Webprinting Opera Web Browser Plug-In for P1102 w

Is there one?  How I just arrived and I doubt it but anyone?  Just curious cuz Opera is very very coder friendly and right-on-the-ball in terms of staying up to snuff...I just wouldn't know how to Plug this WebPrinting into Opera is all...can I?

I looked through the source code on the html pages, there is some javascript detection. I'm running Win2k and IE 6 and don't have the 6.1 run-time engine on the machine and get prompted to install it.
If you view source of any of the live experiment pages search for "ftp.ni.com" and that should take you to the right place in the html for the script.
Johnathan's post mentiond that NS is only supported for versions greater than 4.7 so that might be one issue with your current setup. I'm sure there has got to be a way to detect your browser version too and then inform people that if they're using an older version they need to upgrade to view the remote panel. Of course, I said I'm sure it's possible which doesn't mean I know myself ho
w to do it ;-) I have seen it on some sites when functionality isn't available for older versions like NS 3.x
One other thing, depding on how you're going to deploy the application and how much control you have over the machines accessing the pages. If the detection is a javascript based detection then you might want to include a detection to make sure people have javascript turned on in the first place. If you think that would be useful let me know and I'll try and see if I can find something.
I'm waiting to hear back from somebody on the NS issues and to confirm the javascript working for both browsers. I'll let you know as soon as I have more information.
Best of luck,

  • Web browser plug-in for publishing a front panel

I have a number of automated systems operating through the corporation. Support is becoming an issue. I plan on running an application on a server, the front panel will look like a 'tech support request form'. Accessed through a browser, users on the LAN will access the "form" and log in a support request. On the back end the VI will log the request to a DB and email me to alert me to the issue
Just read in an excerpt of the LTR that to accomplish this the client machines must have:
"To operate remote panels from a browser, you must first have the LabVIEW 6.1 run-time engine and browser plug-in installed on the client machine."
The runtime engine is no problem, but what , and where, is the br
owser plug-in? and will it operate with both/either Netscape / IE?

  • Browser plug-in for ejre1.4.2

    Hi,
I tested the ejre1.4.2 on my Atmel at91sam9263 platform and it works fine in Linux. However, it does not come with browser plug-in. Unfortunately, other Jave SE embedded packages do not work with this armv5 processor. Is it possible to get a web browser plug-in to work with this ejre1.4.2? I googled for a java web plug-in and found things like icedtea-gcjwebplugin, gcjwebplugin and classpath. Anybody know whether they works with ejre?
    Many thanks,
    Derek

Hi, assuming your are referring to Jeffrey Freidl then can I just say that his plug-ins add so much more flexibility to any that might already exist in LR and I think he only expects the minimum set by Paypal as the minimum donation.
You can try them for a number of days before deciding to donate.
I did and I wouldn't be without them.

maybe make a test on this website if you are also using Sun Java

Using the beta 2 version... It's much faster than the previous, however it crashes with this web site.. (Guess java's the problem)

  • E71 web browser will search for WLAN connection in...

The E71 web browser will search for and present a list of WLANs whilst the phone is in offline mode without asking first. When you then select a WLAN from the list, it does ask if you wish to create a WLAN connection in offline mode. Surely it should ask before searching?

With new FW i can't set, that browser ask me.
Before new SW , browser alwasy give me an option to choose wlan connection..
I this a bug in new FW ?

  • Oracle Wireless / WDK and Opera web browser

    Hi everybody,
I am trying to access a XHTML-MP application, delivered by the Oracle WDK (10.1.2.0), from an Opera web browser 6.31 (on a Sony Ericsson P800 phone). Unfortunatly that browser does not seem to be well supported: tables are not well rendered.
Does anyone there experienced such configuration and is there a way to upgrade the WDK since Opera seems to be supported by the MCS/Oracle Wireless Server (full version)?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Fabrice.

    Fabrice,
Please let us know if you still need help w/ this post.

  • Unable to open PDF in Web Browser and delay for printing

In my LAN, on several PCs running with Windows 7 (32 and 64 bits), I observe two problems with "Acrobat Reader XI":
    - Delays / unable to open pdf files in the web browser (Internet Explorer).
    - Delays in printing: for example it takes over 8 minutes to print a pdf file: 400kB for two pages (on different printers / models).
Here's the list of actions that I've allready tried to issue those problems:
For the Web Browser problem :
    - Repair the "Acrobat Reader XI" installation.
    - Uninstalling and Installing Acrobat Reader.
    - In the web browser, disabling and activating the add-on (Adobe PDF Reader).
    - Uninstall "Acrobat Reader XI" and install "Acrobat Reader X"
Temporary issue: downgrade to "Acrobat Reader 9", which solves the problem with the web browser.
    For the printing delay:
    - Repair the "Acrobat Reader XI" installation
    - Change the printers drivers (install Universal Drivers PCL)
    - Check the box: "Print As Image" before printing
    Any Idea ?

You can get that error if there is still an old Adobe Reader plugin in the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder.
    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\nppdf32.dll

  • Help to remove opera web browser from OSX

    Hi
Trying to remove opera from my mac (osx 10.5.5)
    I have deleted the application
I have deleted the preferences in the libary
All as per instructions on opera web site.
    However
When I still see the option
    "open file with"
    opera 9.1
    opera 9.2
If i do that opera opens !
If i open the activity monitor with it running I look at files, there is no path for the application. (not shown)
But its not on my system, I have done complete search for it its not there but it is.
I dont want it, I want it gone.
    thanks

I share the same frustration as Robin
Not a major issue, but I would also like to remove Opera as I never use it. However, like Robin, I have not managed to find where it is stored, even after searching high and low.
I agree that is seems to follow Adobe Photoshop (or Elements), but where on earth have they hid it??
And if anyone has a solution - does it "mess" with Photoshop in any way if removed?
    All the best,
    Espen

  • Which web browser to download For iPad

    Which web browser to download

    1. Any reason you don't want to use the built-in Safari Browser?
    2. What features do you need in the browser?  As that will be very important when suggesting one. i.e file uploading, download management, media playback options?
    3. This forum is for Safari on a Mac. I'll request your post be relocated to the iPad Forum.

  • Opera web browser

I really like Opera and have use it for a few years now has my preferred browser.
However the last few version's for the PPC are constantly crashing on my G4 12".
Any one else here experiencing the same issue's ?

The two things that gave Opera the biggest headaches are Flash and mouseover menus in Javascript. If you disable these, it should run smoothly. Unfortunately many sites have adopted newer standards, and aren't following the http://www.anybrowser.org/ philosophy. Suggest that website to those who don't.

  • SQL*Plus vs web/browser admin interface for 10g Express

hello, I'm a newbie in Oracle. Seem like I executed the setup script using SQL*Plus successfully (the scrpt CREATE TABLE then INSERT setup data) but seems like Oracle 10g Express web/browser interface tells me the setup data has never been inserted into the tables created?!

I then closed SQL*Plus and tried to browse via :

I ran the count(1) SQL again just to check. The table is empty?! I logged into SQL*Plus AND 10g web interface using same credential dev/dev. Not sure what's happening why I can see data from SQL*Plus but not web/browser admin interface

  • Web browser log in for wifi? how to

I am required to log in through a web browser to use internet in my apt. How do I do this on my ATV after connecting to the network?
Found the network and connected fine, now it needs to log in, but I am not sure how.

the appletv does not support this, so you will not be able to connect the appletv directly to that wifi network.
your only solution is to log on to the wifi on your pc/laptop and then share it back out so that the appletv can connect to that.
