Website will not open correctly

I haev a website that that I use with no issues on my Desktop computer, but when I open webite on the ipad some things don't work, and the owner of the site says it's Safari. Anybody have a solution?

Different browsers sometimes display sites differently, especially if the website creator hasn't bothered to test the site in different browsers when developing it.
Sounds like the website owner hasn't bothered to test his site in the most popular mobile browser on the planet. Possibly he just tested it in one browser and nothing else.
The only person that can fix this website to work in different browsers is the website owner/creator.
Safari is one of the most standards compliant browsers available - so if it doesn't work in Safari properly, the website creator probably doesn't know what he is doing.

Does that mean, you are running iPhoto 9.6 on MacOS X 10.10.1 Yosemite? Or are you using an older MacOS X? "New" iPhoto is relative and depends on your system.

Where is your iPhoto Library (Mediathek) stored? Have you moved it to an external drive, or is it still in your Pictures folder (the order "Bilder")?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:

- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.

PDF files on FTP will not open correctly

Our PDF files open fine from local hard disks, and http locations. However, We are having trouble opening PDF files from a FTP server. After double-clicking on the file, the Adobe 'grey' background loads, and nothing else. At first time it opened fine in all computers, but afterwards it will not open. If we download the files from the server, the same file opens fine. We have tried in different OS like XP, Windows 7, windows 8 with different browsers. same problems occurred.
In all cases, the installed adobe reader was Adobe Reader 9 and above(9, 10&11). After we got one solution that to disable "Protected mode" in reader settings. If we disable protected mode, it is fine.
But the issue is, we have to provide those PDf files to our customers through our website. So we cannot disable it in customer's pc. Any alternate solution for this problem?
Why this problem occurs? How we can overcome from this error?

I cannot reproduce this problem with Reader 11.0.2 in Firefox 20.0.1 or IE8 on Windows XP (Protected Mode enabled).

I have no problems access it mutliple times.

Google, Yahoo, and very random websites will not open

Google.com will not open, yahoo will not open and anything google- or yahoo-related will not open (including their search engines, which is killing me) as well as very random websites. Other websites open immediately. This is happening exactly the same on both Firefox and Safari.
Mac OS 10.6.8. The other iMac in the house (OS 10.7.5) is working fine as well as our Macbook, iPad, and three iPhones. I believe the problem started after we changed Verizon modems and wi-fi networks, but I cannot be sure, and I don't understand why the other devices/machines would not also be effected. There is no spyware that I know of installed on this problem machine. When I do a repair verification on the Utility Disk I get a lot of messages that read in different variations of the following: Warning:SUID file"System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contens/MacOs/Ar dAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

All my pdf documents have turned into firefox html documents and will not open correctly

All my pdf documents have suddenly become firefox html docs & will not open unless I go into the folder, right click, 'open with', etc. I haven't changed any of my settings. I think firefox did an update yesterday, however, so I'm connecting it with that, possibly...

# Go to the General tab
# In the '''Opens with''' section, click the ''Change'' button
# Select Adobe Reader (or Foxit Reader/Whatever PDF viewer you use)

Websites will not open. Domain computers. Not Firewall, Not Cookies. Seems to be just domain computers cannot open 90% of websites.

I have a few domain computers that cannot open any webpages, 90% will not open. MSN CBS ABC NBC none of these pages will open. nothing loads on the page, it says connecting to.. If I click work offline, the page will load minus and video or pictures. just a format and wording appears.
I have cleaned cookies, reset to default, safe mode, rebooted, checked the firewall, checked the domain controller, re-installed, turned off IP V6, I followed every troubleshooting guide i can find. i check the network settings, check proxy, checked DNS, If i click help and try to get an update from Firefox, it just sits there at like 2.5 KB and says downloading forever.
The pages will set there and spin for hours. no error, no timeout.. just says connecting to ....(which ever page).

Desktop screen on my Satellite C660-174 will not open correctly

I'm a newbie here so my question may be obvious to some,,,,but not to me!
My Satellite C660-174 laptop (running Windows 7) has stopped opening correctly. Everything is normal up to the point that my password is typed in. Instead of opening up to my 'desktop' with its icons all down the side I get a page with a 'Toshiba Leading Innovation' banner across it and just four random icons down the side.
How can I restore my desktop screen and all the icons?
Help will be appreciated.

I really don't understand what could be the problem but what you can try is to start your machine with F8 and enter advanced boot options. Choose the entry "Repair your Computer" and press "Enter". Go forward until you will enter System recovery options. Try to make system restore to earlier time. Maybe this will help you to fix described issue.

Certain links/pages in a website will not open.

My wife has an iPad 2 running iOS 6.1 and I use the original iPad running 5.1.1 - both work perfectly on the same wifi network. Since this morning however on the iPad 2 my wife can open www.guardian.co.uk but then the links to some pages do not open (but will open in a separate tab) - other websites work normally. Yet sitting on the other sofa I have no problems with same website on my original iPad and have no problems opening any link. The only difference I can see are the different versions of iOS. Any ideas?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I don't believe firefox is the issue but for some reason pictures and certain websites will not load correctly. Why?

This just started happening a few days ago. When I go to facebook the pictures are distorted and nearly impossible to discern who is in them. I also go to many different websites that do not load correctly. Not sure if it's java, adobe, or something else but it makes browsing the internet not fun. HELP!

I have the same problem. It seems to be due to FireFox 4.0 being unable to load certain embedded content, which Firefox 3 was able to load properly.
I've been having problems loading any website that includes embedded content from worldnow.com, for example.

All of a sudden my Firefox brower will not open correctly. It keeps telling me that it is trying to restore the previous session, but it doesnt' matter if I press the Restore button or the Close button to try again, it will not work. How can I fix this?

After I hit the Close button and try to reopen it tells me that Firefox is currently already running and to either close it or restart my computer. Which I did, and it didn't do anything. It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Apple website will not open on new laptop

Hello, i have just bought a new laptop, and it is working fine, but it is not opening the apple website properly, the page is not downloaded properly and appears partially with broken links. I have checked my internet connection on another computer and it opens it up fine. What could be causing this and how do i resolve it?

Fillable Form posted to website will not open web links in new window-wipes out data

Using Adobe Pro X, have a link to open a web link, but this is posted to our website and when a user clicks on the link, it does not open in a new window, so when they go back to the form, all the typed data is gone. I do not see an option for the link to open in a new window. Help!

I tested it with Firefox, which does not support filling in of forms and makes you open it with adobe reader, which it fine once you get to that point since you are no longer on the web. I have Adobe Reader XI. I am not aware of any clipboard policy.
I have actually found a fix that requires a java script that solves the issue.
Under link properties/Actions/Run a JavaScript-input the below.

To truly fix this issue, I believe there needs to be an option of "in a new window" when you choose "Open a Web Link".
There are hundreds of individuals using this form and there is no way to know which browser they are using or which version of reader they have.

Every website that I try to access live web cam shows, while
using IE 6,
that uses the flash player, either will time out, or load
quickly and then time out, or I get performer has left, when they
really haven't.
Other errors I get are 'unauthorized domain',
I have tried right clicking and giving access to that site.
Nothing works.
Now, here's the kicker. ALL of these same sites and cams work
in firefox.
Is it possible there is a setting in IE that is not correct?
I just reinstalled my XPSP2 so all of my settings in IE 6
medium,
with ActiveX set to prompt.
