Website won't open on firefox but will with internet explorer

Firefox tells me that the Foxnews website page can't be found.
I can open it in with internet explorer.
Is this a political thing because it just started a few days ago and doesn't affect any other site?

Can't post pics on forum with firefox but can with Internet explorer

I can't post pictures/images on a certain forum when using firefox but when using Internet explorer on the same forum it works. Any solutions please?

Hi Meghraj, Thank you for your reply! I am afraid a screenshot will not reveal much. When I click on "add file" on the forum to post a pic it opens my files and once I select my file that I want to post and click on "open" it goes back to the forum page but the file is not there. When I do this same action with Internet explorer it works. But I don't really use internet explorer and would like to use firefox rather. A few members on the forum using firefox have the exact same problem. Any ideas? Thank you! :)

Can't navigate the Ryanair website with Firefox but can with Internet Explore

My IP is Sky.com. Their website is not displaying correctly because the search box does not move to the left and anything typed into it redicts back to the home page. Also the ryanair website displays but does not allow one to navigate the whole website. None of these errors occur when using Internet Explorer. This problem only occured today.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Adobe flash crashes in Firefox but not with Internet Explorer

I don't wish to go back to an earlier version of Adobe flash as the earlier version caused other problems.i.e. with RealPlayer. Why is it that the latest Adobe flash works perfectly with Internet Explorer but will not work with Firefox.
Is there any way I can get it to work with Firefox, rather than when the problem occurs having to download IE and start again?

Photo gallery popups will not open in firefox, but does in internet explorer

In the last few days popups within a website will not open. IE photo gallerys, logins for internet banking.
It seems to be a problem only in firefox as they will open with internet explorer

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Chase account activity page won't load the "I'd Like To" links when using Mozilla Firefox but will with Internet Exployer

Chase Banking is always doing upgrades to their website. In their latest update the useable links on the account activity page simply don't appear under the "I'd like to" heading. Even the "I'd like to" heading is not appearing. That side of the page is empty, but if you use Internet Explorer all the links at there. Does anyone else have this problem using Chase Banking?
Found the issue to this problem, I had a software program running called Ad Blocker. When I disabled this program the links became visible. I will use the other suggestions posted to this message.

My firefox crashed when I was on Facebook and now facebook won't load up right while on Firefox but will on Internet Explorer, any ideas what would cause this?

Facebook loads but the page is all messed up and can't click on the stuff in the right place. It loads up fine on Internet Explorer.

Why suddenly have twitpic pictures stopped loading in Firefox. They load in internet Explorer but just stopped loading on the twitpic site in Firefox??

The pictures load OK for me, with twitpic on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see [https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Site+Identity+Button]) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Images+or+animations+do+not+show
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

I tried to download an e-filing client software from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) website [http://www.wipo.int/pct-safe/en/download/download_client.htm] using Firefox. Clicking the link to download yielded no activity. I eventually tried the same link in internet explorer and it worked. This occurred last week. I have a deadline to complete an international patent filing today; and in order to do so online, I had to request a Secure Digital ID from WIPO. It was approved and received early this morning (Central European Time Zone); and the accompanying guidelines suggested that I use the same computer and browser to retrieve the ID. This meant that since I use Firefox as my default browser my request was also made and had to be retrieved in Firefox. Following the WIPO support instructions I ran into exactly the same problem of inactivity when trying to "Backup" my newly installed ID certificate per WIPO instruction, so that it may be imported into the e-filing software. Just to follow up on my findings. My last issue regarding the digital certificate was not at the time of initial download into Firefox, but my application required that I backup the certificate into a folder which can then be accessed to sign a submission generated by a third-party Client software.
After finally steering away from the digital signing route by opting for a non digital filing of my project, I later revisited the Firefox certificates list only to find that the 'Backup' button still didn't work or respond in any way whatsoever; however since I only had a single certificate on my list... I threw my hand up in the air and tried the 'Backup All' button... guess what - that worked!! My browser then navigated to a file browser which allowed me to save the certificate to a folder of my choice. Of course this was after the fact as my deadline had already passed and and I had the Administrator who initially granted my secure ID revoke it once I was blocked from downloading it by Firefox.
Just an update/FYI for y'all... But I'm not sure if this type of anomoly is due to a glitch on my computer or a glitch on the browser - but it certainly did catch me off-guard during a deadline.
