Webservice soap wsdl generation

Hi Experts,
Please Help Me,
Systems. ThirdParty (PHP Portal) --> SAP PI--> SAP ECC
1: What is best practise to add ThirdParty as business service or business system.
Scenario1: TirdParty Request for emp address based on the emp id here emp address in sap ecc.
i would like to use SOAP TO PI TO RFC (req & res bapis)
2. this scenario thirparty will generate wsdl  and import to SAP PI or SAP PI side should generate wsdl.

1. business service
2. you should generate wsdl from sender agreement in SAP PI (Integration Builder)

  • Pro: SOAP to RFC, WSDL generation

    Hi Frnd,
I  am getting problem in the WSDL Generation from the ID,
When i generated it first time i was getting the following in the    Soap:address
    <soap:address location="http://vessxip01:8001/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_PWS:CC_PWS_WeighVoidData_SOAPsend&version=3.0;Sender.Service=BS_PWS;Interface=+urn%3Aveoliaes%3APWSTransaction%3ASAPR3toPWS%5EMIout_WeighVoidData" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" />
But When i am generation it again i am getting the following  for the same tag,   SOAP:Address
    <soap:address location="http://vessxip01:8001/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel:BS_PWS:CC_PWS_WeighVoidData_SOAPsend&version=3.0;Sender.Service=BS_PWS;Interface=urn%3Aveoliaes%3APWSTransaction%3ASAPR3toPWS%5EMIout_WeighVoidData" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" />
When we look concentrate i found " + " sign is missing in the next generation.
Please tell me what is the meaning of "+" sign, and why it is not comming in the regeneration of the WSDL.
Where as first one is working fine and the second one is not working.
    Thanks,
    Raj.

The WSDL format that you are using is configured to hit the Integration Engine....hence the port number that you use should be that of the Integration Engine......
Now from where will i get this information:
    1) Open SAP GUI --- tcode /nSXMB_ADM ---> Integration Engine Configuration ..... you will see the port here.... so if it is 8001 you need to use 8001 in the above URL.....
    2) RWB --> Component Monitoring --> Integration Engine --> Test Message .....you can again see the port over here....
If i am not wrong 5XX00 is supposed to be used (mandatory) from PI7.1 onwards.....
Please tell me what is the meaning of "+" sign, and why it is not comming in the regeneration of the WSDL.
absolutely no idea :(.........but never saw a wsdl format with "+" sign in it.....
please correct me for any incorrect information given by me
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • Error after import external webservice(RFC) wsdl url to Process Composer

    Hi all,
I try to use RFC webservice in my BPM as below:
    1. Expose RFC as webservice using CAF (import external service RFC and then create application service use this external service)
    2. Define Destination in NWA.
    3. Create a Process Composer project, and import the external webservice(RFC) wsdl file as service interface in the project.
After importing, i get error : the port type specified for the ...binding is undefined. Check port type name and ensure it is defined.
If i import another external service, not RFC (such as business object), there is no error.
    My system is NWCE 7.11
    Thanks in advance,
    Sinh.

  • WebServices-SOAP interoperability

    Hello All,
    I need to develop a Java-system (client-side) that communicates over WebServices/SOAP with SAP (server-side).
Therefore, I am looking for using either Apache-Axis of Metro-WebServices to access the SAP system.
Therefore, I would like to know if there is somewhere an interoperability matrix identifying the frameworks that could function as WebServices clients or with which frameworks others have been successful?
    regards, Harrie

    Hi,
    Thanks for the answer.
While using Axis1 I had problems with the namespace that SAP generates for its generated WSDL.
Axis 2 I tried, but failed on the client interface somewhere (not a SAP interoperability issue).
In the end I took Apache CXF and that works for me now.

