Webshop users in ECC

Hi
We want to have the users (end users) to be maintained in ECC instead of having them in CRM.
We configured the backend and we could create the users also in ECC.
But when we try logging in with the users with ECC backend, we get the following error:
"ISA Framework: com.sap.isa.core.PanicException: R3 Lean Order Interface is not active"
Any help?

Open the door and let them in. *grin*
Not sure what you are really trying to ask. ESS and MSS are just grouped content in the portal itself. Your portal users will have portal ROLES assigned to them for ESS and/or MSS. These in turn will tie to backend security roles in ECC.
Now, "where" your users come from will depend on your portal configuration...like setting them to be authorized via Active Directory, an SAP system, etc.
Kinda like this....
user->UME source->portal role(s)--->backend security role(s)

what is the best way to create 10,000 users in ECC 6 system.
As of my knowledge we can create with SECATT, but I don't know the procedure to use this.
please guide me...

Hi Raaja,
If you search in SDN or on google for eCATT tutorial, you will get all the info you need to learn to create them.
For 10000 users I would suggest the following
1. eCATT to create user ID's (include all the info like passwords, user groups in here).
2. eCATT to make the role assignment. Use SU10 to record the assignment to the users you created with the first script as it gives you more flexibility
If you have the data you need then you should be able to run both steps in 1 work day (dependent on system performance).

Hi,
You need to have SSO in between ECC and portal and use ABAP engine as your UME.
then ECC users can directly login to portal using the same user id and password.
Or you can create the ECC system in portal and user mapping should be done for every user to the ECC system.

Migrating users from ECC 5

Can I migrate my users in ECC5.0 to EP 6.0 (14)? Is there a document around, if so can I have it please? I know we can point UME to use ECC5.0 as a source, but I want to know is there a way to export users from ECC and import them on to EP.

Password inconsistancy issue with RFC users in ECC 6.0 System after upgrade

We have upgraded the system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0, but facing the password inconsistancy problem for RFC users. We have set the parameters like "login/min_password_lng" as "8" and "login/password_downwards_compatibility" as "3" & RFC user Type is "system". Could you please suggest how to resolve the password inconsistancy issue.

Hi Chandan,
you need to run the txn. SECSTORE and there it will shows you all the RFCs that have inconsistent passwords. Please maintain the correct passwords there.
In case the existing passwords are no longer acceptable due to new security policies as per the new SAP version, you will have to change the password from SU01.

I am tyin to write code inside the include within a function module EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001.
Depending upon some condition i need to decide whether or not to call the Taxware RFC,,,,
While creating or changing sales order & purchase orders.
Do Someone know the name of the RFC being called in ECC 6.0.
How do i restrict the RFC from geting called.?

You can find all function module related to tax calculation in External system under the function group FYTX.
PS : But i don't much info whether these will be used for TAXWARE or VERTEX

Hope you are using the RFCUSER with these profile SAP_ALL , SAP_NEW , S_BI-WX_RFC in SAP ECC. Please create the RFCUSER with above profiles in ECC and BW (SAP_ALL , SAP_NEW and S_BI-WHM_RFC).
Pls follow the below steps for source system connection
In ECC side
1.) Client administration SCC4 ( select your client and allow changes to repository and cross client customizing)
2.) Define a logical system in ECC
3.) Assign a logical system in ECC
4.) Creating RFC user with system user type and give these profiles SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW, S_BI-WX_RFC
In SAP BI Side
1.) Client administration SCC4 ( select your client and allow changes to repository and cross client customizing)
2.) Define a logical system
3.) Assign a logical system
4.) Creating RFC user with system user type and give these profiles SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW, S_BI-WHM_RFC)
5.) Define RFC user as default (Click RSA1> Global Settings/Customizing dialog box> Glob. Settings)
Connection of SAP BI with ECC
RSA1> Source System>SAP>create>Enter the below entries
Target computer (server) Server of the SAP ECC
System ID System ID of the SAP ECC
System number System number of the SAP ECC
Background user in source system RFCUSER
Password for source system Password
Background user in BW RFCUSER (can not be changed in this activity)
Password for BW user Password
Select unicode in RFC destination and don't select the checkbox in logic screen.
On the dialog box Please log on as an basis administrator in the following screen choose Continue.
Log on to the Source System with your administrator user. Choose the correct client.
On the Replicate Metadata dialog box, choose Only Activate.
Make sure ECC client will allow changes in cross customizing client. It is one time activity once success then deselect the entry.

Sync LDAP users with ECC - Mapping required field

Hello,
I want to synchronize SAP ECC users with LDAP users.
At this moment I succeed to synchronize all users existing from the LDAP to the ECC.
But I want to filter users which need to be created by a specific attribute added in the LDAP.
I changed the LDAP mapping to add the "required" check on the corresponding to the specific attribute field. But when I use the RSLDAPSYNC_USER program, this required attribute is not considered.
What can I do to synchronize user which have the specific attribute filled. And not all users ?

In detailled:
- in the LDAP we have created a specific attribute name "SAP FIELD" (technical name is extensionAttribute10)
- in the LDAPMAP transaction in the ECC I modified the following entry:
" USERNAME | BAPIBNAME | sAMAccountName | X | X | X | X | | X | |"
By the following new:
" USERNAME | BAPIBNAME | extensionAttribute10 | X | X | X | X | | X | |"
So when I synchronize the LDAP, the LDAP specific extension is required (because linked to the SAP username). And if user doesn't has this specific attribute filled, it's not synchronized.

i want to know how can i get the list of t- codes and reports which is runed by users day wise.
Is there any way to know that .

Question on ADMIN rights for EP user with ECC also installed on same system

Hello EP/ECC gurus
I have a situation here where we have installed EP and ECC on the same system using same SID and system number.
I have logged into ECC using a user name that has been registered as a developer.
I can create a table, populate with data etc., without any problem.
However, when we try to use EP, we are getting errors that the says that there are no roles assigned to this user.
What are we doing wrong? Any suggestions or recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Hi Ram,
When the installation of EP was performed it should have created a user named J2EE_ADMIN. Try to log on to the portal with this account (password should be known from time of installation). You can examine the user/role assignments of your developer user and assign the portal roles you would like that particular user to have accordingly.

Defaulting the decimal ntoation for all internet webshop users

Hi,
is there any way (other than su01-as BASIS has not given any of us access to this transaction) to control the default decimal notation that the users see in transactions?
As of now, the default decimal notation of 1.234.567,89 visible to the users. We want to change it to 1,234,567.89. But rather than doing it for each user by going to su01 and Defaults, we want to know if we can control this at organization level itself so the new default is picked up for all existing and new users.

It is a part of master data and sap user maintenance. It will always be a Basis / business team responsibility. Yes, developers will not have access to SU01. That doesn't mean that you should start writing programming for something you don't have to.
Tell the business team what they have to do with the basis team. If there are plenty of (1000s of ) users and they want some automated procedure to update the information in SU01, then help them writing a small piece of code to change the required data.

SSO with different ECC and UME user

Hi everyone!
I'm in MII 12.1.10 and trying to configure MII for SSO logon on ECC through JCO connector. My problem is i have different user in ECC and UME. SSO was configured successfully when user are equals
ECC have a user mapping for users from AD and it's works for SSO on SAPGUI for example.
On MII, user are logged in with AD user. But when i try to call a RFC with a logon ticket didn't work.
So, SSO logon works if, and only if, ECC user and UME user are the same? Can ECC validate the ticket with AD mapping user?

Then only the ticket can be validated.
