Hello,
Please look at this documentation. Hope this is what you are looking for. Also make sure the exe installer you have should support your 64 bit machine.

  • 64 bit Weblogic Server 10.3.2 installation on Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 ?

    Hi,
I'm trying to install 64 bit version of Weblogic Server 10.3.2 on my 64 bit OS Windows Server 2008 R2 SP2.
Firstly I downloaded "jdk-6u24-windows-x64.exe" and installed it on my 64 bit platform.
I downloaded "wls1032_generic.jar" and try to install it by the command below
    "java -d64 -jar wls1032_generic.jar"
however I got the message below
    Unrecognized option: -d64
Couldn't create the Java virtual machine
Any options about this problem. Where am I making mistake?

    Hi,
You need to make sure the following things :
1). If you want to run your WLS on W 64 bit mode then You need to use Generic Jar installer Example: *"java -jar wls1032_generic.jar"*
2). The above Jar should be installed only using a 64 Bit JVM so that all the 64 bit libraries will be available with the WebLogic while installing it. So first of all Download a 64 Bit JVM in your Woindows box.
Then just run the following command to check if the JVM is 6t4 bit or not:
    set JAVA=HOME=C:\My64BitJDK\jdk1.6.0_21
    *$JAVA_HOME\bin\java -version*
3). Now u can run your WebLogic Installer like following:
    *$JAVA_HOME\bin\java -jar wls1032_generic.jar*

    Hi,
    I also faced same issue.
I have edited KEYDB.XML file. In that file replace ERROR woth OK and continue the installation. Before editing copy file  callSdmViaSapinst.log to know what are the components (failed components) need to be deploy after sucessfull installation.

  • Location of WebLogic Server 6.0 sp2 installable file in ZIP format

    Hello
I would like to use the ".zip" file of the WebLogic Server 6.0 sp2 installable
instead of the default ".bin" file.
Can someone help me locate the URL for downloading it?
    Thanks and Regards
    Kapil Pawar

    Hi.
The installation for Compaq Tru64 is a zip file - 'weblogic600sp2_generic.zip'.
However, be aware that installation is not simply a matter of unzipping the file
like earlier versions of WLS. See the installation directions for details.
    Thanks,
    Michael

  • Does Oracle 10G R2 support installation on Windows 2003 Domain Controller?

Does Oracle 10g R2 support installation on Windows 2003 Domain Controller? I remember that 10g R1 had issues with the DC? Is it still the case. Does it work now?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Regards,
    Raghav

We have Oracle 10g R2 running on a Windows 2003 domain controller. It was not a domain controller when Oracle was installed. The domain was created after installation. (I don't recommend that procedure. I spent a long day fixing the installation after they configured the domain.) If Oracle is unhappy with being on a domain controller, it has not shown it yet.

  • Content Server 6.40 on Windows 2003 64bit

    Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find any kind of information on Content Server 6.40 on a 64 bit windows machine.
The latest doc I can find is about 6.30 on a windows 2000 machine.
The reason why i'm looking for this doc is because i have a lot of questions.
I installed CS 6.40 on the windows 2003 64bit machine with MaxDB 7.6.01.08. (Deliverd with 2004S SR2). During the install sapinst ask for the packages to install. When asking for Maxdb i give the path for "Maxdb_Windows_i86_64". After the install I see he installed the package "Maxdb_Windows_I386".
Why does he not install the 64bit version? Is it hard code to take the 32bit? so why giving the possibility to install the 64 bit for Maxdb?
after the install i downloaded the CD maxdb 7.6.03 (50092483_3) from sap and tried to install it with the new cd. Install is not working.
Even an upgrade of Maxdb from 32 bit to 32 bit and from 32 bit to 64 bit is not working.
I even tried to download the updates from mysql website which redirect to sdn.
I can't be the only one with this kind of problem.
hope there is some who can help me
    thanks in advance.

If you set all of the configurations the same as your 32-bit server, you may not be properly optimized. There are a couple of ODTUG Kaleidoscope presentations that talk about 64-bit optimization:
    http://www.odtug.com/apex/f?p=500:565:2342367037265046:pg_R_751386216307798846:NO&pg_min_row=11&pg_max_rows=10&pg_rows_fetched=10

  • SOA Server 11g (Weblogic instance) stopping on its own on Windows 2003 OS

    Hi,
I am running SOA Server 11g (Weblogic instance) on Windows 2003 OS. The machine has 4 GB RAM and 1.8 GH CPU. The SOA Server (Java process) and Weblogic Admin Servers are stopping on its own. There are lo errors in the server log files. Please suggest if you have faces similar issues. I have installes Oracle Weblogic 11g and SOA Suite 11g on this machine. The same software runs fine on Windows XP OS.
    Thanks
    Subho

Can you please provide more information:
    1. Which version of Windows Server 2003? 32 bit or 64 bit version?
    2. Which exact version of Weblogic and SOA Suite have you installed?
    3. How long do the servers run before they shutdown(do they even start properly before going down)?
    4. Make the stdout go to the server log and then see if you can find any errors.
To do that you need to go to following under domain structure tree:
    Environment>Servers>{your admin server name} page
in Logging tab, advanced section, Put a checkmark against following:
    Redirect stdout logging enabled
    Redirect stderr logging enabled
Save and activate and then restart the server. This will log the JVM log information to the weblogic server log and hopefully you will be able to identify the issue.
