  • ActiveX control "could not be loaded"

    G'Day everyone,
    I'm having a problem with my activeX controls (SHDocVw.IWebBrowser2 for example) - when I load and run a LabVIEW 6i VI with an ActiveX container on the front panel, I get an error 97 (Unknown System Error in Untitled.vi) out of its method node. If I load the same VI into LabVIEW 6.1, I get the same error, and the container has "Control could not be loaded" written in it. This isn't just limited to the web browser control, but others too. (they used to work a week or so ago, and I can't think of anything I've done to the system since then...) If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it!
    cheers,
    Christopher

    Unfortunately, it was *all* of my ActiveX controls that wouldn't load. That said, A user of the Info-LabVIEW list came up with the answer: reinstall the RunTime engine - wierd....
    thanks,

  • MapPoint Control 11 in Labview Container = Control could not be loaded

    I am working with Labview 6.1 to create an application using a "Microsoft MapPoint Control 11.0" ActiveX component. When I first create a container for it, I can insert the component and it will load and operate correctly. However, after closing the vi and reopening it, the container says "Control could not be loaded", and I need to re-insert the object to get it to work each time. I will need to compile and run this at some point, so I need to fix this problem or ditch Labview now. I have tried reinstalling Labview runtime and the MapPoint Application, but this does not fix the problem. Working with MapPoint as an automation object (without a container) seems to work ok, but I need interactive control through the container. Any suggestions?

    Ankita--
    Yup. Tried that one, as a search of the NI site comes up with reinstall and register as the only solutions for "control could not be loaded" errors ... but it didn't make a difference for me...
    Odd to think that it can run fine right after the control is loaded, but after save/close/reopen, it's not working... hmmm.

  • [Axtive X in a panel] "control could not be loaded"

    Hi I do an experiment in robot control. The setup is shown in the attached file.
    The problem occurs at the client site, the panel is loaded through the web page except the two ActiveX objects."control could not be loaded" was appeared rather than the objects.
    I searched the previous posts but I still unable to solve the problem at the client side.??
    Should I download the SDK for the activeX object at the ???

  • Alarm & Event (AlertView.dll) control report Control could not be loaded error on LV Runtime

    Hello, when I try to execute my application that use Alarm & Event control, the window show in red color the text: Control could not be loaded.
    I have tried to manually copy the AlertView.dll on C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared and then register the control with:
    regsvr32 C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\AlertView.dll
    but still the control is never on the screen.
    When the window is invoked and the ActiveX is loading the system show several error message (unable to initialize ComponetWorks control ...) and then exit the the red color error message Control could not be loaded.
    If I install the DSC everything works fine ...
    Any idea?
    Regards.
    Marco Savegnago

    Hi msave,
    I'm not sure I've understood correctly your problem, but reading your post it seems that you want to execute your application that loads an ActiveX control without installing the DSC module.
    I did some researches for you and what I found is that copying the alertview.dll (in your case) into the path: <drive:>\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared  and register it into regsrv32, may not be sufficient.
    National Instruments, suggests to install the DSC (and from your post it seems you can do it) in order to have correctly installed all the parts you need effectively (in fact, in your case when you install the DSC all seems to work properly).
    I hope I've been of some help

  • Web browser activex control could not be loaded in compiled exe

    Hi everyone.
    I just met this issue again. Previously I solved this issue by registering the mscomctl.ocx, nicont.dll, nicontdt.dll in version 7.1. Now we are using 8.5.2, and the problem came up again.
    I've tried the following:
    1. use the latest nicont.dll,nicontdt.dll on the installed computer. http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4B0C1BBDA9CFEBE7862573D0005D93C4
    2. tried to repair the run-time engine.
    knowledge base http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/5F06D38D61D883498625734800620168?OpenDocument
    How do we enforce to repair the run-time engine of 8.5.2?
    Thanks for any input.
    Jun

    Hello,
    The instructions on the knowledgebase are correct. You need to open Add/Remove Programs and then select the entry for National Instruments Software and click change or modify (whichever option is present for you). You can then follow the knowledgebase and select your run-time version.

