Webshop B2C Session Trace

Hi All,
I am using CRM 2007 B2C Webshop, getting a product catalog not displayed error. And was wondering how to enable the session trace. And Where to view the contents of the session trace. ?
Any pointers will be much appreciated.

Please review the following notes relevant to your release for creating a session trace.
1090753 Creation of logs for B2B and B2C Release
569976 SAP Internet Sales: Creation of session logs
You can create a session trace in the b2b or b2c admin.
You have to option to review the log after you have created it and to download it.
This will be located in the following directory.
The logfiles you find here: /usr/sap/System/Instance/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/sap.com/yourapp/servlet_jsp/yourapp/root/WEB-INF/logs/

hi,
when i click on 'single session trace' in b2c/start.jsp page,
it ended with error http code 400.
but when i clock on the webshop ID, it is accessible.
however, when i decided to register a user, it ended up server not found error.
May i know is there any solution or section where shall i look for?

RTMT error: not collecting session traces

Hi, I have a problem with RTMT that complicate my troubleshooting of calls since some weeks. When I open or try to generate a session trace of calls, the RTMT dont show any call output, only the following messages:
Before this happen the session trace show me at least the first output in one profile of RTMT, but now it don show me any calls, neither in the 2 RTMT profiles that I have.

If RTMT client is installed on Windows 7 machine then check this bug

Get the session trace files and also the TKPROF reports for storedprocedure

Hi ,
I am trying to find out the bottlenecks on a storedprocedure, which does a insert into a table, where the target table has lot of indexes/constraints, so i want to see, which indexes/constraints is causing the problem. so in order to do I want to get the session trace files and also the TKPROF reports to see the bottlenecks for a oracle stored procedure,
Could you please give us the list of steps to get the tracefiles and tkprof reports.

I am using bulk collect for all in my storedprocedure to insert the rows into a big table. In order to perform analysis on this bulk collect which tool will help me to identify the bottlenecks .
I want to compare background session properties for both runs (like inserting the data with indexes/constraints vs without indexes/constraints). please let me know..I am willing to bet you the problem/slowness is on the SELECT side & not the INSERT!

How to trun of session trace ?

i have problem .. can not dissable session trace
tried
alter system set .... .= false
did not work
exec dbms_monitor.session_trace_distable
did not work either

You can exit the session, always works ;)
or you can try
alter session set events '10046 trace name context off';
it would be easier if you would post how you enable session tracing

Session trace files not generated

Hai all,
Am tracing a session as follows :
EXEC DBMS_SUPPORT.start_trace_in_session(sid=>2166, serial=>30629, waits=>TRUE, binds=>FALSE);
EXEC DBMS_SUPPORT.stop_trace_in_session(sid=>2166, serial=>30629);
but,no trace files are getting generated ?.. in udump dir..
Any idea ?

Likely a version and/or platform specific bug.
However, according to you this information is not important, or too much cumbersome to type, so no one can help you, even if you were told to include this several time.
If you want free support from volunteers, at least provide information to work in.
Or consider not posting at all.

Signon tracing enable multi-session trace file?

Hi Guys,
When I enable PeopleCode tracing in signon tracing link, I found trace file was generated with somebody else name. I was thinking it should generate my trace file only. Does anyone know if it is correct or these is any configuration about this?

Your 2 node RAC has two instances (e.g. INST1 and INST2). My understanding of that is that with the above command, to be able to trace session 123 connected to INST1, your SYS need to be connected to INST1. To be able to trace session 456 connected to INST2, your SYS need to be connected to INST2.

Cisco CUCM session trace log viewer (in real-time monitor) doesn't show all calls

could you please help with one trouble on CUCM 9.1: I activated CDR and set debug trace level as detailed and want to find history of my calls. I'm going to Tools -> CDR Analisys and Reporting and on the new appeared page i choose CDR -> Search by Phone Number. I make test call to my phone, try to search by my number phone but i doesn's see any incoming calls. It's worth noting that some outgoing calls i see. Could you explain why it is?

Did you set the service parameter to log calls into CDR?

No Accessories on the webshop - B2C

Hi,
Using CRM 5
I am having a problem displaying the accessories on my webshop. I have linked the products through the CRM product manager and then added them in the catalog. Everything looks fine when I replicate but on the web no accessories are displayed.
I have also amended the details in the shopadmin area to allow accessories and used the standard 000004 Accesories Schema (I even tried 000006). I have a target group aclled Best Seller01 - but I think this might be from a legacy version of SAP CRM.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or suggest a how to guide?
Anyone with a checklist that I can complete to see that I have completed anything.

Here is the check list of things when No CUDA products are displayed initially.
No association rules have been maintained for the products in the shopping basket
No association rules have been maintained for the chosen target groups
Rule is not activated
Cross-selling rules have been maintained with more than one leading product - *
Incorrect method schema is assigned to the web shop
The CUDA product is not contained in the product catalog - *
Please see * items for trouble.
It is also worthwhile to clear the catalog cache in the application XCM or restart the application after catalog republish sometimes.

did you intend to do a session trace (e.g. "sql_trace=true") or the autotrace ("set autotrace ...")? The autotrace button does NOT trace your whole session but only the sql in your window, one at a time.
This works for me in v1.1.25.14, yet there seems to be an issue with the explain plan.

Trace Apex session from sqlplus

Apex 4.2.4, Oracle 11.2.0.3, Apex Listener 2.0.5
How to start Apex session trace from sqlplus command line? I know thread Trace with &p_trace=YES but this is not a solution because I want to start from sqlplus (PL/SQL code).