  • "Deployments- Webservice- Configuration- WSDL" displays NPE in WLS 9.0

    hello,
please, does anybody know a solution to the NullPointerException in WebServiceConfigurationWsdlAction.execute()? the exception is displayed when i click on the "WSDL" link found on a webservice's "Configuration" tab in the admin console.
i'm running WLS 9.0 on Solaris 9 SPARC. i successfully built and ran the "[url http://127.0.0.1:7001/examplesWebApp/examples/src/examples/webservices/jws_basic/simple/instructions.html]Creating a Web Service Using JWS Metadata Annotations" example. i used all of the example's source + build.xml file unchanged from when they were originally installed.
with the wl_server admin server up and running, i successfully built and ran the example with the following steps:
      prompt# cd $WL_HOME/samples/server/examples/src/examples/webservices/jws_basic/simple
      prompt# ant
      all:
      BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 1 minute 19 seconds

however, the problem is: when i attempt to view the webservice's wsdl by following the instructions listed in the "[url http://localhost:7001/console-help/help/doc/en-us/com/bea/wlserver/taskhelp/webservices/ViewWsdl.html]View the WSDL of a Web Service" docs, i get a NullPointerException in WebServiceConfigurationWsdlAction.execute() (see below for full stacktrace). the exception stacktrace is displayed in the admin console when i click on the "WSDL" link found on the webservice's "Configuration" tab.

  • R3 (rfc-sender) - XI - Webservice ( soap-receiver)

    Hi,
I am getting below error whenever webservice(target system) is unavailable.
    HTTP 404 Not Found
Then RFC got failed in R3, due to this error in XI
    R3 (rfc-sender) <-> XI <-> Webservice ( soap-receiver) Synch
User will enter the request data in R3 and waiting for the response, but webservice is down(i.e not available)
Request is reached to XI box and XI is trying to send data when webservice is down( i,e not available), RFC is waiting for the response from XI box.
how we will handle this kind of situation, how should i give response back to RFC( because RFC sent the request and waiting for the response, XI could not send any response back as Webservce is down, Please advice me how should XI inform to the end user r R3 abt webservice.
I am getting this error to my mail box as i have configured ALERTS. i do not want to change existing RFC.
is there any chance to send response to R3 even webservice is down, please can any one suggest.
    Thanks,
    SIva

    Hi siva,
check this blog on HTTP errors.
    /people/krishna.moorthyp/blog/2006/07/23/http-errors-in-xi
May be the URL you have given in SOAP at receiver adapter is wrong.Check that once.
    Error: 404 Not Found
Description: The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address. This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
    Possible Tips:- for HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK 404
u2022 404 is an HTTP response code that indicates that the resource in question couldn't be found. Usually this is due to an incorrect URL, so it is better to cross check all URLs. Check pipeline URL in the SLD in the business system of the Integration Server For this go to SLD->Business System-><yourIntegrtaion Server>->Pipeline URL: It should be like this http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry Where host is the host name of the Integration Server and port is the HTTP(8xxx) port. To verify this in Integration Server you can do like this. Go to SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Choose Edit from Menu -> Change Global Configuration Data to switch to change mode. Then select System Landscape - Load Configuration. (This is not required always)
u2022 Check that the port really is the ICM HTTP Port and not the J2EE port i.e SMICM then menu GOTO --> SERVICES and check the port number for HTTP. It should be HTTP port
u2022 If the error is Page cannot be displayed, cannot find server in https configurations Check and correct the SSL configuration for the ABAP and the J2EE side of the system
u2022 If the error is because of integration server when using Proxy communications then check these. i.e SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Corresponding Integration Server enrty should be dest://<Http Integration server-Destination> Where < Http Integration server -Destination > is the RFC destination (SM59) of type HTTP connection (type H) to the Integration Server. In this case, host name, port, and path prefix are saved in the RFC destination.
    Thanks,
    Vijaya.

Pleae help me out on this.
    Thanks,
    Dhanush.

    Hi,
Normally, the Web service should provide a fault message back to XI and the RFC should also have an exception defined that will trigger a fault message mapping and that way the application error is sent back to R3.
But if the web service does not provide u with a fault message then XI will trigger the System Error back to R3.
The functionality of checking the DB status and propagating meaningful errors to XI as fault messages should lie with the web service.
    Thanks

  • Export SOAP WSDL's in UCM

    Hello All,
I have created WSDL for 'AddCollection' in development env. I can able to create collection (folders) & check-in docs to this collections through a java program using this wsdl. Now i want to export this AddCollection.wsdl file to testing env. I couldn't find any option for exporting & importing soap wsdl's in UCM. (or) I have to generate/create the same structure of collection wsdl in testing env manually, is this right way?
Could anyone can provide some idea to overcome this tasks.
    My UCM configuration is
    Product Version 10.1.3.3.2 (071031)
    Product Build 7.2.2.184
    Native Version 7.1.0.1
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Gowri.

