Hi I need WebLogic Server 6.1 for my application.I tried in Oracle site but i am not able to locate this file.If any body knows please help me to download it

When you say "can't be disabled" you mean you get a security exception, right?
If you want to disable the securitymanager in a JNLP application, you will need to sign the application's jar-files and request the appropriate permissions in the JNLP file.
After that you should be able to disable the securitymanager in your main method.

Using EJB with Hibernate on Weblogic Server ADF platform

We use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 and WLS 10.3
I tried to use Hibernate on my project according to this link well, EJB with Hibernate On Weblogic
I wanto use Hibernate tool because toplink and eclipselink can not achieve the issue about generating update* ddl on schema, they can just only re-create the tables -not real update.

Problems starting WebLogic server in Jdeveloper 11.1.2.1.0

I'm having an issue converting an application that was developed to run under OAS to use WebLogic Server. I downloaded Jdeveloper 11.1.2.1.0, configured the integrated server and the default domain, and then I try to start the server. The server starts but during the startup process I receive this exception:

We have the org.w3c.dom.Element class in the xmlparserv2.jar file that we have external to Jdev but all those seem to be earlier than Java 1.5, because they don't have the getTextContent() method.

Have you tired to move the user directory to a path without spaces?No spaces in any paths that I can see.
Look for the system11.1.1.xxxx folder and remove or rename it. Jdev created the folder from scratch next time you start.Done that, multiple times (folder is system11.1.2.1.38.60.81). When we first started seeing this error, that was the advice that many people gave in various discussion groups. We were working in an older version of Jdeveloper at that time. So then I downloaded the latest Jdev installation from the Oracle download site, thinking that maybe the older version had an older JDK embedded. I've installed twice now, once with using the embedded Sun JDK of 1.6.0_24 and once using our own separately downloaded version of 1.6.0_24 and I get the error in either case.
You are correct that it is probably an installation problem, but I have no idea what it could be.

First, it would be better to post this message in
weblogic.developer.interest.ejb.
If your weblogic server talkes to RemoteClient object on the other weblogic
server. You had to put those xxx_Stub.class in WEBLOGICCLASSPATH of your
weblogic server.
For remote classloading is just for weblogic server to weblogic client. It
is not happened in weblogic server to weblogic server.

Patches for Weblogic Server 10.3.0

Hi,
I am currently using the Weblogic Server 10.3.0 version in which the handling of Multiple Result set is not working properly which works fine in the Weblogic server version 10.3.3. When analysed futher I came to know that the weblogic driver that is being used in the server 10.3.3 is 9x whereas in 10.3.0 it is 8x.
Also when I browsed through sites I came to know that the Server 10.3.0 will support the driver version upto 8x. Hence please let me know if there are any patch available for to accomdate the same functionality of driver 9x in the Weblogic Server 10.3.0

Just download the latest version of the ojdbcX.jar and put it in your
WLS server\lib directory to replace the one already there (same name).
We will/have to support the latest appropriate driver for/with any
currently supported DBMS version.

Classpath - Weblogic Server

I'm pretty new to Oracle SOA and Weblogic server getting myself familiarize with some POCs .
I'm a bit lost with setting CLASSPATH in Weblogic server . Require your help in the following.
1) If i want to use some third party JARS for JDBC connections, where can i set this classpath ? Tried to set the CLASSPATH / Pre pend ClassPath and Append to Classpath from Admin console. But it didn't work .
I had to modify the setDomainEnv.cmd file, add it to the POST_CLASSPATH variable and then it did work. My question is why is it not being reflected when i have added it from admin console.
2) I have a Java application wherein it reads a properties file from classpath. Tried setting the same from admin console,as expected didn't work.
Then i had to modify commEnv.cmd file in WLS_HOME/common/bin folder and then it did worked ... So can't we set these from admin console ?
Please do help me with the above and thanks in advance.

Installation of AIA FP 2.2.1 on Weblogic Server 10gR3

Is it possible to install AIA FP 2.2.1 on Weblogic Server 10gR3?
As we would be working with OSB 10gR3 which is on Weblogic Server 10gR3
but SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 for third party (Weblogic) works on Weblogic Server 9.2
So how do we install SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 on Weblogic Server 10gR3 ?
Please help as soon as possible.

to install SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 on Weblogic Server 10gR3 it's actually impossible,
you have to wait the next release 10.1.3.5
or you can use SOA suite 10.1.3.4 on (OC4J or Wls 9.2) with OSB 10Gr3.

Weblogic 8.1 and Eclipse using Weblogic Server Tools

I am working on a project that has been developed with Weblogic 8.1 without integration into an IDE (Eclipse, etc.) We are trying to convert the source tree to a form usable within Eclipse using Weblogic Server Tools. We want to make deployment on developer workstations quicker and easier and provide for server side debugging. There is not much documentation on how to do this that I have been able to find. I have just finished reading the details of the split directory strucuture in the Weblogic documentation and understand that Server Tools uses the split directory concept. My question is basically how we create the project in Eclipse (with Server Tools plug-ins) initially. Is anyone out there still using Weblogic 8.1 and Eclipse 3.3 (Europa) using Weblogic Server Tools that can help?

There isn't much in a way of documentation that's explicit to WebLogic Server Tools, but a lot of Workshop 10.2 documentation applies. Basically, you will want to create Dynamic Web Projects to house your code. On the first page of Dynamic Web Project wizard, you will get a chance to define and target a server (WLS 8.1 in your case). That will configure your project classpath for WLS 8.1 and get everything else squared away.
Note that there is only very basic support for 8.1. In particular, the split-directory concept is not supported, but deployment is taken care of for you behind the scenes, so the details shouldn't matter that much.

Not able to download Weblogic Server 10.3.5 and ATG 10.3.2 for 64 bit window

For past two days I am trying to download Weblogic Server 10.3.5 and ATG 10.3.2 for 64 bit window but the download stops after downloading 30 or 40 MB and once I got network error. I dont know whats the issue. I even disabled my antivirus and firewall, still no luck. Any help is appreciated.

It is recommended to use latest maintenance pack of any WLS version, in this case it would be WLS 9.2 MP4. It is not only to avail all the fixes but also to be inline with Oracle's error correction policy.
The KM Note 763603.1 has all the archive versions of WebLogic products.

Problem downloading WebLogic Server 8

I am having problems downloadingl the eval copy of Weblogic server 8. The'Specify
Download Options' page in the Weblogic installer doesnt request proxy server authentication
information (userid, password). Is there a way to work around this issue and successfully
download the software.

appropriate to the problem. If people who read this newsgroup only know about
the webserver, then they won't have any idea how to help you with installation
problems with WebLogic server, which this clearly is (the "webserver" is not
"WebLogic Server", but only part of the entire package).
Have you made an attempt to contact BEA support? It seems likely that your zip
file is corrupt.
