Webmail not working - can

Question

I just stopped the firewall, activated webmail on my Xserve (under "Sites", double-clicked my website and under options, check webmail), and tried accessing it from Safari running on the same server. While
http://server.org
works fine to serve up my website,
http://localhost/webmail
gives
"Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /webmail on this server"
and
http://localhost:16080/webmail
gives
Safari can't connect to the server. Safari can't pen the page "http://localhost:16080/webmail" because it could not connect to the server 'localhost'."
Any ideas what's going on?

The obvious question is whether you have multiple virtual hosts configured on your server. If you do then each one is likely bound by the hostname - this means that Apache looks at the hostname of the URL you access and uses that to match the virtualhost.
Therefore, if you have a virtualhost setup for 'server.org', then Apache is only going to match requests for http://server.org/ to that virtualhost. Other requests (including 'localhost') will go to other virtualhosts (including the default site which will catch all other hostnames).
Under the Mail service -> Advanced -> Hosting, "Enable virtual hosting" is not checked. Is this what you mean or is there something else? Also, my website works fine when I do http://localhost/
