Website is no longer working

My website is no longer working. I use it for ordering online caricatures, and need it up as soon as possible. I do not remember if I have done anything to cause this or if maybe something else. Please help me.
I did check and I am current and up to date with my .mac account, and have plenty of storage. Working with OSX 10.4.11 and iWeb1.1.2 Powerbook G4. Really for everything has been working fine for years and now it's just not working?
If I go to iweb and click view published site I get the following:

I have two domain addresses that point to my mac site which our DrawForYou.com and Draw4You.com and I have much business, flyers, cards etc. which puts a halt on my business, Please help.

It might be helpful to post your address for others to double check on your behalf. I've had the exact problem you describe, and have found ways around it, but am not sure they've been the same solution each time, or if they're .Mac "approved" solutions.
Have you updated our site recently and inadvertently changed a name or accidentally added a space or perhaps moved it? That asked, however, there's something that fails between designing a site in iWeb and sending it up to the iDisk, then trying to view it through the "Visit Your Site" dialogue that shows up, agreed.
I think the last time I needed to solve this, I went into my iDisk and moved the newly created site from iDisk>Web>Sites>iWeb into the main Sites folder that shows up in the first level of iDisk. Then I went to Homepage in .Mac and created a new site, linking the new Homepage site to the just moved folder.
Since I use a registered domain name to point to my site, though, my answer may not suit you.
Could it be that you and I, by using iWeb 1.1.2 on OS 10.4.11 have somehow been left behind by iWeb '08?

Video's on CNN Website will no longer work

I'm running safari 2.0.2 with OSX Tiger 10.4.3 and I can no longer watch video's on the CNN website. Never had a problem before. I get the following error message "error creating unique tmp file". Anyone else having a similar problem?

CNN uses WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. And WMP is not compatible with TIGER. Unfortunately. Someone made a patch. But apparently it doesn't work. So you'll have to watch CNN some other way.

Libary website links no longer work after "upgrading" to FF 10 and up

Greetings, since upgrading to FF 10.0.1 & 10.0.2 my library website (http://www.lincc.org) links do not work when clicked. The current page just reloads. Found last night that if I clear the cache before each link click it works fine. How do I submit this bug?

I did as suggested, started in safe mode with extensions disabled, hardware acceleration disabled, and themes set to default. Issue still occurs. A question was made what type of links are they, "regular or javascript". Sorry I don't know. Here are copies of two of the links.

Ever since i downloaded OSX Mountain Lion, Express VPN no longer works properly for me. Even though it says I am connected, webpages refuse to load. However, everything works fine when its turned off. I cannot go on many websites without the VPN.

I am having the same issue listed above on my new Mac Mini i just bought, I also contacted Express VPN support and got the same instructions with exception of the command to run in the utilities terminal. I tried the steps listed, and both commands (posted here, and sent to me directly by Express VPN support), and still unable to connect on my Mac Mini running OS X 10.8.2, but I am able to connect on my iPad and my MacBook which is running Mac OS X 10.6.8. Usually Express VPN is spot on with their customer support, but this is taking longer to get resolved. Here is the steps sent to me

Some of the links in a site I use are no longer working now that I have done the software update.
Ie.. I use an online canteen programme to order lunch for my kids but now I can no longer use some of the websites links. I've contacted the company and they think its an iOS update issue and have stated its out of their control- how can I rectify this?

I know it must be frustrating when a website that you normally use is no longer working the way you would expect. The first thing I would suggest looking at your cookies in Settings > Safari. Please reference the attached article for further information. The article goes up to iOS 7 but the settings are in the same place in iOS 8.

The visitor counter on my website no longer works on Firefox but still works in ME. How do I fix it?

I have a free visitor counter (by easycounter.com) on my website. It has been working fine in both Firefox (3.6.16) and MS Internet Explorer.
Yesterday, I noticed it no longer works with Firefox but still fine with MS IE.
Earlier in the week I did download a few add-ons recommended by Firefox.
Can anyone advise what the problem might be and how to fix it? The code for the counter is still intact on my page at www.qsl.net/ve3bdb.

Incidentally, the page now takes forever to load when using MS IE, but I don't know if that's related.

No problems here with that visited counter on your website.
Which extensions did you install?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I just got an iPad 2 and want to get swtiched over to iCloud, but will wait if it will make my website inaccessible.

Your iDisk, together with your website and Gallery if you have one, will be unaffected and will continue exactly as before after you migrate to iCloud.
The migration process will probably log you out of MobileMe so you may need to go to System Preferences>MobileMe and log back in to be able to access your iDisk in the Finder. Web access will be unaffected.
You will need Lion 10.7.2 on your iMac.

About the HTML editor: is in the admin side of aspdotnetstorefront shopping cart software. It is used when entering new products for sale in the database.

Surf stick no longer working with Lion

I have installed Lion straight away and unfortunately my 3G USB surfstick is no longer working. I have the T-Mobile Internet Manager 03 and no connection is available at all.
Seems it has something to do with the Novamedia Disk Suppressor. No longer supported???

