Website insists I need to update my PDF reader even though I just did it
I'm trying to download some documentation from the Canada Consulate to ask for my visa and it says I need to update my acrobat reader. I click on the link, download the exe and try to install and it states that I ALREADY HAVE IT INSTALLED. When I try to download the documentation again, it still says I need to install it.
What do I do??? I need to download these!
Don't try to view these documents in a browser like Chrome or FireFox because they don't use Adobe Reader. Instead, just save the file to your desktop and open it from there.

I keep my Firefox up-to-date at all times but the last few weeks Gmail has been telling me that I am using an older version which it no longer supports even though I have the updated version. I was notified that Firefox could be updated to the newest version, which I did. Safari Tells Me I Need to Update Flash Even Though I Just Did
Safari and Firefox were both telling me while using YouTube that I needed to upgrade my version of Flash. So I upgraded and now Firefox no longer gives me the upgrade message, but Safari still gives me the following message: "Upgrade to the latest Flash Player for improved playback performance. Upgrade now ormore info."
The part that looks empty says "Upgrade now or more info" with two links in the original. (I tried changing the font color to make them visible but obviously it didn't work.Actually I just clicked the little x at the side of the message and it disappeared and doesn't reappear when I leave and return to YouTube. I guess we'll see when I reboot Safari if it's gone for good nor not. :-P

I have a macbook pro, and am trying to update my software. I recently bought an iphone 5, and my software is to out of date to sync my phone with itunes. I currently am running 10.5.8 and I need to update to atleast 10.6.8. Just wondering if I need to purchase it from apple or if there is an easy/free way to update it.
you need to purchase it: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard. It is only on a disk, not in download form.

While trying to update my iPhone 4 to iOs6 it froze on the connect to itunes screen and i needed to do a restore. But it restored my phone to january 2011 even though i just backed my phone to my laptop up 2 weeks ago. I still have all my contacts but i lost a lot of apps and text messages. Is there any way to make it restore to my most recent back up?
I tried powering down and re-starting the iPhone (as suggested at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275). This seems to have cleared the "...not connected to the Internet" problem, and iOS 6.1 is now in the process of downloading.

I can't install and update any application, even for the free app the system ask me to sign in to the billing payment. Even though that I did sign, it still declined. Any one could help, please
All Apple iTunes Store accounts must have a valid form of payment set up. Even for free apps and updates. The Payment Declined message comes from your card issuer or payment source; Apple is just a pass-through for the message. You need to find out why your issuer is declining your card.

my ipod tells me my apple id password is wrong even though I just changed the password. I can log on via my desktop, but the ipod continues to tell me that the password is incorrect, so I can't update any apps. when I continue to to try to enter the correct password in it finally freezes the account, and I have to go online via my desktop to fix that problem. I have two apple id's because when my ipod crashed I had to reset it completely. I have never had any problems with this before, and it has been a year since I got my second id, which is linked to the ipod. My first id is used for the cloud on the same device. My wife suggested I reset documentson the cloud for the second id, however, when I try to log on the cloud with my current id, it tells me I have to set up the cloud on that device, but it is already done, but with the old id.

Itunes would not update my Ipad soft citing insuficient space on PC to back up Ipad files. Even though I just baked up Ipad through Itunes on the very same PC.
It seems that Itunes is disconected from itself and is not able to track processes within itself for the same device in the same session. Any solutions?Hello there, EllVar.

Cannot download the latest update 7.1.1 even though plugged in and on wifi keeps saying error help!!!!!
I am not getting an errr #. It just says that there are purchases on my ipod, not in my itunes. I transfer all of my ipod purchases into itunes. Then I try an download the new version of my ipod 7.1.1. It still says there are purchases on my ipod touch. So I just hit continue because their are not purchases on my ipod, that aren't in itunes. It extracts the software, and backs up ipod. Then itunes just closes. When I reopen it I get the same message A new iPod software version (7.1.1) is available for the iPod “My" iPodl”. Would you like to update your iPod now? My imac has recently been restored to as new, I have the newest ipod touch, and my version of itunes is also the newest version. The only thing that I can assume is that the problem, is another untested & bad update, from Capn Cook.

Hello, I have installed Reader, Adobe Acrobat, trial versions of Photoshop and Illustrator. Some more than once. They work for a few days at most then I am told to re-install. I cant look at any pdf file even though I can still see reader in my programs. What is going on and what can I do to fix this?
Unfortunately no, It says "Adobe not responding" as well when I try to open a pdf. It has done this a few times where I had to uninstall and reinstall. Also, Illustrator tells me to uninstall/reinstall as well.

Please tell me a bit more--what happens when you try to open your files in Reader? Are you getting an error message? Do they open, but don't display correctly?

THe message is misleading. Save the file to your desktop, even though all you see is the message. Then, open the saved file in Reader.
