Website will not load properly

A couple websites I built are not loading properly. I was told I need to clear my cache. Can someone tell me how to do that?  Thx! :-)

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)
Try to clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • One website will not load on any browser, will work on mobile phone

One website will not load on any browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome). Have turned off all security programs and firewalls, have tried in Safe Mode, will not load. It works on my smartphone. Can load the basic site, but not the sign-in page. Says Connected at the bottom of the page, but says Connecting at the top, and the little circle goes around counter clockwise; ran for one hour, still didn't load. It used to load, don't know if I did something or downloaded some program to make it stop.

You can try to access the website in a New Private Window.

  • I purchased a Maxim magazine subscription through "Newstand" on Ipad3. The magazine will not load properly at all. It has no magnification either. I have other magazines on my Ipad, and have no issues using these. What should I do?

I have purchased a Maxim magazine through "Newstand" on my Ipad3. Them magazine will not load properly, and has no magnification as well. I have other magazine also, and have no problems with them. What should I do, and how do I cancel my subscription of Maxim?

I would contact Maxim's Customer Service or Technical Web Support, if the problem is only with their subscription.
    Hope this helps

  • Some websites will not load in FF. Same websites will load in IE.

Certain websites will not load in FF, but will load in IE. FF starts to try to load the page, but then stops and "Done" appears in the lower left corner of the screen, which displays as a white, blank page.

    Hello Anonymous.
Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at [http://www.getfirefox.com getfirefox.com].
As for your problem, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

  • A specific set of websites will not load.

Operating a Time Capsule behind a cable modem, I now find a very specific set of websites (those that I manage) will not load.  We had a power outage yesterday which did something to my home network I think.
I have rebooted modem and Time Capsule a number of times.  I have tried access from 2 mac mini's, one iPad and one iPhone.
IF I direct connect a mac mini to the modem with a cable, I can access the sites.  If I leave the house and work on another wireless network, I can access the sites.  I checked the sites from that network -- they are NOT blocking any IP's.
If I try to access the sites through the Time Capsule, I cannot.
I think I just (inadvertently) did a full reset of the Time Capsule -- I had to re-define my network.  (Although it seemed to remember some things ...  )
SO, I have concluded there is something with the Time Capsule and likely DNS that is preventing my access.  I tried simply changing DNS to public DNS servers (like Google) but that did nothing.
Best thoughts on how to overcome this?

Your best bet may be to purposely reset your TC to factory defaults and then set it up again.
One thing to try from within your home LAN to see if DNS or connectivity is a problem is to simply open a terminal and "ping" the IP address of your webserver.  If you can ping the webserver by IP then you are able to reach it on the Internet.  Then try to ping the webserver by fully qualified server and domain name (i.e. www.example.com).  If ping resolves the name to the IP of your web server then you are fine with DNS as well.  If either of those basic tests fail to resolve the server and receive a reply, then you indeed have some other issue with your TC or internal network.

  • ITunes Store will not load properly

When I try to access iTunes store from iTunes, it loads a weird basic html version and it will not load any pages but the start page. All my other applications are working fine and my internet seems to be working properly too. I am using Windows XP. What should I do?

  • Apple websites will not load

    Hello!
Is anyone else having trouble loading Apple websites on their MBP since the launch of Mountain Lion? I don't understand, my MBP will not load Apple Store websites or the Apple Community Website, however my iPhone works seemlessly.
    Please help!
Also moone has seemed to be able to suggest why the 'tabs' section at the top of Safari is not loading open tabs on my iPhone.
I must be having some really bad luck with ML.

They are Google's public DNS server addresses (the ones I posted were from the "Open DNS" project).  They handle domain names (like apple.com), which always has an IP number associated:
so if you go to http://17.149.160.49 you'll arrive at http://www.apple.com and vice versa.
Usually your ISP has their own and sends the addresses to your router (or you can fill them in yourself, or use Open DNS or Google' DNS instead), which in your case didn't seem to work too well.  The Wikipedia article on Google should give you a rough idea.

