Websites and most pictures frequently won't load

Hello,
I'm having a trouble using my computer for browering the internet. I'd appreciate any feedback and suggetions on how to rectify this problem. So here goes!
Regaurdless of the internet connection, this problem is constant with no bearing on location, websites and about 75% of the images frequently won't load. When entering websites, maybe 10% of the time, the browser will tell me that the page is no good/can't find the server. When I come back later in the day I can view the site. Also with images, on blog websites, photosharing sites, or Facebook, some images will load but most won't.
Things I've already tried to fix the dilemna:
I have tried with both Safari and Google Crome.
I have restarted my computer.
I have restarted the browers.
I have gone in to Sytem Prefences/Network and reestablished my internet connection.
I have given Flash permission when it asks(although it usually doesn't ask on the websites I'm trying to access)

I am going through your response one thing at a time. Here are my questions/results.
1. router firewall and network settings for domain name servers-
router firewall: wouldn't the source of a problem there depend on my location and route therein? I'm using wireless and I take my computer everywhere and still have that problem.
network settings: not sure how to adjust this and I've fished around in all the settings I could find/understand
2. I ran the check for Flashback, I'm clear.
3. change DNS to OpenDNS, and best done log into your router and make the change there - again wouldn't that be done from the particular location or am I missing something that happens internally in my computer.
4. reboot/restart you might want to clear your browser of all its cache and history- did this but I forgot to list it above.
5. Safari support; or that you are not in laptop MBPro community; and there is Lion Community- I will check these.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Help please! I have been using Mountain Lion for a few weeks but Finder, System Prefferences and the App Store won't load and/or keep crashing even after reinstalling the OS. How do to fix it?

You need to check to make sure you are actually connected to the network. Tap Settings > WiFi >and then tap the blue ">" next to the network name with checkmark. You should see a complete set of IP address but if the router didn't issue you an IP address properly, you will see your touch IP address start with 169.x. If this is the case, you are connected to the internal network but not to the web.
First thing to do (while you are on that screen) is tap "Forget Network". Then turn WiFi off. Turn it back on and, if needed, tap Other and re-enter your network information. If you continue to have problems, check with your IT department on Monday.
In the meantime, your laptop and iTunes can be used to purchase apps and music. Syncing them with your touch is a great way to get them installed while you are waiting for the answer on your WiFi problem.

I just upgraded to Safari 5.0.6 and my gmail now won't load. Please help.

I just upgraded my Safari to 5.0.6 (using Mac OS X 10.5.8) on my MacBook Pro and now my G mail account won't load...all I get is a blank page. G mail still loads with Firefox (which, for some reason, I do not have "permission" on my laptop to upgrade). I have deleted the cookies, cleared the cache, but still can't get G mail to work. Yes you can.
Open Mac Mail. From the menu bar click Mail / Preferences then select the General tab.
Then select Accounts from the menu then the Account Information tab.
Click + (plus) under the Accounts window on the left.
Enter your name, your Gamil user name and password then click Create.
To start a new mail window, from the menu bar click File / New Message
Click the pop up menu next to: From
Select your Gmail account.
Click Attach form the new mail message window to include photos or links or just drag items to the window from your Desktop.

Java has been updated as well as firefox but java refuses to run - drop down menus won't work (ebay) and pogo game windows won't load.....HELP

Ever since I updated firefox to 3.5.16 java ahs stopped working. Drop down menu's in ebay don't, windows from links (such as tracking in ebay) don't work, pogo game windows won't load or will load the widow frame but not the game itself. I work online and run and online business and this wastes a lot of my time. Idon't want to use IE but might have to - I have looked in the forums and online and can't find a solution. Your help would be greatly appreciate it.

