815 的中文版没有列出来!!
贴主, Since you are SE, I have a question for you:
请问,WebLogic Server 8.1 系列中的examples 你测试过没有?
我在看例子里面的 clusters/ejb模块,
从8.13,8.14 到8.15, 从英文版到中文版, 试过了,没有一个ant 成功了的!
都是 wlappc 的时候出错. JDK 也试过BEA/SUN的, 也都不行.
用java weblogic.appc 编译可以看出,
C:\bea815\weblogic81\samples\domains\examples\applications>java weblogic.appc cluster_ejb_teller.jar
C:\DOCUME~1\CHENGS~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\appcgen\examples\cluster\ejb\teller\TellerBean_9wjl3c_EOImpl.java:241: cannot resolve symb
ol
symbol : method etEJBHome ()
location: class examples.cluster.ejb.teller.TellerBean_9wjl3c_EOImpl
((TellerBean_9wjl3c_HomeImpl)etEJBHome()).md_eo_transfer_SSdS;
生成的stub 源程序有问题, 如果用 weblogic.ejbc 编译 ejb.jar 则不会出此错误.
强烈建议贵公司测试一下 weblogic.appc, 估计问题主要是出在编译 CMP EJB 的时候!!!!!

Oracle Portal returns 500 error running under Weblogic 11g server
I've got Oracle Portal set up under Weblogic 11g.
SSO running, talking to OID 11g, also running under the same Weblogic 11g server. Tested SSO, it is working well.
After the install (no errors or issue on install), I go to http://<server>:8090/portal/pls/portal and geta Error 500 - Internal Server Error.
I traced down the problem to OHS - in ohs1.log:
[2009-08-04T10:09:15.0512-05:00] [OHS] [ERROR:32] [OHS-9999] [odl_log.c] [host_id: <server>] [host_addr: 127.0.0.1] [tid: 1320139072] [user: oracle] [ecid: 004S594zs25Fw000jzwkno0002740001NK] [rid: 0] [VirtualHost: main] Request Failed for : /portal/pls/portal, Resp Code : [500]

So the problem is favicon.ico is missing, which I confirmed. Does this mean a bad deployment of an .EAR file? What should I do?Yes, it seems you are correct....this is from WLS_PORTAL-diagnostic.log
Looks like the real problem is ERROR: Failed to load C shared library in RepositoryGateway after calling RepositoryGatewayJNI.load:

It looks like you do not have WLS 5.1 service pack 6 installed correctly. I
say this because I do not see the sp6 message at the top of your log and I saw
this message in your log:

Use of external LDAP server in Weblogic Commerce Server
I'm using the following software:
Iplanet Directory Server v5
Weblogic Application Server v6
Weblogic Commerce v3.5
I need to configure Weblogic Commerce Server to use Iplanet Directory Server directory
services. How do I do that?
I have a couple of questions related to this:
1) As Weblogic Commerce Server runs on top of Weblogic v6, does it mean that to
use an external LDAP server, I need to configure weblogic v6 to do that and not
Weblogic Commerce Server?
2) Whatever may be the case above, how do I do that?
3) config.xml (weblogic application server v6) contains information that needs
to be modified to point to an external JNDI source provider but what information
do I need to modify?
I'd really appreciate if someone can help me out here. Thanks!"JP" <[email protected]> wrote in message news:[email protected]..
Hi,
I'm looking for someone who has used the Lotus LDAP server for WLP7
authentication.
I connect my portal to the Domino LDAP, User and Groups are working
fine, but the membership of a user to a group is not.
I assume that it's related to the parameters I use (especially the
membership.filter ?):
"user.filter=(&(uid=%u)(objectclass=person));
user.dn=O=Apac;
membership.filter=(&(uniquemember=%M)(objectclass=groupOfNames));
group.filter=(&(cn=%g)(objectclass=groupOfNames));
server.host=jpgal01.apac.bea.com;
group.dn="
Any help would be appreciate, because I just don't where to look for.
Try setting the com.netscape.ldap.trace property.
\* When -D command line option is used, defining the property with
* no value will send the trace output to the standard error. If the
* value is defined, it is assumed to be the name of an output file.
* If the file name is prefixed with a '+' character, the file is
* opened in append mode.
This will create a ldap trace file of the requests that WLS is making on the
LDAP server. You can then see
where the filters are not returning the correct value for the group
membership. -
WebLogic 8.1 Portal Admin problem !
Hello,
I use the web-based portal admin to create a portal with some deployed portlets.
My problem is that the URL is very long (http://localhost/portal/appmanager/dse/desktop1?...) and can I create a portal with the URL like (http://localhost/dse/desktop1?....)
EricAddress 7001 does't seem to be good idea for debuging, it is weblogic default address.
try 3999.

