Webmail email list

There is a spammy advert in my email list at the top which keeps being replaced by more spam - how do I remove it?
Spam is not appreciated in emails nor is it appreciated displaying at the top of the email list.
Also how do I sort by sender ?
There seems to be only the default sort by date. Is this correct - there is no alternative of Sort by?

Thanks for offering assistance3, but that link was a long conversation that had no answer on removal, so having dome some searching I located the answer.
The only way is to go back to the old version which is far better.
click on 'Sort by date' to get drop down.
click on 'More settings'
Select: 'Viewing email'
Under 'Mail Version' select 'Basic'
click on 'Save'
This removes:
Today, yesterday, last week etc. headings
Removes the spammy advert shown at top of email list as if it were trying to pretend to be the newest unread email.
I've also got the Sort by sorted.
To be honest, the webmail is not very good. So it is best to keep it very basic.
I choose to use Thunderbird email client, but every once in a while I check that the webmail Spam folder and other emails have been correctly deleted.

Well that's the question - how do I create an email list sign up form for my iWeb website?
Could someone tell me what's the simplest way using iWeb to create an interactive option
for users to enter their email address and the info be forwarded to me so I can add to an
email list?
It would be great if, since I'm using a Mac computer & iWeb, there was a way to have the
submitted emails automatically added to a group in my Mac Addressbook.
I got this MacBook Pro in Sept 2010 so I believe that's iWeb '08 I'm using.
Anyway I'm thinking there should be a way to do this with some system involving an HTMK
Widget and an email account.
By the way this is for hosting through a 'real server', not MobileMe (which I plan to get later
when I can afford it).
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Website forms require some code in a snippet and a formmail.php script on the server to process the form and send the info to the required email address. You can do all this when you switch to a "real" server.
In the meantime you can use a form or marketing service or, better still, an application like MailShoot which generates the form, handles the database and sends out the bulk emails.

Eprint loose my "trusted emails list"

I have this very strange behavior.
1 - I log in to the ePRINT center
2 - I select "Locked Mode" and I add the trusted email adress list
3 - I close the browser
Than...I re log to ePRINT center and...
"We will populate the list with your latest senders..."
Email list seem to be lost every time. Any idea on this?
PS:. Before you ask, I remembered to hit "Save"

Try the steps below some users have reported success. Let me know how it goes.
1. Sign into ePrint Center.
2. Click on the allowed senders list and add user as normal.
3. Click save after adding address- do not sign out of ePrint Center.
4. Then send an email to the printer from that sender that you just added.
5. After that email has been received by the printer sign out and then back into ePrint center and check allowed sender list.

Email List mail blocked- How to fix?

Issue: Email from a mailing list is apparently not getting to me.
Questions:
1. Is there a way to view the emails that are caught by the .Mac filters? From what i understand Apple uses several methods of filtering the emails coming to the .Mac users. (At work we use a different system, but we are able to go and unblock "good" emails ourselves.)
2. Is there a way to submit "good" email addresses to the .Mac filters?
3. Should I use a different account for email lists?
Notes: I only saw one recent Thread similar to this and it was unanswered and archived.

I have 2 clients with the exact same problem. Since the iOS update 8.0 their mail apps launch run for a while then kick off to a black blank screen and crashes the mail app, this brings them back to their desktop.
I have done everything from factory restores to changing their mail account types from IMAP/POP/Exchange MAPI this does not solve the problem. We have taken it in to our nearest iStore and they have stated that nothing can be done and that we should hope that the next iOS update fixes the issue. I believe its an OS bug crashing the iOS mail app. I hope APPLE team look into this as if there is no fix on the next update i am going to recommend my clients revert to an older version of iOS and you know what an ordeal that is and what all that requires.
I will keep you posted on my findings but in the meantime i don't think anything can be done.

Is there a way to create a group email list?

I am trying to set up a group email list so I don't need to restyle addresses every time. Easy to do in Outlook but how do I do it on my IPad?

Unfortunately, that isn't possible in the iPad mail app or the contacts app. You cannot create groups or email to groups.
There are third party apps that will allow you to do that. I believe that MailShot and Group Email with Attachments will both let you create groups and mail to them. You can check them out in the App Store.

I thought that was how I did it before ( a year ago ) but the group is created in my Email software but the group won't synch to my phone?! However it will synch randomly - i.e. singular new emails synch from my phone to my computer, but I am not noticing the computer transferring data to my phone...same with calendar...hmmm, maybe that's the problem - issue synching anything entered into my computer first...anyone hear of this? It seems that this started about a month ago, I had to restore my phone and it would not restore with the most recent backup, so I had to go back a couple of back ups... since it has been glitchy! Email list will not display individual addresses and names , only name of list.

