Website claims it's only compatible with v. 3 or earlier of Firefox - how do I access it?
My investment plan website refuses to display. It claims to only be compatible with Firefox 3.5 or earlier. Since you've put out several updates since then - how do I access the website without downgrading Firefox?
Is it possible to run two different versions of Firefox? How would I do that?
Only if yhad already purchased a previous version of the app that was compatible with 3.1.3. The App sore only sel the curent version.

What you need to do is temporarily set up your new 4. Just long enough to update the operating system. Then you can erase all content and settings - which puts it back to its out of box state, then set it up again, this time restoring it from the backup of your two.
So, using the same Apple ID on both - just to keep things easy - set up your 4. Just basically choose 'set up as new' to activate it, then immediately update the iOS to 7.1.2.

I accidentally deleted GarageBand on my MacBook Pro, version 10.6.8. The new version of GarageBand is only compatible with 10.9 and above. Is it possible to still get the older version? OR, can I get another copy of the startup CD that came with my computer so that I can reinstall GarageBand?
The new version of GarageBand is only compatible with 10.9 and above.
If your Mac can run MacOS X 10.6.8, it probably can be upgraded to Yosemite, if you don't have to stick to Snowleopard for other reasons.
Is it possible to still get the older version?
Amazon or eBay are still selling iLife '11 installer disks, and you could reinstall GarageBand from these DVDs. But it will be expensive.
Have you checked your backups, if you can restore GarageBand from a backup?
OR, can I get another copy of the startup CD that came with my computer so that I can reinstall GarageBand?
Sometimes the AppleStore Support will replace missing installer CDs for a fee. -

It would help if you give us the exact model JVC camcorder you have.
That said, nearly all miniDV camcorders (including JVC miniDV cams) transfer video via Firewire (aka iLink or IEEE 1394), not USB. And no drivers are required, at least not on a Mac. If you have a more recent Mac that has a Thunderbolt port (no Firewire port), you can use an Apple Thunderbolt-Firewire adapter to connect your camcorder to your Mac (although you may also need a 4-pin to 9-pin FW cable).
Also, on miniDV camcorders that have both Firewire and USB connections, the USB connection is almost exclusively reserved for transferring still photos from the memory card in the camcorder, not video from the miniDV cassettes. -

Nothing. The 2nd Gen Touch is OBSOLETE and is WAY past its support life. If you want to run the newer apps you have to buy a newer iPod. -

Safari 4 was for Tiger 10.4.11, and Safari 5 for Leopard. Neither will work on a system running Mountain Lion.

The drive as a whole can’t be read on a PC without installing software such as MacDrive on it.
The answer varies for individual document files; some file formats can be read by Windows software, while others can't.

You can sync apps through iTunes, as a backup. You can't run those apps on your Mac, though.

I recently purchased a Seagate Backup Plus Slim portable hardrive. Despite Seagate claiming the product is compatible with OS X 10.5 I cannot get the installer to launch. Has anyone encountered the same issue and found a viable solution?
A Gigaware 9pin to 4pin fw cable solved my issue. The Rocketfish fw cable was crap. And that thing cost me $24.99 from Best Buy. Getting my money back for sure.

The AirPlay feature is only compatible with iTunes and a few third party music streaming programs, correct? It doesn't work in the same way that Bluetooth works where any sound that comes through your computer then comes through the Bluetooth device while its activated, right?

I am running Yosemite and have just bought Pro Tools Express with the intent to Upgrade to Pro Tools 11. Pro Tools Express is not compatible with Yosemite and will not install. How can I get this done?
I have had this problem for close to a year. I have an Extreme base station, two Airport Express's and multiple G4 Mac's with up to date software. I have spent a huge amount of time trouble shooting, resetting, reapplying software and finally calling Applecare without any help. It would be great to get this problem solved.
