Webservices using xmlrpc which uses javax.xml package

Hi
Can any one Tell me how to write a Webservice using xmlrpc
but which doesnt have org.apache or either helma package or jars
I need to achieve it using j2ee jars
eg: javax.xml.rpc
I dont want SOAP to be involved in it.....
Can any one tell me the useful links or sample code related to this topic
Thank you
Geetanjalee

HI Geetanjale,
If you aren't going to use SOAP as your message exchange protocol, then you can't do it with WS.
Cheers

  • Writing XML file using javax.xml package

    I want the Nodes to be written one by one as writing the whole document is giving me a OutOfMemoryError (I have about a million records to be written in the XML file).

  • Javax.xml.rpc included in orabpel.jar does not have "loadService"

    I have a class that uses orabpel.jar for Task service and invocation of BPEL.
    Now I made an web service proxy to call an ESB in the same project.
    The web service proxy uses javax.xml.rpc from the orabpel.jar which do not have the loadService method but the file:
    JDeveloper101310_HOME\webservices\lib\jaxrpc-api.jar\javax\xml\rpc
    have the loadService method.
    JDeveloper uses the orabpel.jar although above file is in the library and gives a compile time error of not finding the method "loadService".
    Any ideas ?

    When a web service proxy is created it automatically adds the library file..this is the problem: The project has two same libraries(one from orabpel.jar and other javax.xml,.rpc) and it chooses the one which does not have the loasdServices function i.e orapel.jar...
    is there a way that I can tell the project not to use that library but other one ?

  • Using Axis2 webservices in WebLogic 10.3 - weblogic.xml

    Hi,
    I am facing an issue while trying the following:
    I am using a webservices webapp in WebLogic 10.3. The web-app uses Axis2 for the webservices. To fix a logging issue, I had to add the following to my weblogic.xml:
    <weblogic-web-app>
    <container-descriptor>
    <prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
    </container-descriptor>
    </weblogic-web-app>
    After adding this change to the weblogic.xml- I am now getting an error in weblogic server log files, which is as follows -
    ]] Root cause of ServletException.
    java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraint violation: when resolving interface method "org.apache.xmlbeans.SchemaTypeLoader.parse(Ljavax/xml/stream/XMLStreamReader;Lorg/apache/xmlbeans/SchemaType;Lorg/apache/xmlbeans/XmlOptions;)Lorg/apache/xmlbeans/XmlObject;"
    the class loader (instance of org/apache/axis2/deployment/DeploymentClassLoader) of the current class, com/arcot/schemas/regfort/v2/types/GetArcotIdDocument$Factory, and the class loader (instance of sun/misc/Launcher$AppClassLoader) for resolved class, org/apache/xmlbeans/SchemaTypeLoader, have different Class objects for the type javax/xml/stream/XMLStreamReader used in the signature
    I have tried over 6 hours of debugging but to no avail. If there are any suggestions anyone came make- as to the possible cause of this problem, it would be much appreciated!
    thank you,
    ronak

    hi david,
    thank you for the suggestion. The interesting thing is the error goes away as soon as I remove the weblogic.xml entry- and everything works fine. Except, when I dont have the prefer-web-inf-classes I get a log4j issue where my logs from different apps merge into a single file. That problem got resolved by adding the weblogic.xml change, but now it is this error.
    Do you think there is anything that can be done in the weblogic-application.xml <prefer-application-packages> that might help in solving this problem?
    thank you

  • How do I marshall a list using javax.xml.bind.annotation?

    Hopefully this is so simple a cave man could do it.
    I had to remove the Duke Stars for the time being. I found another bug in the program that may have resulted in my array being empty.
    I'm trying to marshall a standalone document of my DeckImpl class. It is a deck of cards of course. It contains an array of CardImpl objects that need to be marshalled too. I could not figure out how to marhall the array so I have a marshall(Marshaller m) method that will
    initialize the List (see below) with an ArrayList. I figured the marshaller would do the rest but I just get the declaration and a closed <DECK />tag with the correct attributes (see way below) when I comment out the @XmlElementWrapper, or a DECK root node that simply contains a closed <CARDS /> tag with the line enabled. You can see tha CardImpl class is annotated too.
    I must be missing something obvious. Please help.
    @XmlRootElement(name = "DECK")
    @XmlType(name = "DECK")

    There's a bit in here on marshalling.
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.4/tutorial/doc/index.html
    Problem with JAXB (and I could be wrong - try posting on the Web Services / XML forum) is that you can only marshal the generated classes. This may mean that you need to create the object, and populate it using the setter / getter methods.
    Castor is much more friendly for this as it can marshall objects using reflections. You may also want to look into XMLBeans (which I have no exp of)

    Hi Jani,
    Thanks for your reply.
    I am new to webservices and we are trying to do a POC on invoking FinancialUtilService using HTTP proxy client. I am following steps mentioned in attached pdf section "Invoking FinancialUtil Service using Web Service Proxy Client". I have imported certificate using below command.

        wsbp.setOutboundHeaders( new StringHeader(WS_ADDR_VER.messageIDTag, uuid), replyTo.createHeader(WS_ADDR_VER.replyToTag));

  • "dtutil", how to tell which configuration file for packages using after deployment?