WebLogic Personalization Server
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the capabilities of
the WebLogic Personalization Server (WPS).
I have looked through some of the documentation, and it seems
to me that the WPS is intended for customizing portals (content, access to
specific
content, etc.).
However, would the WPS be useful for an ASP portal where there are multiple
roles
to be played (user and admin or both) and where the access control goes
beyond
simple "what pages/configuration can the user have" and more of what data
and control
of the data that the user has.
Hope that was clear ...
Thanks
RajuI gave this some thought and came up with the following solution.
There are 2 solutions:
Solution 1.
a) For each class of data create users in the database and give them the
appropriate authorization.
b) Create a lookup table that maps a username to a database user name based
on the level of authorization
c) As the user logs in, log into to the database with the database user that
corresponds to the current user.
d) Use the personalization engine to only show that content (or data
control) that corresponds to the logged in class of users.
Solution 2.
a. Create a lookup table to determine what level of authorization a user has
(same as b. above)
b. Use the personalization server to control the content show to the user
based on the level of authorization.
c. To restrict the user from enter a URL directly and viewing unauthorized
pages, call a function to check the level of authority for the current user
(against the table in a.) to either let the user continue or send them to an
unauthorized error page.
Hope this helps.
Solution 1 is more secure but you have the added headache to determine which
database user to log in as. May be a slight performance hit. Solution 2 is
more front end centric - hence your DBA need not know what you are doing.
Regards
CC

Trouble launching extension-associated applications through WebLogic Web Server
We are using WebLogic 7.1 to do a simple document management system. We have a
servlet that generates HTML. The HTML contains a hyperlink to document that is
served through WebLogic Web Server, via a Web Application, and is located in the
application directory.
The problem is, when you click on the hyperlink, an application associated with
the extension (for example, Microsoft Word for .doc extension) is not launched.
Instead, the browser brings up the document in its raw form directly in the browser
window.
This feature works properly when you browse to other sites that contain hyperlinks
to Word Documents (Microsoft Word gets launched properly within the browser).
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Hi Jay,
During my on going testing on our DR site, across all the issues which kind of fixed and working now – I have come across 1 which I am a little amazed with
While trying to run the ping and buffer on REN SERVER
ERROR 404 Page not found. Everything is set up perfectly to what I understand.
Env. – HR to portal .
Request goes to RPS passes the firewall goes to LB and to REN and so on along with that.
Initially the Setup was incorrect which is corrected now. Then LB was listening to desired port – which was not activated while RPS was brought up – we have fixed that. so for now LB listens to port.
We have bounced app/prcs and cleared cache. But when tried to ping test – 404 (page not found error )
I have checked config.xml / struts-config.xml and web.xml – jus to verify the document root and context is alrite. Looks Good.
Checked logs - No specific error.

