Webpage display

Suddenly, Internet explorer is having trouble displaying a certain web page: www.gleim.com.  How do I overcome.  Not having trouble with any other pages.  Working with their tech support as well.

Hi,
Nothing to do with HP products. I can't het into it too. They may die already or you have to wait to get in later.
Regards.

  • How can I make my flash Webpage displayed same size on any screen resolution?

    Hi,
    How can I make my flash Webpage displayed same size on any screen resolution of my computer? Whether it is 1024 X 768 or 1280 X 960 screen resolution, the size of Webpage (Flash Webpage) should always be same so that user don't need to use horizantal scroll bar to view all the content.
    And secondly, how can I scroll my webpage vertical on moving with my mouse like in the following link: The below link also shows that it's webpage size is always same on any screen resolution.

  • CRM PCUI (Imp):   Adding new fields  &  Webpage display in ODC1

    Hi Gurus,
    Plz help in these PCUI related configurations:
    <b>Query 1</b>.
    PCUI: Adding ‘custom created’ field in a new TAB (BSP Iview)
    Steps Done
    a. “Custom field” defined in an object (say Opportunity)
    b. An ‘event’ created.
    c. A ‘Group Tab Page’ created
    d. A ‘Field group‘ created and a new ‘field name’ added to the “field group” … (What structure need to be added to this field group?)
    e. Entry made in ‘Application Layout’ for an application i.e. event / position / screen element / tab page / structure…. (Again what structure to be added?)
    To handle this new field & tab, plz advice
    1. What needs to be entered in the screen structure? Do we need to create this structure?
    2. The required the model access class defined for the screen structure.
    3. Any changes required in the controllers
    <u><i>(Where is the linking between “custom field’ defined in the opportunity object and the “new field entry” made in the filed group)</i></u>
    <b>Query 2.</b>
    Calling a webpage in a tab (ODC1, Detail area)
    Opening a webpage in an iview can be done easily by reating a URL iview.
    If the requirement is to open a web page in ODC1, than what are the steps required for the same?
    e.g. On clicking a ‘user defined tab’ the webpage should open in the “detail area 1”.
    <b>Query 3.</b>
    We have extended an object (say field addition in opportunity header) through EEWB
    Will the added filed be available in PCUI screen also?

  • Dreamweaver webpage display

    Dreamweaver does not display my webpage as it looks on my
    website - The fonts are all wrong!
    This makes it difficult to make changes in Dreamweaver since
    it does not display properly. Are my CSS not working? Please
    help!

    Is it just the fonts that aren't displaying correctly or
    other aspects of
    your page (in DW?)
    VIEW|STYLE RENDERING Menu - do you have SCREEN MEDIA TYPE
    TICKED and
    DISPLAY STYLES ticked?
    It could be an inheritence issue with the way you have the
    classes set up.
    If you are using Tahoma for the majority of the site, why not
    set that font
    on the body element and then only change the smaller areas to
    another font
    when needed.
    Do you have Tahoma on your system? (silly question maybe, but
    if you don't
    then you will see a default font).

  • Webpage displayed using Adobe Flash is cropped on left, right & bottom, but not when using Chrome or IE.

    A webpage I use to display the data for my solar panels uses Adobe Flash and it used to display OK, but several versions of Firefox ago it became truncated on three sides so you can't see the whole thing. I can post a picture that shows all three browsers displaying this page and it is cropped only in Firefox. I'm running the latest Firefox (27.0.1) and Adobe Flash. This has been going on for at least one year. I don't notice the problem when I'm at home, but only when I'm at work. In both cases I have dual 1920x1200 displays. I have tried turning off hardware assist, but that changes nothing.

    You can also try to right-click the Flash object to see if this object is zoomed.
    You can try to clear the Flash local storage and settings for this web page.
    *Windows Control Panel > Flash Player > Storage: Local Storage Settings
    **Remove a specific domain: Local Storage Settings by site
    **Remove all domains: Delete All and Delete Data

    all I want is the content to be centered on all resolutions. How am I to this?
    APDivs as a primary layout method seldom works well. Here is why:
    http://apptools.com/examples/pagelayout101.php
    Don't use positioning.  You don't need it except in very rare situations.  APDivs are removed from the normal document flow, so centering them is impossible unless you wrap them all inside a relative positioned parent element.
    Best advice, start over with one of the centered, fixed-width layouts that comes with Dreamwever.
    Go to File > New > Blank page > HTML > Layouts (choose one from the right side panel).  Hit Create button.
    Use CSS floats, margins & padding to align elements.
    Btw, I am not too good with coding/css
    That's a shame.  You should get up to speed with code basics soon otherwise DW will continue to frustrate you.

  • How do I make webpages display as if I am in the US?

    For example, money will be displayed as £ instead of $, or go to google.co.uk instead of google.com. Is there some way I can make the computer/browser think I am in the US?

    hello, websites might determine your location based on the [http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/network-location/ ip address] your isp is assigning to you - there's no way for a browser to change that, unless you're using a proxy or vpn service with an ip placed in the us...

