Website Won't Scroll in Google Chrome When using Layers

Hi there, this is starting to really get frustrating.
I am building a site in Adobe Muse, and I so far have three layers: Header (contains header elements), Intro (Contains the first part of the page everyone sees when they load the browser), Our Details (Contains the second section of what will be the first of many when the site is done). In google chrome, clicking the "Find out why" link works fine and scrolls to the section, but using the mouse wheel or scroll bar at any point in the website doesn't work- it just makes everything flicker and sometimes returns you to the top of the page if you are already in the second section. This seems to be happening in some other peoples muse websites in chrome that I looked at too: it seems to be layers that are causing the issue when viewed in chrome. It seems to work flawlessly in Internet Explorer however....

My google chrome version is the newest (Version 29.0.1547.66 m) for Windows 8
This does not happen however on google chrome (or safari) for mac.

Hey- thanks but that isn't the issue. The problem occurs when trying to scroll using the scroll wheel on the mouse or using the scroll bar. Scrolling using the anchor tag links like "Learn Why" works fine. Again, this problem only seems to effect the google chrome browser- version 29.0.1547.76 m
This is also happening on pretty much every adobe muse site I visit-when usng this browser.

Compared to google chrome, when using firefox with fb, it is choppy and so slow to load new tabs and general info. Google is by far superior wish you could make ff the equal as I use both simultaneously

I use google chrome and firefox at the same time, logged on to different accounts in fb, google chrome functions smoothly, opening new windows or tabs or even just loading is quicker, firefox fills like it is working to hard, like pulling teeth, new tabs are slow to open, new windows are slower, just loading fb is slower, the whole experience is extremely choppy. Even when just using firefox alone, it is extremely choppy, not really sure how to explain it. It used to be the equivalent to goggle chrome and my browser of choice.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. Go into FF Preferences & set it to be your default browser. This way when you click on an email link in Chrome, FF will open.

Why does my website only not work in Google Chrome?

I've made a pretty simple webpage just to test out the drag and drop function. This website works completely when I open it in Firefox, Internet Explorer, using an iPad and another tablet.
However when I open it in chrome, it only displays the preloader endlessly.
I thought it might be my publishing settings but I feel like I've tried out most combinations of different boxes ticked...
Help would be gretaly appreciated!

Meaning, viewing as is - simply opening the .html file in Chrome, (locally) on my machine. Your dropbox does not include the Edge Project files for me to open and preview.

OWA 2013: Insecure Content javascript error in Google Chrome when attempting to launch Edit in Excel from Office Web Apps 2013

I'm unable to launch an excel file in the Client App from OWA using google chrome. I am able to open the excel file in the web application, but when clicking "Edit Workbook" and selecting "Edit Excel" the file never opens.
Opening developer mode shows a javascript error. This error comes back as:
[blocked] The page at 'https://owa.mysite.com/x/_layouts/xlviewerinternal.aspx?ui=en%2DUS&r…g%2Fsites%2Fmiketest%2Ftestlib%2FForms%2FAllItems%2Easpx&wdEnableRoaming=1' was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from 'ms-excel:ofv|u|https://intranet.mysite.org/sites/miketest/testlib/SitePageVerification.xlsx':
this content should also be loaded over HTTPS.
Both sites are using https, so I'm unsure what the error is about. Any ideas?

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you tried to edit excel in client application with Chrome.
Per my knowledge, when you open or edit documents(from SharePoint library) in client application, it requires Open Documents ActiveX controls. Open Documents ActiveX controls limitations on browsers which do not support ActiveX. Currently only 32-bit versions
of Internet Explorer support this functionality. So , for resolving your issue, I suggest you use IE 32-bit.

YouTube videos won't play on Google Chrome anymore!

I noticed that today Google Chrome won't play YouTube videos anymore, even in HTML5. If I try to watch a YouTube video, the buffer bar appears for a split second, but then it vanishes and the loading takes forever! I'm using Google Chrome 33 on Windows 8. Is there some way to fix this? Here's a video I was trying to watch.
Never mind. It seems that embedded YouTube videos work fine here, but not on the YouTube site!

I am having a similiar issue since the last update. But contradictory to what you said, i am able to see only videos on Youtube site and not the embedded ones.
Hope it gets fixed soon, for this is very annoying

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

My Iweb website does not work with Google Chrome

I have a website that works fine with Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox but shows as a blank page in Google Chrome, as this is my business website I need to get this issue fixed. The website is hosted through CableOne. Any suggestions?

If Chrome does't display your webpages, then contact Google about it.

Firefox can access the website but nothing displays yet google chrome works, what gives?

i can access the login page and supply my id and passwd and then it appears to be going well according to the info bar at the bottom but nothing ever displays. if i let it sit long enough for my session to expire the expiration warning box pops up. i click okay but nothing ever displays. firefox vers 3.6.10, google chrome vers 6.0.472.63 works without issue. i've deleted all my history and cookies and no change. any help or suggestions appreciated.

i had already did this but in the spirit of cooperation i went thru it again. funny thing is, firefox in safe mode won't even display the log in page yet regular firefox will. so safe mode isn't buying me anything. so for now i google chrome my netzero mail and firefox everything else. very frustrating. as a side note this issue is mirrored on my windows 7 enterprise laptop for work. i use the same "workaround" there too. additionally all other webmail accounts are fine(yahoo, hotmail, etc...). thanx for the reply though. any help is appreciated.

I need to look at a lot of websites in different languages. Google Chrome has a translate button and it's perfect - does Firefox have similar - I can't find it.

Because of my work I look through a lot of interenational - all round the world in fact, anywhere where English is not the native language. I normally use google chrome for these because of the Translate button which is brilliant. I just can't anything like this on Firefox. Am I missing something?

I am using Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3 desktop computer.
I have a HP Officejet 6500 E709n Series printer.
I am encountering some problems printing from my Google Chrome browser in my Outlook.com account because when I try to change some settings in the print dialog interface the printout comes out incorrectly.
Below are the 2 snapshots of the print dialog interface of Google Chrome browser before printing an email message from my Outlook.com account.
Are there any software updates to correct this problem?

Welcome to the forums Etow,
I saw your post about the issue you are having with printing from Google Chrome. Have you tried disabling your pop up blocker to see if that will help? Also see this guide about Printing with Chrome.
If the above does not help, try using Firefox or Internet Explorer to print.