    I started getting a Timed Out error message on my iPhone 5 when trying to browse the internet tthat reads Page could not be loaded.  Connection timed out.  I performed a Reset Network Settings and am still getting the error message.  What is the fix?

    Thanks so much for more direction.
    I realized that I bought this iPod T4 about a year ago, so decided to check the date and it is still under the 1 year ltd. warranty until 21 Dec.  I contacted Apple via Chat and was informed that the problem may lie in the version of iTunes I was running 10.7.  Today Apple released v. 11 of iTunes which I was instructed to download.  It's TOTALLY different from iTunes 10.7 - drastically different in fact.
    The Apple Chat Rep set up a phone call appointment forl 8:00 pm ET tonight where another Rep will call me to make sure the restore was accomplished OK.  With v. 11 of iTunes I can't even find the restore option!!!  The phone Rep will have to help me navigate v. 11 of iTunes.  It doesn't seem intuitive at all.  Maybe it's just me?!?!
    Thank you for sending this new link for firmware.  It's not clear to me right now whether I'll need it or not.  The phone Rep will probably somehow be able to resolve the problem.  If not, they'll probably send me to the nearest Apple store if the problem is hardware, as it would be covered under the warranty.  I will give another update as to what transpires as a result of the phone call with the Apple Rep.
    Again, thank you so much for helping me.

  • Specified Driver could not be loaded due to system error 5

    Hello,
    I am trying to run oracle 9i on my lap top. I installed the package from the website and got everything installed correctly. I checked my sqlnet.ora and tsnnames.ora files and the test connection in the ODBC driver is working fine.
    However, as i try and connect to the database through my ASP application i get the error:
    Code: 80004005
    Specified Driver could not be loaded due to system error 5
    I have been searching these forums for an answer and the closest solution i found was that something may be wrong with my path variable. I checked it and everything looks fine, it points to my /bin directory.
    I am not sure if it is something wrong with my driver (though i installed the latest one available) or something else. I Would appreciate any help anyone can offer.
    Thanks
    samir.

    The user that IIS runs as doesn't have appropriate access to the Oracle directory or to ODBC. There's a good, recent Usenet thread on this
    http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&threadm=3d119df8%240%24234%24ed9e5944%40reading.news.pipex.net&rnum=2&prev=/groups%3Fq%3DASP%2Bsystem%2Berror%2B5%2Bgroup:comp.databases.oracle.*%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26scoring%3Dd%26selm%3D3d119df8%25240%2524234%2524ed9e5944%2540reading.news.pipex.net%26rnum%3D2
    I'm assuming that you've verified that you can, say, create a new DSN with the Oracel driver and successfully test it with the "test connection" button.

  • "PDE bundle could not be loaded," HP 7510 All-in-One, Mac OS X 10.9.5

    The selection "PDE" in the print dialogue box is listed with a strikethrough.
    Choosing PDE displays the message "This bundle could not be loaded because the required components could not be found.  Contact the bundle's creator ... for the newest version. HP PDE 4.6.0."
    Haven't been able to find HP PDE download.
    Any help appreciated.

    You need to download the full Mavericks installer from the AppStore.  You need an Apple ID and you must claim the OS in your account.  If you are already running 10.9.5 it will tell you so.  Opt to download anyway.  Inside the installer is the InstallESD.dmg.
    However, this is an installer, not a "clone-able" image.  If you are looking to make a clone, then boot from the Recovery partition and opt to reinstall the OS fresh.  Or better yet, get an external drive and install Mavericks to the drive.  Then add all your software and customizations that are not user or device specific.  Once done, you can then capture a DMG can can be used to image other systems.

    Hi,
    I've been working on this most of the day without any luck. I'm wondering if anyone has seen something like this.
    PCNS can successfully deliver the password change to an AD target, so PCNS should be OK.
    The failure occurs when we add the Oracle EBS Web Service management agent to the password sync targets.
    The error message indicates that the Microsoft.IdentityManagement.WebService.MA.dll cannot be loaded due to an incorrect .NET framework version.
    An unexpected error has occurred during a password set operation.

