Websites Such as Google, Kongregate, Facebook, and Ebay are not loading correctly, they Load as if it were a layout for an older mobile internet browser.
I recently Did a windows update to install Internet explorer 9. When my Computer Restarted, I opened Mozilla, because it is my preferred Browser, and pages such as the ones stated above started loading with just text with no layout. I cleared the cache, reverted to defaults, and nothing seemed to work, if anything, i just want the pages to load, because i don't want to change my browser preference.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Some websites may not recognize the new layout of the Firefox user agent and interpret as being a mobile device. In the past there used to be more info present in the UA

Ashok Gadiparthi.Check if Style Resource Readers SharePoint group has permissions on the site, permissions to the style library and make sure that this library provides Style Resource Readers with restricted read.
If you don't see Style resource readers on the site, go to that library and set that permission. you could also just load your installation media to a folder, and execute on setup.exe, select repair option. This second option of the installation
media is the cannon vs. flyswatter approach though, but it will work

Connect your iPod to any computer with iTunes installed, highlight your device and try syncing the apps only. If it doesn't work might have to restore through iTunes. With the new iTunes and iCloud beta, you can have the iTunes list what apps are missing on your device but if you had previously purchased in the past and then have iTunes install them. You should always get in the habit of backing up your iPhone whenever you do any firmware/OS updating/upgrading or transferring over to new device. I really really really really hope you can get back at least some of your old info. I will tell you this, I have been kicking myself in the butt for not routinely backing up my iPhone when my beautiful special iPhone 4 came up missing and had to revert back to my 3GS. iPhone 5 will be released in a few months so I am holding off on purchasing a new iPhone til then, not that I did so without reservation and a little bit of iPhone 4 withdraw.

Why can't I access certain websites, such as google or facebook, in any browser?
This started last night, and it is strange. I am unable to access a few websites, such as Google, Facebook, and the sign in page for my google account. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari all with pretty much the same results. I have reset the original settings in these browsers, cleared my caches and browsing data, ran the disk utilities and permissions check. And still the same results.
Two particularly peculiar things have been occuring.
In youtube, I am unable to sign into my account in two of the browsers, and in Chrome I am already logged in but the autoplay of my watch later playlist acts very odd. one the main skeleton of the website is loaded It will show the red bar of the video loading across the top, then instead of playing the video, it skips to the next one. It will continue down the playlist without playing any video whatsoever and marks the videos as 'watched' afterwards. I can still use Yahoo search with no problems.
Here is the really odd thing. When I tried to load youtube in Safari, which I almost never use, it sat and spun waiting for the website then in the end it took me to a 'get google chrome webpage;' this was the same in Firefox (see attached images). Note: the navigation urls are facebook.com and youtube.com, but the favicon shows the chrome icon and my homepage is not set on this. I also included the network traffic overview to show how 47 servers are being accessed via Safari with only three tabs, none of which have loaded. And Chrome is not my default browser.
Also, I have a network montitor that I watch during this and it is very busy going to many different websites accessing over 50 different servers. These are websites which some I recognize, such as chat.facebook.com, and some webservers that I don't recognize. But I don't have any of these open in any tabs and hadn't tried to get on these sites for days.
Two things which may have contributed to these anomolies:
I updated to OS X 10.9.2. It was downloaded two nights ago, and I told it to restart the computer in an hour as I went to sleep. I assumed that it was already installed, but when I opened the AppStore today, it still had to go through the install restart process. Since this update invovled changing how website certificates are handled, maybe my downloading without doing the proper restart install caused something weird to occur. It is true that all of the affected websites do use an https: SSL address. But if this is the case then why wasn't this issue fixed when I finally did a correct installation. And why is there so much traffic to websites on the browser activity that have nothing to do with the open websites in the browser.
The final thing is that I read about how Adobe Cloud accounts, over a few million, were recently stolen. When I was researching this I found a link that was supposed to show me if my account had been one of the compromised ones. I went to the website, http://www.geek.com/apps/how-to-check-if-your-adobe-account-was-hacked-1576194/ which led me to the website http://adobe.cynic.al/, and ( stupidly) entered my account email to search if it was on the list, only to realize after that this was not a legit adobe webpage. If memory serves me correct, the problems going to webisites was worse after I did this.
So, I thought I would bring this to peoples attention. I am now going to do the only thing left I can think of to try and repair this so I can watch my youtube newsclips and google searches again, and that is to do a complete reinstall of Mavericks and then a migration from my backup afterwards, Unless someone had a better idea. BTW I did go through all of my main accounts to websites, using a different computer, and changed all of my passwords.1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the request of a stranger on a public message board. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed: Copy a line of text from this web page into the window of another application. Wait for the script to run. It usually takes a few minutes. Then paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page. The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. Details follow.
4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply.
6. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, just press return three times at the password prompt.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test will take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

