Website not found in Google

Hey,
I just build a new website and it doesn't show up in the Google results. I was wondering if anybody could help me out.
The website is www.schoorlsebokkentocht.nl , and when I search "Schoorlse Bokkentocht" it doesn't show.
In the Megadata all the keywords are updated. The domain is like 10 days old now, so it should work, shouldn't it?
I'm not really familiar with all of this yet, so if anybody could help me out, that would be great.

Site appearing on google's search result depends on site getting indexed on google. It totally depends on how long it takes google's spiders to crawl your site. This is an edit of my own posted question.
I published my first website, to dot-Mac and it was easily accessed by various computers by typing the URL,etc. However, a google search for "MemberName"did not turn up the website, making it kinda useless to me.
Obviously publishing something made with iWeb to ".Mac" puts it on the internet, but does not make it visible to even the Google search engine. So what else does one need to do to get an iWeb-created site noticed?
[I have since then removed the site from the Web---waiting to try again after I might learn something from discussion sharers. Thanks

I am trying to help a teacher with her free 60 day trial .mac account and iWeb site. She was able to publish on her first attempt, no problems, looked great. She had a Welcome page and a podcast page for each of her 6 classes.
She had to update some of the podcasts she had already published, but when she went to Publish again, she got the Unknown Error message. After reading some posts, she decided to delete the Site podcast pages she had changed and begin them anew. When she went to publish, it all seemed to be going well, then .mac said she was out of space. Knowing she has limited space, she went about eliminating some of the entries on the podcast pages and attempted to publish again.
Now, when we go to look at her site, we get the "website not found" error. When I logged into her account looked at her iDisk storage in her .mac account I see she has data in her Web/Sites folders for her Welcome page and 3 of 6 of her podcast pages. The iDisk says she has used 34% of the disk and has 16MB still free...
Anyone know why her web address would suddenly give the "not found" message and how we can get it back for her? She is thinking of buying a year's subscription for her class...but wanted to test drive it first...

We had the correct address. It was a problem with her iDisk. Files that should have been dumped when she published her updated iWeb site were still residing on the iDisk and this was causing all her problems. When we physically moved the files to her desktop and trashed them ourselves, the updated site published again just fine.
Alls well that ends well.

Website not found when accessed from iPad

I am hosting multiple websites from a single IP address and have come across the following problem. If I access it from my mac, the correct website is displayed, but if I use my iPad the web site is not found and my default website displays instead.
Checking the access log I can see a clear difference between what is passed from a mac and an ipad but don't know how to fix it, any suggestions greatly appreciated.
The Mac sends this

Me too. 34000+ items.
Gotta wonder if that's a factor.
Just now I removed all remotes from iTunes.
(Prefs > Devices > Forget All Remotes)
Then I turned on Home Sharing on my iPhone.
(Tap the gear icon in the Library selection screen.)
Previously the iPhone was registered as a regular remote.
So both devices are controlling iTunes via home sharing.
Now iTunes is not crashing at all, in full-screen mode or otherwise.
Not sure if it will last, but time will tell.

Speed & Websites not found

Over the last few days I have been experiencing a strange issue and I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.
A number of websites I vist regularly have either been very slow or not found. This includes things like BBC, eBay etc. Even this site takes 2-3 mins to load each page. Other sites seem fine Facebook, Youtube etc which seem to run normal speed.
This is effecting all devices on my BT3 Hub, Mac, PC, Laptop & Wireless devices other than the iPad which seems fine (even on sites the other fail to load).
Speedtest show normal service so I am baffled as to what can be wrong, it as if my hub has forgotten how to talk to certain sites. I have reset the hub back to defaults settings a number of times, rebooted all computers all to no avail.
On the basis that all computers are showing the same symptoms I suspect the issue is from the hub out but neither myself of BT telephone support seem to be able to indentify what may be wrong.
Any assistance or guidance as where to look much appreciated

We too are still having the same issues and we are in Silverstone near Towcester - see images of problems below
Firstly the hub ADSL settings
Some pages load perfectly normally e.g. BBC website although it does seem to take a minute or to to load all the content especially on FB)
Website that partially loads, this page takes approx 2 mins to display (this is similar delay with all partial load websites)
and websites that don't load at all