    Forefront Identity Manager 4.1.2273.0"
    I ran an Environment.Version command and it returns that we are using 4.0.30319.296.
    In the dllhost.exe.config file, we have the settings:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
    <configuration>
    <configSections>
    <section name="resourceManagementClient" type="Microsoft.ResourceManagement.WebServices.Client.ResourceManagementClientSection, Microsoft.ResourceManagement"/>
    </configSections>

     When multiple versions of the runtime are listed, the first supportedRuntime element should specify the most preferred version of the runtime,
    and the last element should specify the least preferred version.
    Currently, the Synchronization Service supports the following runtime choices: v2.0.50727 and v4.0.30319. If selected, the version must be found in the \Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework or \Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64 directories.
    -->
    <startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true">

    </dependentAssembly>
    </assemblyBinding>
    </runtime>
    </configuration>
    So, I think it looks like it should be trying to run the dll under the 4.0.30319 framework. The documentation says that framework is required and we are running it.
    The dll is in the Extensions folder.
    Has anyone seen this before or something like it? Any ideas on where else I could check?
    Thanks,
    Sami

    Thank you for your reply. I've tried running in and out of proc with the same error showing up.
    I tried a few different modifications to the miiserver.exe.config (as well as Mmsscrpt.exe.config and the Dllhost.exe.config files). I tried changing 4.0.30319 to 4.0 as per this article:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/w4atty68.aspx
    Even though we are only on FIM R2 (not on SP1), I tried a variation on the config file changes recommended here:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2772429 but I referenced the newVersion as 4.0.1.0.
    Still no luck.
    Here's the miiserver.exe.config file. Maybe you'll see something glaringly wrong? Thank you for your help!

  • The database DLL 'crdb_oracle' could not be loaded.

    I have built a .net 2.0 website that is using Crystal Report Viewer with an Oracle 10g Database. All works well on my local machine but when deployed to the web server I get the following error:
    Failed to load database information. Details: The database DLL 'crdb_oracle.dll' could not be loaded. Error in File C:\DOCUME1\DMTEST\ASPNET\LOCALS1\Temp\test {BB80E9A1-92CE-402D-A52A-47ECE4330794}.rpt: Failed to load database information.
    I have run the Crystal Reports for .Net Framework 2.0 setup and have located the 'crdb_oracle.dll' file in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\2.7\Bin directory. Am I missing a step in this process.
    The Web Server is a Windows 2000 box.
    Thank,
    John

    I am having a similar problem.  However, I do not have CR installed, but want to use only CR from within VS 2008 and deploy a ASP.NET reporting app to IIS.  If I create a simple report with no parameters it will run fine in both VS and IIS.  However, if I add a parameter to the report such as UserId={?Parameter1} then on execution, the report will prompt for the parameter and then throw this error, "The database DLL 'crdb_oracle' could not be loaded."
    I have added full privileges to the ASP.NET, IUSR, and IWAM for the Oracle folder.  I also search the hard drive and find only one OSI.dll and no crdb_oracle.dll.
    Can you tell me if my scenario is supported with VS 2008 only?
    I am connecting to the DB like this:
                ConnectionInfo connectionInfo = new ConnectionInfo();
                connectionInfo.ServerName = "Driver={Microsoft ODBC for ORACLE};Server=localhost;Port=1521;";
                connectionInfo.DatabaseName = "dev";
                connectionInfo.UserID = "...";
                connectionInfo.Password = "...";
                TableLogOnInfos tableLogOnInfos = CrystalReportViewer1.LogOnInfo;
                foreach (TableLogOnInfo tableLogOnInfo in tableLogOnInfos)
                    tableLogOnInfo.ConnectionInfo = connectionInfo;
    Thank you,
    Travis

  • The class or interface 'mx.remoting.Service' could not be loaded.