Safari and firefox won't launch and explorer opens but won't load correctly

Something weird is happening to our emac!
Got home yesterday after a few days away and all the apple aps have stopped working
Safari and itunes won't launch at all - they just bounce a couple of times in the dock - then nothing.
Firefox won't launch either - the only browser I can get to launch is explorer - and that won't load properly.
I've tried the software update - it says there's now software - but 'unexpectedly' quits if i try to download anything.
In desperation overnight I re-installed the software from the software restore discs - but this morning it's no better.
I saw a thread earlier that suggested that rogue fonts might be to blame - which could be something because the only page that loads in explorer displays strangely with the fonts all over the place.
Any advice that someone could give would be much appreciated

Better check the startup disk for errors.
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window. Where you see Capacity and Available. Make sure there is always 10% to 15% free disk space.
If you cannot boot from your install disk, try booting in Safe Mode

Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff: What version of iPhoto. What version of the Operating System. Details. What were you doing when the problem arose? Did it ever work properly? Step-by-step descriptions of how you got to this issue. If something doesn't work, are there error messages? What happens when you try to do this thing? And what steps have you tried already to solve the issue. With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.
Posts that consist of "iPhoto doesn't work. Help" or "iPhoto won't print" or "Suddenly I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!" mean that a helper is simply guessing. With information, s/he may be able to get your issue resolved sooner.

Firefox just won't start, but IE starts ok ~ I have uninstalled Firefox and downloaded Firefox and reinstalled, but still won't load ~ no error messages show

I have run Firefox with no problems for years, but all of a sudden the last 2 days it just won't load. IE and email works okay. I was able to download Firefox by using IE to get on the internet, but I just can't get Firefix to work. Have rebooted a number of times.

I am running XP/Pro SP3. Last Patch Tuesday I installed the latest Microsoft updates. Yesterday I updated Firefox from 3.6.11 to 3.6.12. Since then I have been unable to start Firefox.
Using the desktop icon, using the start menu icon, double clicking firefox.exe all do nothing - a slight flurry of activity and then nothing.
There are no reports in Event Viewer relating to Firefox.
As reported by another, Internet Explorer works.
I just installed 3.6.11 over top of 3.6.12 and Firefox works again.
Since I would rather have the security updates of 3.6.12, I hope you can get to the bottom of this soon.

Tried to install the most recent update and now my ITUNES won't load. Getting an error message that says there is a "runtime error" and that I need to reinstall INTUNES. Help!!!

I can't seem to fully load apps like Candy Crush, Plants vs. Zombies, and now my camera won't load. Any ideas on what the problem is?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Candy Crush and Plants vs. Zombies 2, but no luck.
I've recently tried using my camera to take a picture, and it won't fully load as well so I'm stuck not able to play games, or take pictures.

CORRECTION: I can download it as everything else besides a PDF version. I'm able to download the document as a Word, Pages, and ePub document but not a PDF which hampers obviously our printing capabilities. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have loaded Pages software on my ipad.
I received a PDF document via email as an attachment which I wanted to save. It was a small document, but with lots of graphics, the ipad offered me no no option to store in Pages.
What app could I download which the ipad would give as an option for storage from an email. Would ibooks do?
I already have winzip, but that didn't show as an option.

Adobe After Effects CS6 and empty MediaCore file won't load...

I have just installed Adobe After Effects CS6 because CC was too difficult for me to learn but CS6 has it's own problems. When I launch the program it gets stuck while loading the "MediaCore" file. I went to find the file, but there was nothing in it. Why can't I use CS6?

I don't see much difference in the interface between CC 2014, CC, and CS6. Now, the CC 2014 update that's coming out in a month or so, looks somewhat different/better. But it doesn't matter what we think. What matters is that you are able to work. Some are reporting that logging out and back into your account again will resolve this. However if your problem persists:
Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will need to click the large ‘Report A Problem’ button under the list of previous purchases in order to reveal the ‘Report A Problem’ link for your recent purchase. If your purchase is listed as a previous purchase use the small arrow on the left side of its listing.
Alternatively you can use the receipt email to report a problem.