my pc crashed and i lost all my pictures and music that was stored on the pc. now i have a new pc and when i log into itunes all my music and photos are not available. I guess i dont understand the pupose of itunes and its worth. I thought it backed up all my photos and music, but apparently not. So what do I use so that when i lose data on my pc i can retrieve it again at a later date or after a crash?/
Your content will only be where you put it. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone: File>Device>Transfer purchases.
You can import your pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.
You can e-mail the other pics to yourself, they will never be of the original quality.
You can out a unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. You should get the option to merge the data when you sync. -
The maximize/minimize and close and buttons are not shown correctly when FF windows is maximized.
I have the same problem on all my computers, one running Windows 7 and two with Vista.
The three buttons in the upper right corner of the FF windows are not shown correctly. They are soft of cut off in the middle when the FF window is maximized.It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off.<br />
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.<br />
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.<br />

I recently changed my ISP because I was having connectivity issues. In particular my router would shut down sporadically. As part of my attempt to clear issues I ran some spyware software which I've been told I could trust. Since then I have a problem viewing many websites as many (but not all) of the images are missing, even on websites that I know very well, including my own. What is very strange is that on one site every page has a jpg image under the navigation bar and all of these jpg's appear except one which doesn't appear even when I reload images. This problem also makes security sensitive sites like my bank site look very amateur which frightens me. The problem does not occur on other web browsers.
Which ''spyware software'' software did you run?
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

Facebook and twitter are not showing up in Notification Center - Mac OSX 10.8.1
I see a lot of reviews with Facebook and Twitter options on the notification panel, but I can't seem to get the buttons added.
Anybody else having this problem or know how to fix it??Yes this is what it means.

My ipod touch seems to have a few issues, however my pre-installed and updated imessage and facetime were literally working last night, and after a breif break to charge battery (the back of the ipod was SUPER HOT) wasn't able to do facetime or imessage, and am STILL NOT today, what gives?? Any suggestions and advice?.
Found the answer, at least for now! Thanks to roryjt, and having to search through tons of post on imessage and facetime issues! Changed the DNS on my ipod for my wireless network to 8.8.8.8 Not sure if it will work outside of my wireless network, but since its an ipod, not an iphone, I usually only use it in my place/on my network. Endashes and quotes are not converted correctly when copying FM files by reference
I'm using FM7 in the TCS1 in a Windows XP environment. I am copying FM books by reference into my RH project.
I'm noticing that endashes (–) and quotation marks (") are not consistently coming across correctly in my RH project. Instead, I am getting &endash; for the endash, and &rdquor: instead of a quote. Note: it appears to be only the first quote that encloses text that doesn't convert; the closing quote converts.
Any ideas?I have RoboHelp 7 and the patches won't install unless I do a complete reinstall. Since I'm at the end of a release, that will have to wait.

Username and employee_id are not replicated during Initial load
In our system we want to integrate HR in ECC (via BP in ECC) with BP in CRM.
Our system consists of SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP CRM 5.0. HR is used for maintaining our (master)data. This all works fine, but when checking the replicated data (in CRM) there's some data missing. In CRM BP there is no EMPLOYEE_ID and USERNAME while they are in ECC BP. Is anyone familiar with this problem or does anyone know where I need to search for a solution.Thanks four your reply, but I already applied Note 550055. I also applied Note 934372. All the settings are right and the integration works fine. It just looks as the BDoc doesn't transfer the username and employee_id (these values are empty when I look at the BDoc).
Concerning table T77S0, entry HRALX/USRAC should handle the creation and linking of (not-existing) users in the target system (ie. CRM) but because the values aren't transferred I can't check whether this is the case. -

That definitely sounds frustrating. If the songs are not playing in iTunes, they may need to be redownloaded. See the following article:

Occasionally, if a song purchased from the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC was not downloaded completely, the song may not play back fully. The song may abruptly stop during playback, and iTunes may start playing the next song in your library or playlist.

If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
2. Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
3. Download your previously purchased song from this list.
Note: iTunes in the Cloud, which allows you to download previously purchased songs from the iTunes Store, is not available in every country. Learn if iTunes in the Cloud is offered in your country

I tried the same links from google chrome and they are working fine but when i try them on mozilla firefox, the new tab that opens says "page cannot be found". These links are usually to other sites such as goal.com and alike. Sometimes, surprisingly and confusingly, when I reload the page starts to work or when I reopen it but usually it doesn't. I am quite happy with life using Mozilla. Please fix this bug or setting disorder.

If I try to open portal admin page and discoverer to view reports using browser installed on same unix server (Using Xwindow) , everything is opening perfect. while If I open from any client machine the browser doesn't show things correctly , not able to click links ,not able to open drop down list...Ok so I saw this issue recently and it was effecting one user for specific documents.
The fix was not very technical but try and see if this fixes it:
Click View -- Arrange ll -- Select Cascade
This should bring up the document correctly
Maximize the working Sheet
Minimize the same Sheet
Then maximize the Sheet again
Then close the Sheet
Close excel
Open up the file -