    Flash 8 was reinstalled on a new machine upgrade. Application
    that uses flash remoting is unable to be updated after this new
    install error when trying to publish application is :
    The class or interface 'mx.remoting.Service' could not be
    loaded.
    is this because I do not have the "Flash Remoting for Flash 8
    ActionScript 2.0" extension installed?
    and if so do I have to re purchase this or can it be
    reinstalled from the old hard drive of the replaced machine? would
    it be a *.mpx file?
    The application works but I can't publish any new
    modifications without getting this error. and this just started
    since my machine was upgraded.. so I hope this is the problem...
    thanks in advance....

  • Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127: The specified procedure could not be found. (...SQORA32.DLL).

    I recently upgraded from 10g to 11g and upon this upgrade, a website of mine stopped working.
    It is a classic ASP website.  I added a "testdatabase" page to the website to test the basic functionality of opening a connection.  I've pasted the testdatabase page below.  Anyways, upon running this page, I get this error:
    Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127: The specified procedure could not be found. (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1_32bit, D:\app\oracleadm\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN\SQORA32.DLL).
    I have two other environments where I have done the same upgrade and the site works just fine.  I have compared all the IIS settings in my other environments to that of the one suffering from the error.  Also, in the IIS settings, I have made sure that "Allow 32bit" was checked.
    D:\app\oracleadm\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN\SQORA32.DLL is actually where this DLL resides.
    I have also checked to make sure the environment variables are correct.
    The very first environment variable in the PATH setting is D:\app\oracleadm\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin; and there are no other references to oracle in the PATH environment variable.
    I have done a google search and I've seen that people also tell me to check ORACLE_HOME to make sure it's correct.  I've checked this in both of the working environments and there is nothing there.  There is also nothing there in the broken environment.  What should be there?  If anything?
    I don't know where else to look.  What could be causing this error?
    <%
    Option Explicit
    Response.Expires = 0
    Response.Buffer  = true
    Dim conn
    Err.Clear
    On Error Resume Next
    Set conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
    conn.Open "DSN=RPS11;UID=FFXQM;PWD=ffxqm6prd$"
    If Err.Number <> 0 Then
    Response.Write (Err.Description & "<br><br>")
    Response.End
    conn.Close
    Set conn = Nothing
    End If
    conn.Close
    Set conn = Nothing
    On Error GoTo 0
    %>

    As a temporary solution, add the Administrators group to the IUSR and IWAM userids and see if that works. If it solves the problem, then it IS a matter of setting the users privledges correctly.

  • SQORA32 driver could not be loaded. System error 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed

    I have an MS Access 2013 application that opens a connection to an Oracle database via an Oracle client.
    On occasion the application returns the following error when the ODBC connection is opened:
    Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error
    1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1, C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\SQORA32.DLL).
    This is an intermittent problem that is reproducible on several workstations (all running Windows 7 x64 with 32-bit version of Office 2013 and 32-bit Oracle client 11.2.0).
    Many times the ODBC connection is established without a problem
    Other times the connection can be established by closing then re-opening the application once
    Other times closing the re-opening the application several times does not help
    The same application is being run on several workstations and not every user experience the problem at the same time. The problem may be chronic for one user whereas another user experiences no problem whatsoever.
    All of the posts I have seen concerning this issue are for a persistent problem opening a connection and not an intermittent one. I am at a loss of how to diagnose this problem and would appreciate some direction.

    Hi Ross,
    This error message is Microsoft Data Link Error, this error occurs on windows when attempting to start a service or load a system driver but the DLL you loaded or one of its dependencies returned FALSE. It typically point to a system DLL file which is located
    in system32 and can be fixed by using the System File Checker tool. In your case, I suspect that it occurs due to a calling failure connecting to ODBC driver and it pointed to an error link C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\SQORA32.DLL which is hosted by oracle.
    If they are analogous, a “repair” seems to be helpful, However since we are not expert about oracle program I‘d suggest you check if C:\app\Oracle\BIN\SQORA32.DLL file exists on your machine and contact with Oracle first, I think there you can get more effective
    suggestion by other experts who familiar with design of Oracle database. Your understanding is highly appreciated.
    By the way, I searched for you and seems like you are not alone about this issue.