Error starting weblogic Admin server
Hi All,
I am not very familiar with Fusion and weblogic but here is my situation:
Background: I am trying to install Fusion Middleware so I can integrate Oracle Transport Management with E-Business Suite (as per note Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle BPEL in Oracle SOA Suite 11g (Doc ID 1321776.1))
I just installed the following on Oracle Enterprise Linux 64bits
- SOA Suite 11.1.1.7.0
- Weblogic Server 10.3.6
-JDK 1.7.0_25
-Jdev 11.1.1.7.0
When starting the weblogic Admin server using "DOMAIN_HOME/startWebLogic.sh' I get an error:
Starting weblogic with Java version:
Unrecognized option -jrockit
Error: Could not create the Java virtual machine
I found a few thread with similar issue (for different versions of SOA suite) where it got fixed by changing some parameters in the cmd file but I am not sure they apply to my case.
Is the jdk version compatible? (I can start JDeveloper ok) , if not which one is the appropriate version. If i need to change it, can you provide details of how to do it? (I am not expert on SOA/Jdev )
Can you please help me here ?
Thanks in advance!Well, I tested it
java -version and it shows :
1.7.0_25
Java HotSpot 64 bit Server VM
--> So I guess the problem is I don't seem to have the jrockit.
I donwloaded it (Rel 28.7) and installed it. During installation it says "for JDK 1.6.0_45"
Anyway. I let it install anyway and I modified the PATH to point to the Jrockit bin directory. Then run java -version and it now shows JDK 1.6.0_45 and jvm as rockit
Now I tried to start the weblogic server and I get the same error. it still uses the JDK 1.7
So.. again.. is this supported with JDK 7 ?
How can I fix it now that I installed everything using the JDK 7?
Thanks -
Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
I need to make wsdl web service call in my weblogic app server. The web service is provided by a 3rd party vendor. I keep getting error
Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found
Certificate chain received from ws-eq.demo.xxx.com - xx.xxx.xxx.156 was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure
Validation error = 16
From the SSL debug log, I can see 3 verisign hierarchy certs are correctly loaded (see 3 lines in the log message starting with “adding as trusted cert”). But somehow after first handshake, I got error “Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found”.
Here is how I load trustStore and keyStore in my java program:
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore",”cacerts”);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", trustKeyPasswd);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType","JKS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType","JKS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", keyStoreName);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword",clientCertPwd); System.setProperty("com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump","true");
Here is how I create cacerts using verisign hierarchy certs (in this order)
1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignClass3G5PCA3Root.txt -alias "Verisign Class3 G5P CA3 Root"
1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediatePrimary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Primary"
1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediateSecondary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Secondary"
Because my program is a weblogic app server, when I start the program, I have java command line options set as:
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore=SSLTrust.jks
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.enforceConstraints=strong
That SSLTrust.jks is the trust certificate from our web server which sits on a different box. In our config.xml file, we also refer to the SSLTrust.jks file when we bring up the weblogic app server.
In addition, we have working logic to use some other wsdl web services from the same vendor on the same SOAP server. In the working web service call flows, we use clientgen to create client stub, and use SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter to load trustStore and keyStore, and then bind the SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the webSerive client object and make the webservie call. For the new wsdl file, I am told to use wsimport to create client stub. In the client code created, I don’t see any way that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the client object, so I have to load certs by settting system pramaters. Here I attached the the wsdl file.
I have read many articles. It seems as long as I can install the verisign certs correctly to web logic server, I should have fixed the problem. Now the questions are:
1. Do I create “cacerts” the correct order with right keeltool options?
2. Since command line option “-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore” is used for web server jks certificate, will that cause any problem for me?
3. Is it possible to use wsimport to generate client stub that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to it?
4. Do I need to put the “cacerts” to some specific weblogic directory?

The how to guide is :
-Download the wsdl file (with bindings, not the one from ESR)
-Correct it in order that the schema corresponds to the answer (remove minOccurs or other things like this)
-Deploy the wsdl file on you a server (java web project for exemple). you can deploy on your local
-Create a new logicial destination that point to the wsdl file modified
-Change the metadata destination in your web dynpro project for the corresponding model and keep the execution desitnation as before.
Then the received data is check by the metadata logical destination but the data is retrieved from the correct server. -
Hi All,
Everytime I start the weblogic Application server I get an
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error. This happens about a min after the app
server is started. All had been running fine so far. The most recent change
made was to compile the classes using jdk1.5.0_05.
The jdk used for weblogic is 1.4.2.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?? I even tried to start WL using
jdk1.5.0_05 by modifying the startserver.cmd scripts - but I still get the
same issue.
Please HELP!!!
Here is the output on startup:

Hi All,
Everytime I start the weblogic Application server I get an
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error. This happens about a min after the app
server is started. All had been running fine so far. The most recent
change made was to compile the classes using jdk1.5.0_05.
The jdk used for weblogic is 1.4.2.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?? I even tried to start WL
using jdk1.5.0_05 by modifying the startserver.cmd scripts - but I still
get the same issue.
Please HELP!!!
Here is the output on startup:

