Website says i don't have the most updated version
The site tells me I need to update to the current version of Firefox. I already have the most up to date version.

I've done the software update. It restarted and even said it was reinstalling Java but when I tried to load it on the browser again, I got the "Please Update Java" message. I went to the Apple website to manually download Java for OS X Lion 2012-002 but it says that a newer version is already installed on my Mac.
Any help would be appreciated. I dont even know how to uninstall Java and reinstall the 2012-002 version.How do I test whether Java is working on my computer?

Please tell me a bit more--what happens when you try to open your files in Reader? Are you getting an error message? Do they open, but don't display correctly?

I recently updated my Firefox to version 6.0. When it re-opened after installation there was a message that I didn't have the most recent version. I ran the update set-up again but got the same message. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it from a fresh download but it's still happening.

I have restarted my computer, and have re-download the updated version of the adobe acrobat and the plug in.
That doesn't help. Sorry but I am talking about the the Adobe READER PLUG-IN . The MOST updated version is : 10.0.1. There is no 10.0.3 . There is a version of adobe acrobat that is 10.0.3 but it is for Adobe acrobat PRO only- which I do not have.
The most updated version of the acrobat reader plug is in : 10.0.1 unless there is another place to download a more updated version than that- which I cant find.
Or there is a problem wiht the plug in checker by Mozilla Firefox. -

My current version of my computer is Mac OS X 10.5.8. can i upgrade my mac to other software versions to then get the new itunes? I know my computer may seem old, but as my husband and I both have full time jobs (in front of computers) we really don't use our home computer much. It still runs great and i do not want to buy a new $2,000 computer when i have a perfectly working one right now. Please help me find a solution to this. Thanks!

The first step in Upgrading... is to Snow Leopard = OS X 10.6.x
It is Not available as a download... It is a Paid Upgrade.

I'm having trouble visiting sites or pages that require Flash Player, Firefox will just freeze when they're partially loaded and it will stay frozen until I close Firefox. This will happen with any page that uses flash player. I can disable it, but then I can't access the content which requires Flash Player, have to use a different browser and I'd rather just use Firefox.

I have an iPod touch. When I try to download an app, it says I need to update the device's software to access the iTunes store. But, when i connect to iTunes, it says I have the most current version. I'm stuck. My mother got this iPod as free-with-purchase when she bought her desktop. She used it, then gave it to me. With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.
