Webservice Test Problem

Hi friends,
i created the webservice using BAPI (acctglposting).
when i tried to test this service i got the error
Object content does not correspond to Schema restrictions of type [urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions][char10].

Looks like there is a type mismatch on the data element you are passing. Please check if the data type for the passing parameter is CHAR10.

I am not able to test my webservice using webservice tester. I have created a simple webservice which takes a string as a parameter and return it as response.
When i am using webservice tester the url field is coming blank an it request side too i am not getting any option of putting my input. Also the send request button is coming disable.
I am using jdev 11g drop 306. and for creating webservice i am using annoted methods like @webservice and @webmethod

If your requirement is to bind two nodes to the same table, than it is not possible. You can bind the nodes to two different tables and change the visiblity of the tables whenever required.

WebService Test page generation

Hello,
I have a question regarding WebService test page generator. I have OC4J standalone (10.1.3.3.0) configured on internal IP address like 10.x.x.x and for test reasons this server is accessible via internet.
Test page for WebService generated by application server is always generated using this internal address as host (see page source fragment below):

The test page does the best it can to reflect and provide test values,
however there are limitations. Note, this does not mean there is a
problem with your service, it is simply a limitation of the dynamically
generated test page.
You might consider your own custom home page [1]

Generally your GUI code might be in a class extending JFrame, for example. It is good practice to try to keep your GUI separate from the rest of your application. So you can control your application from the GUI by public methods in the main part of the code, calling them from the GUI.
This is best done by passing an instance of the main application to the GUI when it is constructed. For example:

Testing problem in webservices

hi experts , i creating my first webservice for the function module . i created the WebServices using Tcode SOAMANAGER , i had created the
Service definition .
confgured the web services .

i had tested my webservice .but when i click the Open WSDL document for selected binding i am just getting the webpage with the XML coding . my problem is where can i give my input parameters and test my web services .

In Overview of service in SOAMANAGER you have
Open porttype WSDL document
Open WSDL document for selected binding
Open Web Service navigator for selected binding
The WSDL is a xml file so if you click second link is correct you get xml page. If you want to test the service giving it an input you have to click on third link.
For what about no entry in WSADMIN, I am facing this issue too, but I think it's normal because the complete management of the web service should migrate to SOAMANAGER, being obsolete WSADMIN.

XI SOAP adapter vs webservice testing tools

Actually I have creted simple xslt mapping and managed to come up with exactly in the format of endpoint request format of the webservice.

I want XI to post just the payload and nothing else so....
I selected Do not use envelope in the adapter configuration because we have every thing( SOAP envelop, header and body in the payload) but it is not working as i am still getting the same error message before implementing this xslt.

Do you have any idea like XI will add anything to this pay load when it sends out to the webservice?
If i take the payload from the XI and try it in SOAPUI(tool to test webservice, you would know it already ) it works fine, I mean I was able to get the proper response but in XI it does not work.
Any help in this regards is highly appreciated.

Hi,
Finally I could solve the problem.
I was actually trying to post the information from the http client at the sender and receiver side I am getting the error.
Later i have actually created the webservice for my sender interface in XI then post the info using the SOAPUI(3rd party tool) to post the info to XI and then Xi will communicate the webservice using SOAP adapter then I got the proper response from the webservice.
In this whole episode I guess there is some thing wrong in using a htp client but technically we should be able to use http client as XI will take the payload and use xslt mapping to come up with target interface soap message( but i do not know why XI failed in that).

Now i am trying to test the webservice from WSADMIN...
The webservice navigator is not displaying the page in the internet explorer..

Webservice Migration Problems (WLS 9.2 - WLS 10.3.2)

we're upgrading our weblogic server from version 9.2 to 10.3.2. Everything runs just fine in my testing environment except for the webservices we have.
We have 6 webservices (JAX-RPC) which use a generic set of xml schema types to which each webservice offers specialized types that extend the supertype. Here comes the problem: The ant tasks wsdlc and clientgen from wls 9.2 generates java classes that do extend from the superclass. Unfortunatley the same call from the wls 10.3.2 results in a loss of class hierarchy.

thanks for the reply. Unfortunately using the other ant task doesn't seem to help. This is a WLS8.2 Version of Clientgen (which used the attribute "clientjar" rather than "destDir"/"destFile" and expected "packagename" as a required parameter). I tried id and it seems to have a couple of problems with schema files imported in included schema files. I worked around this by importing in the schema files from the wsdl itself, but now I get a "weblogic.xml.schema.binding.BindingException: ERROR: during code compilation".

Webservice path problem

HI,
When I access data from server using webservice I have to
specify the path of wsdl. There is a problem with that
For example If I give the path as
http://www.abc.com/service.asmx?WSDL,
I cant access the html page containing that swf movie with out
using "www" infront of the url. If I access the html page just like
http://abc.com/test.html its
throwing an error.
The vice versa is also making problem..
If the service is in the same domain I can give relative path
to avoid this problem, but how can we solve this problem if the
service is in a different domain?

Webservice binding problem

Hi,
I created a webservice. In SOAMANAGER configured service. In overview tab, I selected my configured service and clicked on "Opnn WSDL document for selected binding". But its not calling any other screen. And I tried to test the webservice by clicking on "Open Web Service navigator for selected binding". Its not connecting WSNavigator. What is the problem here? Suggest me how to solve it.

VC call webservice Authentication Problem

I am trying to follow the tutotia l(Tutorial 1: Modeling a Simple Application ) of VC in CE72 at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce72/helpdata/en/44/d958673ef05f4de10000000a11466f/frameset.htm. When run the model, error 401 occurs when call the webservice. I tested webservice successfully by right click the data service. however, it need enter UID/Pwd(In NWA-> SOA Manager, Single service admin, it doesn't allow no authention). I think the problem is bwteen user mapping beween VC(EP) and webservice. Any one know how to define such a user mapping in EP?
I created a system object in EP, but cannot find it in user management. Thanks!

Can you reproduce the issue if you create 2 applications. One that exposes a secured web service and the other one the one, consumes the web service? This would help to isolate the issue and move forward in case is a bug.

It would be great if anyone could point me to a step-by-step guide for ABAP web service testing in SAP version 7.0.

But in My ECC 6.0 SP18.WSConfig and WSADMIN Transaction codes are Absolete.
New Transaction code SOAMANAGER We get the exposed Webservice.
But What the Problem is We forget some things while creating Webservices.

SOAPDecoder WebService parsing problem

This is really urgent for me!
I encountered the following:
It seems JavaME WebService API is not able to handle the following
XML part:

Is this correct? What can I do to make this work? The next step would be
to parse myself.
The Server uses org.apache.axis.encoding.ser.BeanSerializerFactory
to write the Bean ResultList that only contains a String[] with the name
strList. However the serializer makes a double strList of it. I generated
a stub with WTK 2.5 and 2.3.
This is the server returned XML that is not parsed correct. However
a PocketPC client handles it correct. Why?

Hi Experts,
I have used the below url to create the webservice. When I tried to test the webservice ( just tried to open the webserivce as per 8th page from the below doc), I am getting only "Please wait while loading page" message..for more than half an hour time..and still I couldn't see the page..