  • Only one website will not load.

There is one specific website that will not load for me. It will not load on IE, Chrome or Firefox. But it works on any browser on my phone or on my families laptops.
The website loads a blank white screen and when I view the source code there is nothing except the line number 1 and a blank line.
To access this page I click on a link, I have tried opening in the same tab, new tab, new window, new private window but to no avail. I have given the website every possible permission I can, allowed everything to run on the page. There are no add ons, no cookies, no temporary history and hardware acceleration has been disabled. But nothing solves the issue that I have. After reading questions looking for help none of the generic answers provides any help then what I have already done.

If it won't open on your PC then it's not a Firefox issue and we really can't help you with your issue.

2 days ago a favorite web site that I visit daily will not load now???? I do not get any error page. It just keeps trying and trying but will not load. I have tried several things, checking pop up blocker, cleared cache, cookies, temp. internet files, etc. Any ideas????
Check the route with the use of the tracert command at the command line. tracert server or site name. This will show you where the connection stops. It could be lost on someones router, or the site could be down. Just an idea to get you in the right direction.

  • One website will not load suddenly

All of a sudden one website that i frequently visit will not load on my Apple Extreme network with any of my computers and devices. I can load the website if i'm at work or off the home network. Why is this happening? If i connect to the cable providers modem, i can access the site. As soon as i plug back into the Airport Extreme, i cannot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

These are really hard to figure out.
What firmware is on the AE? Did it recently upgrade?
I suggest you downgrade firmware.. 7.6.1 is usually more reliable.
If it is an old AE then even 7.5.2 might be worth a try.
Also just do a factory reset on the AE and see if you get any improvement after redoing the setup.

  • One website will not load.

Very frustrated!  Key.com will not load in safari or firefox.  I've reset safari, re-booted mac and modem.  It's just hat one website.  Did I do something to block it out???
    Thanks,
    Kim

I have run into this issue as well. But, with different sites. Specific sites will not load.
The sites I run into issue with are Apple.com and Google.com and recently Bing.com.
Here is what I have run into on my macbook air since the latest update. I leave my air on 24/7 just close it open it up and go. When you close your air or it goes to sleep it shuts off wifi and has to reconnect upon waking. The issue happens when I reconnect to the wifi.
Upon reconnection apple.com and google.com will not load, other sites load without issue. And randomly google switched with bing.com one time where google would load but bing would not. I had to use bing because google would not load.
When I reboot the websites load without issues until the system sleeps and wakes again same problem.
I tested in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome same problem, I cleared cookies same problem, I reinstalled browsers same problem.
I tested the sites on my windows system sites work without issue through the same router. Tested my windows system wireless and wired sites work. Tested on my android phone sites work over wifi. Used Chrome, FF on windows and opera on Android sites work on all of these. While simulataneously the sites do not load at all on the air.
To make matters more confusing I go to work or a friends test the air on their wifi and the sites work.
For some reason with my router, wifi, google.com, apple.com, on wake only, and my air OSX latest version with latest update these sites do not load no matter the browser.
I checked for malware and viruses as this would have been a likely culprit found nothing.
Anyone have any ideas, any diagnostic tools you think I should try run.
I checked my router I have nothing is set up that I can see that would be blocking just these sites and just on my air. I am still researching diagnosing but, this one is odd and seems somewhat similar to this issue.

  • Websites will not load in Firefox for Android Lollipop unless Request Desktop Site is selected.

Starting on March 20th, both my Nexus 4 and my Nvidia Shield tablet will not load past around 15% for any website unless I select Request Desktop Site. This only seems to be a problem when the devices are connected through wireless data. Wi-Fi is unaffected by this issue.
I've force stopped Firefox, I've cleared data and cache, and I've removed / re-installed Firefox. i've also rebooted the devices a few times. Google Chrome is also working fine.

Build 36.0.3 Just arrived on my device and seems to have corrected the problem.
UPDATE: This only lasted for the rest of the night. By the next day, the issue had returned.
