WEBS SITES DOESN'T OPEN WELL

Since 3-4 days, I can not see any Web Site - all and any time desconfigurated - using Firefox.

Firefox is perfectly apdated. I didn't try a different browser. I need to update Flashplayer, but i can't ,because website does not open !!!!!!

It opens for me OK, though it is very slow. If waiting a bit doesn't do it you could try clearing your browser's cache.

I cant find information, how to changes the web site when I open a second tab. Example: when I open Firefox my home page is google and that is perfect but when I open a second tab, why appears yahoo as home page? I want to changes that and I cant find how to do it . Thanks

The normal behavior is to open a blank tab, an add-on will be causing it to display Yahoo. One add-on that does this is the freeze net assistant, if you have that one you can uninstall it and it should revert to opening a blank tab.
There are add-ons that let you specify what should open in a new tab, such as:
* NewTabURL - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/newtaburl
* New Tab Homepage - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage
Another way of opening the home page in a new tab is to middle click on the home button in the navigation toolbar.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Font Size and the scale (size) at which a document is printed is controlled within the application just before the job is sent to the printer - this means the size is set from your browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer) or perhaps your Editor (Word). Generally speaking, most applications use Print Preview -- or a variation of that program under a different name.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Password entry is on web site, seperate window opens in FF, not allowing log in

Password entry block is located on Web site, but Firefox opens another window asking for a password, which the site does not accept the password once entered in Firefox block.

That makes it difficult for us to troubleshoot, can you give us a screenshot of that "separate window" that opens and asks for a password?

Muse: error 1009: site doesn't open at all

I've been working on a portfolio website with the muse beta version, but since yesterday I have been getting an error when I try to open it, I doesn't open at all any more.
It gives the following error:
Adobe Muse encountered an unexpected error and will have to be terminated.
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
I've tried updating Muse to the non-beta trial version (didn't help), and a friend tried to open it on his computer (didn't help either). I starting to run out of ideas of how to solve this. Does anyone know what I could do to fix this?

On could almost figure a virus has crept into the programme as I cannot believe software engineering at this level could produce something so awful, presuming it went through the normal QA procedure. The previous version worked well for me but now Muse is unusable:
Since the 2014.2 update I get the same "error 1009" to practically everything I try to do - create/open site, drag widget onto page, align image, place image, every command link I click on etc etc. causes the programme to crash with an attempt to reopen site. Going around in circles and it seems this problem has reared its ugly head some time ago looking at these pages with similar problems going back to 2011.
I also get a strange message on each of the links from the custom welcome/start page inviting you to create/open, or got to whats new or getting started pages. On each of the pages connected to these links is a picture of a dog in a round window with the name "Sophie" curiously written under each dog - different dog on each page - nice - but more worryingly an "err= URL/ blahh blah etc etc - stack overflow ding bat wotsit" computer says no message appears on each of the pages in gigantic type clearly screaming that all is not well ....
I did manage to close the start page and start directly from the programme menu instead to open sites or try to create a new site but invariably, within minutes, it will crash with the same "error 1009" message which is clearly looking for something it cannot find.
I would laugh my head off if it wasn't so tragic...... I need to move forward (not backwards) now I cannot use Flash for mobile web design projects without being subjected to another high learning curve. Not particularly impressed with HTML5 or Jqwerty so far and its generic, buggy accordion sites we are being forced to go to on our 336 ppi smartphones although I admit I am a graphic designer not a programmer.

Web site will not open on a Mac

A friend has helped me to develop a simple web site in Flash
which I use to manage my photo galleries, which are created with
Lightroom or Photoshop. I am familiar with most of Adobe CS3 except
Flash or Dreamweaver, but I can get by with just editing text and
uploading new galleries, so the site works really well for me.
Unfortunately I have received feedback from people using
Safari or Camini browsers and the Mac OS that the site will not
open. They just see black and the message "Get Flash". The site
works great on a PC using both I Explorer and Safari.
I have no knowledge of how to overcome this problem and not
having access to a Mac, no way to "fiidle about" and experiment. I
would very much appreciate some advice from anyone in the know. The

your site is doing a strict check for a certain version of
the flash plug-in, 9.0.45. It's probably not necessary to go that
far, just checking for version 9.0 should be fine. The Mac is only
up to 9.0.47 and many people are going to have a .28 version, which
gets refused by your script.

I'll try to be thorough:
I created a site with iWeb - It is band site.
I uploaded/published the site to godaddy.com, along with my URL www.momsgreatweed.com
If I access the URL from the Mac on which I created the site, it works fine, in SAFARI only (not firefox) even after having emptied the cache.
On all other computers (Mac and PC) I cannot open the "Tunes" page, which has a flash player and 10 mp3 files.
I receive the following error:
To view this page, you must log into area "me.com" on idisk.mac.com:80
Needless to say, this is making me slightly insane. I can't possibly be the only person to ever experience this issue. I did call GoDaddy "tech support"; but a 30 minute call turned out to be useless.
Please, before I pull my hair out...any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Today, when I tried to open web sites in Firefox from my Bookmarks, I could not. I continually received the following error message: This web site does not supply identity information.
I noticed that when I put the cursor on the box to the left of the address, that message appears. There is also '''no''' https:// before the address.
Can anyone help correct this problem? I believe sometime last week I may have fiddled with the Secutity settings in the Tools/Security option box and may have screwed up something trying not to have sites use cookies to track me?

You can set the pref browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false on the about:config page to see the http: protocol.
You can set the pref browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled to false on the about:config page to disable the highlighting of the domain and see the full URL more clearly.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Web site hangs when opened

I've posted a web site gallery, and everyone who's tried it reports that it opens the page, but no images load - until they press 'reload' on their browser. I always experience the same, on both platforms. It DOES load images instantly when I press the 'reload' though. Any idea why this would happen? The web site host has no idea (and they're usually pretty good).

Removing that had no effect, but I think its possibly a code issue, though it effects both PCs and Macs. I suspect it has to do with checking for something, but I wouldnt know.
 
 On the other hand, Dreamweaver, showing the page code, shows the following (notice the errors about 4 lines down) problem regarding the language. The line thats
 
 The last part: lang=en xml:lang=en>
 Is indicated in red underline. Dont know if it can be removed or even if its indeed incorrect (Dreamweaver indicates its a problem). The error says that the lang tag is not supported in Explorer and Netscape. Of course, I'm running Safari! Heres more of the code, from the top:
