Website for Group Sharing / Group Collaboration of Keynote Files?

We have a totally virtual company and are based around the US in different locations.
We exclusively use keynote for all our trainings and we are looking for a website where we can upload our Keynote slides (not compressed/zipped/pdfed/powerpointed) in their natural file state as a Keynote slide. Then once it is uploaded we can watch it, swap out slides etc.
Has anyone come across such a site?

there's no technology available that I know of to rip a raw .key file into a viewable preso on a web page. The best you might be able to do is find some way to run the server ON a mac, and script it to pull new uploaded files, open them in Keynote and export them as QT movies, and then make them available for viewing. I have no idea if it would work without being baby sat for glitches in the uploaded files as they open in Keynote though.

Then your azure website can use those CDNs that you provide in azure (just like any other CDN out there like Jquery Ajax etc ..)

Shared numberVar for Group

Dear All,
I have made a report which has 1 group called Project Number. The report contains Sales Order Project Number which is a Row level database field and Sales Order Document Total
Now I have made a 2nd Report which is from AR Invoice which also has a 1 group and has Project Number which is a Row Level database field and AR invoice Document Total
Now I am trying to attach the AR Invoice report as a subreport in the Main Sales Order report and want to bring the AR Invoice document total in the corresponding group level of Sales Order. Means the basic concept of this whole report is to have for a particular Project Number what is the Sales Order Document Total and for it what is the AR invoice document Total been made so that I can get a backlog figure.
I have tried to use the formula's as followings :
Sales Order Formula 1
shared numberVar InvoiceValue;
AR Invoice Formula 2
shared numberVar InvoiceValue :=ToNumber ({Command. Total Invoice Value})
And I have bought the formula 1 in Sales Order report in Group Header.
Now the problem is that for the groups for which AR invoice document total is not there the formula is brining the values for the above document total.
Basically I want that the formula should work for group level and not for individual lines. If the coressponding Sales Order project number has corresponding AR Invoice project number document total then it should bring or else not.
Please advise how to crack it.

All Shared Numbervar formula should really start with
whileprintingrecords;
The vars in Main report and Subreport should have different names eg IInvoiceValueAR and InvoiceValueSO, use another formula in main report to add them together.

To overcome empty AR report make sure you reset the variable, place reset formual in AR subreport header

Location of security xml files for groups

We are having some issues migrating security(only) from one sysmte to another in EPM 11.1.2 for a planning application. Is there any other way to migrate security?
Where are the xmls for each group's security stored?

We are working with Oracle on an MSAD issue in one of our environments. One of their suggestions is to recreate the essbase.sec file. Since all security needs to be rebuilt from scratch after this happens(and we have A LOT of security), we were wondering if we could somehow save all the groups etc if we locate the xml's for the same. Would it be possible to save all the security for groups etc in shared services somehow?

After LDAP failure rebuild I cannot turn on Wiki for group

Our LDAP database died today so I converted the Open Directory Master to Standalone then back to an Open Directory Master and rebuilt our users and groups. No settings were changed in the Web section of the server. But now I cannot choose anything from WorkGroup Manager -> (Group) -> Basic -> Enable the following services for this group on: It only offers me "(None)" and not our site.
I removed the site from the Web settings and made a new one, still the same behavior.
I feel like I'm missing something obvious, can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you rebuilt the LDAP and ensured the UIDs are the same for groups as before, it seems rebuilding the connection with web service is not complete.
I have had to do the following after some upgrades:
If you have your groups listed in the website under Web Services /Services for Groups then remove them, restart web service (or teams), reinstall the groups in the Services for Groups and again restart web service. Then Enable the services for each group in WGM.

Read Only for "Group" and "Others" via SMB

I see when Windows vista users of my OS X 10.5.8 server save a file to the server, the permissions show on the server as Read & Write for the owner and Read Only for 'Group' and 'Others'.
Is there a way I can make the OS X server always make 'Group' and 'Others' always be Read & Write?

It's using a shared component LOV cleverly called LOV_YN which consists of a static LOV with
1 Display=Yes, Return=Y
2 Display=No, Return=N
The settings in the LOV section on the item iteself:
Named LOV: LOV_YN
Display Extra values: No Dynamic translation: Not translated
Number of columns: 2 Display null: No
Null display value is blank as is null return value
Item was setup as a radio group and was only converted over to a select list to work around this issue. Let me know what else you need and thanks again.