    Hello All,
    Trying to achieve this feature,
    Using DOS command to automatic my deployment process--glad I found dtutil. However, it doesnt give you any chance to identify which configuration file to be used by SSIS packages after deployment.
    Deployment Method: file deployment
    Configuration sued: XML file and SQL Table. IN XML file, it tells which DB connection for packages to look up the configuration table.
    Who can share some thoughts on this?
    Derek

    It is NOT about sequence.
    It is about how to point which configuration file to be used by deployed packages as during the "dtutil.exe"
    deployment, you dont have chance to identify which physical location confg files to be used.
    Derek
    That you do only at the time of execution of packages. By default it uses configuration settings created at design time within the package. If you want to override it, you can use \Configfile switch of dtexec for that. You can also set explicit values for
    properties using /SET switch

  • Can we use javax.xml.parser API's from j2sdk kit?

    Hi All,
    I am new to this jaxp API's and my first doubt is Can I use the javax.xml.parser API which come bundled with j2sdk-1.4.1 or Should I install JWSDP-1.3 to get to javax.xml.parsers API?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I am trying to read an xml file on Solaris.
    Can we not use doc.getElementById(String elementID) after deriving doc obejct ?
    Here is the code I am trying to use:
    try
    factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    factory.setValidating(false);
    File file = new File("/command/parse_doc.xml");
    doc = factory.newDocumentBuilder().parse(file); //upto here it works
    Element element = doc.getElementById("Topics");
    String name = element.getTagName(); //returns nothing but throws exception "null"
    }catch(Exception exe){
    out.println("Exception:" + exe.getMessage());}
    here I get no such element, and the try catch block exception also null.
    Is there something I am missing?
    DO I have to call doc.getDocumentElement() before I call get ElementBy ID() and if so why?
    Thanks.

  • How different Web Services can use a class which parses an XML file

    I am using RAD6.1 for developing and deploying web services.As I am using 15 web Services which uses a common class which is used to parse an XML file.As this XML file should be parsed only once and should be used by all the web services.I have made this common class as Singleton but it works as singleton for only one webservice and for other web service again it is parsing the xml file.I want to parse this xml file only once and used by all the web services.In my case tis file is parsed 15 times for 15 web services, but it should be parse donly once and used by all 15 services.Please give me the solution.
    Thanks and Regards
    Sayeeduzzaman

    Hello,
    the 15 Webservices should have a static attribute which contains the xml:
    private static String xml;
    then initialise the xml like this:
    if (xml == null)
    xml = parseIt();
    else
    //do nothing, XML already initialised!
    }

  • Guide Lines to Use SAX,DOM using javax.xml. * files only, I

    Hi Respected Recievers,
    My Name is Surya, i am working as a Java
    Programmer.
    I need JAR files to run SAX and DOM properly.
    I don't want to Use xerces.jar or jaxp.jar files, i will use only javax.xml.* files only.

  • Error when using javax.script package

    Hi
    I want to call a javascript method from a .js file from .java class.
    when i searched, i came to understand that using jdk1.6 i can use javax.script package tht provide me what i needed.
    using the reply i got from i earlier post, i tried one example.
    public void show() {
    ScriptEngineManager engineMgr = new ScriptEngineManager();
    ScriptEngine engine= engineMgr.getEngineByName("JavaScript");
    try {
    engine.eval(new FileReader("D:/ShowScript.js"));
    Invocable invocableEngine = (Invocable) engine;
    //show_message is my function in ShowScript.js file
    invocableEngine.invokeFunction("show_message",null);
    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    ShowScript.js
    function show_message()
    println("===> hi");
    alert("hi");
    When i execute my program, im getting the following error
    javax.script.ScriptException: sun.org.mozilla.javascript.internal.EcmaError: ReferenceError: "alert" is not defined. ( #8) in at line number 8

    When i remove the alert() from the js file, the println is working. But what i neede is the alert.
    Can anyone plz help me to solve this problem.

    As you're talking about "backing beans", are you using JSF?
    After all, this is definitely not the way to let Java and JS interact with each other. Java runs at the server side. JS runs at the client side. Java can write JS code to the response, but definitely cannot call it. JS can access the HTML DOM and invoke requests to the server (form.submit() and AJAX and so on) and send parameters along the request, but definitely cannot call Java classes and methods independently. Nothing more and nothing less than that.

  • Error using javax.mail package

    Hi,
    I have included the package javax.mail.* in my code.I have downloaded
    jaf 1.0.2 and javamail 1.1.3 from the Sun Microsystems website.
    When i try to compile my code i get the error message:
    com/voxspectrum/ccvox/EmailServer.java:55: cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : class MimeMessage
    location: class com.voxspectrum.ccvox.EmailServer
    javax.mail.Message msg = new MimeMessage(session);
    I am using JDK ver 1.3.1_02. What should i set my path and classpath as, if i am using javax.mail package?
    Please could you help me out with this problem!

    Hi Nisha
    You need to include the path to the mail.jar and activation.jar files in your classpath.
    How you do it depends on the OS you are running on
    in Windows 95 /98 the easiest way is to edit the autoexec.bat file and add the settings to your already existing classpath statement i.e.
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;C:\richard\javamail-1.3\mail.jar C:\richard\jaf-1.0.2\activation.jar
    (excuse the word wrapping) then reboot
    on Linux / Solaris edit the .profile file for your user and set the CLASSPATH variable to
    CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:<pathtofile>/mail.jar:<pathtofile>/activation.jar
    export CLASSPATH
    and that should do it
    Hope this helps

    You're welcome. Again, as mentioned in that discussion, you can use Font Book to check if the foundry has entered any license limitation notices in the font info (Preview > Show Font Info).
    Basically, fonts are code. The copyright applies to the code. If the product you distribute doesn't include the code, then the copyright does not apply to it. That's why embedding has to be dealt with specifically, because embedding fonts in a document means including the code or parts of it in the document.