The only place I use any sort of classloader code is in the following
Constants.java
I use this line:
InputStream is =
Constants.class.getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream(propertyFileName);
This used to work perfectly fine in jdk 1.3 and 1.4 (if that is somewhere
close to the problem)

The Oracle MapViewer brings the WebLogic Managed Server to crash
Problem Description: The Oracle MapViewer brings the WebLogic Managed Server to crash, when we call a GetMap-Request with wrong Coordinates.
This was found out for the SRS=EPSG:25833. Example:
http://igdb-qm-svra1.blva.bayern.de:8080/mapviewer/wms?
REQUEST=getMap&
Version=1.1.1&
LAYERS=&
FORMAT=image/png&
TRANSPARENT=false&
STYLES=&
Datasource=igvert_alkis_wms&
basemap=AT_WMS_TN-KOMPLETT&
SRS=EPSG:25833&
BBOX=3.32358690717E7,5529425.0143,3.32369088846E7,5530464.8272&
WIDTH=500&
HEIGHT=500&
With the Enterprise Manager was also evaluated during and after a crash of Server the SQL-Statements.
If the SQL statements executed on the database itself, it takes a few seconds after a correct answer returns.
I know that have the look for the EPSG coordinate as follows:
BBOX=235869.071700,5529425.014300,236908.884600,5530464.827200&
My question therefore: Why are these coordinates by the Oracle MapViewer approved and not caught? An Request with incorrect
coordinates goes into a StuckThreads and then the ManagedServer crashed.
In the appendix you will find the evaluation of the Enterprise Manager.
I have tested the request with two different versions of Oracle MapViewer (Ver11_1_1_5_B110527 and Ver11_B100426). In both the same problem occurs on.
I have also filed an SR.

KerstinHi,
Can you confirm that you're trying to setup a managed server on another machine using the pack/unpack commands ?
You might to want to take a look at that post.
Clustering of 2 Physical server
Hope that helps !

Problem with WLST in weblogic application server 10.3 on solaris 10 x86
Hi Friends, I installed Sun Solaris 10 on my desktop x86. I am able to install oracle weblogic application server 10.3.
I created one domain and I am trying to start AdminServer on that using WLST command.
Before that , I started the admin server from command as normal start ( nohup ./startWebLogic.sh &) and the server started perfectly alright. After that I was trying to open admin console in firefox browser. It was opening perfectly alright.
Now I stopped the server and checked no processes which are related to weblogic were running , and then initialized the WLST environment using the script "wlst.sh" , which is at (in my system) /usr/bea/wlserver_10.3/common/bin/wlst.sh. Now the environment had been set and the WLST offline prompt came up.
Now I used the below WLST scirpt command
startServer('AdminServer','mydomain','t3://localhost:7001','weblogic','weblogic1');
and the server started perfectly alright, now what I did was , I started admin console at FireFox browser , it prompted me to enter user name and password , I gave them , and once the login is done, then in my shell window , I am seeing error as

and changed the memory arguments as
Sun)
JAVA_VM=-server
MEM_ARGS="-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m" <---- previously these were 32m and 200m and MaxPermSize
and also in /usr/bea/wlserver10.3/common/bin/bin/setDomainEnv.sh_
and in this file also I changed the memory arguments as
*if [ "${JAVA_VENDOR}" = "Sun" ] ; then*
*WLS_MEM_ARGS_64BIT="-Xms256m -Xmx512m"*
*export WLS_MEM_ARGS_64BIT*
*WLS_MEM_ARGS_32BIT="-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m"*
*export WLS_MEM_ARGS_32BIT*
and restarted the server using the WLST command and again tried to open the admin console on a browser, same error is showing.
(1) Environment : Sun Solaris x86
(2) JDK : sun jdk 1.6._17
Please help me what I am doing wrong here and please let me know the solution.
I was trying to install jrockit 1.6 on this since my OS is sun solaris X86 , there is no compatible jrockit version is not there.
Thanks a lot
PeterHi Peter,
As you have mentioned in your Post that
MEM_ARGS="-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m" <---- previously these were 32m and 200m and MaxPermSize
The Setting you have provided is wrong ...that is the reason you are gettingjava.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space. There is a RRation between PermSize and the maximum Heap Size...
Just a Bit Explaination:
Formula:
(OS Level)Process Size = Java Heap (+) Native Space (+) (2-3% OS related Memory)
PermSize : It's a Netive Memory Area Outside of the Heap, Where ClassLoading kind of things happens. In an operating System like Windows Default Process Size is 2GB (2048MB) default (It doesnt matter How much RAM do u have 2GB or 4GB or more)...until we dont change it by setting OS level parameter to increase the process size..Usually in OS like Solaris/Linux we get 4GB process size as well.
Now Lets take the default Process Size=2GB (Windows), Now As you have set the -Xmx512M, we can assume that rest of the memory 1536 Mb is available for Native codes.
(ProcessSize - HeapSize) = Native (+) (2-3% OS related Memory)
2048 MB - 512 MB = 1536 MB
THUMB RULES:
<h3><font color=red>
MaxPermSize = (MaxHeapSize/3) ----Very Special Cases
MaxPermSize = (MaxHeapSize/4) ----Recommended
</font></h3>
In your Case -Xmx (Max Heap Size) and -XX:MaxPermSize both were same ....That is the reason you are getting unexpected results. These should be in proper ration.
What should be the exact setting of these parameters depends on the Environment /Applications etc...
But Just try -Xmx1024m -Xms1024m -XX:MaxPermSize256m
Another recommendation for fine tuning always keep (Xmx MaxHeapSize & Xms InitialHeapSize same).
Thanks

