Websites are not working from my history
I just upgraded to FF 31. Now when I choose a website from my history, instead of being taken to the website, I am taken to google search results. This is really frustrating. I saw an article about changing the search info in the config file, and I changed it, but I'm still getting the same result.
Note that your System Details list shows that you have preferences that were used in previous Firefox versions and that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
You can delete the user.js file and rename (or delete) the prefs.js and numbered pref-## files to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

all the links in the header of any websites are not working, the cursor is not changing into pointer and no way to click on any link located at the top of any website page. Some pages of my website are not active from the home page
Built my website with iweb. When I go to the site the tabs to all the pages show, but several of them are not active from the home page. If I go to one of the active pages I can then click on the other pages. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried reloading the entire site, but several of the tabs remain inactive from the home page. Thanks Roddy - I tried moving it down and it didn't work - That line is in the Template I used to build the site and is on every page. I did finally get the command A to work, but there's nothing covering those bottom three tabs.
However, when I put my mouse in the area of the box where it has my name (the image you sent me above) it shows a link desktop/site/booker_files and I noticed I have one of the rss feed blue arrows, but I can't seem to delete it. I wonder if that has something to do with it. It does the same thing on the website if you hover with your mouse.

Several websites are not working. Please Help.
Over the last couple of months, several regularly used websites (ebay, myspace, itunes main page) have stopped loading and give me an unable to find server page. When I log out of my normal user id and log in as a different user id, every website works fine in safari, but I obviously don't have any of my regularly used files. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it? It has happened gradually over a period of time, where all of a sudden a website I regularly access will not load. Any help is appreciated.

Another possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Mailto: link not working from a particular website but works from others
the mailto: links on my website are not working in firefox v26.0 but other sites mailto links work perfectly well and open gmail has i would expect them to. i know the links on my site are working has i have tested them in chrome and work has expected so the issue is purely within firefox.

Tried everything that has been suggested so far without success,
I therefore unistalled firefox and rebooted computer and reinstalled FF and retested the links from the top level frameset then clicking the Contact Us link in the left frame.
The mailto: links when clicked on now open a newly composed message by firstly initiating a new tab within chrome its self (mailto: set to use google chrome within Options-> Options->Applications). If I set this to be Use Gmail then the problem i was having returns.
Does anyone have any suggestions of why this is. -
Since Sunday I can not access Itunes or App store with my Ipad 2. I can not use the facebook app, it will log in, but will not load up the newsfeed, I can not use it in Safari either. Also can not use apps like Draw Something. The same thing has happened to my husbands Ipad. On occasion it will allow the app store or itunes to work. Any ideas?
I have the itunes and app store working now, but my FB app and FB on Safari will not work and other websites are not working very well on Safari...any ideas?

Some attachment buttons not working from external networks
Hi guys,
We have an eSourcing system that we access internally from server.internal.com . We also make this eSourcing system available to external vendors through www.external.com .
The external access is done using a Citrix AGEE system (reverse proxy, etc.). As part of this, the AGEE has the ability to change the hostname in the URL so the real server is hidden from external vendors. For example, when eSourcing generates a webpage, the AGEE searches through and replaces all http://server.internal.com references to http://www.external.com , and vice-versa for incoming calls.
This works for about 95% of the content, but there are a fer places where the links are not re-written correctly. One example is the File Attachment buttons when replying to a question. However, other file attachment buttons work correctly.
1. Does anyone else have a similar situation, using a Citrix or other product for external vendors?
2. Does anyone have a similar problem where certain links/buttons are not working from external networks?
3. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?
4. Are there any settings that are specific to external access that may need to be set?

Michael.SAP has re-written some of their code to help rectify the problem. We have also been working with Citrix to provide additional fixes. If anyone else has these problems, apply the latest patch of eSourcing and contact Citrix support to get the AGEE changes needed to make it work.

Parental Controls are not working correctly. There are websites I've listed under Allow Access, however they are still blocked. - such as: Yahoo mail and USAA banking. How can I fix this?

Just thought I'd let you know. Our suspicions were correct, it was the OS. After I installed Snow Leopard (10.6.8) all the problems were corrected. I also updated the RAM from 1 gb to 6 gb. The mac is working all around better. Sorry it took so long to get back to everyone. My superdrive had pooped out. Rather than replace it I got an external drive from OWC connected with firewire 800. So far everything is running very well, as far as I can tell this external drive is better than the original superdrive. My superdrive has always acted funny, infact I returned the first mac I got after a week because its superdrive was also malfunctioning. Anyway, all that to say everything seems to be fully functioning again.

Safari could not open the page on my new ipad mini's because the server stopped responding- new ipad mini's (2 from separate places) are not working with At & T router but computers work fine. Yesterday I got it to work. Weird. Can you please help me. I've tried everything. Thanks ya'll!

I was looking into the issue you are desribing, and found a great article for troubleshooting wifi connections with iOS devices. It's called iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections and can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1398.
Start with this section, and work your way down if needed.
Basic troubleshooting
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again.
Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.For AirPort Base Stations, refer to this article for information about firmware updates. For third-party Wi-Fi routers, check the manufacturer's website for details on updating your firmware.
Restart your iOS deviceHold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.

You must enable iTunes Match on the new computer. The best way to accomplish what you want to do is to create a new, empty library by launching iTunes while holding down the Option key (Shift on Windows) and choosing "new library." Can an ipod get a virus from a pc that has a virus. After connecting two different ipods to my pc to download music they both are not working correctly, could the virus have transferred to the ipod, if not why would both ipods not work and be doing the same thing? When trying to click on a game it just stays on the main screen.
- I have not heard of a virus that can cause problem with an iDvice that has not been jailbroken.
- Try resetting the iPods. nothing will be lost.

Not sure exactly what this might be... there could be an issue there.
Please make sure that you review the upgrade.log. Are there any errors / warnings?
Also, you might wanna peek the Metalink Note:262623.1 - Master Note for OracleAS Portal Upgrade Issues, where you'll find some nice things where to start looking at.
Later you may wanna open a Service Request into the Oracle Support.

Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.
