Website not trusted... (All of them???? Come on!)

Recently, I started getting a security warning (website not trusted- could not verify the identity) for all secured websites I use to visit (with no issue).
I have to make a security exception for all of them (sometimes, I am not even allowed to make the exception...). It seems to be connected to sites using a VeriSign certificate.
What can I do? I am on Mac OS 10.5.8

you said both emails are set up via Outlook? can you check both lunar and roadrunner account from their respective web mail sites? if you do, you see all messages present on webmail for both accounts. i am suspecting this as a resolution: make sure copy of message is being left on mail server and you can configure this as per following KB article:

MarkerText - position and visible for one serie (not for all of them)

Hello,
can I position the MarkerText in a graph in this way that is centered horizontally inside the serie?
I know I can use the element markerTextPlace to place the MarkerText in relation to the marker, but that is not waht I want. With this solution I get the MarkerText only on the bar or around the bar, but what I want is that the MarkerText will be shown on the center of the area (of the serie - horizontally) .
I also want to make the MarketText visible only for specific series (one serie) but not for all series. Waht I can do is show the Markertext or not but it affects all the MarkerText of all the Series.
Any help?

I spent so much time contacting Google and no success. They said they do not support Mozilla only Internet Explorer. Where did you get that link? Can I get there myself through settings?

Deleting duplicated 'Notes' deleted all of them...

In Notes, all my notes were listed twice. When I deleted one of the duplicates to clean up the list, it deleted both. How do I get them back? I don't see them in 'trash'.

Back up all data.
Check the Mail, Contacts & Calendar preference pane to make sure you're synchronizing Notes in more than one account.
If you're not, disable Notes synchronization temporarily.
Quit Notes, if it's running.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes
Copy the whole line of text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop.
The folder you're moving is named "com.apple.Notes" It is not the subfolder named "Data" or anything else.
Re-enable Notes synchronization.
Relaunch Notes and test. If it works now, delete the folder you moved. Otherwise, quit again, and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place.
Caution: If you delete some or all of the contents of the selected folder, but leave the folder itself in place, the application may not launch. Deleting the folder will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.

Why are some of my websites not loading all the way after loading 7.0.1?

I upgraded to 7.0.1... CNN, eBay, webemail, banjohangout.org (modal windows script needs files from widget) and some other websites do not open properly . I am running XP 32. I upgraded Radeon x1600 video drivers upgraded to v. 8.593 (10.2). Troubleshoot in Firefox 7.0.1 says WebGL & GPU blocked...customer needs to upgrade to v. 10.6 or higher. ATI (manufacturer) does not have V.10.6. What now?

When saving to bookmark folders, dropdown menu does not display all of them, just a few.

When attempting to save a bookmark, using "Bookmark this page" and then selecting Bookmark Menu to display a list of saved folders, the list of saved folders that appears is a short partial list. This list does not permit scrolling to view the remaining unlisted folders. All these folders are viewable/accessable when "Show all bookmarks".

Dragging files to TextEdit icon does not open all of them

Hi all,
Many times I have to work with .doc files that contain smalls amount of text to be copied and pasted. So I don't open Pages or Word, TextEdit handles this documents quite well, unless I want to open a few of them dragging their icons over the TextEdit icon in my Dock. Some will open, some will not, so finally I have to drag those that didn't open to TextEdit afterward.
Then, the files open and I continue to work with them with no problems.
This looks like a bug, is it known? How can it be reported to Apple?

The problems that you have encountered are most often caused by the CODEC that the files were encoded with. Both AVI and MOV are wrappers, and can contain a lot of different CODECs.
For the MOV, I'd look into QT-Pro for about US$39. It's just a registration key, but unlocks some decent power in QT. If the MOV plays fine in QT (Audio & Video), just do a Save_As and choose "Self-contained" MOV. Locate this in a separate folder. Then, Import these MOV files into Encore.
Personally, I'd use Premiere Pro as an intermediate step, but if you do not do any editing, Encore *should* then be able to handle everything. From PP, I'd Export as elemental streams, DV-AVI for the Video only and AC3 for the Audio only. These would get Imported into Encore.

I cannot access the music via my iTunes account and it will not download all of them. If it matters, I have not gotten the new update yet.

