Websites do not load, get white page and "Go to a website" in address bar.
I have a mac running OS X 10.6.8 (all updated). Running Firefox 11. Firefox loads with all bookmarks, passwords in place. No webpages are accessible, even bookmarks. I type a URL, like www.google.com, the www. is grayed out, but the google.com is black text. No page loads, no errors or messages. The tab says "New Tab". I click on a bookmark, the New Tab blinks for a millisecond to "connecting" and i get the same white page.
Alternatively, the same OS, different user, firefox and profile works fine.
All other browsers, safari, chrome, opera work fine. No firewall software (OS level) is implemented.

I updated the new version of FireFox and now when I open it Google appears the way it should but when I type into the search bar or type in a web address it will not load. The message says to check my internet connection and my firewall to make sure firefox is allowed to use the web. Everything looks ok to me and I do not know how to fix it, help!

Can someone please explain how this now works? And am I obligated to load Mountain Lion. It's a very expensive price to pay for online privacy that isn't even Private anymore. I am old enough that I don't have to pay ransome. I can just quit.
I didn't say and was never asked If I wanted Mountain Lion. I can no longer 'Empty Cache' at the end of a session online and when I do a search now (and this has all changed overnight) the query is typed into what used to be the address bar and when the search results appear, after reading the first result and I want to read the second or fifth or Any of the other results of the query I am forced to resubmit the search in the address bar because the 'Page Back' button has been removed and the Little Red Dot closes the Search Results Page altogether.
What else am I in for with Mountain Lion? I already know that I do NOT want anything to do with iCloud. I am willing to bet a lot of money that a pharmaceutical company one day is going to be holding me for ransome with a new drug that was created out of the symptoms of a once - upon - a - time naturally occuring symptom of aging. At least I can turn my Macbook off and leave it that way and the world will not cease to exist. (Or will it?)Computer operation 101.
Get a bootable, external HD (preferably FireWire, since it's 40-50% faster than USB 2 and designed for data transfers), make a bootable backup/clone before updating/upgrading, using something like Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper!, and ensure that it's bootable and works like the original. That allows you to revert to the previous good state without having to reinstall or reset anything. See these for details:

On a website such as http://forums.kyngdvb.com/forum.php some windows often do not load with the page and have to be reloaded. This did not happen with Firefox 3.6

I have this problem too but it seems pot luck and only like 5% of the time, the website will say the page is loaded but the page is just blank white...refreshing does not work and I have to go back and navigate to the page again

Firefox 26 does not load the home page. Instead, it loads the previous session, irrespective of what has been entered in "Options". The browser is running in Win 7.0 64-bit; Norton Internet Suite 21 provides the security functions. There are certain "cloud" solutions also running such as Google Drive, Box, Skydrive and Cubby. The browser behaves similarly in all my machines (the setup and OS is similar to the one described above) and no amount of resetting of "Options" seems to affect it . Nor is it affected by the manner Firefox is closed. It is obviously a bug that needs to be fixed.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -

When you've replaced your ink cartridges, have you run an alignment page? Are you using plain white paper when doing so? The auto detect sensor in the printer is looking for "what is white?" You might try the steps listed in this document to align the ink cartridges and use plain white paper when doing so.

Safari will not load a home page after dload of Svc. Pack 3 for XP!!
After an upgrade by Microsoft to Service Pack 3 for Windows XP Pro, Safari will not load a home page of any kind and I get a blank screen where I normally am able to get Yahoo's Web Page instead.
Please help!!
pbjsandwichgd in Ga.Probably a good idea to uninstall and then reinstall safari. I got service pack 3 and safari just disappeared, I have reinstalled it and had no problems (other than a 'SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ERROR' pop up as per my other post!

Web Logic 10.3.6 (64bit) - Could not load the sitemesh filter and library
Installed Web Logic 10.3.3 (32bit) and Java JDK 1.6.0_21 (32bit) in a customer's server (Windows Server 2008 R2 and 64-bit Operating System). The web page can be displayed with header and side menu.
However installed Web Logic 10.3.6 (64bit) and Java JDK 1.6.0_31 (64bit) on that same server. The web page cannot be displayed with header and side menu, it is just displayed with a blank background. Refer to the below "ERROR LOG", found the application could not load the sitemesh filter and library properly. We are using sitemesh-2.3.jar.
Have tried installed Web Logic 10.3.6 (64bit) and Java JDK 1.6.0_31 (64bit) in a test server (Windows Server 2008 R2 and 64-bit Operating System). The web page can be displayed with header and side menu.

I am suspecting if it has to do anything with the native libraries being loaded JAVA_LIB_PATH.
Please review the server log file again for identifying differences in LIB_PATH or PATH or any messages saying "Unable to load native.. performance pack.."

some pages i go to do not load all pictures, links, and buttons. they were working but shortly after upgrade they quit working. i have tried on other browsers and they work fine there. i have checked all settings and have done a clear on history and cookies. went though your help and not found anything that has helped. the link giving below is one of several web page am having trouble with this here is just log in screen here but it does not show the buttons or ling to continue. on other sites i go to it will not load the images and some of the links are missing.
Try clearing your browser cache.
Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button. -
