Webos update; I don't want to how do I cancel once started
My phone is tripping pls someone help..... I don t want to upgrade to the latest webos my phone accidentally went to upgrade mode and I am trying to get it out of that mood I took the battery off like it says not to do thinking that's the only way it would not upload. I tried putting the battery back on and it continually try to update. Does anyone no how to stop this process???? Pls help

This is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge! -

If you don't have an icloud account, then icloud is not the thing that's popping up a window.
If you are being asked to enter a password when accessing itunes, then the problem may be that you have purchased items (apps, songs, etc) on the device that were purchased using a different itunes account than the one you currently have defined on your device.
Purchased items are forever associated with the itunes account (the apple ID) that was used to make the purchase. If you change the ID on the device, you won't be able to update any of them. You'll have to purchase them again. -

If it's an audio podcast and is in the Music app, then on the podcast selection screen press and hold the podcast that you don't want for a couple of seconds and you should get an 'x' on its top left corner - tap that and it should be deleted

My children just got iPods touch. I registered them on my account so they can have acces to my I tunes Acc. Now they have all my list of contacts receive my messages have my music my pics, also when they install an app like pandora they have all my stations, things that they don't want. How can I fix this.
As for iMessage, you do Settings -> Messages (scroll down) -> where it says iMessage, turn the switch to off.
As for pictures, you do Settings -> iCloud -> Photo Stream -> My Photo Stream -> turn switch off.
As for apps, you do Settings -> iTunes & App Stores (scroll down alot) -> Music, Apps, Books are all swtiched off.
If you want to the delete the music, you go onto the music app and slide your finger from right to left on the song. -

Go settings, and in the app for facebook you can uncheck the contacts sync. Same for email, go to mail in settings, and go into the address you dont want to sync. Unsync.

You need to figure out what you have installed which changed that action to Yahoo from a blank tab, which is the default action in Firefox; and then get rid of that add-on. Then you can can install an add-on which allows you to select what you want in the new tab.

I recently installed 10.6.8 on my Imac and now i find i have 2 startup discs which i don't want. How do i erase the old startup disc which uses 10.5.8?

Work files and system files such as Library (i have 3 Libraries now..?)
Also keep geting messages such as "scratch disks full".
Any advice is welcome..Well I would recommend you do have an off internal hard drive backup of all your files before wiping any duplicates off the internal. Once you are certain you have an off internal hard drive backup of all essential files, then use Disk Utility to erase the other partitions.

Need to UPDATE but don't want to lose rankings, last played, playlists, etc
I need to download the new version of iTunes for some reason, in order to buy an ipod and even to download certain songs in the itunes store. This is very annoying.
In the past, when I've updated my itunes to a new version, I've lost the song rankings, playlists, last played info, etc for over 5,000 songs/videos. It was EXTREMELY annoying. I don't want to lose this info again when/if I update my itunes.
I now have over 10,000 songs on an external hard drive, along with the itunes folder/etc. I am using Windows XP. Can anyone here, anyone at all, tell me how I can update to the new version of iTunes without losing this info?
I will not update if I can't be guaranteed that this will work. I do NOT want to lose all this info again.
Thank you! KevinI have an ipod 30gb then i bought a shuffle just because i wanted one. I had to also update my itunes software for that and it kept everything in there perfect. Ive had to update my software many many times actually and nothing ever was deleted.. The only time something was actually deleted was when i didnt update it when it told me to. Id say youd be safe to update it. If you are really worried about it you can back up your music first!!

I record multiple tracks of real instruments and vocals wth Garage Band. I want to share the file with a collaborator so he can add another instrument or two. I have not found a way to do this without the process mixing down the tracks. I don't want them mixed down like when I send them to Itunes. Also I can't seem to just attach a file directly to an email for sending purposes. I thought I saw a method to do this with software instruments, but how do you do it with real instruments? I've tried every process on the "export" list to try to accomplish this, without success. Thanks for any breakthrough advice on this!

But for completeness's sake , you cou can mail a project, if you ctrl-click the project and use "Compress xxx.band". This will compress the project and create a zip file, that you can mail (if it is not too large). But ask your friend for the maximal file size allowed as a mail attachment.
But whichever method you use to share your project, be sure you include all loops and instruments, if your friend does not have the same JamPacks installed. You can bundle the loops into the project by saving it as an archive. "File > Save as" and check the "Archive Project" option.
If this option should be disabled, you can force it to become active by editing your project slightly. It is only available, if the project needs saving.
