Websites no longer show up properly using osx 10.6.8 ffox 36.0.1

i am pretty sure it's the fact I am still using OSX 10.6.8 but some websites no longer show up properly the way they show up on OSX 10.10
even in safari websites no longer show up the way it does on the new OS. I have also downloaded the latest flash player. I like using snow leopard to me it is the best version of osx in many instances and would like to continue using it. It looks like the html or flash code cannot be deciphered.
Any help would be appreciated.

Missing icons are usually supplied by a font that is downloaded from the server (@font-face) as you might see by little boxes that show the hex code of the characters instead.
In your case you have a font installed in Windows that covers this range.
You need to make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts to make Firefox use fonts that are downloded.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
You can check the <b>gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page and make sure that it is set to true (if necessary double-click the line to toggle its value).

Why do music videos no longer show up properly?

After updating to OS5 I notice that music videos no longer show up properly.
I have most of mine in playlists, and it show the songs, but only plays the music, not the video?
When I view them in 'Videos' I have no option to sort or show them in a different way!
Considering the iPad is probably more slanted toward movie content, the lack of features for music videos is very disapointing

I think this has always been a lacking feature in the iPad videos app but now it is even worse as you can't go into the music app, context navigate to the video you want and play the music video. It was irritating in the past as it took you back to the lack luster videos app with no sorting or context other than the video tile navigation, now it is TOTALLY un functional.
APPLE DEVOLPMENT please use the video app with 200+ music videos and see how you like it! Or does anyone know of a replacement or more advanced app that will allow a better browse and play interface. Apple's is so basic that it is 'still' just painful!
Music video playlist and shuffle on the iPad would also be nice but sort would be awesome!
Thanks for any info from anyone on this topic that I have long hopped to be resolved but it is going backward and we are loosing features.
The new music interface isn't any better in my opinion either, play buttons at the top so your hand has to be over the top of the screen, store button at the bottom left vs top right as it would be more intuitive like other app purchase button positioning.
Anyone know how to make music videos sort better on the iPad (by artist would be awesome)

Microsoft's connect website doesn't show content properly in firefox

I have contacted Microsoft directly regarding this matter but did not receive a reply. Also their connect website no longer allows filing bugs on the website itself so I don't know where else to report this. Please forward this to whomever oversees the site.
If you view a bug report submitted on connect in Firefox the description will be cut off if goes past the width of its container. It has been like this for many months. The text should wrap as it does in Chrome and IE. For example this bug:

For the connect site issue, sorry for that we also didn't support it, you know that actually this forum is to discuss the VS IDE. I think that you'd better discuss this issue with the connect members.
This issue the result in IE after I visit it in my side.
In addition, since the Firefox is the third party browser, it is hard for me to help you repro this issue in my side. But if possible, you could test it in different machine with the same browser, I'm not very sure that whether it is the Firefox browser
issue or the connect web site issue. But you could discuss this issue with connect site members, please also post this issue to the Firefox forum, so they could help you repro this issue better if it is hard for you to really repro this issue in different
machines.

Dropdown and Date Fields does not show up properly using https

I am running my portal on NW04 SP20 and i am using NWDS SP20. When run my WD application using http://<portal host>:<port>/irj -> My WebDynpro iview. I see my all UI elements working properly. Branding changes effected in all UI elements. When i run using https://<prdportal>/irj -> my Webdynpro iview, dropdown values shows in plain text. It looks like my branding is not effected for UI elements data. I see branding changes in UI element, not UI element data. Same for date ( calendar ) box also.

My ipod no longer shows up properly?

My ipod used to appear as Luke's Ipod, now not only does it not show up at all in itunes, it appears only as Apple Ipod anywhere else. I've reset my ipod and itunes, re-installed itunes, restarted the mobile device serivce, emptied the Temp folder, tried different cables and tried a different computer. I haven't found anything that helped so far. Any ways to fix this?

The airplay option on my iphone 5 is no longer showing. I used to be able to select my Denon receiver as an option to listen to my iTunes playlist from my phone.

Is anyone else having trouble with the airplay not appearing in their music app? Up until the recent ios 6.1.4 update, I was able to play music from iTunes from my iphone5 through my Denon receiver. Now after the update it doesn't even give it as an option.

I see that you are having issues with AirPlay. Try closing multitasking by following the steps in the screenshot below. I have also included an article that covers AirPlay troubleshooting.

Remove Office 2008 for Mac using Microsoft deinstall procedure. Reinstall Office 2008 for Mac. If there are updates, apply them. Using Disk Utility, verify/repair permissions on your boot drive.
Does Office for Mac 2008 now work correctly? If not, you may want to repeat the above first sentence, and then update to Office for Mac 2011, and apply the latest (14.4.8) update which has Yosemite fixes.

UPDATE: I had 36 Safari windows open and minimized on the dock from my last session; 20 of those windows failed to open b/c Safari "couldn't find the server"; I just went to the URL bar of all 20 pages and clicked return, and all 20 pages loaded perfectly, without dropping any images or losing formatting. This is a puzzle!!!

If you're a paying Creative Cloud member, you may not see Lightroom in the Creative Cloud if your computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. Check to make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the latest release of Lightroom.

I have lost track of the number of websites which do not work properly on my iPad. They include retail sites, billing sites and most important of all job application sites. They all seem to require Adobe Flash Player which cannot be downloaded onto an iPad. Skyfire does not solve the problem. They all load without vital parts of the site such as tabs, links and correct formatting. Any suggestions?

Most such brower/service combinations have a difficult time working with Flash-based apps and often fail completely. Flash videos are usually the most successful content these browers can handle. You can try the others apps - Puffin, iSwifter, etc - but you may find that none of them work, in which case you will not be able to use your iPad with these sites other than by using one of the various remote control solutions to take over a computer running the full Flash Player.
IMHO, any developer that built a Flash application for a billing or job application site was an idiot, but I know that's out of the control of anyone but the relevant company.