Use the session tables to match your APEX connection to the information in the gv$session table.
Yes - this is a "free" information in the database, but it is also secure. You will need elevated privileges to do this. Use with caution.
You will not find a PLUG-IN that can do tracing if the base user can not do tracing. The reason the URL feature is there from APEX is because APEX (the framework) has the access and ability - but that is not passed down to each workspace / schema without using the framework.
I have no details of your installation or your application, so you will need to determine what types of calls are being made to the database and with what method (EPG, OHS, ORDS, etc..)
select SID, SERIAL#,inst_id,program,module,event,Action,machine, client_info, CLIENT_IDENTIFIER
from gv$session s where type!='BACKGROUND'
and status='ACTIVE' and sql_id is not null;
The CLIENT_IDENTIFIER will show you SESSION and USER
The MODULE will show you APP and PAGE
From there, you can do all your SID related tracing you need.

DBA user등에서 일반 user가 실행하는 sql의 trace를 떠 보고 싶은
경우가 있다. 이렇게 다른 user session에 sql trace를 받을 수 있는
방법에 대해 알아보자.
Explanation
SQL*Plus에 접속하여 SQL trace를 거는 것이 아니라 DBMS_SYSTEM package를
이용하여 다른 유저나 다른 세션에서 특정 세션을 지정하여 SQL trace를 걸
수 있다.
( DBMS_SYSTEM package는 Oracle 7.3부터 사용할 수 있다. )
DBMS_SYSTEM package를 사용하기 위해서는 먼저 다음의 script를 실행한다.
$ cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin
$ sqlplus sys/manager
SQL> @dbmsutil
SQL> @prvtutil.plb
dbmsutil.sql file은 sys user나 svrmgrl 에서 실행시킨다.
이 package를 다른 유저에서 실행하려면 미리 grant를 주어야 한다.
$ sqlplus sys/manager
SQL> grant execute on dbms_system to system;
[ DBMS_SYSTEM package ]
- DBMS_SYSTEM.set_sql_trace_in_session(sid, serial#, TRUE)
지정된 session에 대해 SQL trace를 실행하여 user_dump_dest parameter에
지정된 위치에 trace file이 생성된다.

SQL> exec sys.dbms_system.set_sql_trace_in_session(8, 12, TRUE);
-> scott user에 대한 SQL trace가 실행된다.
SQL> exec sys.dbms_system.set_sql_trace_in_session(8, 12, FALSE);
-> scott user에 걸린 SQL trace가 해제된다.
참고 :
Dedicate 방식으로 접속한 user는 user_dump_dest/ora_processid.trc로
생기며, MTS 방식으로 접속한 user에 대해서는
background_dump_dest/s000_22509.trc 와 같이 MTS server name으로
생성된다.
또한, 위 경우 모두 trace file을 한번 삭제한 후에 다시 그 process를
사용하는 session에 대해 trace를 걸면 trace file은 생기지 않는다.

BADI trigered in CRM while creating a order from B2B webshop

Hellow Gurus,
Could you please tell the BADIs triggered in CRM when we create an order from B2B webshop. I have to keep a validation to ensure the delivery type 'Standard' should be applicables orders having gross weight less thatn 4 kg only.
I should also throw an alert in B2B webshop saying ' Please choose other type' as well. I dont know how to proceed for this.

The best way to determine the BADI's called is to look at the Log files. The following OSS Notes (based on your release) will instruct you how to create a session trace.
Note 569976 (Release 4.0) - creation fo session logs
Note 1090753 (Release 5.0) - Creation of logs for B2B and B2C
Note 1156730 - Creation of logs for ISAUserAdm and ShopAdmin

No Reproduction of a problem in a Web Session (ECO 5.0)

We use the new E-Commerce 5.0 version on a NetWeaver 2004s (Java/ABAP).
We have deployed the Java Component B2B and use the XCM based Internet
Sales webshop from the mySAP Business Suite 2005 SR1 Java CD
(51031807).
The ISA session logs works correctly. But the customer need additional
information about the webshop activities.
I have implemented Note "921409 - Enable session tracing in mySAP CRM
5.0 java components" and all related notes. I use the "Single Session
Trace" Link to start the web session based on my XCM application
configuration.
The problem:
I cannot download the CSV- File in the NWA because we cannot find any
entries with the Session ID from the "Single Session Trace" Link.
The connection is opened via WTS. The requested usernames and password
are maintained in the SAP Marketplace.
Detailed Information about our System Landscape:
SAP Netweaver 7.00 SP12 (1000.7.00.12.0.20070507080200)
JCO: 7.0012.20070328121651.0000
Java Development Kit: Java 2 SDK, SE v1.4.2_15
SAP-SHRAPP Version: 5.0 SP9 (1000.5.0.9.3.20070713081523).

In the environment definition,
-> External Application JDBC
-> Properties
-> Outbound JDBC Connection
You have the database URL in the "DriverProperties" field
Valid URL would be : jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/caps

What is needed to do a remote trace?

I am interested in logging events from Microsoft-Windows-HttpService on a remote machine. I'm in a corporate environment and all the computers use Windows Auth. I have access to the remote machine. Are there certain permissions that I need in order
to remotely trace? Is it even possible? I'm not sure how to troubleshoot. Right now, I just get this error when I try to start tracing:

Run it remotely via:
wmic /node:<hostname> process call create "netsh trace start persistent=yes capture=yes tracefile=c:\temp\nettrace-boot.etl"
When you're finished testing, run:
wmic /node:<hostname> process call create "netsh trace stop"
Then copy over the trace files and view it locally in Network Monitor or Message Analyzer.