Who has found the "separate interfaces" for File Service data mentioned in the referenced article? I cannot figure out how to get Mountain Lion OS X Server to move away from the /Groups folder for Group Services.

I have been looking at this also and am also very annoyed that Apple has chosen not to surface this functionality in the Server administration GUI for system administrators. It must be part of their drive to 'prettify' OS X Server — a terrrible mistake and the persons responsible should be sacked and some people with real (painful) sysadmin experience be put in responsibility. Strong words I know, but read on...
The minute someone decides to install OS X Server they go from being a 'user' to being, whether they like it or not, a 'sysadmin'. It is no trivial thing being a systems administrator, and sysadmins very quickly, with respect to touching systems, become familiar with this sentiment : "Be afraid, be very afraid..."
The functionality to change the location of the File Sharing — Groups, Server Public (Shared Items) & Users — mount points exists in OS X Server. In fact it can (should be able to I believe — I have not tried it... yet) be changed with one command... if necessary preparations have been done.
To view all the server settings for file sharing issue this command in Terminal:

we will then see the following for Groups (there is more listed for users etc. folders I haven't shown), I have blanked out some site specific information.

This is based on, in my installation, of having the Groups folder in the original default location of "/Groups". One of the lines shows clearly what needs to be changed to move (change mount point) '/Groups' to a new location...
The concern I have with the way you moved the Groups folder is it may not work cleanly long term because just symbolically linking the folder may not be sufficient.
Also using rsync with '-avvE' options copies the extended attributes (ACLs) but setting/copying the (traditional) Unix owner and group ownership & permissions (which are also used by OS X) are not done. If the command is executed as root then all the copied files & directories will change owner & group to root's. The following rsync switches should be used
--owner
--group
--perms
preferably though the Unix 'cp' command should be used with the '-a' switch, something like this:
cp -a /Groups /Volumes/VolumeName/SomeNewFolder
N.B. no trailing '/' is used.
Of course this is untested by myself as yet, and you should check and confirm yourself. I have a Parallels OS X virtual machine I will install OS X Server on to try this, I will not do on my production server.
You will note that I have not listed the the serveradmin settings command to change where OS X Server should look for the '/Groups' folder can you see what it should be? I can post what I believe it should be if you wish, let me know.
Of course all of the above relies on the fact that OS X Server will not get 'upset' with us changing a setting outside of a, non-existant in the first place, GUI surfaced settting function. Which again is why I would like to test this on a virtualised server. Of course you can give it a try, I would be obviously interested to hear how it goes — I would do a full backup first though. After making the serveradmin settings change I would reboot the server.

Tiger Server - umask for RW for Group for New Folders?

Folks;
I've read numerous thread here and elsewhere and I've done what I believe to be the right thing BUT it just is not working!
A share with ACLs NOT enabled - using only AFP with Posix (not inherited).
What I want is for new folders to be created with rwxrwxr-x.
This appears to mean changing the umask to '002' or 2 'octal'.
So I have changed added an NSUmask (number =2) to:
/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist
I then rebooted the server.
What I observe is that folders are still created with ReadOnly for the Group.
Can someone point out what I need to do?

Folks;
OK now I am really confused.
I bailed on just using the Posix permissions.
In WGM I selected Sharing.
I selected the volume I am interested in.
On 'General' I set just 'Share this item..'
On 'Protocols' I select AFP and 'Inherit permissions from parent'
On 'Access' I set the Group (staff) to 'Read & Write'
Then using the action widget I 'propogate permissions' propogating the 'Group' permissions' to all children.
This all works fine.
When I mount the voume as a member of staff I see 'read/write' item.
When I create a new folder -> creates ReadOnly for the group!!
What the heck!!!
So I also test by leaving all above in place and adding back the global NSUmask as described here and elsewhere.
Same result!! Yes I rebooted the server...
Man o' man...
I have now spent a huge amount of time on this, what I thought would be a simple matter.....
Would some kind soul please describe a mechanism which will allow new folders to be read/write for group?

Calculation of Depreciation for Group Asset

Hi Experts,
I am getting a problem while doing depreciation for group asset
Ex: 80,000; Rate 10%
total depreiaiton p.a is Rs 8000/-
as per the Indian standards if it is below 180 days it should take Rs 4000/-, but in my system it is showing Rs 3333.33
my depreciation start date & capitlization date is 01.11.2007.