I go to school and I would like to be able to listen to my music on my laptop versus using my iPhone or iPad. Only some of my music had been downloaded and I cannot download the rest. I have authorized my computer through my account several times but I still cannot get all of my music on it. I have the 128GB but storage is not an issue as I use a flash drive (16GB) and I have access to external hard drive (1.5TB). How can I get all of my music to actually download to my MacBook?

In order to list to your music purchased on iTunes on your computer, you will need to first download those songs. To download your previous purchases from the iTunes Store, please follow the directions in the link below.
Download previous purchases on Mac or PC
Make sure your Mac or PC meets these system requirements:
iTunes 10.3 or later
You need iTunes 10.6 or later to download previously purchased movies and TV shows.
iTunes account in a country where iTunes in the Cloud is available
iTunes Store
Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store.
Click Purchased in the Quick Links section.
Select the content type that you want to download (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
Select Not in My Library to view purchased content that isn't on your computer.
Find the item that you want to download. You can browse using the menu to the left. If you have more than 2,000 songs, you'll see Recent Purchases instead of All Songs or Albums.
Click the Download icon next to the item you want to download.
If an item is already in your library, the Download icon won't appear.

Archive of most recent backup (not of all of them!)

I have a one-terabyte Time Capsule, to which I backup four Macs using Time Machine. I want an offsite backup of the current drives, for which I have an empty 512 GB USB drive to plug into the Time Capsule. I only require the current state of the four Macs, not all versions of the files going back in time. If the backups on the Time Capsule are larger than 500 GB or so, then I guess Airport Utility's Archive won't work for this purpose?

Obviously you can't make an archive of backups larger than 500GB if your drive is only 500GB....
The only way I know how to have just 'the current state of the four Macs' is to go into Time machine and delete everything before a certain date, although I personally have not done that on my TC. The simplest way, IMO (and yet most time consuming, ironically) would be to simply view your Time capsule from Finder, and delete all of your backup.sparsebundle(s)... Then run time machine again on each mac, thereby having only the current state as backups on there, allowing you to archive to an airdisk via USB..
I can vouch that deleting the sparsebundles will not cause any problems (I've done it several times w/ no issues, at least). Good luck and let us know if you find an easier way!

If you've just moved the drive between systems then see Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows just in case that reveals the missing files. Apply to a single album folder first as a test. Otherwise, if you've not done too much with the drive since things went missing, an undelete tool might recover the lost media. FreeRecover looks promising... Select the drive, use the options to get file paths and check file integrity, then, presumably, you can restore anything that has been deleted that looks recoverable. Backup to another drive when you're done.

Mac App Store keeps crashing on multiple machines, but not on all of them

I have an I mac running 10.6.8. Whenever I open the app store it logs inot my account successfully, but when I choose an app I have already pruchased, or a new app to purchase, I get a whirling disk after about 5 seconds, and cannot proceed further. I tried the same procedure on my mac book pro that already has lion and that works fine. Then I tried it on my other mac book pro that has lion and I get the same problem.
I called Apple support and they asked me to download 10.6.8 again which I did. Their thought was the app store file was corrupted. I have the same exact thing occuring. I can purchase ipad apps and music from itunes without any problems. My ipads and iphones work just fine for purchasing so I know it is not an account issue.
What is happeining??? Any Ideas???

If you didn't use the combo update, try that > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
That will reinstall the App Store app for you.
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed.
Then I tried it on my other mac book pro that has lion and I get the same problem.
Do you have anti virus software installed? Tried turning off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (in 10.6) Security & Privacy (in 10.7) ??

Cisco PCA contacts not importing all of them

Trying to get contacts imported into Cisco PCA (Cisco Unity Personal Communications Assistant) so we have certain users call by voice command...
I am able to get most of the contacts in, but only about 50% will import from Exchange. I cannot figure out why others are not importing. I cannot find anything obvious different between the contacts.

So after much back and forth with TAC and getting the right people involved, there's a hard limit of 150 on Cisco's side. We are putting in a PER with our partner, but I'm guessing this is a "don't hold your breath" situation Its too bad this isn't documented anywhere and wasted a lot of my time and their time.