    You have several options:
First, check out the <install>/data/soap/custom directory and you might find the definition of your custom wsdl. You could move that over to the new server, wire it in and see if it shows up?
Second, there used to be a class called WsdlMerger.java that would allow you to create a component that would install/update custom wsdl's on target machines. This is of limited use for one or two moves, but if you're creating a component with a lot of reuse it works slick. It does take some work to build out and does require some Java skills. If interested, kick me a note and I'll try to get you the Java class for you to toy around with. jason at corecontentonly dot com.

  • Webservice from WSDL - Endpoint URL unchanged

    Hi all,
I'm following the JDeveloper tutorial here....
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/11/cuecards111/j2ee_set_17/ccset17_ALL.html
...in this the endpoint URL is left as http://www.example.com - this gets transformed into....
    http://localhost:7101/ServiceFromWsdl-Project1-context-root/RatingServicePort
...I believe at the point the webservice is generated from the WSDL.
I have a couple of questions....
    1. Where does it get the localhost & 7101 from - at the point of generating the webservice how does it know where I want to deploy it ?
    2. When I generate my webservice from WSDL my URL is left unchanged - it deploys ok to my SOAServer (not the JDeveloper integrated one) but not with the endpoint I used in the WSDL - how do I find this endpoint ?
    Thanks
    MarkF

OK, I managed to find the endpoint by hacking a few bits of information together....I assumed the port number because I knew the HTTP port number for my SOAServer, the context root is displayed in the deployment log, I then tagged on the Port Name from my WSDL .... et voila !
    Still begs the questions....
    1. Is it supposed to overwrite the URL in my original WSDL ?
    2. Is there no easier way of finding out the endpoint for a deployed WS ?
    Thanks

  • WebService SOAP vs J2EE

    Hi,
late but hopefully not to late i do my first steps into the world of webservices.
Since we use JDEV 9.0.4 in prodution i started with this version of JDEV.
There it is possible to generate two kind of Webservices, soap and j2ee.
In version 10.1.3 there is only one left.
May someone could explain the reason to me please (and perhaps the differences)?
    Thanks and regards,
    Chris

In 10.1.3 we use the standard J2EE way of working with Web Services (JAX-RPC) in older versions of JDeveloper we also supported an Oracle specific way - which was there before the industry standard appeared.

  • SOAP/WSDL builder for C programming

    Dear guru,
is any possibility or can you give any hint if exist some SOAP/WSDL builder for creating C libraries from SOAP/WSDL and vice versa?
    Thanks a lot for help.
    Regards,
    Roman

Rfcsdk, there is a genh.exe in bin folder, which can be used to generate c headers according to ddic table/struct def (se11).
and, you may use Nco to generate wsdl / c#  class desc.
all these two method may use se37 function
RFC_GET_FUNCTION_INTERFACE(RFC_GET_FUNCTION_INTERFACE_US) to get function parameter info(I,E,T...) and for a struct/table use  RFC_GET_UNICODE_STRUCTURE to get detailed struct info, you may then generate your sql/c#/c typedef/...
Hope these info can be help, you may reach me at <b><REMOVED BY MODERATOR></b>, good luck.

  • Weblogic.soap.wsdl.Remote2WSDL

weblogic.soap.wsdl.Remote2WSDL doesn't create the first line in the JSP:
    <% response.setHeader( "Content-Type", "text/xml; charset=utf-8" ); %>
that the wsgen Ant task seems to.
    Any clues?

This is not a supported Tool. Anyway, the following seems
    to work:

Hi, I'm trying to generate the WSDL JSP using the
    weblogic.soap.wsdl.Remote2WSDL
    utility of Weblogic 6.1.
However I can't seem the jsp file generated contains nothing.
Do I need to run the utility in a directory containing the ejb jar file? How
is the EJB_interface path specified? (what is
meant specifically by fully qualified class name)?
