Webpages are not loading/downloading content properly.

Almost all webpages I am visiting are not loading properly. The font appears very large, the images do not download, and there is no flash/animation.
I have tried closing and reopening Firefox, and I already have the updated version installed. I did not see any available options in "View" to change the look of the pages. The pages this problem are most noticeable on are: www.msn.com, www.wellsfargo.com, and www.kob.com.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

The App store tells me "all downloads are complete", however, the downloads are not loading and i still have the message "waiting" with no ability to complete the installations.

Try disabling anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

I have to click the link several time before it will load and sometimes when they do load it does not show the page right. It is like the HTML is messed up or something. I have tried everything I can think of. I started in safe mode, still did it., I removed add-ons, still did it., I reset Firefox and still did it., I completely uninstalled Firefox and re-installed Firefox and it still does it. I have tried Malware Bytes Anti-Malware scans and Avast boot-time scans and found no malware or viruses. I have found that those websites open the first time with no problems on my IE9 and they used to do so in Firefox 26.0. I'm at my wit's end. The website links are in my bookmarks and are used all the time so they are trusted and my avast is set to allow them. They range from news websites to gun websites and everything I have read says that Mozilla does not filter those unless something has changed recently.

Everything is up to date including last version of Adobe Flash. And watching YouTube also a problem. Video is skipping, freezing for few seconds and jumps forward. At the same time on Toshiba with Windows Vista under the same account, same wi-fi connection everything works fine.

Seems like problem is solved but it might be temporarily. Anyway. Click on the image, it will open facebook photo browser. Image is not loading so right click on the blue box with question mark, save image as. It will start downloading but without any success since browser do not see the image. After this attempt refresh the page and close all tabs with facebook. Try to open facebook once again. For some reason after this weird actions all images displayed properly. Do not know for how long but now it works.

Webpages are not as wide as my 17" monitor. There is space on both sides. Explorer does not do this. Zooming in does not help. Is there a fix?

I installed firefox as I heard it is better than exployer. The problem is that the webpages are not as wide as my screen. They reach from top to bottom, but not to each side. I look at the same pages on exployer and they are "full screen". The zoom only makes the fonts larger. It does not make it fit the screen. I hope there is a fix.

Thanks for all the help. I downloaded the extension from the second post. It seems to have fixed my problem. Some pages still load in the "narrow" format, but I can zoom them out and they fill the whole page. Firefox seems to remember the zoomed version the next time that I load the page. Happy for now.

Several Internet-related Apps are not loading

- our internet stopped working for a few days and had to be re-programmed, and now my app store, itunes, facebook and abc iview are not loading, as well as several web pages. I'm only having this problem on my iPad 2 64gb not on any of our other apple products (eg. iphone, ipod touch)
- Google works fine. Facebook will load notifications, but will not actually display pages. iView will display what shows have been uploaded, but will not load the actual programs. itunes, and the app store are yet to load anything, except for update pages (except these were only basic webpages with hyperlinks instead of icons).
- I've both hard, and soft reset. Reset internet settings. Reset all settings. Connectioning up to a computer. Refreshing the apps. I have not yet attempted to reset to factory settings, because it will really be a nusiance and I'm hesitant to do it if I have no assurance it will work, although I will if I have no other option.

Logic froze while I was working on something so I forced quit. Now every time I open LOGIC a message pops up that says:
"Error reading/writing file
“com.apple.logic.pro.cs”:
Logical end-of-file reached during read operation."
The only button option is cancel so I press it and another message appears that says:
"The Preferences are not loaded completely.
Do not save them, as you would overwrite the Preferences file with incomplete data."
Then when i close logic a box appears saying:
"The Preferences are not loaded completely.
Save them to "com.apple.logic.pro.cs" anyway?"
There are 3 button options to press; ok, cancel or dont save.
I press "don’t save" cuz I don't want to ruin anything.

If I do this will I loose or mess anything up at all, automation, saved channel strips customizations, saved effects, synth, or ultrabeat customizations etc? Or especially will I loose any work I've done? I have hundreds pieces of music files I've created. I'm scared to mess anything up with all the hours and months of work I've done. Is there anyway to fix this without loosing anything? I'm using Logic Pro 8.

You can safely delete this file - its the preference file for control surface settings - you haven't said whether you're actually using a control surface or not, if so, you will have to set it up again. A new file will be created when you fire Logic up again, but of course it will contain default settings. If you have a complicated control surface setup, remember to keep a backup copy somewhere in case any future problems arise.
Other than that, you really have nothing to be scared about - hopefully your problem is as simple as that and there isn't an underlying problem (a corrupt hard drive, for example). You seem concerned about losing work, so I guess you want to think about backing that up on a regular basis too. If you're saving your projects to your system drive, do get an external one for this. And also check that you have plent of free space on your system drive - you need to keep about a quarter or third of it free for your OS and programs to run properly (some temporarily stored files can be quite large).

I have McAffee and ran their quick clean to clean up files. I forget to modify the settings and my active x controls were deleted. Now my webpages are not working normal.

Firefox doesn't use ActiveX controls. Only IE uses them.