Looking at your Questions let us take explanation for Group Assets :-
1 ) We need to create new different asset class for Group Class in OAOA. Then permit the depreciation area for only Group Asset in OAYM as it is in your current scenario India is Depreciation Area 15 Just select your company code in OAYM and check the Grp Asset field for respective area 15. Then go to OAAX here we have to maintain the assets classes particularly for Group Assets. So check your Group Asset classes for Group Assets. Cerate different Group asset classes for your said requirement.
In these depreciation areas, it is then possible to make an assignment to a group asset. You make this assignment in the specifications for the depreciation area in the asset master record. When you post an acquisition to this kind of asset, the system duplicates the line items from this depreciation area on the given group asset.
2 ) According to me you have to create different depreciation keys for Group Asset classes. Assign the Depreciation keys to your newly created Group Asset Classes in OAYZ and make sure you are deactivating 01 area which is Book Depreciation area.
3 ) As far as I know this is the only functionality available to handle Group Assets. How ever SAP does not have any standard Group Assets functionality. SAP does not supply asset classes to be used solely for group assets. It is we have to determine as per varying Business Process.

How do you change the volume used for group folders in Lion Server?

So I'm slowly acclimating to Lion Server, however, I'm not able to determine how to specify the parent folder for Groups. By default it's the /Groups root directory on the boot volume however I'm trying to change it to an alternate drive on a separate volume. I've tried removing the sharepoint from the 'Server' admin utility and adding the alternate Group folder (on a separate volume) but to no avail.
Has anyone else worked with this?

Open Workgroup Manager app, from the ServerAdminTools, (link) enter your domain name for your server (FQDN), enter your OpenDirectory administrator user and password, go to Groups > Groups Folder.

Symptom
On Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2, when you use the Search for Group Policy Objects feature in GPMC, the “Value” field is not populated when you choose “User Configuration” as the Search Item. (See Figure 1.)

Cause
The happens because the Data of the (Default) value of the following Registry Key is not correct.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions\{4D2F9B6F-1E52-4711-A382-6A8B1A003DE6}]
By default the Data is (value not set). (see Figure 2)

Resolution
The registry keys under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions] are the Group Policy Preference Client Side Extensions. The CSE name of the GUID {4D2F9B6F-1E52-4711-A382-6A8B1A003DE6} is
RemoteApp and Desktop Connections. Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
1. Locate the registry key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions\{4D2F9B6F-1E52-4711-A382-6A8B1A003DE6}]
2. Take the ownership of this key: Right click on the registry key and choose Permissions option and click the Advanced button on the dialogue window. Then on the Advanced Security Settings dialogue window, click Change button to take the ownership
of the key for the current logon account and make the current logon account Full Control permission with the registry key. (See Figure 3.)

3. Change the data of (Default) value from "(value not set)" to
"RemoteApp and Desktop Connection Component". (See Figure 4)

How to accout unplanned depreciation for group assets

Friends,
Unplanned depreciation is accounted for group assets few years ago.This is for special depreciation areas.
Now i would like to reverse this amount as write up unpalnned depreciation, but system is throwing eror message that: This function is not possible for group assets.
OR
The issue what we are facing is special dep areas has one cent as -ve acquisition due to which we are unable to deactivate the asset. This one cent was accounted as unplanned dep few years ago. How do we make the APC as zero when it has -ve APC in special dep areas.
pl, suggest how to go about this.

Hi,
This is not possible in the standard and this is not a from SAP intended and provided solution. Therefore I ask you to be really careful and test it bevore on a test system. (and perhaps to discuss this with your SAP consultant)
The workaround to remove the group asset from table ANLB-ANLGR from the asset could be done by creating your own program.

I want to take a print out from Group Deliveries I did the output determination, created the output condition record and created the group delivery when am trying to take the print out system giving the message that
No output has been selected for printing
, system not considering the condition record. when ever i want to print the group delivery, manuallay I am enter the information because of the above problem.

Check in the following IMG path
Logistics Execution => Shipping => Basic Shipping Functions => Output Control => Output Determination => Maintain Output Determination for Groups => Maintain Output Determination Procedure.
Here ensure that you have maintained the required condition type there. Next click "Assign Output Determination Procedures" and ensure that you have assigned the required output procedure for your Group Type