First time user of lists. I created a new email list per help instructions-- created just fine. When I try to use it to write, no matter which methods I use, only the list name is displayed. It does send the email to all the addresses, but I want to be able to see all the individual addresses so bcc or removal etc. can be used prior to sending. Any suggestions?

Does the list description include spaces? If so, try to use a name without spaces or replace spaces with "_", there has been a bug about this reported as [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1060901 Bug #1060901]. If you have an account on Bugzilla, please consider voting for that issue.
Several other people have sent in the similar support requests to yous, noting this happened after they upgraded to version 31.1.
The exact error message is: XXXX is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail.

Although not ideal, these workarounds should let you use your mailing lists until a proper fix is implemented:
* While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
* Replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_". This requires modifying your mailing list(s) description(s).
* Downgrade to a previous version and disable automatic updates (Windows)

Q10 IMAP deleted emails displaying on my email list on my Lexus Enform

This is an issue.
With the Lexus enform you can bluetooth connect your Q10 and read IMAP emails in your car.
That is a nice feature. However, something happens with the Blackberry email app and the bluetooth enform connection.
When you delete all your IMAP messages from the Blackberry Q10 so there are no messsages in your inbox those deleted messages are still viewable on your car.
So the Bluetooth is still displaying deleted IMAP emails on the Lexus. How do I delete these emails so they do not continue to display on the Lexus. The Lexus email list is getting long of old read emails.
Comments and ideas?????

Well, I think I know why the rules are not working. The alias mailbox is being listed as another mail folder and not as an actual inbox so the rules are not being applied. While I wish the rules would work, I will continue to manually mark some of the emails as spam.
As for the second issue with emails vanishing, I am waiting to see if it happens again. I think it must happen when it is syncing the data but I am not sure that it happens all the time. Today the previous emails seem to be their and it grabbed the new email so I don't know what happened with the vanishing email. Anyway this can be closed since I believe the main issue has been solved as being a setup issue with Yahoo alias email account.

How can I avoid a pop-up when I'm going from an email to the email list?

I use Mozilla firefox to go online. When I've opened an email I've received and then want to return from that email to the email list, I click "backspace." Half the time, it gets me back to the email list. The other half the time, a window pops up, saying:
"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier" and I have to choose to cancel or resend. I always click resend. I don't want this window to pop-up. When I read an email and then hit the backspace key, I just want to get back to the email list.

Don't use backspace to go back to that page. Either open the link in a new tab with a middle-click and close that tab to go back or click a link to go back to the inbox if there is such a link on that page.

How do I jump to the top of the email list on an iPad?

On the iPhone I can tap the status bar to jump to the top of the list of my unified inbox. But on the iPad that doesn't work. Tapping the center or right of the status bar in iPad email does nothing, tapping on the left side near the Wi-Fi symbol reveals my list of mailboxes. I have to manually swipe and swipe and swipe and swipe to get to the top of my email list. Is there no shortcut?
Having the scrollbar showing position on the list disappear isn't helpful either.

I found the sweet spot mid- way between Inbox and Edit at the very top of the screen. I checked both the iPhone and iPad User Guides and couldn't find any mention of it. Thanks for the tip.

How to create an email list server solution with java

hi all
I would like to create a email list service with java.
(when I say email list service, I mean , you send email and everyone who subscribes to the list receives the email automatically or the email is held in a queue for approval )
this solution would have to be integrated with the emailing standards .
Could someone share with me how one would create a list service with java and how it would work with the email and pick it up ?

Just create a new group and then in the main Address Book window you can just drag the entries you want into the new group you've created!

According to your description, you want to configure subscription for the report to send it to different sets of people. If that is the case, we can achieve your goal by using Data-driven Subscription.
Reporting Services provides data-driven subscriptions so that you can customize the distribution of a report based on dynamic subscriber data. Data-driven subscriptions use query results to determine the recipients of the subscription, delivery settings,
and report parameter values. At run time, the report server runs a query to get values used for subscription settings. We can use the Create Data-driven Subscription pages to define the query and assign query values to subscription settings. For detail information,
please refer to the following steps:
1. Open Report Manager, and locate the report for which you want to create a data-driven subscription.
2. Hover over the report, and click the drop-down arrow.
3. In the drop-down menu, click Manage. This opens the General properties page for the report.
