Webpage won't open completely

I use an interactive webpage for maps, you can zoom in, move around add layers. etc. It worked before I loaded the 10.9.5 update last night and does work with Firefox, is there a plug in missing? or something else? I reloaded adobe flash and java script.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click:   Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

• Some webpages won't open on any browser!

Hi!
So, certain webpages simply won't open!
I have a wireless network set up, and my laptop can open them while connected to the same network, my iPod too.
I've tried everything , from setting my MTU(gave no results), cleaning my cookies(as FF help suggests), but nothing works.
The webpages just say that there was a problem with loading the page, although it loads on an another computer.
Help please!

• How do I fix this? Dialog boxes won't open completely and competion boxes don't work.

I'm using a Mac Book Air and OS X Lion 10.7.5. Firefox has been hanging up periodically and recovers after closing and re-opening, but the the frequency of hangups has been increasing. All other programs operate correctly and don't hang up. This also happens in safe mode. I've removed and reinstalled Firefox several times, but the problems remain. I've disabled all plug-ins and the problems remain. I'm led to believe that some Firefox files that are not replaced by reinstalling are corrupted and causing these problems. Also...I have screen shots but am unable to upoad them.

lannit,

Firefox reinstall, does not remove profiles from pre-existing installs:
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from mozilla.org (or choose the download for your operating system and language from this page) and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (or open the Firefox menu and click the close button ).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
#*Windows:
#**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
#**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Installing Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
More information about reinstalling Firefox can be found here.
<b>WARNING:</b> Do not use a third party uninstaller as part of this process. Doing so could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and saved passwords. <u>These cannot be easily recovered unless they have been backed up to an external device!</u> See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. <!-- Starting in Firefox 31, the Firefox uninstaller no longer lets you remove user profile data.Ref: Bug 432017 and https://support.mozilla.org/kb/uninstall-firefox-from-your-computer/discuss/5279 [Fx31] Windows uninstaller will no longer offer the option to remove personal data -->

• Server Error in '/' Application. - WEBPAGE WON'T OPEN??!

when i'm connected to the internet, every website seems to work fine, except on one site, which up until this last week has always been fine.
the page comes up with this:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
I have no idea what that means and no idea how to sort it out.
Any ideas?

• My 4s SIM card slot is jammed- won't open completely

My SIM card seems to have slipped inside the slot and I can't get the 'drawer ' open now. It is a perfect phone which is useless until I can fix this. I took it to the apple store and they told me that they couldn't reach the sim with the back off, and wouldn't take the back off for me to try.

If they can't extract the SIM without opening the iPad (which no service center is authorized to do), and you can't manage to get it out yourself, then you'll probably have to pay Apple's out-of-warranty replacement price and get the iPad replaced. Use of a cut-down SIM is not covered under warranty.
Regards.

Ok two things based on the crash report and the steps you took right before the crash:
# Try to disable scrolling acceleration and restart Firefox. Does it continue to crash?
# Try Safe Mode and do the same task as above with email and the pdf Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode
# Also pdf.js may be helpful to read pdfs in the meantime. You can change the default reader in the Preferences/Options > Application menu of Firefox.
# Try to clear out the downloads folder and update flash to version 14 (that should do it)
IF it crashes again please also provide the new crash signatures and we can take a look :-) Sorry for the crashing :-(

• Message's won't open on mac due to overloaded message.

I sent a very extended message (anywhere from 1000-3000 characters) to my girlfriend as a joke, the message caused Messages to crash on both our iphones and our macbook pros. Our messages on our iPhones now work but only after restoring them to a previous backup. As far as our macbooks go, it won't open completely because as soon as it starts to load it won't respond. The closest I get is seeing all my conversations in the left tab, and the conversation window is blank and you can't do anything with it. I've tried everything to the point of reinstalling Mountain Lion.
So basically I'm looking for a way to reset or reinstall Messages so it won't reload that conversation that keeps causing it to not respond. I can't even delete the conversation because like I said before, it won't respond.
Please help, my girlfriend is not very pleased with me.

Nevery mind lol, apparently just allowing the computer to sit there and load for about a half hour did the trick haha, who would thought.

• HT204407 App won't open... Installed it, added friends, used it a few times and now it opens for a brief moment with no options to touch and then closes

App won't open completely.  I touch it, it opens, no options to touch.  Then it closes

Try quitting it completely by double tapping the homebutton twice and closing the app at the bottom of the screen. If this doesn't help:
Try deleting the problematic app and then re-downloading the app from the app store.
You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option which is revealed by tapping the updates option at the bottom of the screen of the App store app on your iOS device.

• Upgraded to Lion and Safari won't open.  I have completed all available software upgrades, reset the macbook several times, no luck.  Any suggestions?

I'm using a 2008 macbook 10.7.4 operating system.
I had purchased lion a while ago but had to wait for a fast internet connection to download and install.
I did that today and now safari won't open.
I have reported the issue as it does automatically.
But obviously I would love to have a solution to the problem.
I do have time machine and completed a back-up just before upgrading to Lion - so if I have to I can reverse back to snow leopard, but that's a last resort.
Any solutions or work-arounds for this?  I can't seem to find any other solutions from the blogs.

Before anything else...try...
Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Preferences
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari. If that helped, move the.plist file to the Trash. If not, move it back to the Preferences folder.

Hi. My device won't update iOS in settings. It won't download any new apps for me. (It is connected to the internet). The latest app I tried to download appears stuck! Has not completed its  download, won't open and I cannot delete it. What can I do? I purchased the product online a year ago. I'm not sure of the exact date... I think it was late November 2012.
Any help appreciated.

If this has happened more than once the problem is likely on your PC.

• Safari launches, but won't open any webpage, including Safari

Installed Safari. Installation seemed uneventful, but when I attempt to launch Safari the window and menu bars will open but that's it. It won't open Safari's home page or any other. All I get is a blank window. What did I do wrong?

I have no idea how to deal with a "proxy issue." All I get is the Safari opening window and toolbar and the line, Loading "http://www.apple.com/startpage/" at the top, but it does nt open. I think I'm going to have to remove Safari. I use it on my other computers, but is simply won't work on this one and I'd love to know why. I tried the "develop" suggestion suggested by another person but all I get is a blank window with "Web Inspector" at the tip. I'm stumped, but appreciate efforts to help. Even if I have to dump Safari, I'd sure like to know what the glitch is. I've installed it twice.