Weblogic.management.server bound more than once?
Sorry if I already posted this in cluster, but I realized that it should belong here instead....
I have an admin server that does not belong in any cluster. I set up 2 managed server (app01,

up, I get the following message on both managed servers; the admin server, on the other hand, does
not display any errors. Why are the managed servers trying to bind weblogic.management.server to

GenePrasad diagnosed the problem. Look in clustering under the same title if you're interested!

EJB 3.0, BC4J and weblogic managed server
Hi, I've got a problem using EJB 3.0 with a BC4J Application module in a weblogic managed server.
My bean is a stateless session bean that use BC4J for database transaction.
When I call the bean the first time, It returns de values I need, without problem. If I do the same call again, I always get "null". I deployed the same bean on the AdminServer, linking to the same DataSource, It works fine and I never got a null result.
My application module is created insid my EJB abstract class by :
_am = (BaseServiceImpl)Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(adfModel, adfConfiguration);*
Where adfModel and adfConfiguration are configured through annotations in my EJB Implementation.
In my abstract EJB, I have a methode with a +@PreDestroy+ method like that :
+@PreDestroy+
*protected void releaseModele() {*
*if (_am != null) {*
Configuration.releaseRootApplicationModule(_am, false);
_am = null;*
My Data Source on the server is defined as Supporting Global Transaction, one-phase commit. I activated the BC4J Logs on the server to see what was going on and I see that the JDBC seems to close after the first call :
*** closing jdbc connection now **** (weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.JTSConnection_oracle_jdbc_driver_T4CConnection@0)
And that is when I've got the error on the server :
oracle.jbo.InvalidObjAccessException: JBO-25036: An invalid object operation was invoked on type View Object with name AppModAD
So, my JDBC connection seems to close somewhere beetween the first and the second call, but only on a managed server... Someone has ever encountered a problem like that?
Maybe there is something with the configuration of a datasource on a managed server? Or with the lifecycle of anThe solution was to NOT have glabal transaction checked in the configuration of the data-source and "Failover Transaction State Upon Managed Release" uncked in the configuration of the Business component configuration.

Hi All,
Can I use OAM 10.1.4.3 (Authentication Provider & Identity Asserter) to implement SSO with weblogic App Server 10.3.0 or below?
OAM 10.1.4.3 Authentication Provider & Identity Asserter is the recommended way to configure SSO with Web Logic App server 10.3.1 ( Oracle Middleware 11g).
And
OAM 10.1.4.2 uses WebLogic SSPI to configure SSO between OAM 10g and WebLogic App Server 10.3.0 or below.Hi,
This is how the integration goes with different versions of WLS and OAM.
There is oamAuthnProvider.jar available with OAM 10.1.4.3 downloads. So it provides the assertion functionality.
Can I use OAM 10.1.4.3 (Authentication Provider & Identity Asserter) to implement SSO with weblogic App Server 10.3.0 or below?
Mahendra: Yes
