'workshop.exe -clean'
2) Untick the option 'Launch WebLogic server in Eclipse console' and start server which would enable server to start on command prompt
3) This would enable you to take multiple thread dumps (cutl +Break) on the server console output, while performance is very bad, to see where threads are halt. -
How can you replace the default WebLogic generated error pages (401,403,500) with custom error pages for all deployed applications?

Weblogic error while deplying a simple servlet program
Hi This is a very simple servlet program.
I am trying to deploy it on the weblogic server but i get this error as follow
Unable to access the selected application.
*javax.enterprise.deploy.spi.exceptions.InvalidModuleException: [J2EE Deployment SPI:260105]Failed to create*
DDBeanRoot for application, 'E:\AqanTech\WebApp1\myApp.war'.
I have checked everything, right from my code to my web.xml file. I have used a build.bat file to build my war file.
PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS HUGE PROBLEM OF MINE ?
Thanks,
ShoebHi,
The J2EE Error code siply suggest that there is something wrong in your Deployment Descriptors...
Can u please post the XML files available inside your "WEB-INF" directory?
Thanks

Edited by: Sandor on Dec 9, 2010 5:04 PMIn that case (with customizations in xlWebApp.war), I will try to deploy the DELIVERED xlWebApp.war first.
If the problem happens there too, then it sould be environmental related (something changed).
OIM 9.1.0.2 is the latest Version of OIM 10g releases....
It is a Upgrade only Release and direct deployment is not possible.
You need to build OIM 9.1.0.1 - Then apply/upgrade to 9.1.0.2

Alright, so I have heard about this error, and one of my friends got it today.
The problem started out as "my computer won't load and has the spinning gear". I then told her to boot in Safe Mode, but it would continuously load. Should it take 2 hours for it to boot? I don't think so...but maybe I am wrong.
Since that fails, Apple says to boot into single user mode, which is fine. Put in my /sbin/fsck -fy command, and let it do it's thing. Then we see that error.
So, here are my questions. Note I have my own copies of the grey installation disk, but she does not have hers.
* Pertaining to the 5-step checkup by running /fsck -fy, how long should this take? It got all the way up to Invalid Record Count (4, 4xxx), with 2 lines of disk0s2 and Invalid Node every now and then. It seems to be stuck/slow on step 4.
* Is it safe to use my startup/installation disk solely for running Disk Utility? I am almost sure this is due to bad permissions, or simply a bad hard drive.
* Would Target Disk Mode help? We both have Macs and I know about that feature, but since we don't have a Firewire 800 cable, can't do this. My mac is fine (better repair my permissions!)
* Any other further steps that can be taken? She is visiting an Apple Store this weekend, so I am merely curious as to what can be done.

What error?
Invalid Record Count (4, 4xxx), with 2 lines of disk0s2 and Invalid Node every now and then. It seems to be stuck/slow on step 4.
Disk directory disk0s2 is damaged. Can't tell what disk that is (this is dynamic identifier), but, if you're running SL, in all likelihood that's the 2nd partition (slice) of the internal disk, ie, main partition on the internal disk.
You can try to (a) boot from an alternate device (eg, Install DVD or ext'l drive) and attempt to fix the problem with Disk Utility, (b) rebuild the disk directory with DiskWarrior, (c) boot from an alternate device, reformat the disk (which will destroy everything currently on it) and restore everything from the backup. In any event, if you don't have a backup, you're in trouble. Pray.
Is it safe to use my startup/installation disk solely for running Disk Utility?
To verify or repair the disk? Yes.
I am almost sure this is due to bad permissions
Nothing whatever to do with permissions.
Would Target Disk Mode help?
No. Can't be used if you can't boot the Mac from the int'l drive.
Any other further steps that can be taken?
If there is a current backup, no. If there isn't, boot from an alternate device and try to copy as much data which hasn't been backed up as possible. The Apple Store does not do data recovery. -
