The Satellite A215-S7428 seems to be designed for the US market and if you need any information, drivers, tools or want to register the warranty then you should use the Toshiba US website!!!!

Hello,
I bought my Toshiba Canvio Basics 3.0 hard drive from Amazon a little under two months ago. The hard drive stopped working for some reason (I didn't drop it or anything, it just stopped working).
I was of course trying to use my warranty to fix it or exchange it, but the Toshiba website doesn't recognize my serial number and product number. They're right there, black and white on the sticker on the back of my hard drive, but the website says they're invalid.
Anyone has any clue what's going on? I'd rather not throw 50 euros out the window for less than two months of use.
Product number is HDTB105XK3AA -- and not HDTB105*E*K3AA as some websites say (including Amazon).

Just adding to the above comments, I have a simialr issue. bought a 3gb drive from amazon and now 8 months later it has just stopped working (wont power up at all) again it has just sat new to my computer working fine for the last 8 months and has now just stopped.
I contacted amazon and got this reply from the seller:

Odd issue. Toshiba website doesn't recognize my serial number. Has anyone encounted that? I assume alpha characters are upper case. Serial number is 9 characters long with alpha characters at either end of string.

No audio and website doesn't recognize my log in but other browser do.

I'm and online student and they say it only works in Firefox, however, when I log on to their site it doesn't recognize my user name and password, then I request a new password and it lets me in, but when I go to play the audio exercises I get no audio.

Does the unrecognized login come back again and again, or have you solved that one by resetting your password?
Regarding no audio, some users have reported that Firefox does not work correctly with their speakers but it does work with a headset. Have you noticed anything like that?
More generally:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* click the padlock or globe icon in the address bar > More Information > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Financial website doesn't recognize my computer and asks security questions each time I log in

When I sign into a financial website it doesn't remember my mac and requires me to answer security questions each time. I called the website and they said the problem is with my mac's settings. Anyone else have this problem?

They do it for YOUR protectoin and security and to avoid someone else pretending to be you.
They may or may not use cookies and other things.
it is possible it was designed to work with a differenent browser or even platform though I would say that has gotten rarer.

Enable the Developer menu in Safari and User Agent setting to 'tell' a site you are using something else;

Belarc Advisor.
When you run it you will see your serial number in the top right area. Check if it is the same.
It will also give you a lot more technical information about your computer, its security status and what you can do about it, including the key codes for your Windows products.

Hi all. i have a yellow Question mark on "Multimedia Audio Controller" (MAC) i have run my install CD sucessfully. Question mark still there. Downloaded new driver from creative web site:

after i click RUN, it extracts files then a message say it does not recognize a supported program on my computer.
Actually this program is unsupported, "at the end of it's life" by creative but the driver is on the website to be downloaded.
I am sure the MAC software is Creative. PCI\ven_1102&DEV_0004.

Azure Website doesn't recognize my Database's Table after changing the Schema

I have a Microsoft Azure Website running and working with an Azure SQL Database for the sole purpose of storing and retrieving user accounts. However I needed a mobile client as well there fore according to numerous tutorials online such as [THIS][1],
I had to change the 'schema' of the database from 'dbo' to my mobile service's name which is 'usermobileservice'.
This was done using the SQL query:
CREATE SCHEMA usermobileservice; ALTER SCHEMA usermobileserviceTRANSFER dbo.usertable;
This did the trick and I was able to connect to the Database using my mobile applications BUT now I can't access the database using my Azure Website! Gives me this error:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Invalid object name 'UserTable'.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid object name 'UserTable'.
I believe the ASP.NET Web Application cannot find the Database Table anymore since I changed the schema? What is the right way of sharing the data between a Website and a Mobile Service?

AppleCare Doesn't Recognize Serial Number

I am trying to install AppleCare on my new iMac, but it says my serial number is incorrect. I've checked and rechecked it, and I've typed it in correctly. I'm not sure how to fix this problem. Any ideas?

Go to the Apple on the menu bar and select *About This Mac* and click twice on the small text "Version 10.5.4" right under the large *Mac OS X*.

How can I find the serial number from CS4 for my mac? I remembered it being on the box, but now I can't find it, and they website I thought to have registered it to doesn't recognize the e-mail I would have used then I got it.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but the website recommend I ask here. I bought the CS4 when I bought my macbook pro in when I was in college. I remember there being 2 serial numbers, so I could install to one other computer. That macbook pro finally died, and now I have a new mac which I am trying to re-install the creative suite on, only I can't find the serial number. The two stickers on the back of the CS4 box (which i thought were the serial numbers) don't look like that they're asking for, and the website listed on the inside of the box for me to register to doesn't recognize my e-mail (which hasn't changed since buying CS4). I bought an iPhone 4s 32gb from Singapore. I'm living in Chennai, India. To connect it to my computer (windows XP,), I have downloaded iTunes 10.6.1.7. Unfortunately iTunes is not recognizing my iPhone. I had tried to troubleshoot it by reinstalling iTunes (2 times). I have restarted the apple mobile device from control panel. I try connecting my iphone in another usb port. but no use. I don't know what am I missing?. iTunes opens on my computer. but doesn't recognize my device. when I click on help. it says an "unknown error has occurred. your computer is not connected to internet. please check your internet connection and try again later".