Site not found in Google search

Perhaps a basic issue but one that's giving me a headache.
What is the best and cheapest method of getting a site found during
a google search. ?

whole Flash site
embedded into a single html page. Google asks you to create a
robot.txt
file in order for your Flash site to be listed by them, but
I've never found
any comprehensible specs on how to make that file. Anyone got
these?
The only thing I know of that works is to recreate your whole
site in html
as well as the Flash site. This, of course is an unsatisfying

My .mac Website not found in searches

I've just created my new .mac website using iWeb, and successfully published it.
But when I do a Google or Netscape search using my name as a search term, this newly published webpage does not show up in the search results.
What do I need to do to get greater internet recognition for my .mac website?

It really just takes time. I'd say give it a couple, maybe three, weeks for Google's spiders to find your site. After you get in their indexes, it seems that Google revisits on about a weekly basis.
It has been said that the more links that other sites have to your site, the more relevance your site will hold, but I take this with a grain of salt. Also, some people say that adding meta tags to your html files will help search engines rank your site with relevance, but I just don't see that happening. Google actually doesn't reveal their procedures, but I have seen an article where someone at Google is quoted as saying that arbitrary keyword placement and meta-tags are de-emphasized...and even discouraged.
Just give it some time.

Error 404, website not found. Uninstalled, installed, firewall fixed to allow programs. Will not open in safe mode.

Google chrome works fine, but Firefox gets an error code 404. Windows Firewall is configured to allow the program, I have uninstalled/reinstalled, and it won't open, not even in safe mode. Still a 404 code. The same thing is happening to Safari. I can't fix settings in Firefox if it doesn't open. Any other suggestions?

Website not found/recognised

Hi guys,
One of my clients has an older version of Contribute
(Macromedia, v3) and would like to add to the news page on her site
using contribute. Problem is, when going through the connection
wizard, when we enter the URL of the site, including
http:// an error message is displayed saying
that the website can't be found (but it definitely exists!!!).
I'd be really grateful if anyone could tell me why this might
be happening and what to do to overcome the problem. The website
has been constructed and is modified in Dreamweaver MX 2004.

Have you tried creating a Connection Key for her.
You build the connection-key for your client, then sent the
key to her by mail and a simple dubble-click would do the trick of
creating the connection.
In the menu go to: Edit, Adminsiter Websites;
Go to: Users and Roles;
Go to: Send Connection Key;
Include the ftp password, save the key to your computer,
attach to an email and sent to your client.

Alright so i just bought this machine off of craigslist for a mere 25 dollars. just got it to mess around and stuff. i can not find the specs, drivers or even a picture of the computer off the internet. all i know is the company that made these computers went out of buisness a few years back.
what i know about the computer.
its got an intel pentium4 processor 2.40 GHz
its got pc2700 ddr 333 ram.
the mother board is an intel desktopboards.

Links to Itunes blitz out a split second after connecting from firefox. I actually Get to Itunes and then POOF! Website not found. I was hoping this would be fixed with 4.0.

Here is what happens: I get an add from Big Fish Games for a game that is from the Itunes store. It has a link and I click it. The link takes me directly to Itunes for about 2 seconds and then blanks out giving me:

What's up with this? This does not happen in the Chrome browser. The link works perfectly.

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

I have the exact same issue and have to restart the routers and modem daily to make sure all sites work.
It's very annoying and has only started happening since getting Infinity broadband a month ago.
I never had any problems with normal ADSL but this fibre optic is awful. My speeds are slowing down too. I started off with 76mbps and now it's under 60mbps... it's still faster than my ADSL connection but getting nearly 80mbps to start with and now under 60 and coupled with the timing out issues it's a bit annoying.
Has anyone changed their DNS servers to see if this solves the issues?

@bmjoshua I will suggest to you to please stop restarting the Openreach Modem as it is that that has caused your speed drop as the RDSLAM has seen your line as unstable and reduced your speed to stabilise your line you now need at least 2 weeks with no modem restarts for your speed to start and increase again