  • Webpage displays correctly only in safe mode

    A pop up window on ebay does not show correctly in Firefox. It shows correctly (fully displaying all information) in Safari and Chrome.
    I reset Firefox, still same issue.
    The weird thing is, it displays properly in Safe Mode.
    I noticed that once the pop up window is open and if I scroll down to hide the pop up window either on top or the bottom of the screen, and then scroll back to display the popped up window, IT DISPLAYS ALL CONTENT PROPERLY!
    If I only scroll up or down to hide HALF the popped up window, it will literally only show half the content that was hidden from view for a second and the rest of the content in the pop up window does not show ALL the contents.
    I can't figure out what is causing this. There are no extensions installed. I tried disabling ALL the plug-ins. Same issue.
    Any ideas what is causing this?

    If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
    Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox"; Linux: "Firefox/File > Quit")
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
    Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings and that you allow pages to choose their colors in Firefox.
    *Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

  • Webpage displays differently in safari

    Hi,
    I'm having some trouble getting my website to display correctly in safari. It's fine in chrome and firefox but for some reason not safari. Thi is how  it is supposed to look:
    whereas this is how it displays in safari:
    the site is located at http://www.shanghainightsbristol.co.uk/shanghai-new/
    any help would be muc appreciated!
    thanks,
    Chris.

    WTF? I'm confused - why are you using the image below to get a white background in the .middlecontent-back <div>?????
    http://www.shanghainightsbristol.co.uk/shanghai-new/whiteback.png
    If you want a white back just add background-color: #FFF; (as below) and comment out the background image as shown:
    .middlecontent-back {
        width: 1020px;
        height: 777px;
        float: left;
        /* background: url(http://www.shanghainightsbristol.co.uk/shanghai-new/whiteback.png) repeat-x #FFF;*/
        background-color: #FFF;
        margin-top:25px;
        margin-bottom:25px;

  • Webpage display crazy

    Hey,
    I got my MacBookPro as present yesterday. When surfing through the internet, some pages are crazily displayed, it is just a colorful, pixelmass all over. Tried to do a screenshot but it just saves a black nothing. Any idea what this is and how I can fix it?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
    Tell the gift giver you got a lemon. Pixelmass usually means trouble with the graphics chip. You can verify this with this article:

  • Webpage/Display issue

    Ok, so I'm encountering a problem. most of the time when I click on a link from an email or from maunually typing in an address, it will go to open the page in firefox, go thru the loading process, then not display anything but a white screen. Sometimes, Ill leave it alone for a brief period of time(30mins) and go back to it and it will show the page, other times wont even at all, and will not even it after powering down the phone or or killing the app... any inklings/ideas? Was thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling but figured id ask here before doing anything.
    heres what im running:
    (mot droid4)
    firefox vs 21.0
    android 4.1.2

    Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
    The Firefox cache temporarily stores images, scripts, and other parts of websites while you are browsing. <br>
    Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
    To clear cache and cookies, do the following:
    #Tap the menu icon located at the top right corner. This is the icon with 3 bars. On older Android devices you'll have to press the hardware menu key and then tap More.
    #Tap '''Settings'''.
    #After that, you will be taken to the settings screen. In the settings screen, look under the section '''''Privacy & Security''''' and select '''Clear private data'''.
    #You will then be taken to a list of what can be cleared. Select the following 2 for deletion:
    #*Cookies & active logins
    #*Cache
    #After those have been selected, tap the '''Clear data''' button to actually clear the cache and cookies.

  • LHow to change configuration of webpage display?

    Website (gwi.net) displays most pages correctly. In 1 section (webmail) pages are incorrectly displayed, the image is displayed in huge format and only a portion of the actual image fits in the display screen. GWI support tells me that the problem can be solved in my browser, firefox 18.0. I've recently started using an Asus laptop running Windows 8, both of which I am learning how to use. Please help! Thanks!!

    If you click the image, does it resize itself? In web pages, huge images will show a mouse pointer with a minus sign on it, and resize if I click on them.

  • Safari 6 screwing up how webpages display

    Is it me or has anyone else noticed that websites like banking are showing up all screw up in Safari 6? I can't use at all the latest Safari for my banking as buttons and windows are not longer visible or they are showing up overlapping with other fields making them not just impossible to click but impossible to navigate. Just frustrating... I haven't installed Mt. Lion yet as I'm very leery what other screw-up surprises awaits for users to get irritated and frustrated with. So, at this point I can't fully say I'm enjoying the new browser experience as I have to go and use competitor browsers to get things I need to get done which this latest 6.0 build does not allow me now to do. I've been looking for a plug-in or something but no luck
    Anyone else on the same boat? Were you able to fix it?

    So far all my banking websites. I just found out that my refriigerator is not working! So, I went into Safari 6.0 pulled the website of a local repair shop. Filled in their repair service form and when I click submit NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING happened! I pulled the Opera web browser and it worked like a charm! NO PROBLEMS. NO ISSUES. I'm just getting tired of this crap with Apple to be honest. It's so frustrating. And still with Safari 6.0 there is no way to sort automatically your bookmarks or sort them in alpha order manually... and this is supposed to be a state of the art browser? Really??? Can't use for what I'm finding business websites as I had in the past and still basic key features missing... Not happy at all. I'd wish I could unistall Safari 6.0 and go back to my reliable and working previous version.