On the issue of Lion, and the XLR8 devices?
Apple did change a number of items, that limited the XtraView's ability (this is the one, with the built-in audio on the older 2820 chipset). Audio, just won't work in 64-bit mode.
The easy workarounds are to boot into 32-bit mode (hit 3 and 2) on boot.
To check if you are in 64 bit mode, go to the System Profiler (Apple Menu > More Info > Software (left pane) and see if the 64 bit is loaded.
If in 32-bit mode you are still having an issue, please check that you are running XLR8 version 1.4.6. You can download new versions at http://XLR8.com.
You can email XLR8 for a free audio cable (Mac sound jack to RCA audio), or for $25, XLR8 can upgrade you to the new 2860 device that works in 64-bit mode.
Now, that hopefully, we have you working again... about Daystar. Actually XLR8 has always developed, built and shipped the devices. Daystar just had a bigger name and was an Apple Authorized Reseller. But, the Apple relationship ended, and Daystar closed.
XLR8, LLC will continue to support the devices and we will continue to provide great products and good support (sorry, we are a small company, and due to limited time... I can only provide "good" support. Maybe one day, it will be great.)

Shuffle no longer working with headset

Today I got prompted to upgrade my iPod software so I did...and the shuffle (2nd gen) no longer works. The flashy lights were green orange green orange. I went to the help website and dutifully restored factory settings with iTunes. Still doesn't work. Played with various permutations of the off switch (including the 5 second wait mentioned on the help site)and repeating the restore pathway and that didn't work either. The shuffle loads music fine and iTunes recognizes it and even plays the music but when I undock it (making sure to disconnect the shuffle properly) and connect headphones and hit play, the green/orange blinkies reappear.
Any ideas?
itune version is 7.3.1.3
ipod version is 1.0.4
I suspect this may be part of the problem. I can't upgrade to the latest version of iTunes because of my OS (win 2000). So I'm hypothesizing that when the shuffle tried to update, it failed due to the old iTunes version and somehow the drivers got screwed up.
Also, I just downloaded the iPod reset utility and tried that to no avail.
Any ideas? or should I just go to a store?

It's not a hardware issue. I have the exact same circumstance. After being prompted and then updating the software on my shuffle, it quit working. All I get is the green-orange flashing light. iTunes recognizes it's connected, restore works, and syncing works, but the shuffle does not work.

Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

and confirm. Test.

Divx and other media related plugins always crash and/or no longer work, please help

Why is nothing of divx seems to work anymore? Every time i try to watch a video online using a divx site or site that uses a divx player, i get the message
"divx plus web player pluging has cashed, send crash report"
I send it - then am offered the option to reload the page once reloaded a press play the player then says connecting and then crashes again!!!

None of the divx plugins are recognised anymore and the divx web player add on is marked as incompatible, and there is not an option to enable it! When i click on the '''bold text'''more '''bold text'''option all that apears is the link to website where you download the exact same up to date version that you already have.
im using windows vista home basic 32-bit operating system, & the new version of firefox.
Its really annoying that these extensions and plugins no longer work crash and/or are no longer recognised espcially considering firefox insisted we upgrade for security issue etc and that 3.6 wont be kept up to date any more, I want reinstall the 3.6 version but am worried about security issues now.

I am having the same problems as well. Every time I turned around there was a new version of Firefox 8.0. Prior to the constant updating of Firefox I was able to watch movies from Stagevu and Veehd and now because of the new Firefox I cannot watch any movies. I also tried the VLC plugin and that constantly crashes as well as the DivX Web Player. I read so many complaints and no one from Firefox or any of the other browser is giving any of their constituents or customers whatever you want to call us any solutions to the problem and I am beginning to get a little frustrated. I have tried all of the other browsers like the Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and I still come up with the same problem.

Kuler no longer working in InDesign CS4

I've been googling this a lot but haven't found a (working) solution yet. I did find a link to what could be a solution, but the link is not working anymore.
I'm an IT guy in an office where we have a small team of four people using Adobe Creative Suite 4. Recently they contacted me asking for help because Kuler was no longer working for them (it stopped working for all four).
I installed InDesign CS4 on my own machine only to see that it does not work for me either. The error message is "No internet connection detected. Your computer must be online in order to search or access kuler themes".
When I go to Windows -> Extensions -> Connections I'm able to login, but not able to search for updates, I just get "The update server is unavailable".
When running the Kuler Air app I just get "kuler klash, please try again later".
Because we're a big company we do of course have antivirus and firewalls. To make sure that the problem isn't because of this I installed InDesign on a machine (server) on a completely different network with less strict firewall and no antivirus on the machine, but It's just the same error message as before.
Our machines are running Windows 7 Enterprise (the extra test was done on a Windows 2012 Server).
Is Kuler just not working for CS4 anymore?

The Kuler team recently rebuilt the backend of the Kuler service for security, maintenance, and peformance reasons. (the old back-end was showing signs of failure).
Anyway, it seems the new backend is not working with old Kuler APIs (CS3, CS4, and the air app and mac widget). Adobe typically provides support for up to two versions back. At the moment, that's CS5 or newer. So, I'm afraid it's not likely that you can expect a fix for CS4.
At this point, your team can use the web application to browse, create, and search themes. They can also download themes as ASE files (on the website) to import into InDesign CS4.
